Hurt Jaskier Geralt/Jaskier

Seconds after Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer go through the portal to take Voleth Meir back to her home world, a pillar falls in the great hall, Jaskier sees it falling and pushes Vesemir out of the way, saving his life but is crushed by the pillar himself.

With Yennefer's magic only just returned to her, she can only stabalize his injuries not heal them fully, the Witcher's rally round to keep Jaskier comfortable and help him adjust to a very different life. Geralt battles with his guilt for abandoning Jaskier on the mountain and bringing him to Kaer Morhen leading to his injuries while trying to deal with his feelings for the Bard.

Whether or not Jaskier's injuries are permanent or if they get healed is up to the writer.

AU where Geralt gets his wish when he asks life to take Jaskier off his hands: Geralt gets isekai'd to an AU where Jaskier never met him and thus didn't spend 20 years cleaning his reputation and those of other witchers/nonhumans by extension

some headcanon highlights of this AU (feel free to use or discard):

this world is Awful, the way they treat Witchers in general (and Geralt in particular) is HELLA bad. Refused service and entrance in more than half the towns he enters and being paid poorly if he gets paid at all, people terrified and hateful towards him

He finds out Pavetta jumped off a tower after her mother had Duny killed (guess you're finally free of that child surprise, Geralt...)

Calanthe has become an unhinged warmonger having nothing to lose, particularly against elves, who are even more decimated than usual

Eskel was killed as result of witcher propaganda getting MUCH worse after the raise of the white flame + the whole Blaviken thing

Vesemir is a shadow of himself, living alone in Kaer Morhen, not having talked to anyone for years

Lambert moved permanently with the cat caravan and blames Geralt for Eskel's death

less witchers in general (with a lot having died or retired since continuing in the current conditions is unsustainable) means a lot more monsters, particularly Necrophages and Wraiths

Yen is disfigured and severally weakened/borderline disabled after getting majorly cursed from eating that infant dragon's heart + several botched attempts at making it better (maybe they can use the djinn to fix the timeline?)

"May I have this dance?" Eskel asked offering Ciri a hand, causing her to stop bobbing around in her seat to the song Jaskier was currently debuting for them.

"Yes!" She cried out, grabbing the proffered hand in both of hers to drag the large Witcher to the open space behind them, the adults smiling and chuckling at her enthusiasm. Geralt and Yennefer were the next two to get up and join them after a wordless conversation which seemed to involve many head tilts and eyebrow raises.

Lambert raised his own in surprise when Aiden stood and gave him a borderline mocking bow,

"How about it?"

Lambert swallowed down his mouthful of White Gull. He wasn't anywhere near drunk enough for this (he wasn't even tipsy), but everyone else looked to be having fun. Yennefer and Geralt seemed to be treating it like it was some sort of courtly affair whilst Ciri was balancing on Eskel's feet, her delicate, tiny hands looking comically adorable in the Witchers huge paws.

"Sure, why not." He slapped his own hand down into Aiden's open palm, "But no way am I letting you lead."

"Do you know the steps?"

Lambert shook his head no as they made their way over to the others. It was a song Jaskier had come up with three days ago, there weren't any steps.

"Then who says anybody has to lead?"

Give them a couple of swords and it was almost like they were working a job together - moving completely in synch, able to predict the others next move without so much as a glance as they stepped and twirled. Of course, their jobs didn't usually require this much touching. Even when sparring, any holds were for effectiveness - disable your opponent as quickly as possible - they had a purpose to them. These holds...very much did not.

There was absolutely no reason for Lambert's hand to linger on Aiden's side, but linger it did, feeling the muscles flexing as the Cat moved. Aiden's own hands were resting on Lambert's biceps, feeling the heat of the others skin through the thin shirt - had the Wolf's arms always been this toned?

The outside of their thighs momentarily brushing together as they side stepped one another felt far more intimate than the action warranted before Lambert pulled Aiden into a spin, catching the Cat around his waist as he pulled him towards him. Aiden's hands found a new home on Lambert's shoulders and he was suddenly struck with the urge to wrap his arms around the Wolf's neck to bring him that little bit closer. He couldn't be sure, but for a moment it felt like Lambert somewhat hesitantly caressed his hip bones as he adjusted his hold before lifting Aiden off the ground and spinning them both.

Their bodies sliding together was a new form of torture as Lambert set him back down, their chests heaving despite the dance being nowhere near rigourous enough to warrant it. Both of them hyper aware of their hands on one another's hips but neither one pulling away.

"Uncle Lambert, dance with me!" Ciri yelled, breaking the moment as she crashed into his legs, grinning up at him. Neither of them knew when exactly Jaskier had started a new song but it definitely wasn't the one they'd started dancing to.

"Sure thing, Kid." He answered, not taking his eyes off Aiden until his niece started tugging at his sleeve impatiently.

"Save a dance for me, Princess." Aiden said, ruffling her hair, "I'm going to grab a drink, I think."

He moved back to his original seat and filled his glass to the brim from the jug of Gull before downing half of it, ignoring the bards too knowing smirk as he tried not to think about how Lambert holding him like that would feel without the barrier of clothing.

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? A kingsman fic called Went Down to the River and Prayed, Merlin was a kelpie and it was just a grim fic and the ending was happy/sad

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? That's all of them - I write fic for the happy fluffy feelings

Do You Get Hate on Fics? Sometimes yeah, less since I archive locked. People yelling at me that I don't edit enough, one time I wrote a character wrong because I didn't give them enough boobs, one person really really hated it when I wrote that Jaskier was a virgin when he was 20, one person felt I was incredibly ableist on a story where a character was trying to come to terms with new disability.

Do You Write Smut? Why yes, yes I do. 194 of that 394 are rated M or E for the sex

Huh there was no question 11 in @sulkybender post so I'll make one up...Do you write archive warnings? Not a lot, never MCD, sometimes underage just because writing teen fictional characters

Have you ever had a fic translated? A lot, chinese, russian, few other languages I think? It is always a huge compliment to me, and as long as I am credited as the original author I am fine with translations.

Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes with the incredible @thenerdyindividual we have written a couple fics together and they are great fics!

Weekly Roundup: 18th November - 24th November

Hey hey all (sorry were late againm but at least its only 1 day not 4 months .... lol)

So, I have written 5,495 words this week, which isnt a whole lot, but ut has made me hit my 50,000 word goal this month so WHOOP!!! Im at 51,505 words for November at the moment. I also finished another 2 wips, so of my 63 wips, I have finished 11 and im feeling pretty proud tbh.

But, as always, here are the fic recs for others first!

Summary: The four lives of Julian Alfred Pankratz: noble, sex slave, soulmate, bard.

Summary: Jaskier saves the Warlord's daughter. Despite his family ties, he's allowed to stay in Kaer Morhen while he recovers from his injuries. Eventually, it becomes home.

No Grave Can Hold My Body Down @chaoticangel666 (Bilbo/Thorin, get your tissues ready!)

Summary: Bilbo returns to The Shire after the Battle of the Five Armies. He might be going insane though, because why does the ghost of Thorin Oakenshield keep showing up when he least expects it?

Follows the events from the end of The Hobbit until the end of The Lord of the Rings.

Summary: On his first day working at the queerest zoo in the Australian outback, Remus meets Sirius, whose smile is bright enough to knock him over. Sirius doesn’t speak aloud, but that doesn’t stop either of them from falling in love.

A soft romance about the value of slowing down enough to listen to each other and watch the sun rise.

I Was Pledged to You, To You I Pledge Myself - anarchycox - Wiedźmin | The Witcher (Geralt/Jaskier, alternate first meeting, its just cute asf tbh)

Summary: When he is four, Jaskier escapes out his window to avoid a boring family dinner where his cousin was getting betrothed to someone. He just wanted to hear the frogs. Frogs sound neat.

That daring escape, and the rescue that it required changed his whole fate, because he was the one who ended up betrothed to a witcher - the plan to marry when he was 20. He didn't really care he got to hear the frogs croak, what did he care about this Geralt of Rivia?

As he grows up though, he ends up caring a great deal.

Scenes from Jaskier's life of meeting every witcher but his betrothed, until one day in a shitty tavern, he finally meets Geralt.

ruffled - PenAndInkPrincess - Wiedźmin | The Witcher (Geralt/Jaskier, Fae Jaskier au)

Summary: Supper secured and stuffed away in his trousers, he looks up to find the silver-haired stranger in the corner, the one person who hadn’t heckled him. The man is objectively gorgeous, with fascinating hair and a body that makes Jaskier’s mouth water a little.

Oh yes, he decides quickly, he will be climbing this stranger like a tree.

He’s a little wrong-footed when he works out that the stranger is a witcher with big scary swords Jaskier’s heard horror stories about, but after a quick moment of thought, he also thinks about how very many things the fae elders have been wrong about all his life and decides to ignore them once again. The witcher–Geralt of supposedly Rivia, even though Jaskier can tell from his accent that that’s a lie–tries to get rid of him, but Jaskier is nothing if he’s not determined, and he’s simply too damn interested to get scared off easily.

The witcher has clearly not realized that Jaskier is something to be hunted, and Jaskier, well, he’s never excelled at silly things like self-preservation.

The Night I Couldn't Stay Beside You - Lucigoo89 - Harry Potter (Remus & Hope, please mind the tags, especially the MCD and grief ones!)

Summary: Its the full moon again. Remus hates each and every one of them, buy especially this one as he looks down a this mother and can do nothing but hope she will still be there when the monster leaves him gain for another month.

All he can do is hope that she stays, thats all he wants, all he will beg and plead and pray for, his mum to still be here with him when he awakens with the moonset.

And last but not least

Finding my fate in the sensory room - Lucigoo89 - Harry Potter (Sirius/Remus, it is a fic for a very dear friend of mine but I hope you all enjoy it to)

Summary: Remus is tired, exhausted more like and so he takes his hyper 4 year old into the empty sensory room to have alittle bit of peace and quiet.

Unbeknownst to Remus, that one action, on that one specific day, would change four lives for the better.

Yes! I respond to basically every comment I get, even if all I can usually manage is some variation of "sfkgjhsfkgj thank you!!" because I have no idea how to take praise but I want the commenter to know they mean the world to me

Ooooooooof uhhhhh probably the little Detroit: Become Human ficlet I did called I Will Go Down. TW for suicide XD But there are a lot of angsty fics on there so who knows lmao

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Most of my fics end pretty bittersweet but I think Hope (Doctor Who) is one of my happiest endings <3

8. Do you get hate on fics?

No, surprisingly! My fics don't usually have much reach tbf. The only time I got anything close to "hate" was an ableist saying my disabled Dragon Age Inquisition OC is unrealistic to the setting and would likely be "with their clan or dead".

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Sometimes! Usually it's abstract (a la Holy, Holy, Holy) or porn with feelings (a la A Tale of Yearning) but I've been known to indulge in a lil PWP on occasion

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Just one! I have an ongoing Torchwood x Quantum Leap crossover 'verse thanks to @chaos-of-the-endless 😂 I also wrote a Baldur's Gate x Dead by Daylight AU recently!

Family Reunion :( I've been trying to write it for,,,, basically as long as I've been writing but I can never finish it and then years pass and I hate it and think it's cringe and want to start it from scratch, rinse and repeat)

16. What are your writing strengths?

Taking an impulsive headcanon and running with it. I have so many ficlets just because I thought of a headcanon and NEEDED to put it to the page. I also enjoy angst and hurt/comfort, things that expand on already existing angst and make it WORSE :3

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

In fic writing it's definitely description. I tend to get carried away in dialogue and forget to Say Other Stuff but I think I have a good handle on it now. That and smut, I enjoy writing it but I have to be either In The Mood or shut off my brain so I don't cringe so hard I delete it all bc I struggle with explicit content and get embarassed when things I'm writing are at all Kinky bc I have a crippling fear of judgement

18. Thoughts on dialogue in another language for a fic?

As a reader I enjoy it! As a writer, just be careful, stick to one or two words rather than full dialogue if you don't have the time or energy to deep-google that shit

So, clearly I have been on a Tom Sturridge kick, and I do really want to connect with all the Tom Sturridge gurlies out there to gush over how beautiful and amazing he is, but I feel like maybe I should branch out some to the other communities I would love to connect with on here.

I am a 31 year old leftist (BLM, Pro-Choice, LGBTQ+, Eat The Rich, Disability Visibility/Rights, etc...) non-binary demi-girl person from the Pacific Northwest in the States. I am a practicing pagan witch tarot reader. I am diagnosed with ADHD but I am pretty damn sure I have autism as well. I am no contact with my parents, well, most of my family, because I am the black sheep of the family and they are all pretty conservative and religious.

My interests of course range from various fandoms and celebs to tarot a whimsigoth aesthetics. I love most types of music, but my main jams have been 80's sounding dark synth music and Sleep Token.

My favorite film is Labyrinth and David Bowie is my hero. May he rest in peace.

I have studied tarot pretty intensely and that was my main hyper-focus before I kinda let my obsession with Tom Sturridge take over. I do offer tarot readings for reasonable $. I don't read tarot as if it is fortune-telling though, I use it more as a therapy tool, a spicy ink blot test if you will. Anyway, yeah, I read tarot on the side.

The various communities I would love to connect with more on here are:

The Tom Sturridge community, which of course includes the Sandman community and all of Tom's other films and shows too.

The Joey Batey, Jaskier, and The Amazing Devil community as I love Joey and his music and he is just a cinnamon role of a man who must be protected at all costs.

I also follow the Florence + the Machine community as she is the new Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac and just an incredible witchy woman in her own right.

Adam Driver because Kylo Ren did things to me that I was not ready for when TFA came out in 2015 and I haven't been the same since. I am a Reylo fan, but I love Kylo more than Rey. And yes, I call him Kylo as that is his chosen name and we use chosen names here.

And it is kinda connected so I will list them together; I want to connect more with the witch, pagan, tarot, goth and whimigoth communities.

I just wanna gush over fandoms, music, aesthetics, tarot and all that with others. And I need a place to vent my thoughts and jot down fanfic ideas that my ADHD brain will never be able to write to completion, lolz. It was during her last class when Jaskier heard the familiar sound of Geraldine's motorbike outside. Jaskier peered out the window, and indeed, there she was, unmounting her bike. Jaskier swallowed heavily at the sight of Geraldine's leather pants pulling tight over her firm, shapely bum. Geraldine took off her helmet and shook out her unruly silver hair. Jaskier stared at her, transfixed.

"Miss Pankratz?"

Blinking rapidly, Jaskier returned from her Geraldine-induced bleary state and turned back to her students, who stared at her in confusion, clarinets still in hand.

"Ah, sorry," Jaskier mumbled. "Got a little distracted. Eh, we still have like ten minutes left, right? How about I let you go earlier today?"

Naturally, her students didn't seem to mind. Jaskier would have yelled at them to treat their instruments with a bit more respect instead of shoving them in their bags so carelessly any other time, but her brain was too occupied with Geraldine. Which was a problem, since she's just told herself she would stop looking at her that way- as something she could never be.

Geraldine waited until the last student left the classroom then stepped inside with a small, cautious smile. The sight of her shifting from one foot to the other, teeth pulling on her lower lip nervously reminded Jaskier so much of the day she came there to ask Jaskier to play matchmaker. Jaskier sighed at the memory.

"Hey," Geraldine greeted her softly. "You're done for today?"

"Yeah. Had to send them home a little earlier, you know how fidgety kids can get."

Geraldine hummed. She stared down at her shoes as she crossed her arms over her chest. The frown between her brows deepened. Jaskier resisted the urge to kiss it off her face.

"Is something wrong?" Jaskier asked softly. "Did you... speak to Yennefer?"

"Not much," Geraldine admitted. "She's being a little distant, again."

"I'm sorry about that."

"Look," Geraldine finally lifted her head to look into Jaskier's eyes, "can we talk?"

"This sounds alarming," Jaskier admitted with a chuckle. "Did someone actually die this time?"

"What?"

"Forget it," Jaskier waved a dismissive hand. "How about we meet up at my place? I don't feel like having a clearly distressing conversation in my classroom, again."

Geraldine nodded. She raised a helmet, and Jaskier couldn't help but grin when she realized it was the helmet that Geraldine always lent her when she whined to her about wanting to ride her motorcycle. It was pink with tiny kittens on it, and Geraldine bought it specifically for her.

"I was gonna take you, anyway," Geraldine told her. She reached for Jaskier's hand. When their fingers touched, Jaskier's heart jumped inside her chest, filled with unnecessary, stupid hope. Her cheeks felt warm as Geraldine led her outside by the hand.

Having to sit behind Geraldine on her bike and wrapping her arms around her firm middle certainly wasn't helping Jaskier on her mission of forgetting about her feelings for her friend. Yet, she couldn't resist putting her chin up on her shoulder as they rode away.

Once they were inside Jaskier's flat, Geraldine's nerves seemed to return. She sat stiffly on Jaskier's couch, fiddling with one of Jaskier's stuffed animals. She twisted the soft little turtle in her hands, her knees bouncing nervously all the while. Jaskier dreaded the talk that was ahead of them.

"What is it?" She asked as she sat next to Geraldine. "You're scaring me."

"I don't know how to tell you," Geraldine admitted. She petted the plush turtle's head with a sigh. "I wish I was like you."

"Like me?"

"More communicative. You always say what's on your mind."

"Not always," Jaskier whispered. If that were true, she would have confessed her feelings to Geraldine already, but she was too chickenshit to do that.

"Still. You're better at things like that than I am."

"It's okay, Geraldine. Take your time."

Geraldine took a deep breath. She only looked at Jaskier from the corner of her eye as she said, "I'm in love with Yennefer."

It wasn't a surprise, obviously. Geraldine has been head over heels for that woman since she's first laid eyes on her, but somehow, Jaskier's chest still tightened like someone just stepped on her ribcage. It was one thing to draw conclusions from looking at her behavior, and another one to actually hear the words leave her mouth. And while this was exactly why Jaskier decided she would try and accept her place as only a friend, it still broke her heart, just a little bit.

And as messed up as it was, she didn't only hate hearing this because this meant she officially lost Geraldine, but because she lost Yennefer, too.

She forced a smile onto her face as she patted Geraldine's knee.

"I know that, you big sap. And I'm pretty sure she feels the same way. Seems like my matchmaking is paying off, eh?"

She was utterly confused by the wounded look Geraldine gave her.

"I don't know," she said quietly, "I don't know if she feels the same. She's acting weird again. Like, since our last date. Or whatever it even was."

"Yeah, she has a tendency to do that. But, since you managed to say the magic words out loud to me, now you just have to say them to her as well, and I'm sure the ice will break."

"Maybe," Geraldine bit her lip. She looked at Jaskier, and was that a blush on her cheeks?

"My family said I should be more honest about my feelings. That communication is the key."

"Yeah, well, you're getting there," Jaskier smiled. "Look at you, Miss I never want a relationship. You're ready to marry Yennefer already!"

"This isn't just about Yennefer."

Jaskier raised an eyebrow in question. "What do you mean this isn't just about her?"

Geraldine was never quite good with eye contact - it was rare she held it up for more than a few seconds. But now, she looked deeply into Jaskier's eyes, so deeply in fact, that it suddenly felt like she was staring right into her soul. The air was heavy around them. Jaskier felt short of oxygen.

"I don't want to lose you," Geraldine told her, her voice honest, pained. "I wouldn't survive if I did."

"Hey," Jaskier said softly as she reached for her hand, squeezing it gently. "You could never lose me. Not in this lifetime, that's for sure."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Okay, now you're really scaring me," Jaskier admitted, her heart hammering inside her chest nervously. "Geraldine, please, tell me what's wrong."

Geraldine swallowed audibly. She stared at Jaskier again, before her eyes flickered to her lips - and stayed there. Jaskier was about to ask what was wrong, again, but she never had the chance as Geraldine moved towards her, and pressed her lips against Jaskier's.

For a second, Jaskier was certain she died and went to Heaven, or at least was experiencing a beautiful dream. Because this couldn't have been real, that Geraldine's slightly chapped but still so soft lips were on hers, that her strong hands where on her thighs. There was no way she tasted coffee on Geraldine's breath, and she felt her hair tickling her face.

The memories of that one kiss from all those years ago flooded Jaskier's brain. She never would have thought she would ever experience it again, that their sloppy, drunk make-out session would repeat itself. But here they were, kissing on her couch with Jaskier's stupid plush turtle trapped between them, and they were sober this time.

Jaskier's hands flew up to tangle in Geraldine's hair, pulling her closer, holding on desperately. She may have whimpered into the kiss when Geraldine gently squeezed her leg. This was everything Jaskier wanted, what she's been craving for years, and she got it. Her dream came true.

So why did she suddenly pull away then, breaking the kiss with a horrified gasp?

It was because that dreamy teenage-like crush was smothered by logic, at last. Because Jaskier did promise herself she would extract herself from the Geraldine-Yennefer equation, and now here she was, kissing Geraldine back. That kiss... as good as it was, it couldn't be real. Because Geraldine just confessed to her that she was in love with Yennefer, so the only reason she kissed Jaskier was because she was looking for a stand-in. Geraldine even said it herself that she wasn't sure of Yennefer's intentions since she was acting so distant again, so she must have kissed Jaskier because her highly-strung emotions made her react irrationally.

"This is a mistake," Jaskier whispered, her voice choked up as frustrated tears started welling in her eyes. "I should not come between you two."

"Jaskier," Geraldine's voice was full of pain, and if Jaskier dared to look into her eyes, she would have probably seen they were too. "I don't think you understand..."

"No, no, I understand just right," Jaskier sniffled. "You're not sure Yennefer feels the same way, so you need something to take your mind off of her."

"What? That's not why I..."

"We promised each other we wouldn't repeat last time," Jaskier continued quietly, "that kiss. It was good. And this was good, too, but... you and Yennefer, you belong together. I don't fit into that picture."

She stood abruptly from the couch, knocking the plush turtle off. It rolled on the floor, staring up at her with a grin that now seemed mocking. Jaskier suddenly wanted to kick it.

"Jaskier," Geraldine whispered, "please, I'm trying to..."

"Get over Yennefer, I know. But you don't have to. I'm sure she feels the same way. Go, tell her. It's time for you to be honest."

"Jaskier..."

"Actually," Jaskier bit down on her lip hard, trying to will the ugly sobs to stay inside, "can you leave now? I forgot I have this, uh, important stuff to do. I'll text you later."

She barely saw Geraldine leaving through the tears. She heard her muttering something under her breath, then the door closing.

Jaskier looked down on the plush turtle on the floor. Tears streamed down her face as she gave in to the urge and kicked it as hard as she could, sending it flying over to the other side of the room.

Then, she sat down on the floor and started sobbing harder than she's ever done before.

She was such a pretty girl, and very eager, too. Her name was Chiara, if Yennefer remembered right. She smelled like vanilla and her hair was soft beneath Yennefer's fingers. Her sighs against Yennefer's lips sounded so lovely.

Her body was gorgeous, too, and she looked so good crawling over her on the bed with that teasing smirk. It was even more perfect when she dipped between Yennefer's spread legs, at last.

She was also very good with her tongue.

Yet, it was somehow all wrong. When Yennefer looked down on Chiara moving between her legs, she imagined silver hair, then brown. She imagined Geraldine's soft grunts and Jaskier's needy whimpers. Somehow, that way, the whole experience was a lot better. Yennefer closed her eyes and let the fantasy take her away, into Geraldine and Jaskier's arms, where her heart kept pushing her to.

She swore under her breath, hands fisted in the sheets. Not from the pleasure like she hoped, but from the sheer irritation she felt.

Yennefer was a strong-willed woman. If she put her mind to something, she would go through with it, no matter what.

So why couldn't she forget about those two morons? Why did they consume her every thought, why didn't they let her move on?

She looked down on Chiara again, and sighed.

Maybe she didn't have the ability to move on, but she could at least try and pretend to.

Hi my friend,

I'm watching the blue eyed Samurai right now - which I can highly recommend it's really cool drawn (I'm only 3 Episodes in right now but it also only has 8) and interesting characters many with disabilities - anyways the Main character is followed by another Guy and they have a bit Geralt (blue eyed Samurai) and Jaskier (Guy who follows them who is always humming and wants to Help) vibes.

Their Resolution to keep the guy from following them? Buying him three nights in a Brothel🤣 now I can't Stop thinking about Geralt doing the same at the beginning when he still tries to get rid of Jaskier (yeah I know He doesn't have that kind of Money, but still...)

I started that show too! I have only watched one (two?) eps but yes the dynamic is there, the loner warrior and the optimistic sweet guy who just wants to leave his life and dedicate himself to the warrior.

Honestly I would have preferred Geralt buy Jaskier nights in a brothel than punch him! Not only would it have been nicer, it would have been far more effective! (yes I'm still bitter about that lmao)
