Unnamed Coaches' Name Headcanons!

Random unnamed coaches and the names I’ve given them. I decided it would be funny if i gave each quotes and quests. I also just gave them all the classic rarity because it would've looked weird without. theres 9 maps and 10 coaches.

1. Freed From Desire: Garnet. I mentioned this in my other drawing of her. I just felt like her being named after a gemstone was fitting, like she just has that air to her. The gemstone itself is believed to bring emotional balance and self confidence, which i think fits with the map.

2. All The Stars: Vega. A while ago I was thinking about avatars for other coaches and I remembered her. Vega is one of the brightest stars in the night sky. maybe she comes from a long line of coaches who use the stars, so she was named after one of the brightest. Side note but i accidentally gave her robes the beta colours, they should be like a purple instead of red.

3 & 4. Love Story: Just straight up Romeo and Juliet. I thought about giving them names that are similar to Romeo and Juliet, but realistically that's what they would be named. I just wanted to draw both of them since Love story is one of my favourite 2022 maps.

5. Blinding Lights extreme: Jayyce Sway but friends and family call him Jayy. I can’t get the idea of him being Talia Sway’s father and him settling down in Wasterra out of my head, plus "Sway" as a last name just sounds futuristic to me. Jayyce is just a corruption of "Jace" that i thought would look futuristic with two ys. I just think he's cool and would be a great father. (you can't really see it but he is smiling here)

6. Giddy On Up: Belle. Another map i miss, its just really fun trying to do those high kicks. Other names i was thinking for her were Andrea and Laura ( after Laura Bell Bundy), but neither sounded country enough for her. Then i thought Annabelle, which i then shortened down to Belle.

7. Follow the White Rabbit: Allison. I didn't want to just straight up call her Alice, unlike how i just gave the love story coaches Romeo and Juliet. Originally i was thinking of spelling it as Alicyn but then went against that. But also it sounds like "Alice In" as in "Alice in Wonderland". Also i know that its the rabbit who says "I'm late!" twice but the quote i was originally giving her didn't really make sense. I rushed this one because intitialy she was in the same pose as one of the gold moves from FTWR but it looked too weird and i wanted to move on. She looks shocked here, i don't want to think about this drawing anymore.

8. John Cena: Jeanne Cena. this is just like the John Wayne coach all over again. You’d pronounce Jeanne like John. It was the obvious choice, and I also just wanted an excuse to draw her. Doubt you'll need her name if you can't even see her in the first place. One of my favourite maps, its just so good.

9. Levitating Extreme: Aster. I was thinking along the lines of Astro for some reason, then the name Aster kept popping up in my head. Turns out Aster means "star" and is also a type of purple flower that is star shaped. Given the space imagery from his background it makes sense.Definitely the type to not tell you his name because he sees no point because he thinks he's disposable (as if Si'ha Nova ever gets attacked).

10. Buscando Extreme: Jacques. I don't know why but he looks french to me, then the name just stuck because i couldn't think of anything else. One of my favourite extremes, at some point in early 2021 i somehow knew most of it off by heart. also i like to think of him as the father of the coach from the classic version. At some point all the male 2021 extremes i'm just going to headcanon as the father of another coach.

So this is what i've been working on. I mentioned the love story, Giddy on up and Blinding lights extreme coaches in previous posts because i was doing this lol.

i did it in the order of JC - BLE - FFD - LE - ATS - FTWR - GOU -BE - LSTV. By the point i got to Buscando extreme i was getting tired of doing this so he along side the love story coaches look fucked up. Given that it was my first time drawing some of them, i didn't really think that they'd look good, since i'm not used to drawing them. But it was good to draw coaches that i haven't drawn before, and draw the ones i have already drawn, again.

I have other things i want to draw next, there's a map concept in my drafts that i want to actually draw so that will probably be my next fanart post.

Jack was supposed to represent Eternyx at the 2023 Showdown but forfeited at the last minute.

Partly because after Night Swan's defeat at the end of ETD, there was a lengthy cleanup process to make sure all former minions get home safely and are sufficiently compensated, he didn't have time to prepare/reherse.

Partly because he knew his mother pulled some strings to ensure his place in the competition and didn't want to benefit from her influence anymore, knowing he didn't earn his dpot rightfully.

You could imagine his shock/horror when his mom's situationship just rocked up mid-show, stealing his spot

Eternyx headcanons!

Night Swan despite being a dictator does not actively rule Eternyx if an issue is brought directly to her she hands it off to Jack to deal with, she is too busy with her take over of the danceverses to rule over Eternyx.

There are very few police in Eternyx because of how much violent crimes there is and no-one wants to put there lives at risk when their families can hardly survive as it is.

There is a total of 5 schools, 2 primary schools and 3 high schools, in Eternyx they are all over filled and understaffed, Jack is trying and failing to get more staff in the five schools and more schools built, Night Swan refuses to give him a budget to do so.

2/3 of teens and children don't have parents and live either in shitty apartments or on the streets, half of them were abandoned because their parents couldn't care for them and the other halves parents are dead. Eternyx has no orphanages for parents to give up their children too.

The people of Eternyx can barely afford to live but Night Swan charges a ridiculous amount of money to travel by starship to a different danceverse so they can't even leave because they can't afford to pay to get on a starship.

Only 3% of people are able to get qualifications when leaving school each year, those qualifications are often low level qualifications, only one or two people will get higher qualifications and get decent jobs.

There is no way to pursue higher education in Eternyx, anyone who has left school and wants to continue learning will end up working for years just to leave Eternyx and that's assuming they aren't leaving to get their basic qualifications in the first place in which case they might never get a job in the first place and will therefore never be able to get qualifications.

There is over 5,000 prisons in Eternyx every one of them holds 1,000 people they are all filled, there is constant break outs because there is maybe 3 guards per prison, the prisons are constantly being raided by citizens because there is food it might be shitty food but it's food and the majority of people or starving they'll take whatever they can get, prison food is better than no food.

The only good thing about Eternyx is that there is free healthcare, it's a recent thing and it only happened because Jack was able to convince Night Swan that no one would pay for healthcare because of how shitty it is, so now people get free healthcare but they do need to pay for medication from pharmacies so she's not really loosing much.

Eternyx is the only danceverse that still has executions, they are very public events that citizens are forced to attend, there are at least 10 a day, if someone is caught not attending an execution then they will be executed so people will leave work, school and appointments just to be just the executions so they won't be in danger.

The public is unaware that Night Swan is kidnapping coaches as far as they are concerned the minions are wilfully working for Night Swan and they don't know she is planning to take over the other danceverses.

The public is also under the impression that Night Swan is working to improve their living situations, she obviously is not trying to fix the problems in Eternyx but the people don't know that. When Night Swan started to rule Eternyx it was in a much worse state than what it currently is in.

Underage drinking is a massive problem once Jack set up a volunteer run program where people would be paid to go into bars and clubs and try to find out the ages of the people there and kick them out if they are underage, it backfired because people would get their friends to sign up for it then they kick each other out get the money then they would go out to an other bar or club the next day, the volunteer system was shut down by the end of the month it was introduced. Mihaly and their friends exploited this system the entire time it was active.

Eternyx only has one large major city that is still standing which is a popular tourist place since it is considered the only place safe in Eternyx, Swan tower is in the centre of that city overlooking the whole city. The city itself looks gorgeous with pink and purple lights all over the place keeping the city bright at all times, Night Swan sends her minions to keep the city clean as well if you don't get distracted by the lights then you will notice that there are homeless people everywhere you look.

Eternyx has the highest poverty and homelessness rates out of all the danceverses by almost 40% more than the next highest.

there is a country side that is beautiful during the winter but no one ever goes to it because of how cold it gets during the winter.

Because of the eternal night Eternyx is always cold.

Cygnus city was destroyed when a factory exploded and caused dangerous chemicals to leak over the entire city.

The dark flow in Eternyx often causes people who don't have a high resistance to it to become incredibly ill and in some cases die.

The Just Dancers go bowling headcanons!

Because I went bowling for one of my best friends birthday today, so of course I have to relate it to my hyper fixation. Also Greedy makes bowling canon so you cannot tell me this group hasn’t gone bowling before.

Wanderlust: I feel like he could go both ways. Either he’s really good at bowling or they turn on the bumpers for him so he doesn’t constantly lose. Not that he’s a sore loser, they just feel bad for him.

Brezziana: She’s the best out of the entire group. Of course she is, she likes sports. I feel like she tries her best to hold back for her friends by giving herself funny little handicaps but still ends up winning most of the time.

Mihaly: They’re better at Wii Sports bowling than at actual real life bowling, but that’s okay because we all are. I feel like they do bowl with their own earbud in because the music at the alley’s usually isn’t their taste.

Sara: Sara is the most experienced bowler, as bowling alleys are way more common on Earth rather than in the Danceverses. This makes her a little better, but I feel like she would get a little shy mid way through and that would effect her scores.

Jack Rose: He has never gone bowling before he met his friends, so they had to teach him. He started out with bumpers and everything, but when he got the hang of it he really got the hang of it. Even giving Brezziana a run for her money once or twice.

Theory about Sara's destiny, and her potential family:

So, in regards to Just Dance's story mode, I think I have an idea of how Sara's arc will finish. In Hebrew, Sara translates to "princess," and Wanderlust is, of course, the prince of the Danceverse. Notably, Sara also has this on her chest:

A triangle. Who else has triangle motifs? Wanderlust and The Traveler. I believe that Sara could potentially be Wander's long-lost sister, who Si'ha and Traveler sent to Earth to protect her from Night Swan, since she was already targeting Wander from his youth (headcanon). I've seen people say in CSTF that they give major brother/sister vibes.

Now, even if the two aren't actually related, it could still foreshadow Sara's destiny: being the true Chosen One, and becoming princess of the Danceverse.

We also can see from Wander's avatar bio, that he resents being the Chosen One, so who's to say that the story mode won't end with him going to live a new life on Earth (maybe with Jack) while Sara rules over the Danceverse?

But that's just my theory. Thoughts?

Night Talia

I know i said that i wasn't going to do this, because it would've been the same as when i drew her in the rep bodysuit. Now there's a new rep body suit, so yeah (well i went for purple feathers instead of the black and gold). She's just staring into your soul, whilst typing i'm scared to look up.

Unlike with my Night Kapyy design, i knew what i wanted this to look like going in, so i didn't create multiple concepts. I knew i wanted the bodysuit and the big poofy jacket (half on half off). Then i styled her hair off of the Repution album cover. Then the jacket, i was sorta thinking about the one from the eras tour midnights set.

Personality wise, Angry thats it. Will pick fights at random. Interferes with tv signals, because for some reason my main take away from the map for IKYWT was that she's projecting her memories on the screens unknowingly. I Said that Kapyy would have the mouth of a sailor if he was corrupted, Talia would be even worse. She would also be able to destroy you with one word whilst like this. Stay tuned for when i draw the two together like this.

Has a very close relationship with the Moves Like a Jagger crew, and always invite them to participate and help on her club

Although, she and Darius always disturbs and teases each other a lot during dance competitions(they considers each other rivals)

Mick and Oliver likes to tease them to get together already, Jess and Darius always gets mad at them (although, they have a rivals with benefits moments, but both denies their feelings)

Sometimes, she can be very blunt and doesn't have much pacience(she likes to appear intimidating)

Idk if I'm the first to point this out, but let's have a look at Lysander for a second-

Interesting design choices. I can't help but notice three specific elements though...

Huh, "dream on" is an oddly specific phrase, isn't it?

Same with this necklace. That doesn't immediately connect to the song, or to the lore about the Flow Moon. At least not that I can tell...

And what's with the face paint? That's not something you see every day, now is it?

Okay, now where am I going with all this? Well... Isn't there a coach that canonically messes with people's dreams? Doesn't that coach only have one eye?

And come to think of it, there's another coach canonically tied to her, who is also known to sport that kind of odd-looking face paint...

Anyway just some food for thought
