Remember a couple weeks ago when I asked what we thought the Dancity flag looked like? Well @supyovalk had a genius move saying that, if we imagine Dancity as the New York City of Just Dance, the equivalent of The Big Apple would be The Big Badge, and the flag would be a badge

So I finally drew up a few things and want a vote between the badge styles

Mihaly lives in Cyberfunk?!

So I just came across a message thread on Instagram that I found on the JD Wiki where somebody asked Aurore if Mihaly lives in Dancity or Eternyx, and Aurore said that Mihaly lives in Cyberfunk and is from Eternyx. I honestly don't know what to do with this information.

I still can't believe that Lexy and Eliott are from Dancity, if I'm honest I was hoping it was from Cyberfunk, or rather Virtualscape because that would explain the reason why Eliott is trapped in some kind of core and Lexy is in a strange place.

And I also can't believe that my theory about Training Season taking place at Cyberfunk has come true 😦 (I developed that theory when I saw the preview)

Also, how obsessed is the Just Dance team with putting almost every map in Dancity!?

Dancity headcanons

Dancity is separated into 40 different cities despite them all being connected. Each one of those cities has different laws and ruling governments, the cities are identified by numbers.

Si'ha Nova helps in governing the largest section of Dancity, the 1st city.

Dancity high school is in the 18th city in Dancity, which has the third highest population of the cities.

There is a dance studio that offers free dance lessons to whoever comes Wednesdays and Fridays evenings in the 33rd city.

Luz Solar is in the 1st city and has over 200 central building workers. There is 800 stores in the building each store has their own workers.

None of the cities have free healthcare but the healthcare is so good that people are happy to pay for it.

Dancity has the best education system out of all the danceverses.

The 3rd city has the highest poverty rates out of all the cities in Dancity.

Dancity has the second highest poverty and homelessness rates of the danceverses.

Dancity has the highest population of all the danceverses, and the least diverse population of all the danceverses.

Dancity has the best law enforcement of all the danceverses and the has the second highest crime rates.

The most common crimes in Dancity is murder and theft.

The 4th city has a massive public library that is always open and multiple smaller libraries that are also open 24/7, that city has the highest graduation rates with the best higher education system out of all the cities.

There is a city that is always active no matter the time, it's less a real city and more of a tourist attraction.

Dancity has the highest population of all danceverses.

There is an artificial in the 1st city that is open to the public from 8am-10pm, you can rent it for a day and it will be shut down for the general public.

There is only one electricity plant in all of Dancity, there was once an attempt too build another before they realised that they would need to shut down all the cities power to connect the new power plant to the power grid, so it was cancelled half way through building it and torn down.

Si'ha Nova is the one in charge of law enforcement standards for all of Dancity, all 40 governments have to hold their law enforcement to theses standards if they refuse then someone else replaces whoever was in charge, this has happened at least 5 times.

There is a fake countryside that the citizens of Dancity will pay to get into, some even travel from different cities to go there, it's in the 40th city so for some people it would be cheaper to take a starship to a different danceverse but they won't for the novelty of the fake countryside.

Dancity has the highest air pollution levels of all the danceverses and no one knows how to decease it because of how many factories there is.

The Monarchy of Eternyx.

The monarchy of Eternyx started centuries ago, with the first queen, Regina Hearts, she became queen after uniting all the tribes of monsters under her banner, the capital of her kingdom was Notte, which still is the capital of Eternyx to this day. Regina was known for her philanthropy and being a patron of the arts, which gained her the title of “Mother Monster”, a title that it's given to the queens of Eternyx still to this day. Regina had 3 daughters, Stefani, Joanne and Angelina, and after the death of her mother, Stefani became the queen of Eternyx. Before her death, Regina stated a rule of succession, only women could ascend to the throne, and for over 1200 years, this rule remained mostly unbroken, having a total of 55 queens and 8 kings on the throne.

Royal Houses At first, the only royal house that existed was the Hearts house, but as the time went on, many more royal houses were formed. Some of them were formed because a descendant of Regina became the liege of a certain region, and founded their own dynasty based on that region, or they received a nickname, which would evolve to the name of their own dynasty, or maybe they just changed to their spouse’s last name, here will be listed some of these houses (remembering that all of them can trace their origins back to Regina Hearts)

Main House of Hearts (defunct): The first to be created, for centuries, the Hearts’ dominated Eternyx, but everything changed after the last member of the house, Elizabeth Hearts, died with no children, which led to its extinction, and a minor succession crisis. Shard: The first member of the house was Eleanor Shard (nee Hearts), she was famous for her performances involving glass shards, which led to some people calling her “Miss Shard”, she really liked the nickname, which years later she adopted as her last name and founded her house after it, centuries later, after the death of Elizabeth Hearts, the house of Shard was chosen to be the next leaders of Eternyx, the current queen, Icona, is from this house.

Minor Butterfly: Was named after the dukedom of Butterfly, the current head of the house is Joan Butterfly, who besides being a duchess, is also a performer, Lady Odelia was also once part of this house. Obscure: Named after the light and shadow powers that the members of this house have, the heir to this house is Claire Obscure. Aro’ha’s unknown house: Aro’ha is not interested in Eternyx at the moment, she had fallen in Wackygroove a long time ago and is currently the queen of there, she has no plans on going back. Indra’s family: No additional information is known about.

Extremely minor These houses still have some claimants to the throne, but they are so far away from it, that they aren’t really considerate. Blackthorn: The house of Felicia, Scarlet, and Scotty (adopted) Blackthorn, Felicia is the owner of a Potion shop in Notte, and is the current head of the house. Adameve’s house: No additional information is known about this house. Wayne and Bissett: Branches of the Butterfly house, the members these houses can trace their origins to lady Odelia Butterfly, who moved to Wasterra for a political marriage with liege Adalberto Rosal, they had a child together, but after a rebellion, Odelia and Rosal were killed, and the child was raised by the Bissett family, who had no idea of the child heritage, decades later, the descendants of the child allied with Jae in the current Wasterra civil war, two girls were born during it, Janet and Jane Bisset, the last joined the resistance against Jae, and changed her last name to Wayne, after one of the leaders of the resistance, John Wayne. Rider: The members of this family specialize in shadow manipulation. Dials: No additional information is known. Chase: The Chase’s were a really obscure family, no one knew about their existence until Eva Chase emerged, a famous pop-star and actress (also a burglar, but no one knows that yet), she tried to claim her heritage as a Regina Hearts heir, but her branch in the family tree was so distant, that no one cared about it, and she was ignored, a thing which she didn’t take so kindly…

Is it just me, or does the gameplay for the JD vr look bad/weird. The trailer footage shows your avatar's arms on the screen in front of you while dancing but wouldn't that block your view of the map and making it harder to dance?

Also, the aspect of having your own Avatar in the game seems a little tacked on and unconnected to the main gameplay. Unless you can unlock outfits and accessories or furniture through gameplay as rewards. Otherwise, it just seems irrelevant.

And if that's the case, why stop at Dancity? You could have different server rooms, each themed to a separate danceverse. Players could choose a base room and decorate it with trophies acquired in the game (like the apartment they show in game for Dancity or a small hideout for Wasterra or a Witch's hut for Eternyx).

I don't know if you can do stuff like that on VR. But if they're adding a roleplaying element to the game, they should let players explore more environments and have that correlate to The gameplay.

One wild idea I had with this is being able to unlock songs by exploring the environment. For example, if you choose to explore the school area, you could find songs like vampire, Hit Me Baby One More Time, or thank u, next. Or in Scarlet's Palace you can find songs like Drop the Mambo, Magic or Disco Inferno. It might get people excited to walk around the city more and encourage cooperation and communication to find the songs, like a little scavenger hunt everytime new songs gets added.

Man I regret making this a full render, took me 3 weeks haha, but at least, I liked how it turned out. As a kid and even nowadays, I think she's still very pretty

Although, she and Darius always disturbs and teases each other a lot during dance competitions(they considers each other rivals)
