Have I ever said how much more I love tumblr layout for photos? man, I didn't even realise how much I have missed this...

Anyway, I bought these ballet shoes sometime ago and I had planned to use them for my Bimong body but they are just a tad too long... So my next order of business is to decide if I want to try to make them smaller by opening the backseam or if I just stuff the toes full... I mean not like I believe doll could stand with them unaided regardless... right?

DOLLSTOWN 18YR GIRL BODY ("oriental" resin) - $475 USD + SHIPPING

I purchased this body from the DOA marketplace in 2022. Those who follow me will know how much of an ordeal it was trying to get it delivered lol. In any case, I've decided to go a new direction with that doll idea, and so the body is for sale.

No damage, no mods, no staining, though she does have faint traces of an old body blush on her toes and in her belly button (toes pictured above - it's hard to photograph). She is from approx. 2019. I would prefer to ship her strung, but if I have to, I can probably take her apart. Please note that this body is Big (almost 70cm by itself, and just generally large). She does NOT have a COA.

OR-DOLL/NYX VAMPIRE KATRINA HEAD ("normal" resin) - $100 USD + SHIPPING

Bought this head new in 2018 through NewCloverSinging on ebay. I believe she is discontinued, as I cannot find her anywhere. There was a variation with more closed eyes, but this is the open-eyes version. Her headplate (the one inside her head) likes to pop out from time to time, but it can be glued back in easily. She comes with her COA, and I may even have her original box somewhere. If you'd like it, please let me know, and I will hunt for it.

No mods, no damage, no stains, never painted.

DREAM VALLEY ORDER HEAD + EARS ("dragon's blood red" resin) - $75 USD + SHIPPING

Purchased new in 2023 through BJDivas, came with my Chaos doll. He has visible "scratches" from sanding, and came this way from the company. They do not consider it damage. He will come with his wolf ears, as well as the magnets for them (not glued in). He also has his own COA, and a face protector.

Fawn is a Dollstown Seola, and was my first BJD. I bought her in 2014 from a dear online friend who was downsizing her collection. I'd been smitten with her from the moment I saw her on my friend's blog almost a year earlier and was lucky enough to bring her home. I was accustomed to fashion dolls with their (sometimes maniacally) cheerful faces, and her somber, thoughtful expression fascinated me.

She's from around 2006, so she's close to eighteen years old. I've redone her faceup twice, because the original sealant was starting to literally turn to goo when she arrived. The second time I did it, I was of course working outside, and on the very last coat, some little bit of something (probably form the bittersweet vine taking over the back porch got stuck in it under her right eye. There was no way to remove it without messing everything up, so - a touch of brown watercolor pencil and one final coat of sealant and she had a beauty mark.

She's literally sitting next to the computer right now giving me some serious Stevie Nicks vibes. I love this girl. <3

Sax before and after! She’s a recast Volks Pearl head on a Dollstown 18yr body. Dyed (and then painted) by me as the dye took strangely due to sanding. She’s a demon OC of mine. Still waiting on ears and a tail and a ponytail, but she looks so coooooool. Wig is Leekeworld from DDE, eyes are from ChronicArtDolls, the rest is all by me, including the horns. Excessive silliness below the cut, but suffice it to say, my collection has hit a truly absurd degree of perfect for me.

I recently got the last doll I ordered in (Moss), and am super excited cause she seems to perfectly fit into what was the only remaining gap in my collection. And, as the other doll I bought over the summer (Jameson) really served to pull my "main group" together, I've been feeling incredibly content with my bjds.

Things may change of course, I have a history of being a revolving door collector, but I honestly haven't felt any urge to buy new dolls at all since I ordered the last two.

Now for the fun, funny, and entirely coincidental reason my collection has reached Perfection. The Numbers. I'm terrible at math, but I love serendipitous number patterns. My absolute favorite numbers are 3, 4, 7, and 13.

- 3 each: anthro dolls, fantasy SDs, and MSDs

- 4: there's 16 in total, which makes for a perfect 4x4 grid, and there's four doll groups- anthros, fantasy SDs, modern SD+s, and MSDs

- 7 each: my main focus group is 7 (the modern SD+s), and, removing the stranger resin colors of orange and black, there are 7 dolls with fair resin and 7 with tan.

- 13: there's 13 humanoid dolls altogether!

Honestly, this group couldn't have worked out any better if I planned it, especially since hilariously serendipitous numbers coincided perfectly with my feeling wonderfully content with my crew. Super looking forward to just working on and enjoying all of them for a good while.

Anyway, I don’t have any pictures of Ria bald and naked on hand, unfortunately. I do have a few pictures that show the doll in full though if that’ll help? If you really need a bald/nude shot though, just let me know!

I personally find the proportions to be perfect. She really suits the larger body thanks to her big ol’ head. You also won’t need to modify the head or neck because it fits perfectly as is. I’ve seen Citron on a Zaoll body as well that looked really good, which is about the same size as the DT Elf.
