#'clara bow' is dorothea's song. i also kinda wanna say that 'who's afraid of little old me' is for dorothea too but i also don't really#think that dorothea really gets a chance to have that rage because of the way the timeline works out#like it would be dorothea but after everything gets leaked but since everything was leaked there isn't as much to rage about AT jason as#there would have been if jason had leaked the video.#....if that makes sense idk if i'm explaining that well.#but clara bow is totally a dorotha song. clara bow is for the it girls and dorothea is an it girl and she gets it#ooc ( liesl's version )

For all my fellow name nerds out there, I am very pleased to present the third annual "Gloyd Roberson Memorial List of Actual Human Children Who Wrote Letters to Santa in 1920s/30s Oklahoma".
These names aren’t all necessarily “weirder than Gloyd” but fall into three rough categories which I’ve dubbed: “that’s got a nice ring to it”, “if I used this in a novel it would be considered too unrealistic” and “you’ve got 5 seconds to name a character that lives in 1920s Oklahoma, GO!”:

Buster Banks
Weldon Barnhart
Auvanelle Bartlett
Heartwell Bateson
Delbert Benson

H is for History
collected notes on three features of the Boralverse alternate history that begin with the letter H.
Hasinic Welsh (Cambroec Hasinia /kəmˈbreːk həˈziː.njə/) is one of the primary languages of Hasiny [~S Mississippi River], along with the Mendevan [N American] language of Jaughta [~Choctaw]. It is mutually intelligible with other varieties of Welsh, although its orthography uses a different standard to British or Chrysian [Australian] Welsh. A few English words come via this language, like herdtale [western] (a calque of jadełath "herd-dom") and sobot [radio] (originating in Jaughta çobota "message").
Hatfell Honours (Merch /ˈhat.fəl ˈɔ.nəz/) refer to several prizes awarded since the early twentieth century to artists in various fields across the Drengot Collusion (and, after that alliance-federacy collapsed in 1961, across all of Gaul [France] and the Northwestern Isles [Ireland, GB, Borland]). The Honours in literature and drama are among the original set of prizes, while new arts have been admitted as recently as the 2010s. The Honours are named for Hatfell [Hatfield, Hertfordshire], a northern town in London near the border with Markland which was home to a collective of renowned authors in the nineteenth century. In 1918, the writer Dorotha Quistack won a Hatfell Honour for one of her adolescences [coming-of-age novels].
Hostilian (in Borlish often Stiglan /staiˈlan/, latinised as Hostīliānus) was a Borlish monk in the ninth century, often considered the father of Borlish history. His most famous work Historiæ Terrarum Boralensium "Histories of the Borlish Lands" is a semi-mythic account of Borland for the past five centuries since the arrival of Germanic peoples on the island. It includes a continuous list of rulers from Prase Victor Rossetus, several of which are not attested in any other source. This has led some historiographers to conclude that Hostilian was commissioned by the contemporary monarchy to legitimise their rule.

The perfect couple
It was a really nice thriller tv-show, but come one Nicole Kidman is just horrible since her last chirurgical facial operation (as well as Isabel Adjani). Nothing moves any more.
But I knew from episode 1 that the pregnant lady was the murder, but still I don't understand why.
Is it me or Gosia's character is so inspired by Dorotha's character in Gossip Girl.
I didn't understand Isabel Galley's role at all.
I like Tan Winbury's character, even if I don't understand why he is cheating on the woman he loves so much.
And Shooter Dival was really hot. I thought that something would end up as a throuple.
A good tv show to binge watch in one day.

Alice and the Cheshire cat
Closed rp with @itashiro-hitsuchiha
There was something peculiar about this woman's semblance- Alice Goldrin; a young woman with a particular quirk, she was a bit coo coo in the head.
Ashfords depending on the partner's powerful semblance make their summon semblances more powerful; for example a semblance used to mask emotions will make a minorly powerful summon, whereas a semblance that controls the elements or makes explosions will make a powerful one- it could even mix the semblances into one thing.
That's what they wanted here, Alice's semblance was powerful, and Lance was one of the few Ashfords to unlock multiple summons of course his family wanted to breed that into strong protectors.
"Miss Goldrin, you came to us for a solution- I can't give you exactly what you want, however if you scratch my back, I can look into finding a way to help you mentally." Dorotha had the prefect thing to fix her, the relic- but the personality made the semblance, she needed her nuttier than a fruitcake.
"Breed with my son, and we'll find a way to help you in the meantime." The lemur faunus woman gave her the ultimatum, staring at her from behind a glass window

I can't believe you would betray me like this😔 not only are y'all band kids but you're trombone players 😔 /silly
What's your (or anyone else's) favorite kind of music?
Womp womp (:
Hola, buenos días.
At this current hour, Wheat is not here, so I’ll take her spotlight (don’t worry she is quite fine with this).
I watched them play for a lot of her rehearsals (and participated myself in some of course) and I concluded that I enjoy playing those fast but epic rhythms.
This one piece were playing it’s called Fireball by Brian Beck, it may be simple but it’s quite a joy, it’s past it’s loud and it’s so fun.
And to contrast, Wheat likes slow and “meaningful” melodies” we’re playing Prince in concert (which has 1999, When doves cry, Purple rain, and Let’s go crazy in it) arranged by Paul Murtha, it’s good, but I don’t like it much. I much rather prefer fast and loud then slow and monotonous, like another one of their favorites, Spring awakening a jazz piece, I don’t like it because it’s quite confusing but they like it and I’m okay with that.
I should introduce myself shouldn’t I before I forget.
I’m Dorotha, another demi-girl, pan, Hispanic too🇲🇽 I do believe myself to be quite a doll tho (;
