Limhwa Luna or Nakana Panya open eye to go with my Limwha To.m?? 🤔 (not the sales photo for the first luna pic, appologies to queenofsquids, the listing on the MP doesn’t have any wigged photos) I like the Panya sculpt most, but the NW body is more girlish looking vs the more grown up Limwha 57 body, idk... plus they’re both potentially a little short with the Limhwa 65 boy body, but it’s hard to get a sense, there aren’t a lot of pics.

idk i want a more mature looking girl doll or two to go with my bigger, more realistic guys (dollshe classic saint and rosen, limhwa tom, dollzone licht, leeke rihael dreaming mod on a 65cm body), and it’s strangely hard to find in the right not-too-pinheaded scale, esp if you think iplehouse girls won’t necessarily aesthetically fit in.

Blast from the past, December 2017. Same month I made a large order with DollShe that I had long written off as never going to happen. Well guess what, they’re on their way now?!? An Arsene on the Mystic Body and a Khan body, both in mango oriental honey resin. And a Mystic body in grey pure resin. All on their way now apparently, after 4.5 years. It makes me a bit sad actually because I really wanted those dolls a lot back then. I was obsessed with my big guy dolls and loved sewing for them so much. I wanted an Arsene soooo bad too. Kept letting them pass by on the 2nd hand market because I had one on order in the resin I wanted. 😑 I definitely would have bought so many more dolls from DollShe over these last four+ years it it hadn’t been for this because I adored their sculpting and quality so much. But I’m sorry, 4.5 years is just a no for me, I’m patient but not THAT patient 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anywho, these two lovelies were both casted by DollShe, a Twigling Eloy on a 28m Classic DollShe body and a Twigling Ingenue. I still have them both of course. ♥️ I was just starting to get a little more decent at sewing back then too. It feels a long time ago now though in my BJD hobby journey! BUT be aware that Dollshe changed some resin colors a few years ago, so my Fresh color is more creamy/yellow than the new color, which is apparently a lot more pink (according to images I've seen).

I bought an old 2007 Dollshe Husky body last night. Going to try my Doll Chateau Snowborn head on it. I have been searching for a girly body that would match the head style ever since I got it, but have not been satisfied with anything. So next up is the classic lanky body. About to have two string bean boys, when I always disliked that trend before 🤷🏻‍♀️

Finally, finally, finally! After two years of nakedness - but, seriously, that Dollshe 28M Classic body is NOT meant to be clothed (it is absolutely gorgeous, but apart from that, also hell to dress properly) - Arthur has clothes.

It took ages to overcome my procrastinative nature and my dread that this would all go Terribly Wrong, but on this doll I did almost everything myself. The only items I bought are his eyes (Eyeco 5mm) and Excalibur.

The only thing that I feel is missing is some jewellery. It would be brilliant if I could find him a ring, and I’ll definitely make him a necklace. Maybe a small pouch as an accessory would be nice too.

If you are wondering why he is wearing sandals (NOT a thing I found in my Late Roman reference material), it is simply because a) I received geta feet with my set, and therefore felt morally obliged to use them, and b) his feet are so wonderfully gorgeous. It’s already a shame that I covered up so much else of him; the least I can do is show off his hands and feet.

So! That’s my young King Arthur. I am ridiculously pleased with him right now XD.

Anyway, I'm fine, and I bought a secondhand Dollshe Craft Classic Maxi 28M David Kuncci, and the box is uhhh big. (Please ignore how messy my room is. If you couldn't tell by the frequent impulse purchases, I've had the depression lately.)

The seller did say the box was damaged, so I'm not mad about it but man, it's hard to get this box in and out of the sleeve, so I totally get why it's so beat up.

He came super, super secure! That left pic below is two full boxes of bubble wrap, which'll be useful for me, as long as I can keep the cats from chewing it.

Also he came with two pairs of shoes and a wig, which is really cool, because I have nothing for him. I don't think he'll use that wig because I don't love ringlets, but it's nice. I do need to find clothes for him, but the shoes are good to have.

Of course, I'm always pretty skeptical of buying used dolls, especially dolls that have been recast as much as Dollshe, but this one does have maker's marks on the doll and a slate of CoA's, so. That's about all that I can ask for, idk.

Also say hi to Luca again. She was with me the whole time I was unpacking my boy.

And finally: David Kuncci himself:

He's very sweet. This facemold isn't my personal favorite, so I'm still warming up to him. I'm also not amazingly in love with his eyebrows and might adjust his faceup a little.

According to the seller, the faceup was done by Laurie Lenz ANGELS (with or without spaces, with or without allcaps?), and he's one of the few dolls I've bought that actually has a faceup already, so I'm not in a hurry to remove it, just do a little adjusting. He's also got body blushing, which is very twee, but I'm not entirely sure which parts are blushing and which might be staining. I'll check when I get the time.

(Also his glue was agéd, so his magnets and headcap sticker had fallen off, so I glued them a little later, but that's what that tape is)

So overall: Wow he's big. Wow he was expensive. Wow where am I gonna get clothes for him?

Also I don't have a character for him yet. He really was an impulse buy. I think I might pick a Dragon Age character, since I've been doing Fallout charas lately. I dunno!

Presenting the DollShe order I waited 4.5 years for! 🤪 Finally received my DollShe order from 2017. It’s two dolls, 1.) a DollShe Arsene on 18M Mystic Body 70cm and 2.) a DollShe Khan Body (24M Classic Maxi Body) 72cm. They’re both in Mango Oriental Honey Resin. The Khan body was to hybrid a La Legende De Temps Ludwig head. They were shipped unstrung to save on shipping cost, so took me a few days to finally have time to string them.
