it really is crazy how dorian as a concept all stemmed from robbie saying he wanted to play a bard with stage fright bc he thought that would be interesting and funny and how he wanted to play a character that had a much different personality than him (hence why dorian is awkward and introverted bc robbie says he’s none of those things)

the fact that just wanting to play a silly bard turned into such a raw and honest portrayal of queerness and masculinity and i’d definitely say it very much veers into trans themes as well is INSANE especially for his first ever dnd character. i need to pick robbie's brain apart on dorian so bad dorian storm you will always be The character of all time and i love you

I was discussing some of the new leaks with friends, particularly this part from the "Role Playing Inspired" quote portion.

This seems to be a radio call from someone with the codename "Dungeon Master" to "Scout" (I believe the .aa is a typo)

It seems reasonable to me that given the dnd related nicknames, this is between the party. "Dungeon Master" is probably Mike and "Scout" is likely Lucas, but could be someone else.

And being Willbrained as I always am, I got to thinking what Will's codename would be in this situation. What nickname would you give to someone who plays as a wizard in DnD?

This could be why episode four is titled simply "Sorcerer" instead of "The Sorcerer" since it is not referring to a role, but a name.

Yang Jian was about to kill qiang but then GuanYin showed up and saved him from death, but since qiang still needed to be punished got robbing, and attacking a celestial, and murdering another GuanYin assigned Yang Jian to give qiang a punishment other than death since qiang is important for DESTINY

So that's where the river comes in 👍😋

Which is really not as grave as ppl who go "I wish I had friends to play this with but alas :(" about TTRPG stuff in general bc 1) I have a group I play with! It's just Pathfinder 2e instead and 2) said group came together from the playtesters of the Warframe D&D Project. I Playtested For That Project. I Got To Play It Already

I have a really bad feeling that Moonpaw is the kid of Night and Sun. There are no pregnant she cats rn and the name would align the sky theme of their names. Not to mention the ENTIRE CHAPTER where Sun and Night just talked about having babies before Breezey-P told them to cut it out.

I don't really enjoy NightSun, but it's not something that I hate either. So I wouldn't mind if they had kits at some point. I'd prefer they didn't since Nightheart is so young and the Clan is SO bloated, but... meh.

Plus, Sun and Night having a kid named Moon is, admittedly, super cute lmao. I will be charitable if an idea makes me smile.

What would bug me more is that we're stuck in ThunderClan again. I'm so very tired of being forced to split the POV between the plot and ThunderClan's Contractually Obligated Screentime.

I know we already got our lucky break with an all female POV cast (so it seems) but MAYBE we can double up with our first arc without a ThunderClan perspective too.
