Of all the side quests and smaller stories tangled in ATLA I really, really hope that they keep the Freedom Fighters in Ba Sing Se and let Jet try to recruit Zuko.

And if they absolutely decide to change something... Then maybe, just maybe could they let Jet live? Please. Just planting that idea in case anyone is listening. Or just give us alternative ways for them to interact so there is at least more canon material I can use as inspiration for my fics.

If nothing else just keep the ferry scene of these two staring into the distance while talking. All I'm asking for is breadcrumbs here.
