Disney Television Animation get some cute references on the "Donald Duck X Hot Ones" by Walt Disney Animation Studios, the short directed and written by Eric Goldberg gives a few nods to "DuckTales (1987)", "Darkwing Duck" and "The Goofy Movie".

Unpopular opinion, but I kind of wish Disney would focus a little more on other characters from the classic Disney universe (Mouseverse, Duckverse, Dogverse) and not just the Sensational Six characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto and Goofy) plus Chip and Dale and Pete. By this I mean Scrooge, Horace, Clarabelle, Oswald, Huey, Dewey and Louie, Gyro, Ludwig, Grandma Duck, Fethry, Gus, Gladstone, Ortensia, Mad Doctor, Beagle Boys, Magica, Glomgold, Rockerduck, Sylvester Shyster, Phantom Blot, Darkwing Duck, Jose Carioca, Panchito Pistoles, Aracuan Bird, April, May and June, Gosalyn, Morty and Ferdie Fieldmouse, Chief O'Hara, Detective Casey, Scuttle, Mortimer, Figaro the Cat, Max Goof, Neighbor Jones, Brigitta MacBridge and others characters.

By this I mean with regards to the latest Disney animation shows "A Whole New Sound", Hot Ones and these What If Marvel comics. Like you can't make superheroes and super villains out of these characters I mentioned?! Scrooge as Professor X, Glomgold as Magneto or Magica as Red Widow? It seems to me that Disney (I mean the American official one, not the European one for sure) ignores these characters and thinks they don't exist. Really disappointing in my opinion.

I'm all for it! So long as it's not in state. After a small, tiny, incident with a bit of wasabi where I maybe threatened people, damaged some property and other stuff I don't know because I guess I blacked out. I'm not allowed anything over mild around Burbank, most of the San Fernando area and a little beyond.

All I remember is it touched my tongue, and then I woke up on top of the observatory in Griffith with a court date.

If you could cast actors as the Duck family (and friends) in a live action series (where the charachters would be in human versions, ofc) who would you cast?

Hi and sorry for answering you late again. Hm, to be honest I didn't think about that, but to be honest I'm not a fan of ducks being in a live action movie or live action series. Of course if it were possible to put animated ducks in those real action movies like Who Framed Roger Rabbit or something like this:

But if you think that as actors they would play those characters who are not ducks, but humans, then it would make more sense. By the way, last year or two years ago I know that French fans made something similar, in which Scrooge and Donald go on adventures, I just forgot the title. But there's also this movie made by Icelanders that's like a parody of Donald Duck comics:

The movie is called "Dogma" and there an actor plays Donald who is struggling in life and stuck in prison and has a lot of trouble and in that movie it is spoken in Danish as a parody of Danish comics where they usually publish Donald Duck comics as well as a parody of Danish movies which are usually criminal and dramatic. By the way, it's not for children, because adult humor and black humor are mostly used, which can only be understood by adults who know Donald Duck comics, and in Scandinavian countries Donald Duck is very popular, so the area of ​​popularity is not limited to Italy. Ironically more struck by the authenticity of the Donald Duck comics than either version of Ducktales.

Hot Ones is an American YouTube talk show, created by Sean Evans and Chris Schonberger, hosted by Evans and produced by First We Feast and Complex Media. Its basic premise involves celebrities being interviewed by Evans over a platter of increasingly spicy chicken wings.

The Format

The format involves Evans and his celebrity guests eating ten chicken wings (or a vegetarian/vegan alternative based on the guest's preference), each prepared with a progressively hotter hot sauce. Evans states the show's tagline at the beginning of each episode: "The show with hot questions, and even hotter wings."

The first sauce presented is relatively mild such as sriracha, which has a rating of 2,200 Scoville units. The final sauce (as of season 4), Hot Ones' own The Last Dab (The Last Dab Reduxx starting in season 6, The Last Dab XXX starting in Season 10, The Last Dab Apollo starting in season 13, and The Last Dab Xperience starting in season 22), has a Scoville rating of 2,000,000+. As per "tradition", the guests are encouraged to put a minuscule extra amount of The Last Dab on the final wing; they are told this is not required, but most guests opt to do so even when already struggling with the heat of the previous wings.

The standard show is Evans and one guest eating ten wings each. In some episodes there are two guests (such as the episodes featuring Keegan-Michael Key & Jordan Peele or Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, respectively). In a few episodes (mostly specials), five wings are presented instead of ten. To finish off, Evans encourage his guests to promote their upcoming projects.
