As someone who originally followed for your Futurama art, I can't tell you how happy I am to see you posting about Tezuka's works, especially Hamegg!!

I personally ended up getting into his works after watching Futurama, and now it's nice to see another person who likes both as well✨

If you ever consider painting/drawing Tezuka's characters, I hope you have fun :)

I really like Marvelous Melmo. It's a short comic, but I like every story. I recently watched Don Dracula. This is a funny comic with black humor and adult jokes. There are some shadows of old Hollywood in it, such as Don Dracula, the protagonist. I think he may be influenced by Bela Lugosi.

Finally, our dear Hamegg, I have always liked Osamu Tezuka, but posted his work because I know Hamegg was inspired by Peter Lorre.

Finally, after a week of sketches and concepts, the Chocola Redesign.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with her OG design but I was reading the newly translated chapters then and thought "What if she looked more like her dad?" The anime does something similar but I wanted to try other ideas.

Philadelphia's one redeeming quality is that there's a venue with a Don Dracula mural.

Don Bluth was going to do an animated Dracula!? And Beauty and the Beast? F--k. Can someone please still do this? The man's eighty seven, bring him on as producer and story consultant and get this going. I'd watch the Hell out of an animated musical Dracula in the style of Hunchback. Hell, adapt the Frank Wildhorn Dracula musical. There, you have the script, just animate it.
