And now we get into the various venjix!Ziggy AUs (alright, there's only two of them, but I've got playlists for both, so strap on in). First up is the first RPM fic I actually wrote, which ft. Ziggy getting captured late in the season and made into a Venjix attack bot ala Tenaya. Not only did it set up a lot of conventions for how my RPM stories would play out (like how Venjix memory wipes work and how dead Soulmates are handled), it also ft. trans!Ziggy, his twin sister Meredith (possibly my favorite OC in this series), and remarkably little focus on the romance in favor of exploring the implications of amnesia, mind control, and sibling love.

Despite RPM and Jungle Fury being two of my favorite seasons, I actually hadn't thought of these two at first. But now I'm absolutely obsessed. Both of them have that darker vibe to them (Jarrod is obvious bc he's a villain but Dillon is also an edgelord lmao), both of them have had to deal with having their bodies taken over/possession, both of them have that heavy black color scheme and even similar haircuts....they would absolutely be amazing together I need them together NOWWWWWWWWW. You have unleashed a demon with this one I'm ngl I need to see them hang out together or make out ASAP (It would also be funny to see him w/ RJ bc both of them got that wolf motif lmao)

Speaking of RJ....

Now at first, I had no idea what to say about this one, but tbh, I'm starting to vibe with it lowkey. I love blue/purple, but I was struggling to find what point they would connect on until I realized...they BOTH love tinkering with things (Flynn being a mechanic while RJ's an inventor), so they would probably bond while helping the other out with their respective projects!! RJ would also make pizza for them during a lunch break while Flynn makes complementary smoothies and gives recipes for RJ to try!!

They're starting to grow on me too...........how dare a crackship grow on me what have you done.

Scott/Ziggy/Dillon playlist!

The second of my beloved Venjix!Ziggy fics, this one is the first second-person POV fic I've written that I wrote specifically using the second person POV as a tool rather than an easy way to slide into a character's mind. This fic centers on the POV of a Ziggy with amnesia who understands that he has Venjix parts but no desire to fight. Without too many spoilers, Tenaya is the one who picks him up in the Wastes and he comes to find out that Dillon is working for Venjix, a bit of a problem as Ziggy is starting to get a crush on both Dillon and Scott, who has two dead Soulmates and no idea what happened to them. It was so much fun to write and play around with this VERY outsider POV, dropping hints as to all of the changes and watching as the characters figure it all out.
