This Dollshe IM Hound was actually my doll for years, but I never really bothered to give him a proper face-up. Couple months ago I decided to sell him and the new owner requested a face-up for him. I really love how he turned out, maybe shouldn’t have skipped painting him for so long XD Anyway, his new owner loves him and I’m just glad he’s with someone who enjoys him more than I ever did. The pandemic messed up my plans for this person. Waiting patiently for a faceup: Dollshe Aramis on the Old Hound Body, in honey peach resin. As posing goes, he is effectively a boudoir doll: he lounges very persuasively, at least. He will stand, with a little work. I wouldn’t leave him on his own, though.

A while ago a person offered me to buy Hound head from them. I had some doubts because it's not my favourite sculpt, but the price was good and I bought it. When the head arrived, I was amazed how different it was from all the photos I've seen. I like him and his vibe a lot.

When I unpacked him, I've realized that he's going to be Datura - a character that I imagined while reading Ryu Murakami's 'Coin locker babies'.

Not sure what he is, not human for sure. He's dreaming of world destruction. And when he wakes up, the world will come to an end.

I thought Rosen was more fitting for this role, but I got Hound and he's Datura now.

"...it would be more accurate to suggest that the patient comes to resemble some new life form in human shape". Kind of out of context, but I like how this sounds.

I loved Property of the Uchiha's Cen in Dollshe Husky sculpt but she reshelled it to a Hound and I am so sad over it. I can't say anything because it's her rights but seriously :(

Johanicot jacket review / Dollshe DSAM & Pure try-on A lot of people seems to have troubles with shopping for their DSAMs or slim Dollshes in general. I have many dolls in the range of 65-70 cm and most of them wear casual simple fashion, so I often buy just to check and if it doesn’t fit, there is always another doll that can wear it. I want to share some of my recent experiences with dressing DSAM and other slim Dollshes.  Here’s the first one. I’ve been eyeing this jacket and other items too in the Johanicot shop on Etsy for a few months. When I made up my mind, the jacket was gone, but it wasn’t showing as sold. I messaged them and in a few days they refreshed the listing for me. Right now there are only two items avaiable and other two sold, but they had much more - I think they aren’t checking or relisting too often, because of poor sales - which is a shame, considering their interesting style. It reminds me of Sirin’s gorgeous things.  The jacket was $65. It’s made of soft jeans fabric and jersey black trimming, with embroidered sleeves and embroidered fish in the front. The sleeves are lined and all edges inside are serged. The zipper is sewn in perfectly. The size was described as “Saint old body” and it’s correct. As you can see on the faceless model, it fits him really well. Sorry, Leo’s face is currently at a faceup artist. His body is Dollshe Pure, very close in measurements to Old Hound body the jacket was made for.  It sits on him nicely unzipped and zipped and the sleeve isn’t too short even with hand bent. As for DSAM, it’s ok-ish. It suits my boy’s style, so I overlook the fact that it could be a bit longer. It looks much better unzippered, with a longer undershirt and the sleeve length is just passable.  But it works enough and he’s keeping it ;D That’s all for now. Next are two shirts from Blanching Queen, I just need to edit the photos. I also have Rhythmos body available for try-ons, is anyone interested?
