Nope now it’s at the point that i’m shocked that people off tt don’t know what’s going down. I have no reach but i’ll sum it up anyway.
SCOTUS is hearing on the constitutionality of the ban as tiktok and creators are arguing that it is a violation of our first amendment rights to free speech, freedom of the press and freedom to assemble.
SCOTUS: tiktok bad, big security concern because china bad!
Tiktok lawyers: if china is such a concern why are you singling us out? Why not SHEIN or temu which collect far more information and are less transparent with their users?
SCOTUS (out loud): well you see we don’t like how users are communicating with each other, it’s making them more anti-american and china could disseminate pro china propaganda (get it? They literally said they do not like how we Speak or how we Assemble. Independent journalists reach their audience on tt meaning they have Press they want to suppress)
Tiktok users: this is fucking bullshit i don’t want to lose this community what should we do? We don’t want to go to meta or x because they both lobbied congress to ban tiktok (free market capitalism amirite? Paying off your local congressmen to suppress the competition is totally what the free market is about) but nothing else is like TikTok
A few users: what about xiaohongshu? It’s the Chinese version of tiktok (not quite, douyin is the chinese tiktok but it’s primarily for younger users so xiaohongshu was chosen)
16 hours later:
Tumblr media
Tiktok as a community has chosen to collectively migrate TO a chinese owned app that is purely in Chinese out of utter spite and contempt for meta/x and the gov that is backing them.
My fyp is a mix of “i would rather mail memes to my friends than ever return to instagram reels” and “i will xerox my data to xi jinping myself i do not care i share my ss# with 5 other people anyway” and “im just getting ready for my day with my chinese made coffee maker and my Chinese made blowdryer and my chinese made clothing and listening to a podcast on my chinese made phone and get in my car running on chinese manufactured microchips but logging into a chinese social media? Too much for our gov!” etc.
So the government was scared that tiktok was creating a sense of class consciousness and tried to kill it but by doing so they sent us all to xiaohongshu. And now? Oh it’s adorable seeing this gov-manufactured divide be crossed in such a way.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is adorable and so not what they were expecting. Im sure they were expecting a reluctant return to reels and shorts to fill the void but tiktokers said fuck that, we will forge connections across the world. Who you tell me is my enemy i will make my friend. That’s pretty damn cool.

The Case Against One-Off Workflows
Tumblr media
I've been in the data delivery business long enough to know a red flag when I see one. One-off workflows may be a convenient victory. I've constructed them, too—for that stressed-out client, that brand-new data spec, or an ad-hoc format change. They seem efficient at the time. Just do it and be gone.
But that's what occurred: weeks afterward, I found myself in that very same workflow, patching a path, mending a field, or describing why the logic failed when we brought on a comparable client. That's when the costs creep in quietly.
Fragmentation Creeps In Quietly
Every single one-off workflow introduces special logic. One can contain a bespoke transformation, another a client-specific validation, and another a brittle directory path. Do that across dozens of clients, hundreds of file formats, and constrained delivery windows—it's madness.
This fragmented configuration led to:
Mismatches in output between similar clients
Same business rules being duplicated in several locations
Global changes needing to be manually corrected in each workflow
Engineers wasting hours debugging small, preventable bugs
Quiet failures that were not discovered until clients complained
What was initially flexible became an operational hindrance gradually. And most infuriating of all, it wasn't clear until it became a crisis.
The Turning Point: Centralizing Logic
When we switched to a centralized methodology, it was a revelation. Rather than handling each request as an isolated problem, we began developing shared logic. One rule, one transform, one schema—deployed everywhere it was needed.
The outcome? A system that not only worked, but scaled.
Forge AI Data Operations enabled us to make that transition. In Forge's words, "Centralized logic eliminates the drag of repeated workflows and scales precision across the board."
With this approach, whenever one client altered specs, we ran the rule once. That change was automatically propagated to all relevant workflows. No tracking down scripts. No regression bugs.
The Real Payoffs of Centralization
This is what we observed:
40% less time spent on maintenance
Faster onboarding for new clients—sometimes in under a day
Consistent outputs regardless of source or format
Fewer late-night calls from ops when something failed
Better tracking, fewer bugs, and cleaner reporting
When logic lives in one place, your team doesn’t chase fixes. They improve the system.
Scaling Without Reinventing
Now, when a new request arrives, we don't panic. We fit it into what we already have. We don't restart pipelines—we just add to them.
Static one-off workflows worked when they first existed. But if you aim to expand, consistency wins over speed every time.
Curious about exploring this change further?
Download the white paper on how Forge AI Data Operations can assist your team in defining once and scaling infinitely—without workflow sprawl pain.

Latest Trends in DevOps Services for Cloud Migration (2025)
Tumblr media
Cloud migration in 2025 is being shaped by a convergence of advanced DevOps practices and emerging technologies. Here are the most significant trends:
Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Strategies
Organizations are increasingly adopting hybrid and multi-cloud environments to avoid vendor lock-in, optimize workloads, and enhance redundancy. Modern DevOps consulting services are focusing on seamless transitions between on-premises, private, and multiple public clouds, leveraging advanced orchestration tools to automate deployments and ensure compatibility across diverse platforms.
AI-Driven Optimization
Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing cloud migration. AI-powered tools analyze workloads for optimal placement, predict migration issues, and provide real-time insights for dynamic resource allocation. Post-migration, AI continues to monitor and optimize cloud environments, ensuring ongoing performance and cost efficiency.
Serverless and Cloud-Native DevOps
The adoption of serverless computing and cloud-native architectures is accelerating. Serverless CI/CD pipelines and tools like Kubernetes and Docker are enabling microservices-based deployments, allowing teams to focus on application logic while infrastructure management is automated and scalable.
GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
GitOps is becoming a core practice, allowing infrastructure and application code to be managed in version-controlled repositories. This approach ensures consistency, auditability, and rapid recovery, and integrates smoothly with CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows.
Enhanced Security and DevSecOps
Security is being integrated earlier in the migration process through DevSecOps. Advanced security protocols, including Zero Trust Architecture, end-to-end encryption, and AI-driven threat detection, are now standard to protect data and ensure compliance during and after migration.
Cost-Efficiency and FinOps
Migration services are adopting cost-optimization strategies, such as subscription-based pricing and containerization. FinOps practices are being integrated to provide visibility into cloud expenses and help organizations manage and optimize spending.
Sustainability Initiatives
Eco-friendly practices are gaining prominence. Providers are investing in green data centers, carbon footprint monitoring, and sustainable migration processes to address the environmental impact of cloud computing.
Collaboration and Communication Tools
Enhanced collaboration is being facilitated by ChatOps and integrated communication platforms, allowing real-time troubleshooting and deployment commands within familiar messaging interfaces, thus improving agility and response times.
Continuous Improvement and Post-Migration Optimization
DevOps emphasizes continuous monitoring, incident management, and iterative optimization after migration. This ensures that cloud environments are always aligned with business goals and performance expectations.
These trends reflect a holistic approach to cloud migration, where DevOps is not just about automation but also about intelligence, security, sustainability, and collaboration, ensuring organizations achieve agility, resilience, and cost-effectiveness in their cloud journeys.

I stole Captain Gregor's ,Flirtation Mask' for my next mission! 👀✨ The ALT text mission!
For those, who don‘t need the ALT text function: Did you notice, that additionally reading the ALT text and then having a second look on the artwork can change the intake of it massively? The artwork grows. Whispering the artists thoughts, murmuring the tales and adventures behind and broadens the sensing from a quartet onto a whole orchestra! ✨🎶 Depends on the ALT text of course
Tumblr media
🫶 My mission goal is to bifrœst my sight of the images I see, not only with my limited drawing Padawan skills, but with words and feelings. So I bred fluffball-feathered-broody-caffeine-soft-hooting-owl 🦉 how to spread my art more and better, to make your eyes, your faces, your hearts, your souls shine 🌈✨
I’m challenging now myself to do at least one additional ALT text for my previous artworks every time I post a new piece of art. And the new pieces only with ALT text and not without anymore! ☝️🤓
If I'm lucky, I may sometimes get into a writing flow and then my brain go brrrrrt and I'll complete this mission faster, but that's really a matter of luck 🍀
If I'm not that lucky, I trawl and crawl through the Banyan-grove woods and Dagobah swamps of my brain on a desperate search for words... No, i won't, I attract and manifest the flow brrrrt ☕️☕️☕️
Tumblr media
This might be a strange approach to do the ALT text task why can't I just ,l do the task until it's done with breaks and in time like a normal person’ but I have to circumvent my brain rain to reach the goal. And in ADHD cases this goes with dopamining. So I dopa-mine. Is that a word pun? Dopamine mining? ⛏️✨
The brain rain blockades (but only 3 % of them to not waste your time, absolutely no must read) ☔️
Why did I have not started at the very beginning?? Unknowingness doesn't justify, does it? That's not rhetorical, it's a social-community-rules-things struggle of mine
Am I bad to not thinking of it firstly, visual type of creature me? Should I get an eye bandana Hunter's bandana 🪶 to learn to treasure and appreciate my gift?
Is my English valid and vibrant enough to draw my artworks with words or is everything KAUDERWELSCH 🤯 (German for gibberish)
🙏 What do you think about my ALT text here for the ‚Flirtation mask?' 👀 Please tell me! Let me know! Roast it like a coffee bean! I want to LEARN and IMPROVE so badly, sharing the beautiful worlds my brain tends to roam in best quality 🤩🫶
ALT text description style inspired by the gorgeous template from @ireadwithmyears helping me with the ALT text for my Mayday appreciation artwork. I hope you like it? 🫶
The background story of Captain Gregor's ,Flirtation mask' you'll find here - it's fun brainrot ☝️😎

I've been thinking about the kind of playstyle Axl EXE would have. I'm actually curious what kinds of chips he'd use most often xD
Oho , Axl.exe would be a fast navi :] , though he is pretty much low health for a boss
He mostly cycle through his buster gun and his scythe , he mostly like to dash when he uses the scythe and uses mostly sneak attacks ^^ ( comparison maybe spooky virus)
And Axl can make 2 shadow clones of himself like MMX Red ^^)9 , and his ability “A trans” where he can copy other navi and use their power ( but it won’t be as powerful unless he able to get that navi’s full data by defeating them or forcefully extract)
For chips , i think Red is pretty adventurous , though he gives Axl more ranged chip like shotgun or dash
But since Red is legally blind , Axl’s custom bar is slow

Why Data Teams Waste 70% of Their Week—and How to Fix It
Tumblr media
Commercial data providers vow speed and scale. Behind the scenes, data teams find themselves drowning in work they never volunteered for. Rather than creating systems or enhancing strategy, they're re-processing files, debugging workflows, and babysitting fragile pipelines. Week after week, 70% of their time vanishes into operational black holes.
The actual problem is not so much the amount of data—it's the friction. Patching and manual processes consume the workday, with barely enough bandwidth for innovation or strategic initiatives.
Where the Week Disappears
Having worked with dozens of data-oriented companies, one trend is unmistakable: most time is consumed making data ready, rather than actually providing it. These include:
Reprocessing files because of small upstream adjustments
Reformatting outputs to satisfy many partner formats
Bailing out busted logic in ad-hoc pipelines
Manually checking or enhancing datasets
Responding to internal queries that depend on flawlessly clean data
Even as pipelines themselves seem to work, analysts and engineers tend to end up manually pushing tasks over the goal line. Over time, this continuous backstop role spirals out into a full-time job.
The Hidden Labor of Every Pipeline
Most teams underappreciate how much coordination and elbow grease lies buried in every workflow. Data doesn't simply move. It needs to be interpreted, cleansed, validated, standardized, and made available—usually by hand.
They're not fundamental technical issues. They're operational inefficiencies. Lacking automation over the entire data lifecycle, engineers are relegated to responding rather than creating. Time is spent patching scripts, fixing schema mismatches, and speeding toward internal SLAs.
The outcome? A team overwhelmed with low-value work under unrealistic timelines.
Solving the Problem with Automation
Forge AI Data Operations was designed for this very problem. Its purpose is to take the friction out of slowing down delivery and burning out teams. It automates each phase of the data life cycle—from ingestion and transformation to validation, enrichment, and eventual delivery.
Here's what it does automatically:
Standardizes diverse inputs
Applies schema mapping and formatting rules in real time
Validates, deduplicates, and enriches datasets on the fly
Packages and delivers clean data where it needs to go
Tracks each step for full transparency and compliance
This is not about speed. It's about providing data teams with time and mental room to concentrate on what counts.
Why This Matters
A data team's real value comes from architecture, systems design, and facilitating fast, data-driven decision-making. Not from massaging inputs or hunting down mistakes.
When 70% of the workweek is spent on grunt work, growth is stunted. Recruitment becomes a band-aid, not a solution. Innovation grinds to a halt. Automation is never about reducing jobs—it's about freeing up space for high-impact work.
Reclaim the Workweek
Your team's most precious resource is time. Forge AI enables you to free yourself from wasting it on repetitive tasks. The reward? Quicker turnaround, less error, happier clients, and space to expand—without expanding headcount.
Witness how Forge AI Data Operations can return your team's week back—and at last prioritize what actually moves your business ahead.

i've been thinking a lot about nortrell these past few days, and in consideration of why i find it so compelling, i've realized that its discovery followed a familiar spiral for me. i always fall in love with a character that a lot of fan media portrays as a sub and a bottom (i LOVE subby bottoms) and then i get obsessed with him and start studying his lore and discovering all the ways he's complex and competent, adding critical nuance to the existing framework from the beloved archetype.
inevitably in that process i discover that he's got a weirdly codependent long-time best friend hovering in the background, who's also an employee or something subordinate, and who has the energy of someone who wants nothing more than for that particular guy to top him, but would never say so out loud (i LOVE hopeless and helpless pining)!! like give me a slutty guy who has some kind of situational authority over his very best friend, and make that friend a pining, needy simp trying desperately to hide it, and i am fully seated. this has happened multiple times, to my surprise.
i think the reason i love it so much is that it's like two halves of a single person finally coming into alignment, with full intimate knowledge of each other, risking utter vulnerability to the person who can hurt you worst, which is like the discordant parts of my own self getting resolved. that's what i like in my ships and try to achieve in my stories, and nortrell is rich material for that. i just think it's the best when a guy (lando) seeing his friend (max) plausibly triggers a deep and complex emotion, which can best be verbalized like:
only with you, the other half of myself, can i be a fully realized version of myself; everyone in the world sees my weakness, but you alone see my strength; everyone sees my desire to please as if i'm offering myself to be taken, but you secretly wish it were me offering to take you and keep you; you crave my attention even as you watch me offer it to others, but i'd give it to you if i knew you wanted it; you alone make me feel safe, safe enough to be truly confident and free to assert myself, to take what i want, without being mocked for having the audacity to think i had the capacity to lead; you trust me to be control, and i crave that trust to know i'm worthy of being trusted; you want me differently than anyone else does, you know me more completely, and i need to posses you to remind myself who i am and matters most; i know you equally, as if you were an extension my very self; i see your weakness and want to offer you relief and comfort nobody else could; i've made you into my home and i want to play house and care for you like you're mine; i want to fall into your arms and come inside you, and have you hold me close enough to be certain that you're here, you're mine, and we're stable and complete as one.
it's not really typical romantic love as much as being fully entangled as one person, split in half into two. romance to me depends on mystery and the discovery of an other, but here there's no romance involved because you don't have to romance your own limbs, you know? they're already part of you, and you don't have to put in any effort to get to know someone who already knows you better than you know yourself. finally acknowledging that is a relief and resolution of uncertainty into wholeness as they fuck nasty about it, you know?

if the events of m.ass effect 1 were not so time-constrained. shepard would spend the majority of it having the time of his life on pinnacle station
#aka I've been having the time of my life on pinnacle station. i just like beating times. i wanna place these events pre me1#ive been wanting to pad out his military career and i can see him having worked briefly under ahern at some point. i like the idea#actually i wanna go so far as to say that shepard's been to pinnacle station long before me1. as a special forces operative.#maybe during his early n7 training as a volunteer (he'll never say No to more combat) to test the simulator out in its. rougher stages.#can imagine that they squeezed some good data out of it sending him to the infirmary a couple dozen times over...#anyway working on snatching vidinos' gun from him. (shepard proceeds to immediately throw it in the normandys trash compactor)#another day in yappersville ☀️ \` * file: ooc.#to be deleted.#many thoughts to be had...#i also like the idea that shepard hasn't had the Most contact with alien species due to most of his work being alliance-centric but somehow#every time he does work somewhat closely with aliens. it's turians. lmao. i hc the first alien he ever saw as a kid was another turian kid#funnily. probs the species he has Least in common with given the turian community/society oriented mindset vs his Extreme independence#balances it out actually. and now that i say that i think abt the fact that wrex complains abt krogans preferring to go off and fight-#-and do merc work rather than stay and rebuild krogan society and tuchanka. frankly. a lot like shepard's early me1 mindset. he's V krogan
