The Lunchbox a.k.a. The Inherent Romanticism of Little Gestures

Jiwon blinked owlishly at the dining table. Before him sat typical south asian breakfast setup-- black cardamom chai guarded under a tea cozy, warm and inviting deep fried bread, sunflower seed pudding and curried chickpeas. It was the same breakfast you normally made for him before he head of to work, and Jiwon always appreciated the effort as you two had only been married for a month. But the quiet distruptor of the breakfast-- a yellow Lunchbox-- couldn't be ignored anymore. Was this the famed lunchbox all those male love interests in Bollywood movies proudly carried to work? What did you pack inside it? Should Jiwon peek now or allow to remain a surprise?

Jiwon turned at the sound of you padding into the room, but the feeling of heat rising up the back of his neck compelled him to finish his breakfast and escape as soon as possible. He couldn't understand why such a simple gesture moved him so much. Maybe Jiwon just loved everything you did.

The rain had glued his bangs to forehead, and his cheeks were rosy from the cold. As a harsh gust of wind rushed past you, Kangsu must've decided it's time to find shelter after all, as he gently took you in his arms and helped you down.

So it's a thought I had a giggle about. Timeline in which Alexsandr Kallus technically follows orders, every single one. But if he doesn't agree with the orders, he... comes up with creative ways of following them lmaooooo

Example I was thinking on that got pointed out wouldn't be Canon, but is still funny.

During the Siege of Lasan, Kallus not agreeing with how the empire wants it to go down, but will still follow orders.

He does as told and he uses a t-17.

But..

He solely uses it as a melee weapon. Not once does he use it for its intended purpose. So there he is, in the middle of a battlefield, using this highly destructive piece of equipment as a fucking sword or staff.

Imagine how that conversation with his superiors went.

He gets told as they're pulling up into Lasan's orbit what weapons they will be using.

My all-time favorite body wash that the entire family can use, even kids, is the Aleavia Body Cleanse.Not only do I love this for the obvious: body cleansing, but I also use this to shave, clean my makeup brushes, and sometimes even use it as a shampoo. And because our scalp is so large, you really want to make sure you are using a clean shampoo + conditioner.My all-time favorite shampoo is the Rahua Volume as it keeps my fine hair light and bouncy and never weighed down. After I shampoo, I then condition from my ears down, never the scalp unless I am using it as a scalp treatment, with the Rahua Volume or Under Luna Revive conditioner. This stuff is what dreams are made of, as it leaves my hair so soft, moisturized + smelling like fresh jasmine. Synthetic ScentsOne of the worst products you can invite into your home is those that contain hormone-disrupting, synthetic fragrances, in fact, it is the #1 most toxic item to bring into the home for our pets. Whether you are still using conventional perfume, cleaning products, laundry detergents, air fresheners, candles (a better choice here), or Febreeze, a quick way to clean up your home significantly is by simply removing it all. Hormone-disrupting chemicals are invisible, which leads many to believe there is no damage, but did you know that they are harming our fertility at an alarming rate? Environmental and reproductive epidemiologist Shanna Swan predicts sperm counts could reach zero by 2045 thanks to hormone-disrupting chemicals that are “everywhere.” Where would we be left without sperm? Lessons Learned from Introduction to Entrepreneurial Mind

During the class, I learned about how important entrepreneurs are to our economy, inspired by economist Joseph Schumpeter's views. He sees entrepreneurs as key to driving social and economic progress, driven by their passion for creating, making things, reaching goals, and succeeding.

Entrepreneurs are individuals with fresh and innovative ideas. They take the lead in starting new businesses, often paving the way in the business world. In essence, entrepreneurs drive economic growth by introducing new concepts and businesses, making significant contributions to society's advancement and prosperity.

As we talk about disruptive innovation, I found the this idea as fascinating because of its power to bring about big changes. Disruptive Innovation starts by meeting basic needs in a low-cost market segment. It gradually improves and expands, eventually displacing established competitors by offering better features and attracting more customers.

Example cases of distruptors used by our instructor:

1. Uber changed the taxi industry by offering a more convenient and affordable option through its ride-hailing app.

2. Netflix changed entertainment by switching from DVDs to streaming, offering a huge collection of movies and TV shows you can watch anytime, anywhere.

At the end of the lesson, I learned that entrepreneurship isn't taught like other subjects with textbooks and strict rules. It's about learning by doing and dealing with real-life problems. Instead of just studying theories, entrepreneurs learn through hands-on experience and trial and error, which helps them develop skills like creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving.

Eventually, the Abomination charged, giving her a chance to do some actual damage. Her phaser was useless, but the Romulan distruptor Will had snuck her was much more powerful.

The first shot missed, vaporizing a chitauri foot soldier right in front of the others.

The next shots didn't. The Abomination wasn't dying, but each shot caused it to roar in agony as his flesh vaporized and regenerated over and over.

"You. Do NOT. TOUCH. MY. GIRLFRIEND!"

This planet Jason was on was once thriving world. A planet full of trees, water, animals, and people. All who lived peacefully on the planet, until a war broke out in this sector. This left the planet in ruins, all of its resources plundered, and its people nearly wiped out. Centuries have passed and the planet has been nearly forgotten.

Jason was told the planet was under the control of a group called the Klingons. He didn’t think too much about it and knew he would be out of here before they found out or one of their allies.

He walks over towards his prize. A box containing a valuable item that he knew would come in for a pretty penny…or whatever currency the people of this universe use. He walks over and begins to disable any security systems around, before getting his prize. He wipes away the dirt from it, opens it, and smiles when he saw what’s inside.

“Just like the buyer said,” Jason whispered before putting the box in his bag.

I'm sure I mentioned this before but if I hadn't if the next Ratchet & Clank game is going to fully take place in the Lombax Dimension, then there shouldn't be any (or at least not many) older weapons in the game's arsenal.

Along with the usual "too many weapons are overused in the series" topic fans have pointed out and luckily stopped a bit in Rift Apart, a game that takes place in a entirely different universe with different rules and run by great inventors could lead to the most creative weapons in the series yet, especially with the new adaptive trigger feature the PS5 controller which is a topic for a later day.

Again I would be okay with a FEW exceptions, like this would be the perfect excuse to bring back Lombax/Lombax inspired weapons from the series like the Alpha Distruptor (which I've stated before is a perfect weapon to utilize the adaptive trigger feature) and the Cryomine Glove. Maybe the Doppelbanger from All 4 One could be in the game as well since its fitting for a game about Lombaxes, plus I could see an unlockable cheat where you could customize it to look like either Ratchet or Rivet.

I'd also be okay with the starting weapons being the Burst Pistol and Shatterbomb as at least they are new and different from the Combuster and Fusion Grenade.

Okay but you have opened my mind and I’m now imagining that they first meet at the Vulcan monastery

They both immediately pull out their phase pistol/distruptor and aim for each other

There’s a brief moment of eye contact where it’s unclear which one of them is gonna shoot first

And then Shran gives a half scoff half smirk and says something along the lines of “I like this pinkskin” and it’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship

And then they stun the shit out of each other

another post reminded me how much i love the shran & malcolm duo. like, they never really interact in canon, but listen. listen. they're both short angry men with a finger on the trigger CONSTANTLY. don't tell me they wouldn't be besties.

Couple of things, I really liked how this series portrayed Star-Spangled Kid, or Sly. He acted totally like I’d imagine from the character. That is, before we find out Sly is actually someone else pretending to be him. Totally a buzzkill for me.

The other thing is, Disruptor reminds me of Marvel’s Delilah from the 90s Spider-Man comics. Similar names, similar costumes right down to the colors. Disruptor also has that unrequited love thing going on with Clock King similar to how Delilah loved the ineffectual Rose.
