I’m in a lot of pain and am very sick but I got around to some doodling and color practice, figured I could show you beans (and apologize for being so absent )

I think I'm gonna start posting some older art on here that I still like.

So here's my headcanon on Papyrus giving Flowey the bow from the alarm clock dialogue! ^>^

As always further rambles under the cut!

Made this back in 2021, and I still like it a lot. Don't have much time or energy these days since school's been killing me but I certainly miss drawing comics. Figuring out a format was always one of the more fun parts of it all...

Anyway, I've always loved Flowey and Papyrus's friendship. I have a lot of thoughts about them as my first and second favorite UT characters, respectively, lol.

Also I think Papyrus's forgiving nature and belief that anyone can improve even if they themselves don't believe they can is a big reason why Flowey seems to gravitate to him. Despite all of Flowey's posturing, he clearly cares about the guy because:

He keeps the bow

Why else would Flowey be the only person to bother remembering Papyrus favorite food?

Flowey uses his knowledge of the timeline to help Papyrus with predictions and advice. Not to mention, cares enough to encourage and flatter him.

Flowey hardly compliments anyone, if at all, and he still calls Papyrus one of the better characters

Spinosaurus hunting in the shallows, with its colorful sail and throat pouch on display. There’s some debate over whether Spinosaurus was bipedal or quadrupedal, but most amateur paleoartists agree it would have kept all of its claws out of sight where I don’t have to draw them

The spirit of my long dead dinosaur ancestors possesed me, and for the past 4 days, I was drawing dinosaurs...

(I made the first two up, the third is a spinosaurus skull, and the fourth is an attempt at a diplodocus)

Redesigned the way I draw Rocket, just for fun, with a few of the other Guardians media as inspiration!

Last time I had the time to figure out how I wanted to draw 'im was a few years ago lolol so he needed a bit of an upgrade.

Also, I did some more sketches to try and get used to/figure out how I want to draw him. So, full canvas below!

This is specifically pre/during GOTG 1 Rocket because I'm way too ambitious for my own good and am like "Yeah, I'll totally illustrate my fic!" I'll probably just end up making a cover, if at all, bc my semester starts the day after tomorrow TT<TT.

Well, that, and I just want to have a way to differentiate at which point in the timeline he's at, generally, because I love character development and want to poke him with a stick before and after all of his arcs. <3
