Book summaries below:
Princess Princess Ever After by K. O'Neill
"I am no prince!"
When the heroic princess Amira rescues the kind-hearted princess Sadie from her tower prison, neither expects to find a true friend in the bargain. Yet as they adventure across the kingdom, they discover that they bring out the very best in the other person. They'll need to join forces and use all the know-how, kindness, and bravery they have in order to defeat their greatest foe yet: a jealous sorceress, who wants to get rid of Sadie once and for all.
Join Sadie and Amira, two very different princesses with very different strengths, on their journey to figure out what happily ever after really means -- and how they can find it with each other.
Graphic novel, fantasy, romance, middle grade
The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich by Deya Muniz
Lady Camembert wants to live life on her own terms, without marriage. Well, without marrying a man, that is. But the law of the land is that women cannot inherit. So when her father passes away, she does the only thing she can: She disguises herself as a man and moves to the capital city of the Kingdom of Fromage to start over as Count Camembert.
But it’s hard to keep a low profile when the beautiful Princess Brie, with her fierce activism and great sense of fashion, catches her attention. Camembert can’t resist getting to know the princess, but as the two grow closer, will she able to keep her secret?
A romantic comedy about mistaken identity, true love, and lots of grilled cheese.
Graphic novel, romance, romantic comedy, secondary world, young adult

5 out of 5 stars
This was such a fun read and I loved the art. A young woman named Cam finds herself in a predicament after her father passes away; she has no husband (and wants none) and cannot inherit her father's wealth. With her father's blessing, she poses herself as a son and goes to the Capitol where people aren't bothered with keeping up with a mere Count's heirs.
There Cam manages to make her way to the Princess's Ball and catches her wrath for wearing faux pas--fur at a "no fur" ball. Except it turns out that it's faux fur. Cam and Princess Brie (yes, everyone has cheese-themed names and I love it) become fast friends. There are longing glances and blushes and everything in between; all while Cam tries to keep her true identity a disguise

I am so happy to be a part of the #QueerBookstagrammerTour again this year!
Leave it to me to wait until the last minute to get photos for this and then not be able to choose which to use. 😂 I picked a few of my favorite queer books to feature. Books that spoke to me on some level or were just incredibly fun reads. I'm happy to answer any questions!
Some facts about me:
• I'm panromantic asexual, but generally say I'm queer
• Rom-coms are my comfort genre, both books and movies
• I live in Texas with my partner of 8 years and our two cats, Obi and Winston (swipe to slide 4 to see Winston)
• I'm neurodivergent (most likely auDHD)
• I've gotten back into manga collecting after being bullied out of it in high school
• Audiobooks have absolutely CHANGED my reading game. The trauma of the pandemic sadly obliterated my attention span for most physical books
• Most of what I read these days is queer in some way
A huge thanks to @foreverinastory and @djreadsbooks for putting this together!
Remember: whether you are out or not, know you are greatly loved and my account is a safe space. 🌈✨️ Bigots can't and won't win.

If you like, then try…
Left image: The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang
Right image: The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich by Deya Muniz
Both Graphic Novels have incredible art, engaging stories of romance, friendship and identity. As well as cross dressing and some downright stunning outfits.

Cute and lighthearted sapphic, graphic novel ✨️ reading this reminds me of The Prince and the Dressmaker graphic novel (wanna reread that one).
The art on this GN is definitely stunning, I love the designs of the characters, reminding me so much of some fantasy manwha I've read before.
Other than that, I also adore the characters so much, Princess Brie's circle of friends as well as Cam's helper. I also wish we get to see more of Cam's father, I feel really sad about it, I bey he would be such a doting father and at the same time be the couple's biggest supporter alongside the friends.
Overall, this was a lovely read 🫶, some things I think could have been explored more, especially the pacing and the flow, and the depth of the plot. Definitely quick as well, and a must-read to all 🫶 Rated this a solid 4⭐️🤌🏽
