I love how the first 15 minutes of a midsummers nights dream is basically just Lysander calling Demetrius a shrimp dick man whore and telling his girlfriend how much he loves her (as he should). Honestly iconic

Screaming, crying and OBSESSING over the way Anya and Demetrius are on opposite sides of the Neurodivergent scale and also far more similar to one another than either one realizes. More than any other character we've seen so far, it feels like these two are Yin and Yang, opposite sides of the same coin.

Demetrius easily absorbs facts, figures, and other information that follows a set pattern. But people confuse and frustrate him, and he deals with that by not dealing with it. Anya has the ability to understand more about strangers she passes on the street than people who see them regularly ever could, but traditional academics can overwhelm her so she is resistant to studying. And yet both of them are othered and seen as abnormal by everyone around them, building a wall between them and their peers that they both find difficult to overcome.

Anya tries to fit in through masking, pretending as hard as she can to be normal (with limited success) but Demetrius has given up after going so long without anyone helping him better understand others which leads to him disassociating in social situations as a self defense mechanism, to get in and out as quickly and painlessly as possible while telling himself it doesn't matter.

Except it does.

Demetrius didn't need to ask about Damian's stella. But he did. Because he wants to find some sort of common ground with his brother even as he reassures himself that it doesn't matter and he doesn't care. He doesn't pick up on the fact that this makes Damian feel self conscious, that he's comparing his one stella to Demetrius' six and worried their father will love him less for not being as successful. Demetrius doesn't understand how the subject switched to Donovan at all, and shuts down hard when their father is mentioned. Just like he did when Damian called and asked him to be a bridge between them way back when.

(Demetrius warning Damian not to get his hopes up about Donovan coming to meet him also conflicts with his internal dialog about how the people around him don't matter and he doesn't need to care about understanding them. If it actually doesn't matter to him, then he wouldn't care if Donovan blew Damian off.)

Circling back to the original thought though, I desperately hope that we're going to get Demetrius and Anya interacting directly with one another at some point in the future because I have a feeling that Anya's blunt, child-like nature will lead to her just directly telling Demetrius the things that are eluding him when he interacts with others, demystifying all the unspoken social cues he's supposed to yet cannot intuit for the first time in his life. And he is going to be in awe of this child for her ability to not only understand others, but translate for him when he cannot grasp whatever it is they are trying and failing to say to him.

Demetrius could appreciate Anya's abilities, rather than being afraid of or disturbed by them. And they could both understand the feeling of not fitting in with the crowd. Of knowing that others regard them with fear and contempt, or want to use the things that make them different for their own purposes and treat them like they are just a tool instead of a person. The potential is there for a very interesting platonic relationship between two kids who have spent their whole lives feeling like their differences alienated them from everyone else in their life, and in Anya's case a fear that the discovery of that difference would lead to her losing the love of everyone important to her in her life.

notes: I'll typically try to do a gender neutral farmer but I'll specify when that isn't the case like with this fic. I use Y/N in this fic.

The ticking of the clock was far too loud as Sebastian lay in bed, eyes wide and locked onto the ceiling. His hands were folded on his chest but his fingers twitched with frustration and impatience. His skin was crawling as he tried his best to lay still and fall into sleep but it wouldn't take him and he knew that he'd have to get up and do something before his unsettled bones could rest.

That day had been nothing short of miserable. Work had been tedious, boring, and a general waste of time if it weren't for the paycheck. He'd gone upstairs to grab some lunch and instead had retreated right back down the stairs when he'd heard Demetrius and his mom start to bicker at one another. That had been a can of worms he hadn't felt like opening over a reheated slice of pizza. Everyone knew he'd pick his mom's side for whatever asinine thing they were at odds with and Demetrius would give him the stink eye like he shouldn't have been born. A regular Tuesday, really.

Since then he had remained in his room. Normally he wouldn't regret the reclusive day he had made for himself but as the clock ticked further into the night he was dying to do something fun. If it weren't for the brakes on his bike needing maintenance, he'd already be halfway to Zuzu City. Finally, his eyes locked onto a frozen tear that the farmer had gifted him last week for his birthday.

The frozen tear sparked an idea in his mind and off he went, tugging a beanie over his head and tugging on his favorite boots before he left his bedroom. He did his best to be quiet while he searched the dark garage for a leftover pick axe and a flashlight, courtesy of his mother. Snow crunching underfoot, he made his way to the haphazard wooden plank that pretended to be a bridge to the right of his home and he crossed it. It wobbled slightly, his stomach doing flips, and he wondered how it hadn't broken beneath the weight of the horse you rode across it every couple days.

Flashlight at the ready he walked to the back of the mine to where the elevator was poorly lit, like a beacon saving him from his boredom.

Pressing the button going down, Sebastian took a steadying breath. Immediately the metal doors slid open for him, with a slight groan and a loud creak. The impatience flooding his veins was gone now, replaced with excitement. Before the doors slid shut he wondered if he could find something pretty to gift you in return for your gift to him.

About five levels down and a backpack full of odd stones he found pleasant to the eye, Sebastian was wondering how in the hell you spent the entire week running back and forth to the mine. Not that he ever could truly complain about you stopping to say hello while he was out for his nightly smoke. You would wrinkle your nose if the wind blew towards you but never in disgust or judgment at his habit, however negative he knew it to be.

It was a secret he kept locked inside his heart but those were his favorite nights. Standing beside you at the lake while you recounted your day's events to him. The glow ring you had lit up the space around your hands as you waved them in the air happily. You were so full of life that it ran over your edges, seeping into him and filling him with a new vigor to do something. Those dreams of escaping to Zuzu City permanently once he had the means seemed so much smaller after meeting you. Without knowing it, you had given him so much, and he'd be damned if he didn't try and repay the effort.

Resettling his bag on his shoulders he climbed down the next ladder he had found. It had been nestled at the end of a long cave, right beside a line of tracks that led to a mine cart full of coal. He had pocketed some, maybe you could use it or Clint could buy it off him.

Nearly immediately after dropping into the cave he saw a curious looking stone that reflected back the beam from his flashlight in oranges and yellows. The cave seemed to glitter, like a heatless flame and he knew immediately that he needed to get this for you. The grin he was imagining you'd have was so brilliant he nearly stopped breathing. I might actually die if she smiles at me for real... He thought in passing as he took to working the stone. What was it?

Sebastian searched his head for thoughts that didn't scream you, you, you. It was hard when you had come to consume him. With a smile he pocketed the stone, the topaz. That's what it is, Topaz. The way the topaz had lit the room up reminded Sebastian of the way your glow ring sparkled off of your eyes when you shared your late night talks.

You were his heatless flame. Never there to hurt him or leave him burned or scarred, but always there to warm him and fill him with a new life he hadn't had since it was just him and his mom, playing pool every Friday even if he hadn't been quite as tall as the table.

In his reverie, Sebastian had lost some of the caution he had practiced the first few levels of the mines. He had cut through slimes and avoided any bug he came across but now he was tripping over a larger than average rock and that rock was beginning to crawl at him.

"Shit!" Sebastian muttered, scrambling back on his hands with his eyes locked onto what he knew now to be a rock crab. They were quicker than he thought and it got it's pincer around his calf before he could mutter another curse. He jerked away from it in panic but all that accomplished was the rock crab strengthening it's grip. The hard edges pulled at his skin and he winced before grabbing the damn thing and ripping it away from his calf.

His heart pounded forcefully in his chest and his head swam momentarily before the rushing in his ears calmed down. The terrible rip of his skin had filled him with adrenaline and he used it to pat his pockets and reassure himself your topaz was tucked safely away before bolting to the ladder and then to the elevator. Sebastian had gotten what he had come for and maybe a little more than he had bargained for.

Once Sebastian was safely out of the mines he sat heavily down onto the snow just outside the entrance. With heaving lungs, he let the chill of the snow seep into his scraped hands and dampen the legs of his pants. The cold was grounding, calming. His calf gave a painful twinge and he snuck a glance at the offending wound. Blood dyed the snow beneath him scarlet but the flow was not fast nor terribly bothersome. There was an ache that wouldn't go away and he knew he should get it tended to but Harvey was long asleep and he wasn't about to face his mother's wrath or invasive questions.

Robin's anger wouldn't be half as frightful if he told the truth but then she'd look at him with searching eyes and say, "The farmer, huh?, like it wasn't obvious that he had fallen for her this last flower dance when she had danced with Alex of all the people in town. She had danced with the man who shared the least in common with him. Did that mean something?

His heart gave a sharp tug almost as painful as the rock crab wound. Sebastian knew damn well Alex had invited you to dance just to catch Haley's eye, but you had said yes. You were more than arm candy and he had spent the next week in the worst mood wondering why. It wasn't until he saw you again that that feeling had eased and then he'd been faced with the knowledge of having fallen in love.

You had just shrugged when he'd asked how the dance had been with Alex. A sly smile played at your lips when you'd then asked, "How was dancing with Abigail?", like you knew something he didn't. Like you knew Abby was a childhood friend he tried to put distance from as often as possible and had since become a placeholder for inconveniences such as the annual dance. Like you knew he was wishing for her to be you.

Shuffling around on the snow when his hands began to sting with the cold, he realized that he needed to get up and care for his wound. He could walk on it well enough so he hobbled even more cautiously this time over the wooden bridge and back into his garage. Eyes peeled and flashlight at the ready he searched for where his mom kept her first aid kit for when she worked. Spotting it on Demetrius' workbench, he opened up only to be filled with disappointment. Sebastian's wonderful, loving, intelligent mother had not restocked the first aid kit in Yoba only knows how long.

Where would he even-?

Sebastian's thought was cut off with your name, as much of his thoughts were. You were always around town with bandaged fingers and poultices to offer to Evelyn for sore hips or to Vincent for scraped knees. You would have something to help.

He supposed it was wishful thinking that you would answer the door, and the walk to the farm wouldn't be delightful this time of night let alone with a bum leg but Sebastian pictured your smile once more and that heatless flame you gave off warmed him just enough to spur him to action.

Sebastian's head swam uncomfortably as he took the route to your farm but he used what adrenaline he had left in him to carry him all the way to your porch. Thankfully, torches lit the way and he didn't stumble or otherwise agitate his calf. Knocking on the door one, two, three times he let his fist fall before settling into the rocking chair you had set up for when George came to see you.

You had confided in him once that George enjoyed watching you work and was comfortable with letting you help him into the rocking chair. It reminded him of his childhood and Sebastian thought it was so sweet he could fall apart. He chuckled for a moment, even if Alex wasn't interested, he was sure that George hoped you would take a liking to his grandson just so he could claim you as family.

"Y/N!" He called, not too loud but none too gently either. He'd be thrilled to get something to fix the damn ache in his leg and close up the wound but if you were sleeping there was a part of him that wanted you to keep on dreaming. Your welfare mattered greatly to him, nearly over his own. He let his eyes close for a moment. Maybe it'd be alright if he just rested here for a second and then he could be on his way. He'd see Harvey tomorrow.

"Sebastian! What happened?" You gasped, jolting Sebastian back to reality. You held three jars of mayonnaise in your hands and at the sight of him you dropped all of them.

His throat was suddenly dry at the sight of you.

"Y/N, I-"

"Inside, right now," Your scolded but your voice was still so warm and even as your eyebrows knit together in confusion he could see the concern in those gorgeous eyes while they traced down his figure to the tattered jeans and blood on his leg.

Sebastian pushed himself up from the rocker and nearly giggled when your hand pressed firmly against his back. If he thought hard enough he could imagine your hard-earned callouses against his spine and he suppressed a shiver. Maybe he had bled a bit more than he'd thought.

You pulled a chair out from a table, your farmhouse being much larger than when he had last visited. Rather than the single room your first year, you now boasted a kitchen, three upper level rooms, a cellar and basement. You put his mom to good work and good work she had achieved.

And here he was, getting blood on the hardwood.

"Sit and speak," You demanded and Sebastian fixed his eyes onto yours. You were already shuffling around in one of your cabinets, retrieving an armful of supplies. He knew you'd have just what he needed.

"Got bored. Went to the mines and didn't see a rock crab."

Sebastian nearly rolled his eyes. He didn't mean to sound so....apathetic. He had spent so long playing it cool that he didn't know how to take himself out of it even when internally he was aching to shower you with gifts, affirmations, and if he was lucky enough, affection.

The pinched look of your face didn't exactly disappear but it eased some as you knelt before him, eyes wide and perfect as they took him in. He always felt exposed around you and at first it had made him uncomfortable. He had tried pushing you away because of it, but now he relished the feeling of being seen.

"My, my, Seb," You scolded against, this time warmly and without the nervous energy you'd had before when you hadn't known what was wrong with him. His heart leapt jerkily at the words you spoke. Yes, yours, all yours actually just ask me-

"It was dark," He mumbled, cheeks bright pink from the cold and something more.

"Typically in an unlit mine, things are dark," You agreed playfully, hands carefully but steadily rolling up the torn leg of his jeans. He really had liked him but he couldn't find it in him right now to mind the loss with your fingers prodding gently at his skin.

"Oh shut it," Sebastian laughed but the last thing he wanted was for you to stop speaking. Regrettably, you grew silent for a moment but he knew it was in concentration as you took a wet rag and wiped the blood and dirt away from the edges of his wound. So careful not to hurt him. Always so careful.

"Does it hurt?" You whispered, tilting your chin up at him. Sebastian drank up your appearance, the light from the fireplace casting gentle shadows against the side of your face. You were kneeling before him, hands carefully prodding at his leg and lips stuck out in a pout. He wanted run his fingers through your hair and pull you to him.

"Nothing hurts right now," He said a bit too honestly, not having time to question the words before they were out. You looked alarmed for a second, hand coming to press against his forehead.

"Don't joke so much, you sound like you're dying and meeting Yoba,"

"Oh yeah, because a scrape from a rock crab would-"

"Stop being sassy Seb, let me clean you up."

Sebastian couldn't help the dumbfounded grin that surfaced. There was something about the way you commanded the room, commanded him, that left him weak in the knees with no defenses.

You hummed softly, even when you applied alcohol to sanitize the wound and he hissed, jerking roughly away from you. You had gripped his thigh to keep him from moving too much and he stilled the second you squeezed. He stopped moving, let alone breathing, after that. Soon you were securing his calf with a bandage and looking at him with a satisfied but curious smile.

"You know, you're lucky I forgot to get the mayo from the coop earlier or I would've been in bed and you would've bled out on my porch,"

"I thought you might be awake," Sebastian answered honestly.

"Your mom could've helped,"

"Her first aid kit was empty,"

"Harvey-"

"Sleeping, and I wanted to give you something anyways,"

That look like you knew something he didn't played at your features again and his stomach did a somersault. To get away from the dizzy feeling you were giving him, he stood up and walked almost normally to his bag that had been left by the door.

"You didn't have to get me anything,"

You said it airily, with no real conviction. He knew you liked presents just like everyone else in town except you didn't receive them nearly half as often as you gave them out. For god's sake Pierre gave you seven potato seeds at the feast of the winter star last year. Sebastian was praying Lewis would let him be your secret gifter this year.

He pulled out the Topaz and extended it, eyes darting to the ceiling but then dropping back down to you. No matter how vulnerable he felt right now, in your home in the middle of the night, he wanted to see you light up at the sight of your present.

It was only when you held the topaz in your hands and looked at it oddly he thought you must have gathered plenty for yourself and he felt momentary regret. What could he give you that you didn't already have?

Taking two steps closer, you raised your chin and he noticed with shock that your eyes had grown glossy with tears.

"How did you know I love topaz?"

Sebastian couldn't help but let out an abrupt chuckle. "I honestly didn't, but it reminded me of your glow ring when you leave the mines and we talk and so I couldn't help but-"

You had put an end to his rambling by throwing your arms around his waist, topaz still held protectively in one of your hands as you tightened your arms around him and snuggled your head against his chest.

The air had definitely left him, never to return, and he was in fact going to die on your floor.

"Y/N..." Sebastian had nothing to say but he felt compelled to speak your name. The way it sounded off of his lips felt like finding a missing puzzle piece.

"Sebastian," You whispered in response, not releasing him from the hug.

"Y/N," Sebastian teasing said back. You huffed in amusement and began to pull away, thinking the moment was over but Sebastian kept you in his arms and you stopped trying to move away when he didn't let go. You stilled even further when he brushed a barely-there kiss to the crown of your head as if possessed by the need to feel your hair against his lips.

"Thank you for helping me, I'm sorry it's late,"

"Thank you for giving me a gift, I'm sorry it's late,"

He rolled his eyes at your parroted words but held you closer. He couldn't feel the cool wetness from his snowy pants or the ache in his calf nor the sting in his palms anymore. His heatless flame with her healing touch had removed all of his ailments.

Sometime later, after you had got him a towel and a warm cup of coffee to sip at while you talked on the couch, you let your head fall onto his shoulder and rest there. Even longer after that, the sun had come up and you had begun your work for the day with the promise to take a nap, Sebastian was on his way home with a skip in his step and warmth in his chest (and two new jars of mayonnaise in his pack).

Maybe you did know something he didn't know but maybe he was starting to see that his feelings for you weren't so different from how you felt about him.

Can I just say that I'm still bothered by whatever this panel is foreshadowing?

It could be foreshadowing that Anya is going to get put into a different class from her friends despite how hard she studied for her recent exams due to her low overall rank

I could also see it possibly foreshadowing that Strix is ultimately going to fail* as well. We did get confirmation that Demetrius isn't close to his father either this chapter

If Desmond isn't close to any members of his family, that may make it difficult to impossible for Loid to get closer to him so he can observe him for the mission by first getting close to a different member of his family, even if he manages to get access to Desmond via the Imperial Scholar events. That being said, I do think there's a chance that the Forgers will end helping the Desmonds to heal rifts in their family.

*I just want to say that I don't believe that Strix failing will automatically mean the end of the Forger family. More on that below.

WISE may find other uses for the family, such as gathering intel on other targets or serving as a bridge between them and Garden, or depending how his character arc goes Loid could insist on staying with the Forgers indefinitely. Given that Handler lost her husband and daughter, I have my doubts about her being willing to break up the Forgers, assuming she realizes just how attached they are to each other. Since she knows about Nightfall's crush, I suspect she has a good idea about what's actually going on with this supposedly fake family. One of my head cannons about Handler is that she is fighting for peace so that others don't have to lose their family like she did, which is probably a big part of the reason why I believe that she doesn't want to break up the Forgers.

My Stardew Valley project: Lots Layout plan in TS4

(This is not/will not be a save or a download as I use way too much CC for that, just a personal project and plan of lots I found suitable; I don't know how long this will take me or if I'll ever complete it but having a plan helps me so much to not get stuck later)

I'm sharing this in case it is handy to anyone wanting to do a Stardew Valley save in The sims 4 from scratch (lots off gallery are limiting with their sizes and needing specific lots, so I'm starting from zero unless a lot fits) without ugly set dressings or stupid backgrounds that don't make sense, and trying to group together the lots properly like they are laid out in the game so you can see them in the distance, or at least put them on an isolated lot with a clear surroundings if they have to be separated. It isn't perfect and is subjective and pack dependant but I spent a while today just laying out in my blank save (I use the srslysims blank save for this) where I wanna build what and who lives in each lot, so I'm sharing it in case it saves someone time or is useful Some lots are for a few sims living together to do two or more builds on one lot. This could possibly work with For Rent, but I don't dare try it lol. Others are just living alone. Others are just community. The main worlds I'm using are:

- Henford on Bagley:

The finwich area for the main Pelican town area ➡ 1= 1 Willow Lane (Sam Vincent Kent Jodi) + 2 Willow Lane (Hayley and Emily) these are here because of the river and the bridge leading "down to the beach" just everything is perfect for me. 2= Mayor's Manor, 1 River Road (Alex, George, Evelyn), 2 River Road (Pam and Penny trailer) this one is a little cramped and will have to be one next to the other but it can work. That way all these people live in the village centre. 3= Stardrop Saloon, maybe a little square if it fits, but probably not. 4= Harvey's clinic, Pierre's store. 5= Blacksmith and Library (+the little ice cream stand or market stall) 6= Joja Mart and/or Cinema (I'm doing both) 7= Bookseller with cute hot air balloon (this is random I wanted to do it, but it is usually just an empty area) 8= The farm 9= 24 Mountain road (Maru Seb Robin and Demetrius) 10= Quarry (set as generic) 11= Linus's tent 12= Adventurer's Guild and Mines (marlon gil and dwarf)

Willow Creek (Community Center)

It is on the big lot in willow creek, no surroundings or buildings, so It was perfect, and gives enough space to build the community center plus the childrens park and the natural area around it and it's by a river.

- Moonwood Mill as Cindersap Forest

I know it's a bit grungy and has industrial deco but I don't mind these buildings as they fit with the nature imo. It had the perfect amount of lots for what I needed, plus a river. 1= Wizards Tower 2= Travelling Merchant 3= Marnie's Ranch + Leah's Cottage 4= Krobus/Sewer (this is the main reason I chose this world and I know there isn't a beach but the sewer pipe with trash aesthetic and the large lot in the forest was enough for me) 5= Mouse Hat shop /Abandoned house

Granite Falls for Secret Forest:

I'm doing this one (using Zerbu's all worlds are residential) in Granite Falls in the National Park lot, I just liked how big it is, how tall the surrounding trees are, and that it has a little waterfall area.

Glimmerbrook as the rest of "Mountains" area (Railroad and Spa). I choose that lot of the railroad cause i can add a tunnel for the train with tool and it looks like its coming out the cliff

Sulani

Sulani as the Docks (with Elliots shack and Willy's shop) the build i've placed is from the gallery and is a water lot with the Night market (I really liked this and didn't want it separately) so I had to place it here. I do not actually like Sulani for this though, it is far too tropical and its on an island but I am forgiving it for the sake of having the beach lot. I wish Brindleton Bay had a beach lot near the docks would have been much better. You could change this and put it anywhere if you build your own beach as a pool but I hate doing that... In Sulani I'll also build all the Ginger Island stuff, but I still haven't played through that properly so I can't say what is going where yet.

Forgotten Hollow (witch's swamp/hut)

Oasis Springs as The Calico Desert

This large lot is perfect. It has a road, not too much going on around it except rocks and desert, and I'm gonna put everything here (Sandy's shop, Mr Qi's casino, and the desert trader outside). I will not be building the bus stop anywhere cause it is unnecessary. I forgot to mention but also the skull cavern might fit here or I'll do it on some other lot maybe OTHER INFO

Mods I'm gonna use to help the lots work as intended: I'm gonna play with littlemssams live in business mod to achieve the character being able to live on what should be a community lot and for it to still be functional, as well as chingyu's welcoming lot trait to avoid sims not being able to do what they want on these lots without being "innappropriate". For each of the lots and worlds I selected I spent time entering each and deciding which areas most closely resembled the areas from the game. For example if it had a lake or river nearby, or if the lot was big enough to build each thing. This could change but I think I'm happy with it. I might have to change some of this or make tiny builds to fit the multi build lots. Every single thing is super unfinished and empty, this is just my layout plan.

Conclusion: I hope this helps someone or if not and you even read this far that you like my idea :) If I forgot something or someone or said a name wrong, sorry, though I haven't fully finished the game yet. Basically I tend to get super overwhelmed and annoyed if there are stupid buildings or things that don't match, and am unable to just randomly plop any build anywhere like many players do due to obsessing over it not looking right around the build...maybe I'm a perfectionist or wish it was a blank world, but this is my next best thing. At least this was easier than my Cyberpunk save with way more foresty/countrysidish options 😅

So I've been listening to way too much Myles Kennedy/Alter Bridge again which has also coincided with my furiosa hyperfocus but here me out...

Modern day band au

Jack is a big the selling rock star of Praetorian Jack and the War Boys under Immortan Records. Furiosa is the mute roady flying under the radar as she hides from her past with Demetrius Records and the exploitation her mother suffered.

Jacks No1 guitar tech, the guy he trusts the most with his kit, leaves to be with his family leaving Jack with no one who can properly do the job to the standard hes used to. But furiosa watches always and she's picked up exactly what to do and how he likes it. Jack insists she becomes his new number one above all the other experienced techs.

Then one day he hears her sing and he knows she's too good to just be tuning his guitars. He makes her a deal, she sings with him and he'll show her everything about the industry until she's ready to go out on her own. No hard feelings, no questions asked.

He writes 'Blackbird' and 'Watch Over You' about her. She starts her own record label and he goes with her. They sing together under the new band The Praetorians.

If only I was a writer and not just a little obsessive adhd gremlin.

With Shearwater Bridge being Willi's favourite fishing spot, he was sure to be the first to recognise an unusual fish when he saw what kind of prey he had caught on fishing hook. This immediately became his next fishing tale, and the first listeners were Elliott (new material for his novel!), Gunther and Marlon. The old one-eyed adventurer was most interested in the story, because if Willi's description was to be believed, the fish had appeared here just a couple of days ago, and under very strange circumstances. The head of the Guild decided to share this story with Magnus, and the wizard immediately made an irritated grimace and started massaging his temples, trying to calm his headache.

Camilla, of course...

Magnus had somehow guessed that, besides the main culprit of the event, the Farmer must have known about the Kittyfish (who'd given that fish such a ridiculous name...), and his instincts had not deceived him. He's not mad at Farmer, of course no, just.... Ugh, Camilla apparently can't go a day without an event to grate on Magnus' nerves.

On the other hand, the new magical fish would be good material to study, especially considering how Morgan's eyes lit up at the fish story.

But Demetrius was ahead of him in his study, having heard about the new species of fish in the river's ecosystem. The scientist and Maru had been buzzing Robin's and Sebastian's ears about this discovery (Sebby actually thought the fish were cute). Abigail (who wanted to fish for herself, but couldn't catch it) and Sam (who doesn't like fishing at all, but even he was curious about the whole thing) agreed with their emo friend's opinion that the fish was cute when Demetrius showed them a specimen

Joja doesn't emphasise catching and selling fish, so while manager Morris hasn't started thinking about suggesting to his bosses that they add local (usual and unusual) fish to the sale as well, Shane, Claire and Martin don't really care.

Robin, of course, mentioned her husband's research to her friends - Caroline, Olivia, Jodi, Marnie and Emily - but they chatted about it for just a couple of minutes. The town ladies have more interesting gossip to discuss.

It was not a big news for the other residents of the Stardew Valley, as they had bigger problems in their life. The fish is obscure, and it is not known whether it is edible or not, so there is no interest in it. However, the same Emily with Susan and Penny discussed their worry about upsetting the balance of the ecosystem if it turned out that the fish had been artificially settled rather than naturally occurring.

The local children (Jas, Vincent, Leo) would be told that it was a monster, an evil spirit reincarnated as a cute fish to lure and drag naughty children into the water (thanks to Abigail for that scary tale).

Winter 1, Year 1 With the bridge to the quarry fixed early in the morning by the Junimos, Beep now had access to the new area. While he technically could've flown, it was very energy intensive and risked exhausting him before he made it across the chasm. Even if he did, getting back across would've been risky. Now, he could simply walk across. Or he would've, if he wasn't freezing his little tail off! Holy shit it was so fucking cold. Even with a fully grown winter coat, kerfuffled feathers, and keeping his body folded in as best he could, the wind still bit into him. The hides he had been planning to use to line his nest were destroyed when Demetrius emptied out the cave. So were the rations that were supposed to last him all winter. Every prey animal was hiding now, so hunting would be nearly impossible. Beep didn't even have time to explore the opening in the cliff to the north of the bridge before he bee-lined through the ore nodes and small boulders to the mine cart at the back of the quarry. He kicked the lever connecting it to the main track, and jumped in, heading straight back to the bus stop. By the time he shivered and shuffled back to the farm house, he could barely feel his ears and tail. At least the wood pile outside the front door was fully stocked for the season. Several logs thudded into the fireplace, and with a spit of magic, the fireplace roared to life. It would still take almost an hour for the peryton to stop shivering. This would be a brutal season. ——— Things different from canon; (AU???) Gramps never had an heir, or they never show/ed up. Special new farm map; Frontier Farm! Stardew Valley Expanded; new maps, new NPCs, new events, a LOT of new stuff. The new “Farmer” is just a Weird Ass Deer. NPCs will respond/react accordingly. This is my first time playing Stardew Valley Expanded, so I’m learning as I go. (Please no spoilers if you play SVE)

Battle Strategy-2

It wasn't up until there was an energon signal that Optimus finally agreed to let the Death Angel- Blade, as Paige had named him for unknown, crazy reasons- onto the battle field just this once.

Paige, Ivan, Demetrius, Natalia, Elita, Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus, Arcee and Smokescreen stood in the shadows of the trees.

There were twenty Vehicons guarding the mine, ten guarding the mine and ten mining the energon.

"So what's the plan?" Smokescreen asked curiously, keeping his voice low.

"Simple really," Demetrius smirked, "Paige and I will step out into the sight of the warrior Vehicons and once we have their attention, Blade comes out."

"Isn't that dangerous?" Elita asked, furrowing her optic ridges. "What's dangerous is not getting that energon," Natalia replied.

Ultra Magnus raised an optic ridge.

"You sure this is a good idea?" Arcee asked. "We've got this, 'Cee," Hot Rod reassured her with a smile.

"Everyone ready?" Paige asked. Once everyone nodded, Demetrius took Paige's hand and the two disappeared into a shadow void.

Ivan exhaled sharply and he walked away from the others, making a beeline for a small clearing in the middle of the woods.

He held his hands out in front of him and he narrowed his eyes in concentration. The wind gently whipped past his hair and the ground trembled slightly.

Demetrius and Paige stepped out of the shadows and one Vehicon looked at them.

"Hey," Demetrius greeted with a grin. The vehicon aimed its blaster at the two Transcendants. Two more Vehicons noticed their comrade and the two humans.

"Hey now... we're not here to fight," Paige said quickly, "but do you really want to pull that stunt?"

The vehicon's blaster started charging up.

"Okay," the Dual-Blooded girl sighed with a shake of her head. Demetrius covered his ears as she inhaled before she let out a scream.

The miners jumped and looked towards the commotion. Demetrius smirked. He would've laughed if not for the incoming monster. There was a high-pitched, ear-splitting screech and the sounds of trees and leaves rustling loudly made the Vehicons look towards the noises.

Demetrius and Paige quickly disappeared into the shadows just as Blade leapt out from the trees and swiped his claws across the Vehicon's visor, knocking its helm clean off.

The other Vehicons immediately started firing at Blade but the shots harmlessly bounced off his body.

He screeched and roared as he charged at the Vehicons. Elita One and Ultra Magnus widened their optics slightly at the sheer strength that Blade had as he took down the Vehicons.

Demetrius and Paige appeared beside the Autobots once the Vehicons were either gone or had fled. Ivan stepped out of the trees and he unfolded his blackish-blue wings and he whistled sharply.

Blade turned to him and screeched before he turned back towards the sky and screeched louder. A ground bridge opened as the other Autobots and Transcendants came out.

"What is it-... he doing?" Smokescreen quickly corrected himself when Ivan and Paige glared at him. Paige looked back at Blade, "calling for his brethren." She bit her lip before she looked at Ivan, "hey, Ivan, can you-" "NO!" Gregory, Harry, Natalia, Demetrius, Charlotte, Marley and Shiloh shouted, startling the Evaran.

Blade roared and Ivan placed a hand on his arm. "Was it necessary for you to yell?" Paige asked as she rubbed her ear.

"Yes," Natalia huffed as she used her magic to levitate the energon, "you are not asking Ivan to create more Death Angels, you horror movie fanatic." "Natalia's right, Paige," Hot Rod piped up, "I think one Death Angel is enough." "Oh come on! Ivan, back me up here!" The Dual-Blooded girl pouted.

"I'm with Hot Rod and Natalia on this one, Paigey," the Irifloran sighed. Paige widened her eyes, "what!? What happened to 'I'm indifferent; I like me better when I don't listen'?!" There was the musical sound of a saxophone playing and Ivan looked at his friend, "that was before Blade was brought out onto the battlefield. This is you wanting to create more Death Angels."

"And besides, Paige," Wheeljack chuckled, "if Ivan did create more Death Angels, you'd probably sick em on the Decepticons." "I would not!" The Evaran huffed, folding her arms over her chest. Her tail twitched and she looked at the ground, "not on purpose."

"Paige," Arcee chided. "See?" Gregory chuckled as he, Kaitlin, Thomas carried the energon through the ground bridge. Ultra Magnus looked at Paige, "it is still a no, Paige."

"And Blade's gotta go," Ivan chuckled as he and said Death Angel walked to the ground bridge.

"Nooooo! My baby!" Paige exclaimed as she leapt forward and wrapped her arms around Blade's hind leg. Surprisingly, the Death Angel didn't growl at her as he followed Ivan into the ground bridge and inadvertently dragged Paige through too.

Elita shook her helm with amusement as they all walked through the ground bridge with the energon.

i have this headcanon in stardew valley that seb does community service as much as sam for the most questionable unexplainable shit you could imagine and because lewis is a terrible mayor.

we all know the moonlight jellies event every end of summer, right? it was year 3, i was talking to every folks i lay my eyes on like the social butterfly i am ingame. then i talked to sam and this guy legit asked if the jellies are poisonous because if they aren't he'll fucking yeet seb there to fucking drown idk if the man can even swim let alone stay afloat and lewis will most likely reprimand them for interrupting a special event and it got me thinking how their lives go about when sam is the most random man you've ever met

like can you imagine if one day sam approaches seb and gives him a bunch of freshly uprooted flowers because he finds the colors vibrant and demetrius is in the background panicking about how he shouldn't have picked them because it's illegal and they're poisonous and sam just goes "nah im pretty sure these stuff ain't poisonous" and the next thing you knew his hand is red and seb's dragging his fainted body to the clinic. the moment sam wakes up, lewis is fuming by his side going on about how irresponsible he is and that he and seb will clean the community center for a week and seb will say something along the lines of "why am i with him?" and lewis will make up a shitty reason to end the conversation

i firmly believe that one night in fall, sam asked seb if they could do ghost hunting and seb was like "okay let's do it" mainly because he's bored and doesn't believe in ghosts. so they wore masks and makeshift ghost-hunting equipment and stuff and walked through the town at 3 am in dead silence and darkness and only in their undershirt and boxers because as sam quotes "everyone is asleep at that time and they can just lie straight to bed to fall asleep after everything's over". sam is starting to cower in fear in his first twenty steps and seb just goes "mf this is your idea dont back out now" "there's no ghosts im telling you so pull yourself together" then they reach the bridge and hear the bush near it rustle and make weird sounds. seb does nothing while sam, silently praying, knees wobbling and hands shaking, throws his whole equipment towards its direction and hear it scream. so sam screams, seb screams out of shock, and lewis and marnie emerge from the bush. they had a silent agreement not to talk about it with the way they stare at each other, but boy do sam and seb enjoy picking trash for two weeks.

i have a lot of takes for this hc but everything's overlapping in my mind and i think im on the verge of overloading

Stardew Valley Null Lore Please :]

Of course my friend, just for you I'll give you a lot to read. Spoilers for some heart event stuff with Shane and Mayor Lewis.

Okay so to start I guess I'll say what's the same with his official portrayal. He's still got hardcore trauma from humans capturing his family and killing them all except for him and experimenting on him because he's a fairy, but his emotions are slightly more present since Grandpa adopted him after he escaped, instead of him being kidnapped and smuggled a lot in his childhood like in his official portrayal.

He and Demetrius start off EXTREMELY rough because of it, when Demetrius got a bit too eager in expressing his interest in studying Null's magic and triggered a PTSD attack for him. He doesn't stay openly angry and suspicious of Demetrius forever, but it's still pretty obvious that he never forgives him or truly lowers his guard around him.

For less angsty lore, his cat Carl is always following him around, no matter if he's on the farm or talking to folks in town. It's an endearing quirk to the townsfolk, especially when Null openly converses with Carl since he can both understand and talk to all animals. If folks are lucky, occasionally they'll spot him talking to Carl and getting really sassy after Carl says (meows) something to him. "Oh, so I'm suddenly your waterboy, huh? I'll catch you a stinky bug to eat instead if you lip at me again, boy."

In terms of relationships, he eventually marries Elliott. He's also best friends with Sebastian, Shane, Penny, and Leah. He's got a decent relationship with everyone in town except for Pam, Demetrius, and Haley, and after he finds out about Mayor Lewis' secret involving Marnie and realizing that he's funneling most of the town's funds to his own pockets, he becomes a bit distant. He started off thinking something was off about the guy but he couldn't put his finger on why, but that assured him he wasn't being overly suspicious out of anti-human bias. He also is distant from Pierre for the same reason, though he doesn't hate the guy as much as he hates Joja. This section is subject to change as I play more.

A little thing I wanted to incorporate into his storyline is him getting close enough to Penny that she gifts him a bouquet to confess to him after trying her best to save up, and as a way to both gently decline and honor her efforts, he makes the flowers into two flower crowns for them both to wear. It was a tearful hug on Penny's part when he did that, but she still left that hangout with Null with a smile because of his kindness to her.

Shane also develops feelings for him, and gets an equally kind and patient rejection. After Shane ends up kissing his cheek in excitement during the gridball game, and he freaks out and backs up, Null just pulls him into a one-armed hug and says they can talk about it after they get back to town. They do so, and yet again a friend leaves with a smile and a huge weight off their shoulders. It also helped that Shane knew about Null's culture being polyamorous and having a general lack of jealousy after being told one day, so there was no bridge created in their friendship since confessions don't affect Null like that and he values friendships equally.

For hobbies, Null is another tortured artist to add to the pile, and he's a masterful painter and musician. He frequently listens to music and/or sings to pass the time when he's farming or doing some foraging. A way he sometimes bonds with Elliott and his friends is by singing to them as he sits with them and they do their own thing, with him usually braiding flowers into Elliott's hair or making a flower crown/other accessories for Penny and the others.
