I would like to give a disclaimer that I am not too good with headcanons lol but will give it a try! I will base it from the Mickey Mouse 2013 shorts. Thank you fof the ask!💕💕💕

Questions from here!

- Forgets to drink water and get dehydrated or even passes out?

Donald.

He would get to caught into whatever he is into, to take a moment to realise that he is super dehydrated.

Mickey always brings a spare bottle of water just in case Donald needs it!

- Hates the cold and always needs extra blankets/cuddles/hot drinks?

Donald!!

Especially after the events of “Duck the Halls” from the Mickey Mouse shorts. As soon as the weather gets chilly, he rapidly gets like a big sweater and hoodie with a huge soft scarf just in case.

Mickey notices it and tries to learn to make cute scarfs and sweaters for Donnie. His skills aren’t the best, but they are soft and that’s what matters! Donald really he appreciates the gesture a whole lot!

- Loves going to the beach?

Both of them! But Donald the most, because the beach is like his soothing place! He loves the calm sound of the waves, the warm sand and to be by the sea. It’s wonderful to him.

They usually go swimming together and collect seashells, and stay until the sun is completely set before returning home.

-Likes winter because of the cute, rugged up clothes their babe wears?

Mickey! He especially thinks winter clothing is so adorable and comfortable to wear!! And since Donald puts like 10 scarves and extra layers just to be warm, Mickey dies in the inside because he finds him absolutely adorable!♥♥♥

- Loves jumping on leaves to hear them crackle?

Mickey!!! Because it’s a fun thing to do!

-Has to be reminded to put on sunscreen?

Donald.

He is so used to worry and run after HDL, and his so focused on almost forcing them to put on sunscreen, that he forgets to put it on himself.

Mickey, of course reminds him!

-Can light a fire?

Both. But especially Donald when the universe isn’t against him.

- Doesn’t like wearing mittens because they can’t feel the others hand in theirs?

Donald. But he likes them too because it’s so warm and he doesn’t like his hands to get cold. It’s a conflicting feeling.

-tries every season themed drink Starbucks makes

Mickey because he thinks the theme drinks are so pretty and fun to try! Donald joins him, because indulging in that is not something he does often. Mickey helped him realise that having something good once in a while feels like a break from the daily chores and almost like a reward to himself! And it’s very satisfying.

-gets super into the holidays and decorating

Mickey!! Have you seen his house during “Duck the Halls.”??? Like that’s how I aspire to decorate my home one day!

When it’s the holidays (any holidays!!) he goes 10000%! Decorating is so much fun and there is never too much! 

Donald likes decorating too, he just ends up having little patience for it. So he always makes sure to invite Mickey to help decorating.

-does the Christmas shopping months ahead?

Mickey! He looks like the type who would organise everything 10 months ahead.

-Does the Christmas shopping last minute but still with love?

Donald, but really because of stress about the holidays.

The holidays are often a stressful time for him (even if he goes to the south, there is always the travel stuff to think of, like reservations, packing, tickets etc.).

His first priority is always to buy presents for the kids! And sometimes due to lack of time, he can’t get stuff for his friends. But it’s ok, because Mickey and his other friends understands wholeheartedly.

-gets scared by thunder and lightning?

Maybe Mickey when storms are really strong?!!

Donald at first thought that he was joking, but upon seeing that Mick is really scared of big storms, he tries his best to comfort him.

-dances in the rain?

Donald! He is a duck and I believe he must like the feeling of the rain(right?)! He only dances when Mickey comes to try it too though!

-owns at least two pairs of gum boots?

Probably Mickey, since Don doesn’t really wear shoes.

- never brings an umbrella?

Donald. The rain never bothered him.

(But even if it would, he would still somehow forget to bring one on rainy days and would remember to bring it on days that end up being sunny. That’s just his luck unfortunately.)

And I feel like Mickey would forget to bring one most of the time too. They are both umbrella-less losers, but it’s ok.

- tries to make their own ice cream/gelato and fails?

It sounds like something Donald would want to try and do. (and fail because of bad luck.) They both would be like the couple who buys a big supply of ice cream/gelato anyway, so if (or when) it fails, they got backup.

-refuses to let go of the others hand even in summer when they’re both sweaty and gross

Mickey! Donald whines a little about it, but deep inside, he adores it and it melts his heart.

Happy Father's Day to my favorite Single Mother, Donald Duck. I've put you in so many situations so I drew 'em all!
