Aight, got a new one for you guys -> Heat of the Moon
Minthara is taking a lovely and relaxing bath in the rented suite in the Elfsong. As Shadowheart returns home from an evening walk, she distracts Minthara from her lovely bath and pulls her attention elsewhere. And Minthara just can't keep her hands to herself.
This is nothing but pure smut as I have been in a very smutty mood lately and I just had to get this out of my head. This was inspired after a rather enlightening conversation I had with a mutual. Safe to say, I've gotten a bit more comfortable with writing smut.
Enjoy!
Edit: Had to update the link to the fic, something got borked with the original upload.

PART I
Bangchan x reader. (s,a)
Chapters: Part II / Part III / Final.
Synopsis: Having issues to break up with your boyfriend, you seek help from the boy next door and the number one fuckboy in the area, Chan. (10k words)
Author's note: I went through a nasty break up a few weeks ago and this is basically just me trying to cope by being delulu about having a fuckboy Chan as a neighbor. Enjoy x
It becomes a habit now that Chan doesn't know where he is when he wakes up in the morning.
The first thing that he'll do is retrace everything to last night. He was DJ-ing at a club, had a few drinks in between, met a girl who was eyeing him the whole night, had a few more drinks, there was a little touching and a quick makeout session in the dark alley and people can guess what happens after that
So this is where he is right now, the girl's bedroom and he can recall everything that happened last night except the girl's name.
"Fuck!" Chan mutters under his breath.
Judging from how bright the sun is outside, he knows he only has a little window to make his escape so he quickly gets off the bed as calmly as possible. He then tiptoes around to gather his clothes and put them on without making any noise.
However, he fails at it as the head from his belt hits the bed frame and the clanging of metal meets metal echoing in the room.
The girl steers on her sleep and rolls over to the side, she brushes her hair away from her face, catching Chan putting his belt on.
The plan to make a quick getaway has come to a failure but he keeps his cool, continuing to buckle his belt and then plants his hands on each side of his waist.
"Morning," He awkwardly says with a forced smile.
"Morning," the girl replies with a smile then props an elbow against the mattress, sending the duvet sliding down her body and exposing her bare chest to him.
Chan might have been a little drunk when he met her but damn, his fuckboy radar works well even under the influence of alcohol.
"You're leaving already?" She asks, flipping her hair to the back to expose more of those beautiful mounds to him.
Chan has to tell his pervy brain to focus actively, he looks away and picks up his jacket from the floor.
"I promised a friend to help him move out today," He lies, then pretends to check the time on his phone, "And I'm kind of late."
The girl nods then twirls her hair around her finger, "Well then... when can I see you again?"
"I hope soon," Chan says with his charming grin that disguises the insincerity in his answer.
The girl smiles at that which confirms that the grin works, "But seriously, I can't wait to see you again," she says.
"I'll call you," he says because that's what he can promise her at the moment but whether he'll do it or not is uncertain.
"But you don't have my numbers yet," she says with her eyebrows wrinkled in suspicion.
"No, I'm sure you already did," he says, convincing her by scrolling the contacts on his phone.
"Yup. I have your numbers already," he lies again, showing her a random contact on his phone for a quick second.
"But my name is Thalia," she says, cleverly catching the name on the contact.
"Yes, of course, you're Thalia," he says with utmost confidence and his ultimate weapon of a dimpled smile.
The girl seems alarmed though. She sits up on the bed and clutches the duvet close to her chest, "We're going to see each other again, right Chris?"
"Yes," he answers without a beat, and at this point, lying is as easy as breathing to him.
"Can I get a kiss before you leave?"
"Sure," he says, coming around the bed to give her a quick peck on the lips.
The girl smiles when he lets go and watches as he walks to the doorway, "I'll call you, Tanya."
"It's Thalia," she corrects him with an apparent displeasure on her face.
Chan shoves his phone into the pocket of his jeans and takes the time to properly bid her goodbye. Nothing a girl likes more than a sweet mouth and a little assurance, he'll give her exactly that.
"I'll see you soon, Thalia," Chan says with a smile.
"See you soon, Chris," and the girl naively believes him, if only she knew that this will be the last time they're seeing each other.
Yet again, Chan makes another successful getaway.
-
The warm weather of spring makes it a pleasant walk from the bus stop to his apartment building. He wants to stop somewhere for breakfast but his head feels heavy from the hangover, he just wants to go home as soon as possible, have a bowl of cereal then take an aspirin for the pounding headache.
In the lobby, he makes a quick stop to collect his mail and takes a quick check at it, sorting them out on the spot so he knows which ones he should bring upstairs.
From the corner of his eyes, Chan catches his neighbor, you with your boyfriend chatting by the elevator. He notices the gestures, the expression, and the whole interaction, it doesn't take a genius to know that something is going on there that the naked eyes can't see.
Chan throws the unnecessary mail into the trash bin nearby and walks to the elevator, hearing the little conversation going on between you and your boyfriend.
"...the waffles were delicious. We should have breakfast there again," the boyfriend says as he looks at you, "What do you think?"
"Yeah," you meekly answer while looking at the little screen that shows the floor the elevator is stopping in.
Chan tries to remain invisible but his eyes accidentally make contact with your boyfriend so he may as well make his presence known.
"Hi, neighbor," he greets, he knows your name but you seem to prefer to be called that way.
You do what you always do whenever you meet each other in the building, give him a quick judging look and a courteous smile.
"And hi neighbor's boyfriend," he greets your boyfriend next.
"Hi," your boyfriend greets back, "Chris, isn't it?"
"Yes and you are Lee," Chan responds.
"Right. So how was your Friday night?" Lee initiates a small talk.
"I believe it wasn't as good as yours," Chan playfully answers.
"Oh, we just stayed in and watched a movie, right baby?" Lee says, putting his arm around your shoulder.
All of a sudden, you take a step forward and say, "It's here."
The elevator doesn't chime until a moment later but you seem to be more than eager to get in. You turn around to give your boyfriend a quick hug.
"I'll try to leave early so we can have dinner together," Lee says with a quick kiss on the cheek.
"It's okay. Take your time," you say with a faint smile.
Chan quietly gets into the elevator and holds the door open for you, he tries not to look at what's happening in front of him not out of politeness but it's just painful to watch.
"I'll call you," Lee adds, catching your hand as you enter the elevator and kissing it.
"Okay," you say then wave your hand at him.
To help you get out of it, Chan releases his finger off the buttons and sends the doors sliding shut.
"Bye, baby," Lee says for the last time before the doors completely close.
It's just another awkward elevator ride with you and he'll usually try to endure it but after watching all that and trying not to say anything is hard, he can't help but impose.
He glances at you to check whether you're ready to hear about what he has to say but you always have the same stoic expression. Then it occurs to him that he has never seen you smile impolitely or out of joy, or even hear your laugh, but maybe after you hear what he's about to say, he'll get to see a different facial expression on you.
"Oh, man! That was painful to watch," he sighs as he keeps looking straight ahead at his reflection in the shiny furnace of the elevator.
There's no one else in the elevator so you're fully aware that he's talking to you but you don't respond until a while later.
There you go, with your judging look and stoic expression, looking at him as you say, "Excuse me?"
Chan doesn't want to sound rude but beating around the bush isn't his thing, he prefers to be straightforward. He knows it's all based on assumptions but he's pretty sure his judgements are pretty accurate.
He's going to just do it and lay out the facts, he turns to the side, then leans his back against the cold surface of the elevator.
"Your shoulder tightens when he called you baby and the fact you lied about the breakfast tells me that you didn't actually like his choice of restaurant," he pauses to let out a cynical chuckle, "the waffles weren't that good, I guess?"
When he wants to see a different facial expression on you, he doesn't mean seeing your angry one, but oh well, the damage has been done.
"Because I'm a good girlfriend that's why I let him choose the restaurant," you become defensive all of a sudden but that's an unconvincing answer.
"No, you let him choose out of pity," he simply remarks, "And just now, your nostrils flared when I pointed it out."
With all of these signs combined with his personal experiences, Chan narrows it out to one conclusion. He looks at you in the eyes and says, "You're about to break up with him, don't you?"
It looks like you've been slapped right on the face except that the slap doesn't come from someone, it's from the truth that comes out of Chan's unfiltered mouth and he instantly regrets it for meddling in in someone else's business.
"I'm sorry, but why are we having this conversation?" You ask, crossing your arms together in front of you.
"It's not like you're any better. You slept around, you're scared of commitment and now, sticking your nose at my business. You are the kind of person that I deeply despise!" You angrily say with your chest heaving.
It seems like you're saying all of those things about him out of anger because he sees right through you but now he knows why you always give him that judging look. He's the one who started it so yeah, okay, maybe he deserves that but that doesn't change the truth. The problem is what he said and your response, they're heading in the opposite direction.
"I think someone has her panties in a twist," Chan coyly responds.
"Look, there's nothing wrong with wanting to break up. That doesn't make you a bad person," he adds and decides to end the talk right there.
It gets quiet in this enclosed space and it's already suffocating as it is but how lucky that he has to patiently wait for the elevator to ride through three more floors to get out of here.
When the elevator finally dings open, Chan lets out a breath he doesn't know he's been holding but he's not the one in a hurry to exit both this space and the situation. He stays where he is and lets you out first.
When he thinks you don't have anything else to say, you stop right outside the elevator and look at him with a piercing gaze.
"Don't, for one second, think that you had any effect whatsoever on my panties!" You emphasize every word in anger, then storm off.
Know what? Maybe Chan should skip the bowl of cereal and take two aspirin instead. As for you, maybe you need to chill the fuck out.
-
Just because you've been neighbors with Chan for the past three years doesn't mean that you know each other on a personal level.
All you know about him is that he's a DJ which explains why there's always music playing in his apartment, he always wears a sleeveless top to showcase his muscles, and he always has a stupid grin on to show off the stupid dimples on his stupid face, an annoying Australian accent and from how many times you caught different girls taking a walk of shame out of his apartment, it's safe to say that he's the number one fuckboy in the area
So how dare he say all of that stuff in the elevator when he doesn't know anything about you at all? Moreover, what does a fuckboy like him know about relationships?
It shouldn't be hard to ignore because it's something you usually do but gosh, the memory of the conversation still vexed you a few days later.
Then it hits you that it bothers you so much because deep down, you know what he said is true. You've been wanting to break up with your boyfriend and hearing that comes from someone outside that relationship only solidified that thought.
There's nothing wrong with your boyfriend, Lee is nice, too nice even, and when you think about it, maybe that is the problem, he is too nice and that leads you to another problem, you don't know how to break up with him without hurting his feelings.
But you know who can help you with that? Someone who has a lot of experience in breaking up with people.
Oh, what a joy that you find the answer right across your door!
Before you get to ask for his help though, you're fully aware that there's another thing to do and there's no other way to do it but walk up to his apartment, knock on his door, and apologize.
As you're standing there in front of his apartment door, you're dreading it. All sorts of thoughts crossed your head like why did you have to be so riled up that time in the elevator? Why did you have to say that thing about the panties? Just why? Ugh!
Let's just get it over with, you mutter inside your head.
With hesitant hand, you knock on his door and then hold the urge to turn around and run back to your apartment. You let yourself take a step back as you wait for him to come for the door.
Do not open the door, do not open the door, you chant inside your head while tapping your foot against the floor. However, things are not always going the way you want.
The door swings inward and a second later, Chan appears with disheveled hair and he only has one arm in the sleeve of his t-shirt, then you spot a girl's shoes next to his feet.
Oh no, please don't say you're coming at the wrong time.
You reflexively take another step back but he grabs your forearm and then opens the door wider, showing you that there's a girl there.
"It's my neighbor, she's here to remind me about the tenant meeting," he says to her.
The girl looks at you rather suspiciously and crosses her arms together in front of her as she glares at Chan.
"No. Don't you dare try to get out of this, Chris!"
"But it's true. We have to leave now," Chan says, then gives you a look that tells you to lie along with him, "Right?"
Running a quick assessment of the situation, you're certain that Chan is trying to get himself out of it to avoid having a difficult conversation with the beautiful lady. You hate to be the accessory to his crime but if this means that it would help you earn his forgiveness...
"The pigeons!" You make up a lie on the spot.
"The pigeons are ruining our rooftop garden so we held this urgent tenant meeting," you add with what you hope is a convincing smile.
"Oh, those damn pigeons!" Chan heavily sighs with a phony expression.
The lie makes your throat dry and your cheeks hurt from forcing a smile, you have to keep it going as the lady considers whether to believe that the tenant meeting is true or not.
Chan grabs his jacket from the clothes hook and puts it on, "We'll continue this later, okay?" He says to her.
Without waiting for her answer, he gets out of the door and drags you with him to go to your apartment. Once both of you get inside, he immediately closes the door behind him and lets out a long sigh.
"Oh, wow!" He exclaims once he realizes that he's inside your apartment.
He allows himself further inside and leisurely walks around your apartment, checking your kitchen, trailing his fingers on your book collection on the shelf, and observing the potted plants lining up on the window sill.
He walks back to the middle of the room and takes another 360-degree look around the apartment, then nods in approval.
"So, this is what the inside of your apartment looks like," he says in a cryptic tone.
Not sure if he wants you to respond to that or if should respond at all. You choose to remain silent and only respond when his intentions are intelligible.
Chan then sits on the sofa, making himself comfortable, and looks at you, then at what you're holding in both hands.
"Is that for me?"
The jar of cookies you've been unknowingly holding in your hands is a token of apology and it is for him.
"Yes, it is for you," you say, handing it to him with both hands.
"I'm sorry about the other day," you sincerely apologize, but you know you have to let him know what you're apologizing for, "for what I've said to you. I'm terribly sorry."
"Well, since you're helping me with the uh... situation," he coyly says as he scratches his eyebrow, "consider us even."
See? That wasn't so hard. You feel bad for lying to the girl but at least, you've been forgiven.
"Thank you," you add with a smile.
Chan doesn't say anything else but opens the lid and takes a cookie out of the jar. He gets comfortable on the sofa, sitting slumped with his legs spreading wide, and then he takes a big bite of the cookie.
It doesn't take long for him to notice that you have something else to say to him other than an apology.
Before he gets to it, you force yourself to start speaking.
"So, Chris..." you call, then abruptly stop talking. You suddenly have a second thought about asking for his help.
"What's up?" He asks while chewing on his cookie.
It's at the tip of your tongue but your mouth feels like they're sewn shut. You clasp your hands together and muster up the courage to just blurt it out.
"Do you want something to have with the cookies?"
You swear you plan on asking for his help but somehow, your mouth saying a different thing.
"Milk would be nice," he answers.
"Milk. Yes, I have milk," you awkwardly say, slowly making your way to the kitchen like a walking dead.
You take a carton of milk from the fridge and while pouring it into a glass, you're scolding yourself for being so cowardly.
After taking a moment to take a deep breath and muster up the courage to ask, you walk back to the sofa with the glass of milk in hand. With a smile, you hand it to him.
"Thank you," he says, his eyes catching something in your eyes.
You immediately break the eye contact and take another step back, standing and watching him finish his third cookie then wash it down with a sip of milk.
"I hope you don't mind that I'm going to stay here until the girl leaves my apartment," he informs.
"Oh?" You meekly gasp.
"But I can leave if you're uncomfortable," he says as he sits straight on the sofa.
"No, it's fine," you shortly reply, "Take your time."
"Okay, thanks," he says, reclining back on the sofa and continues munching on the cookies.
You can't decide if he stays longer than you expected is a good thing or not. You use the opportunity to reconsider it and walk to the kitchen to get out of his sight.
"Do you need help or not?" You quietly ask yourself as you pour yourself a glass of water.
Why is it so hard? He's right there. All you need is to go and ask for his help.
The water sloshes out of the glass as you fill it too full and you reflexively back away to avoid getting water all over the front of your dress.
"Everything good there?" Chan asks in a slight panic.
That's it! Enough time has passed from overthinking it! You walk up to him and just do it.
"You're right," you blurt out, "I've been wanting to break up with my boyfriend."
Sensing that it turns serious, Chan slows down his chewing and puts away the cookie jar. You expect the I-told-you-so grin on his face but no, he looks saddened instead.
"Things aren't working out," you openly share with a sad sigh.
You take a seat on the ottoman facing the sofa and sadly sigh, "I've been wanting to break up with him for a week now but I just don't know how."
"How long you've been dating each other?"
"Three years," you answer.
"Wow," Chan lowly gasps in awe.
Three years is not a short time, he understands why you hesitate to break up and it isn't an easy decision either.
"I need your help," you hopelessly say, unintentionally becoming vulnerable in front of him.
"My help?"
"Help me how to break up with him," you further explain.
"Of all people, why me?" He asks in utter confusion.
It's hard to answer that without being rude, you decide to let him process the question until it leads him to the answer. After a while, he lets out a dry chuckle and nods, "Okay, yeah. Make sense."
Chan takes another minute to accept the fact that his help is needed because he knows how to break up with someone without feeling awful about it afterward.
"I guess you want to let him down gently?"
"Yes," you answer.
"Well..." he inflates his cheeks then lets the air out through his pursed lips, "You can break up with him through a text."
Which part of 'let him down gently' did he not understand? How is it a good idea to break up through a text? But okay, it's just one suggestion, you give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Who knows he'll come up with better suggestions.
"I'm sorry. No, I can't do that," you kindly refuse his suggestion.
"You can send it when he's sleeping," he adds.
Oh, God! He gives you an even worse suggestion instead of better ones. You know what? This is a bad idea and you regret asking for his help.
"I don't—" You stop yourself from talking and get up from your seat.
"I'll just check if the lady is still..." Your words trail off as you walk towards the door and check through the peephole first, then you get out of the door to check his apartment next.
"Hello? Excuse me?" You shout from the doorway but no one is answering you.
You take it the lady has left and walk back to your apartment to deliver the news to the rightful owner of the apartment.
"She already left," you tell him.
Chan lets out a sigh and closes the cookie jar, he finishes the milk to its last drop and then gets up from the sofa.
"Thank you for the cookies and the milk," he says with his signature grin.
"No worries," you reply, trying so hard to hide the disappointment in your voice.
Chan holds the cookie jar in one arm and takes a step closer to you, "if you need help on how to write breakup texts, I'm just across the hall," he says.
You don't respond to that but keep a smile on for him as to seem polite.
"And good luck!" He says with gentle pats on your shoulder.
The second he walks out the door, you collapse onto the sofa and dread it even more than before. Turns out, asking for his help is not helping at all.
The next day, you meet him as you collect your mail in the lobby and it's hard to ignore him when his mailbox is next to yours.
"G'day!" Chan greets you as he leans the side of his body against the wall while sorting his mail.
"Good day!" You respond and hurriedly walk toward the elevator. You push the button to summon it to the lobby and hope it comes soon enough for you to avoid talking to Chan.
Of course, things don't go as you want it. He comes just in time for the elevator about to arrive, he crumples a few letters in his hand into a ball and then tosses it into the trash bin.
"How did it go?" He asks.
"Pardon?" You nonchalantly respond.
Good thing that the elevator chimes open and you can pretend to forget about what he asked you a while ago. You get inside while clutching your mails in hands in front of you but it's not safe yet as you have to share the elevator ride with him.
"So... the break-up texts? Did you do it?" He asks again, going to the corner of the elevator and leaning his back against it.
"Chris, I think you can't just end a three-year relationship with a text," you put it as nicely as you can.
"Yeah, I reckon," he innocently answers.
It seems like Chan can't tell the difference between what is easy and what is right. It isn't a good idea in the first place to ask for help from someone like him who doesn't consider other people's feelings except his own.
"What are you going to do then?" He asks, shifting his weight on one leg.
Since his help is not helping at all, you have no answer to that yet. This should be something you have to figure out on your own in the first place.
"I'll figure it out," you not-very-convincingly answer.
Chan crosses his arms in front of him, making the muscles and veins on his arms more evident under the fluorescent light of the elevator.
"Lee seems like a nice guy," he remarks with a deep inhale of air.
Well, if you have to compare your boyfriend to Chan, then yes, Lee is a really nice guy. Lee excels in a lot of things, including how to treat a person with feelings.
"Yes," you settle with a simple answer.
"A drawn-out break up is only going to end in a big scene," he says, "Just saying."
Chan has a point. It's worse to prolong the pain for both you and Lee, you can't keep pretending that the relationship works and it's unfair that you keep Lee oblivious about all this.
"We can practice, you know," he offers.
"Practice?"
"On how you're going to break up with him," he explains.
He comes up with a better suggestion this time and is almost endearing even but again, he wouldn't know how a person with real feelings reacts to a break-up which makes you unsure if the practice would be any help.
The elevator is about to arrive anyway so you decide to skip on responding to his offer. Once it chimes, the doors part open and you take the first turn to get out with Chan getting off after you. You turn to the left to your apartment while he turns right. You take the key out of your pocket to unlock the door and push your way in while clutching your mail close to your chest.
"You know where to find me if you need help," Chan says just before you close the door to your apartment.
Hard pass, you answer in your head but you put on a smile for his kind offer, then close the door
-
Okay, you admit it. You were too haste when you said that you didn't need his help. You were doing fine for these past few days, you've been avoiding meeting your boyfriend to give you some more time to think of the best way to break the news to him until he calls you.
The phone rings and you just stare at it, considering whether to pick it up or not. If you pick it up, that means you have to lie to him and if you don't, it'll alert him that things are, in fact, not okay.
The latter seems like a better idea so you pick it up after taking a long, deep breath.
"Hi, baby. Am I calling you at the wrong time?"
Not entirely wrong but it would be nice if he didn't call you, you answer in your head.
"Yeah, sorry, I was in the bathroom," you lie.
"Coconut shrimp for dinner. What do you think?" he asks out of the blue.
"That sounds nice," you easily respond.
"I know you'll like it but, babe, do you mind getting us a bottle of wine on the way?
"I'm sorry?" You ask in confusion.
"For our dinner, remember?" he answers, "I'll cook tonight we'll be having dinner at mine."
You hardly paid attention to him because your mind was always elsewhere, you couldn't remember saying yes to the dinner but you did and it must be out of pity.
"No, of course, I remember, I'm just..." you rake your brain to think of something to say.
"I thought it was next week," you lie again with an awkward chuckle.
"You silly!" Lee says, "Aren't you glad that I called, huh?"
"So glad," you lie, again and again.
"I should start prepping the ingredients so they'll be ready when you get here," he says, his voice exuding enthusiasm.
"Okay."
"Don't forget the wine!"
"I won't."
"I can't wait to see you, baby," he sweetly says.
The lies are piling up so may as well add another one to the pile, "Me too."
"I love you, bye."
Don't think you can lie your answer to that, you gulp air, "Bye," you say to the phone, then quickly hang up.
Desperate times call for desperate measures and you don't know your desperate measure means knocking on your neighbor's door. Probably because you hate to admit that you need his help.
Not long after, Chan opens the door and his head pops out from the gap, "What's up?"
"My boyfriend just called and tonight, we'll be having dinner in his place," you blabber in panic.
It takes a second for him to process it then his face turns a little surprised, "What are we going to do then?" He asks in confusion.
You may be in dread but you catch the error in his question, "We? Now, you got your panties in a twist," you tell him.
"Shame on you!" He responds with a sly grin then opens the door wider and shows himself dressed in nothing but a white towel hanging low around his hips.
He puts one arm against the doorframe and leans close to you as he says, "Cause I'm not wearing any panties right now."
You should have noticed it from his wet hair and the beads of water rolling down his neck, and now that you're seeing the whole of it, your eyes immediately following where the beads of water going, they're going down the outline of his abs and eventually, to where they're all gathered as his pelvic bones leading down to one way: down south.
However, your instinctive reaction goes against what you're actually feeling inside.
"Ugh!" You groan and turn to the side, "Put some clothes on and I'll see you at my place!"
Without waiting for his answer, you rush back to your apartment and close the door behind you as fast as possible, then you rest your back against it.
The images of his naked body flashing through your head, his glistening wet pale skin, and how some parts of his body are blotchy red around the neck and chest. You get flustered all of a sudden, you immediately press the back of your hand to your cheek and you can feel them heating.
"Get it together!" You scold yourself.
After waiting for almost fifteen minutes, Chan finally comes knocking on your door like it's a musical instrument.
"Are you dressed?" You ask with your hand on the doorknob.
"Hardly," he jokes.
You peek through the peephole and see that he's already dressed to what you can say is his usual attire of dark short pants with a matching sleeveless top, showing off his bulging biceps. You open the door to let him in and he coyly walks in, treating your place like it's his own, sitting on your sofa with his legs spreading wide.
"Okay, so, why am I here?"
You stand in front of him with your hands clasped in front of you, "I've been lying to him the whole phone call and honestly, I've been doing it since the moment I decided that I want to break up with him, and I... I don't think I can lie to him again."
It's easy to admit your mistakes to him because he barely knows you and his opinions about you won't matter that much to you.
"I need to do it tonight," you hopelessly say.
"I take it you need my help to practice your break-up speech?"
You hate that he guesses it right but it's also convenient that you don't have to beat around the bush to ask for it. But first, you try to explain the situation as much as possible so he has ideas on what you're facing here.
"Lee is a man of many emotions and I'm not exaggerating when I say he'll likely cry," you inform.
Chan's forehead wrinkles as he processes this piece of information then stifles a nod. It seems like he still has no idea what you want him to do about it.
"I think it's less painful if you acknowledge the dumpee feelings," you blatantly explain.
"Okay, I got you. Let's practice!' He says, sitting up straighter on the sofa and then putting his hands on his knees.
It's just a practice but your anxiety takes over you not just mentally but also physically as your palms get sweaty. You wipe them down your jeans and take a breath.
"Lee," you call him by your boyfriend's name, and even though it's weird that you're roleplaying, you continue, "I want to break up with you."
Chan looks at you and gets quiet for a moment, "Wow. I'm in utter shock and it makes me very sad to hear that," he says with a rather serious tone.
Not the kind of reaction Lee would likely pull off but that will do if you decide to continue with it.
"I'm fully aware that this is so sudden but I've been thinking hard about it for some time and I think this is a decision that I should take," you say and you know it's a practice but you feel something caught in your throat.
"I'm sad and I need time to process it, but I'll be okay," he calmly says.
Chan gets the tone right but you believe breaking up wouldn't be this easy in real life, especially when there are real feelings to protect. To be honest, you're not ready to face the truth that you may hurt those feelings tonight.
"I think that went very well," Chan says, returning to his default settings.
"Yeah, I think that's it," you meekly say.
The worries and sadness are drawn on your face that Chan can easily see through your veiled expression, "If Lee is as nice as you said he is, then you shouldn't worry much," he says.
He waits until your eyes meet his to continue, "He may get surprised or shocked even, but he'll come around and respect your decision."
You can't believe that those words are coming out of his mouth or that he even tries to comfort you, but you appreciate it. Maybe his heart is still there, he just doesn't let it control him most of the time.
He gets up from the sofa and walks up to you, he takes your hands, ignoring how cold and sweaty they feel in his, "You got this," he assures you.
"Thank you, Chris," you sincerely say with a sad smile.
It is time to stop torturing both you and Lee with lies and forcing yourself to believe that the love is still there. It's time to accept the truth that if you can fall in love, you can also fall out of love.
-
It's a surprise that Chan worries about things that aren't his business. He's been playing some music to distract him from his head but he keeps the volume low because he doesn't want to miss hearing the sound of the elevator that will tell him any signs that you're back from the dinner.
Eventually, he tires himself out from worrying and falls asleep on the sofa. He startles always close to midnight after hearing the knocking on his doors.
Half disoriented, he trudges his way to open the door and finds you there, surprisingly, looking nice in a white cotton dress and your eyes dry.
But from the way you let yourself into his apartment, forgetting your impeccable manners and walking with shoulders slumped and carrying your shoes in your hands, he takes it that you did it.
"So... how did it go?" He carefully asks, following you as you're making your way to the sofa and then sitting on it.
You let a heavy sigh and your shoulders slumped even more, "At least, there's no crying," you answer with a sad smile.
Chan is unsure of how to react to that, is that a good thing or a bad thing? He just stands there with his arms crossed on his chest, thinking out loud.
"And even though it was ending... it was incredibly meaningful to me and I'm going to miss him," you say with your lips trembling.
Oh, no, Chan knows when a girl is about to cry, he quickly finds a remedy to it, one that he knows always works wonders for him. He runs to the kitchen and brings a bottle out of his alcohol stash, then hands it to you.
"Let's have a drink!" He says, realizing that he forgot the glass.
"Wait another second, I'll get the glass," he says, sprinting to retrieve two glasses from his kitchen cabinet.
When he returns, he sees that you're chugging the alcohol straight from the bottle. You gasp and then wince from the bitter aftertaste of it.
"Okay, straight from the bottle it is," he says, popping onto the sofa next to you.
You wipe your mouth with the back of your hand and then hand the bottle to him in which he wastes not another second to take a sip of it.
"The thing is... I really care about him but he wanted to get married, and I'm just not ready for that," you share with your eyes blank and looking at the void.
You take a deep breath but it seems like it only sends your heart sinking deeper and deeper, and making it harder for you to breathe.
"And if I'm not ready with a guy as great as him then what if I'm never ready?" You say, turning your head his way with your eyes glassy, pooling with tears.
"What if that was it..." you lift your shoulders then drop them as you let out a low sigh, "my one chance at love?"
The tears start streaming down your face like a bursting dam and Chan knows he can't do anything about it but let them out.
Hearing your words makes him think about what his idea of love is. He used to think that it was something he could get whenever he wanted it but now he knows that he's wrong, because that's just a short-lived infatuation, just some sort of meaningless connection.
From you, he learns that love is a privilege that not everyone can experience.
"What if I never get a second chance?" You ask him the question that he doesn't know the answer to.
"I don't know. I'm just sad," your voice cracks, then you break into tears.
Chan is quick to catch you into his arms and offers you his embrace. He knows he can't do anything about this sadness but he can try to soothe the pain, he's placing gentle rubs on your back as you cry into his chest.
The cry is resounding in this space, echoing the sadness back to you and it makes him inexplicably sad too, and he gets the urge to make it stop.
"It's going to be alright," he murmurs at the top of your head.
You look up with your eyes wet and red with tears caught in your lashes, "Is it?" You croak.
He doesn't know when but he knows for sure that time heals everything.
"It will be," he answers with a gentle caress of his knuckle on your wet cheek, "eventually."
Your eyes tell some more assurance for him and he doesn't know what drives him to do it, but he leans in, then kisses you.
To his surprise, you kiss him back and he knows you're doing it because you seek his comfort and he wants to give you exactly that. He wraps his arms around you and pulls you close, giving you that closeness you seek. He kisses you ever so softly because he knows he's kissing a broken heart and he wants to mend it. He can taste your sadness and the bitterness of it, and also the relief underlying all of it. As he kisses you, he lets his heart open just enough to take some of that sadness away from yours.
As the kiss deepens, the sadness withers, and something else emerges. Chan loses in it for a bit until he realizes what you're trying to do with your hand that reaches for the front of his jeans.
He abruptly detaches his lips from yours and shakes his head, "No, we can't do this," he says.
As much as he fancies you enough to have sex with you, he knows better not to do it when you're not in your right mind and your judgments are clouded with sadness. The last thing he wants is you waking up in the morning full of regrets.
"I want this, Chris," you croak.
"No, we can't," he adamantly says and takes your hand away from him.
"You're sad. You do want this," he says in an effort to put some sense into you.
You roughly crumple the front of his t-shirt and pull him close, "I want– No, I need this, Chris," you say to him with your eyes dark like two bottomless pits.
"Please?" You plead as a tear rolls down from the corner of your eye.
This is the most hopeless he ever heard of you and it breaks his heart. You said it yourself, you need this and he knows what you mean by that. You need the distraction, you need him to take this pain away even just for a fleeting moment, moreover, he can't break what's already broken.
He takes your hand off of his clothes and puts it in his, he leans in until his forehead is pressed against yours.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asks once again.
"Yes," you answer without a beat.
That's all Chan needed to hear, he inhales air and puts an inch between your faces. He then tenderly holds your face with both hands and looks at you, unsure where to start but maybe, he can start by making those tears coming out of your eyes.
Chan dabs the tears pooling in the corner of your eyes with his knuckle and without the slightest of hesitancy, he places a gentle kiss on each of your closed eyelids and before you can open them, he captures your lips in a kiss.
Sex is not something new to him but Chan knows that this time is not about physical fulfillment, but a way to offer comfort and hopefully, to also mend your broken heart.
He takes his time to strip away every piece of clothing on you until you're bare, lying on the bed with nothing but sadness that fills your heart.
He touches you with utmost gentleness, using just his fingertips to feel the softness of your skin and you're so pliant, sensitive to his touch.
To make it fair, Chan takes his clothes off as well before joining you on the bed, caging you in between his arms and hovering only inches away above you.
"Touch me," he says to you, taking your hand and placing it on his shoulder.
He then glides your hand down his neck and chest, he makes you feel every inch of his pale skin with him. However, when he looks at you, your eyes remain on his.
"You feel so warm, Chris," you lowly mutter.
He brings your hand close to his mouth and kisses it, then crashes his lips on yours.
The gap between your bodies becomes non-existent as you keep pulling him close, he relents by lowering himself on top of you and props an elbow against the mattress to not put his whole weight on you.
Lips locked, hands around each other, bodies pressed together and the temperature keeps on rising in the room. Chan makes you feel every part of his lips brushing and gliding over yours. He skillfully parts your mouth open with his tongue so he can kiss you deep and hard, yet slow until you run out of breath.
At the same time, his hand makes its way down until his fingers land on your delicate flesh. He touches it tenderly, running his fingers between the folds, and drags them upward to rub on your bundle of nerves.
"Ah..." you moan against his lips as you curve your hand around his neck and pull him incredibly closer.
Judging from it, he knows he's doing it right and he should continue, he applies gentle pressures on your clit, making you drenched and that way, he can slowly put a digit inside of you.
You let go of his kiss to let out a moan and your head falls onto the pillow as he puts another digit into you, two fingers pumping in and out of you.
Chan intently watches as your face contorted along to the pleasure, how your jaws slack open and breathless moans keep spilling out of your parted mouth.
The way you clench around his fingers makes him impatient to feel you and how tight you feel around him, and the noises you make oh, they're his new favorite tune that he wants to keep listening to until his eardrums burst.
He glances down as he pulls his fingers out of you and finds them thickly coated with your essence, it doesn't stop him from shoving them into his mouth and lick them clean.
Chan holds you by the chin to keep you still as he kisses you, "Give me a second to get a condom, yeah?" He says to you and you nod in answer.
He makes his to the bathroom and pulls the drawer open to take a condom. To save time, he decides to put it on right away, he tears through the foil packet with his teeth and rolls the rubber down his hard length.
On the way out, he catches his reflection in the mirror and gets reminded that this is not about him. Tonight, it's all about you.
He returns to the bedroom, finding you still lying in bed naked and hugging yourself. He climbs onto the bed and lowers himself on you, letting you absorb his body heat to warm you.
Craving for another taste of it, he goes down and plants his mouth on your cunt next, tasting you right on his tongue.
You're squirming as his tongue laps over your wetness, drinking in on your essence and then using it to circle on your clit.
He's not the only one getting impatient and asking more of it, you both want it and there's no wasting time anymore. Just before he takes it to the next part, he places a long, tender kiss on your clit and immediately brings his mouth to yours again so you can taste yourself on him.
"I'm going in, mmh?" He says as he endearingly brushes your hair away from your face.
You hold on to his shoulder as he settles himself between your legs, aligning his cock with your entrance but before that, he rubs his length between your folds, lubricating it with your essence.
Your hands fly to your chest, hugging yourself again as you lowly moan to his hard length rubbing over your clit and then, pushing its way into you.
"Goodness fu—" he can't even finish his sentence without breaking into a satisfied groan.
It's just the tip but he can already feel how tight you are around him, he's scared yet excited to push more of him into you. He reorganizes his breathing and rests his hand on your abdomen to do it.
Chan looks down to check and he still has a little more of him that needs to be inside you, he sharply inhales air through his nostrils and pushes the remaining length in one quick push.
"Oh..." you breathlessly moan as you're squeezing on your breasts.
Chan allows himself to take a moment to adjust himself to being inside you and you seem to also need time to adjust to his size because you feel so incredibly tight around him. It makes him wonder how this little thing can take him so well.
He takes your hands away from your chest and puts them around his shoulders, that way he can put his body on top of you, lips locked with yours again in no time as you wrap your legs around his waist, sending him deeper inside you.
As he takes a breath in between kisses, you hold his face and look at him with a different kind of sadness in your eyes which only reminds him that his initial plan is to make it go away.
He starts thrusting into you, wanting to fuck this sadness out of you. He wants to make you think of nothing but how his cock fills you full and how good he is fucking you right now, and soon, he's going to make you feel nothing but immense pleasure.
"Ah... ah... ah..." you moan for every thrust going into you and the skin-slapping sounds echo along with it in the room.
Chan plants his mouth on your breasts to contain his grunts and groans while keeping the steady motion of his hips pulsating against you.
A hand reaches for his chin and forces him to look at you, instantly engaged in eye contact with you. He continues thrusting into you with eyes looking deep into you, they're no longer looking like bottomless pits, they look like deep oases that he wants to dive into.
The next thing he knows, Chan finds himself deep in you, not just physically but also connected with you in a way that he's never experienced with anyone else until now. He feels barer than he already is and instead of shutting himself off, he embraces it and lets you in.
Soon enough, he finds himself lost in it and fully connects himself to you in a way that lets him know how it feels to love without fears or insecurities holding him back, without worrying if it's being reciprocated or not, to love wholly and completely.
"Oh," you let out a broken moan and that's when he notices that you break into tears again.
Chan abruptly stops moving, afraid that something he does is hurting you without realizing it.
"No, keep going, keep going," you tell him with your voice hoarse.
He needs to make sure to continue, he cups your jaw and asks, "Are you okay?"
"Yes, please, keep going, please," You repeatedly nod and plead with your teary eyes.
He wants you to stop crying, he wants you to stop thinking about what hurts you and start to see him as he tries to take this pain away from you. His body picks up the pace, going impossibly fast and also taking himself close to his high.
Your eyes are screwed shut, your breath is ragged and your hands are gripping onto his shoulders, overwhelmed by the pleasure that he brought on you.
The moment he's sure that you already come to your climax, he allows himself to let go and uses all of his strength to give you a few more thrusts until there's nothing left in him but waves of pleasure that wash over him.
"Chris..." you softly call and then pull him for a chaste kiss on his lips, "Thank you."
Chan's face hovers only inches above you as he softly gazes into your eyes, you look so fragile and open like a wound and he's just glad that he can make your heartache gone even just for a while.
"Shh..." he stops you from talking by running his thumb over your lips and then kisses you with his heart wide open. He lets this beautiful feeling pour out of him and into you.
"No, thank you," he mutters his gratitude between kisses.
Thanks to you, he experiences something he's never felt before with someone else, something new, something pure and real, something that feels a lot like love.
When he wakes up in the morning and finds you're not there, it hits him that maybe it is love but Chan is not ready to admit it yet.
-
A week passes and Chan hasn't seen you ever since that night.
He can't tell if you're avoiding him or needing the space and time to piece yourself back from the break-up, he hopes it's the latter. Gosh! Let him be right.
Regardless of what happened, he can live with the fact that you despise him but it would be sad to know if you choose to go down the path of believing that you're not going to find love again.
Chan just needs to know if you're doing okay, that's what matters for now.
Fortunately, the two of you have been neighbors for quite a long time to learn your routine and knockabouts. He knows what you like to do on a Saturday morning, he goes to the lobby and chats with the concierge as he waits.
At the first sight of you entering the apartment building, his heart palpation, and in all honesty, he's just so happy to finally see you after a while.
Are you not seeing him there? Or you're just pretending which only confirms his initial thought that you've been, in fact, avoiding him.
You're walking through the lobby carrying a bag of groceries in your arm, you skip checking on the mailbox and go straight to the elevator. It just happens that the elevator is vacant and the doors slide open after you push the button.
Chan decides to take the risk, sprinting to get into the elevator before the doors close. You already despise him so a little more hate shouldn't be a problem to him.
"Morning, sunshine," He greets you with his dimpled grin.
"Good morning," you politely reply without looking at him.
Things are going back to normal and he should be glad, right? At least, you're back to your usual settings of looking stoic and acting polite, and the best thing about it is you're still talking to him.
"I should learn to avoid people from you. You're good at it," he pushes it a bit just to see if he can crack through this facade.
"Excuse me?" Your head turns his way and with your eyes widen, "I have not been avoiding anyone."
Chan holds the urge to smile for successfully getting your attention and rests his back against the cold, metal furnace of the elevator, "Are you sure?"
"Well, we're seeing each other now," you tell him.
"That's because I know you like to go to the farmer's market every Saturday morning," he says at the same time, admitting that he knows about your routine.
You slowly turn your body facing him and squint your eyes at him, "You've been keeping tabs on me?"
"It's my favorite pastime activity," he shamelessly answers then pokes his cheek with his tongue.
"It's better than watching porn," he playfully adds, something that he knows will annoy you the right way.
"Ugh!" You groan as you look straight ahead.
Oddly enough, that's what he misses the most about it, interacting with you and seeing your reaction to his antics, but you, especially.
"Don't be so uptight," he coyly says.
He takes a step closer to you and puts his hand on the handlebar, "it's not like we haven't slept together or anything."
You let out a scoff and hoist the strap of your grocery bag higher on your shoulder, "I'm shocked you even remember," you say.
You turn your head next and your eyes immediately lock in a gaze with him, "I figure I'm just a low notch on a very long bedpost," you add.
"Are you calling me a man whore?" Chan says, feeling offended.
You take a step closer to him and daringly stare back into his eyes, "I didn't call you a man," you answer with a sly smirk.
There's a few seconds of silence until Chan realizes what you just said to him but you know what? He's going to give it to you, for now.
He looks at you and smiles, "Touche!"
You both look at each other and at the same time, burst into laughter, and it keeps going until the hilarity subsides with each passing second.
Is this real? Did you just poke fun at him with a beautiful smile on your face? Did you really laugh and the sound of not only echoing in this enclosed space but also in the back of his mind? Did he just see a different facial expression on you? Either way, he likes it and he likes how it makes him feel.
The elevator chimes open and soon, the doors part open. He lets you get off first and then takes his turn after, he gets a little disappointed as you both are going in the opposite direction.
"Hey, Chris," you call as he's only a couple of steps away from the door of his apartment.
His heart palpation again but he keeps his calm and then slowly, turns on his feet to face you, "Yes?"
"I'm cooking curry for dinner and I know it'll be not as good as the one you always ordered but you can come and..." your hand is fiddling with the strap of your grocery bag as you speak but your eyes remain steady on him, "see if it suits your taste."
And did you just invite him for dinner? Him, the neighbor you despise so much?
Chan acts coy and scratches the back of his head, he holds the urge to answer right away. He has a reputation to uphold and he reckons, you have to at least wait a minute for his answer.
"Yeah, okay, let's see," he nonchalantly answers but his smile tells otherwise.
You crack a laugh and nod, walking to your door with the keys jangling as you're unlocking it.
Chan thinks that's the end of it until you call his name again, his heart leaps this time and he almost flies his way to you.
"Yeah?"
"Don't worry, I'm not going to ask you what are we," you say with a smile then get inside of your apartment.
That's funny because, after that night, he was hoping that you would ask him that as most girls do but that's where he is wrong, you're not most girls, you are his neighbor whom Chan is secretly in love with.

Stroke of Midnight
Max Verstappen x Alonso!Reader
Summary: New Year’s Eve sees you crouched under a table, shoving grapes into your mouth as the seconds tick by in a desperate attempt to find love in 2025 … but it just so happens that love finds you a whole lot sooner than you expect
Note: Happy (almost) New Year! Wishing everyone a sweet and fulfilling 2025 ❤️
The club is too loud, too crowded, too much. Somewhere near the DJ booth, your father is probably breaking it down to the worst remix of an already bad pop song.
You don’t want to know what’s happening. You don’t even want to be here, except here is Monaco on New Year’s Eve, and it’s supposed to be magical. That’s what the internet said when you Googled it this morning. But so far, the magic feels more like sweat and regret.
And desperation. There’s no use pretending otherwise anymore.
Your legs cramp as you shift under the table, pulling your knees to your chest to avoid the sharp heel of a passing stranger. The white tablecloth is a flimsy barrier between you and the chaos outside — limbs, perfume, champagne flutes tipped at precarious angles.
You check your phone. Eleven fifty-seven.
“God,” you whisper to yourself, clutching the little plastic bag in your hand. “This is rock bottom.”
But is it? The thought stops you short. You could argue there’ve been worse moments.
There was your first boyfriend, for starters. The trust fund baby who somehow thought being wealthy made cheating excusable. “It’s not like I need you,” he had said when you caught him. Yeah, no kidding.
Then came the mechanic. Charming, sweet, and exactly what you thought you needed — until you overheard him laughing with his friends about how he only asked you out on a bet. The details are blurry now, but the humiliation is crystal clear.
And, of course, the summer of horror: introducing your third boyfriend to your dad, only to walk in on him rummaging through your father’s underwear drawer. “I just wanted to see what greatness looks like,” he had explained with a sheepish grin, clutching a pair of Fernando Alonso’s boxer briefs like they were relics from the Vatican.
Three strikes. You’re out.
“Not this year,” you mutter, shaking your head. This year, you’re taking things into your own hands.
You dig into the bag, spilling green grapes into your lap. Twelve of them. One for each second before midnight, each representing a wish for the year ahead. You glance at the clock again — eleven fifty-eight now. Two minutes to go.
Someone shifts the table above you, and you nearly choke on your gasp. The tablecloth lifts slightly, and a pair of curious eyes meet yours.
“What the hell?”
It’s a man — dark-haired, stubble-jawed, vaguely familiar, though everyone in Monaco looks like they could be a movie star. He’s crouched, trying to see past the shadows. You stare back, frozen.
“Are you hiding?” He asks, tilting his head. His accent is clipped and Dutch, which somehow makes this all worse.
“Uh — no,” you stammer, holding up a grape like it’s evidence in court. “I’m … I’m doing something. It’s a tradition.”
“Under a table?”
“Yes.”
There’s a pause. He blinks at you, then ducks his head fully under the tablecloth. “Alright, I’ll bite. What kind of tradition involves grapes and hiding under furniture?”
“It’s Spanish.” You’re not sure why you feel defensive, but you do. “You eat twelve grapes, one for each second before midnight, for good luck in the new year.”
“Good luck.” He glances pointedly at the table legs surrounding you. “How’s that working out?”
You scowl. “It’s not midnight yet.”
He snorts. “Fair enough. Carry on.” He starts to retreat, but something stops him. “Wait. Why under the table?”
“Because …” You hesitate, not wanting to explain that part of the superstition involves being in a confined space to focus your intentions. It sounds ridiculous out loud, even to you. “Because it’s quieter down here.”
“Right.” His tone is skeptical, but mercifully, he leaves it at that. “Good luck, grape girl.” He’s gone before you can respond.
The clock ticks closer to midnight. Eleven fifty-nine. You clutch the grapes tighter, willing yourself to focus.
“Okay,” you whisper, heart pounding. “This is it. Love. Luck. Anything but whatever the hell the last three years were.”
You pop the first grape into your mouth as the countdown begins, the music fading just enough for the crowd to yell, Twelve!
It’s sour, but you swallow it quickly, reaching for the next. Eleven!
The third grape is sweeter. Ten!
Someone bumps the table above you, but you keep going. Nine!
The fifth grape tastes like possibility. Eight!
You’re halfway through the sixth when the tablecloth lifts again.
“Sorry, but I just-” It’s him again, the Dutch guy. He ducks under the table fully this time, looking half-apologetic, half-curious. “I couldn’t help it. What happens if you don’t finish in time?”
You glare at him, cheeks puffed like a chipmunk. “Whuh ah oo doin’?”
“Trying to understand the stakes here,” he says, crouching beside you. “It’s fascinating.”
“Go ‘way!” You manage, scrambling for the eighth grape. Five!
“Is this, like, a universal Spanish thing? Or just your family?”
You shove the ninth grape in your mouth, ignoring him. Four!
“You’re really committed,” he notes, watching you chew furiously. “I respect that.”
You jab a finger toward the edge of the tablecloth, signaling him to leave.
“Alright, alright,” he says, hands up in surrender. “Good luck, truly. I hope it works.”
He disappears just as the countdown hits Three!
The eleventh grape is a struggle, but you manage. Two!
You grab the last one, cramming it in just as the crowd roars, One! Happy New Year!
It’s chaos — cheering, champagne popping, music surging back to full volume. You sit there under the table, sticky with grape juice and feeling utterly ridiculous.
“Happy New Year to me,” you mutter, wiping your hands on your dress.
Above you, the tablecloth shifts again.
“I had a feeling you’d make it,” the Dutch guy says, grinning. He’s holding two glasses of champagne. “Figured you might need this.”
You stare at him, utterly baffled. “Do you always bother strangers under tables?”
“Only the ones who look like they’re about to choke on tradition.”
You take the glass hesitantly, unsure whether to thank him or tell him to leave you alone. He raises his own in a toast.
“To luck,” he says simply, his smile oddly sincere.
You sigh, clinking your glass against his. “To luck.”
And for the first time in years, you think it might actually work.
***
The Dutch guy, whose name you still don’t know, doesn’t leave. You expect him to. After all, who bothers someone under a table, offers them champagne, and then sticks around? But here he is, leaning casually against the table, like this is his New Year’s Eve tradition too.
“So,” he says, studying you over the rim of his glass, “how do you know it worked?”
“What worked?”
“The grapes. Your luck in love.”
“It’s not instant,” you reply dryly. “I don’t think someone’s going to walk up and propose to me tonight.”
“Shame,” he says, smirking. “Would’ve been a great story.”
You roll your eyes, standing up carefully to avoid smacking your head on the table. The club is still throbbing with music, the crowd a drunken sea of sequins and suits. Your father is nowhere to be seen, probably charming half the room with drunken stories from his glory days.
The Dutch guy follows you, holding his champagne like it’s an extension of himself.
“So, do I get a name?” He asks.
“Do I get a name?” You counter.
He laughs, setting his glass on a passing waiter’s tray. “Martin. Martin Garrix.”
It clicks immediately. The Martin Garrix. You’ve seen him on magazine covers, his face plastered on Spotify playlists, his name on Coachella lineups.
“Oh,” you say, a little surprised. “You’re that Martin Garrix.”
“Depends,” he says with a grin. “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
“I haven’t decided yet.”
He laughs again, an easy sound that somehow cuts through the noise around you.
“And you are?”
You hesitate. The last thing you want is to be recognized as Fernando Alonso’s daughter tonight. “Just … me,” you say, shrugging.
“Alright, Just Me,” he teases. “What’s the plan now? Back to the dance floor?”
“I don’t really have a plan.” You glance toward the bar, but it’s swamped. The thought of pushing through that crowd makes your skin crawl.
Martin tilts his head, considering you. “You know,” he says after a moment, “I’ve got to play a set in a bit. But before that, I could introduce you to someone.”
Your brow furrows. “Introduce me?”
“Yeah. A friend of mine. You’ll like him.”
You cross your arms. “Why do I feel like you’re trying to get rid of me?”
“Not at all,” he says, grinning. “But if you’re looking for luck, he’s got plenty of it.”
Before you can argue, he’s already motioning for you to follow him.
Martin weaves through the crowd effortlessly, stopping just long enough to charm security guards and exchange handshakes with people who look vaguely important. You trail behind, clutching your champagne glass like a lifeline.
“VIP,” he explains over his shoulder, as if that answers anything.
“I was in VIP,” you mutter. “Then I left to crawl under a table.”
“Your loss,” he quips.
The VIP section is smaller than you remember, cordoned off with velvet ropes and guarded by men in black suits. Martin flashes a wristband, and the guard steps aside.
You’re led to a booth tucked in the farthest corner, hidden from most of the chaos. Someone is slouched in the corner seat, a drink dangling from his fingers. His head tilts up when Martin approaches, and your stomach flips.
Max Verstappen.
You stop dead in your tracks, heat rushing to your face. Of all the people — of course it’s him.
Max looks at you, then at Martin, then back at you. His brow furrows in confusion, his normally sharp blue eyes a little unfocused.
“Martin,” he says, voice thick with alcohol, “who’s this?”
Martin grins, gesturing toward you. “Stray kitten I found under a table. Thought you might want company.”
You gape at him. “I am not a stray kitten.”
“Could’ve fooled me,” Martin says, completely unbothered.
Max blinks, then sets his drink on the table. “Wait. I know you.”
“Yeah,” you say quickly, “I know you too.”
It’s a terrible response, but you’re too flustered to think straight. Max Verstappen, reigning Formula 1 world champion, is sitting in front of you, looking unfairly handsome even in his clearly drunk state.
Martin claps Max on the shoulder. “I’ll leave you two to it. Don’t scare her off, mate.”
“Wait, what-” You start to protest, but Martin is already disappearing into the crowd.
You’re left standing there awkwardly, clutching your glass like it’s a shield. Max watches you, his expression softening into something unreadable.
“Sit,” he says, gesturing to the empty seat beside him.
You hesitate, then slide into the booth, leaving just enough space between you that it doesn’t feel too intimate.
“So,” he says, leaning back. “What’s this about a table?”
You sigh, rubbing your temple. “It’s a Spanish tradition. You eat twelve grapes at midnight for good luck in the new year. I was under the table to-”
“Focus your intentions,” he finishes, surprising you.
Your eyes widen. “How do you know that?”
“Carlos told me about it once back when we were teammates,” he says with a small smile. “He thought it was funny.”
You relax slightly. “Well, it’s not funny. It’s practical.”
“Under a table, though?” His smile widens.
“It’s quieter!”
He laughs, and it’s the kind of laugh that makes your heart twist in your chest. You’ve always found Max intimidating — cool, calm, untouchable. But right now, with his hair slightly messy and his guard down, he seems … human.
“You’re drunk,” you blurt out.
He nods, unabashed. “A little.”
“A lot,” you correct.
“Fair.” He leans forward, resting his elbows on the table. “But what about you? You’re here on New Year’s Night, eating grapes under tables. What’s that about?”
You hesitate, then shrug. “Bad luck. Bad … everything, really. I figured it couldn’t hurt.”
He studies you for a moment, his gaze steady despite the alcohol. “Bad everything?”
“Love life,” you admit, looking away. “It’s been a disaster.”
“Join the club,” he mutters, taking a sip of his drink.
You glance at him, surprised. “What do you mean? You’re-” You stop yourself, realizing how stupid it sounds. He’s Max Verstappen. He could have anyone.
“Exactly,” he says, reading your expression. “And that’s the problem. No one takes me seriously. They just see the driver, the fame, the money.”
You soften. “That sounds lonely.”
“It is.”
There’s a beat of silence, heavy with unspoken words.
“You know,” he says finally, his voice quieter now, “I always wondered what it’d be like to talk to you.”
Your breath catches. “What?”
“In the paddock. You’re always with your dad, or with someone else. I never knew how to …” He trails off, rubbing the back of his neck. “It doesn’t matter.”
“It does,” you say quickly, surprising yourself. “I always wondered too.”
He looks at you then, really looks at you, and for a moment, the noise of the club fades into the background.
“Yeah?” He asks softly.
You nod, suddenly shy. “Yeah.”
His lips twitch into a small smile. “Maybe Martin was right.”
“About what?”
“Luck.”
You laugh, the sound light and unexpected. “Maybe.”
He leans back, the tension in his shoulders easing. “So, what now? Are you going to wait for the grapes to work, or are we going to make our own luck?”
You raise an eyebrow. “And how do we do that?”
“Well,” he says, a playful glint in his eye, “we could start by getting out of here.”
“And go where?”
“Anywhere,” he says, standing up and holding out his hand.
You stare at his hand, then take it, letting him pull you to your feet.
“Alright,” you say, your heart pounding. “Let’s see where this luck takes us.”
***
The valet pulls up with the car, and it’s … a Ferrari Monza SP2. Of course it is. Sleek, black, and absurdly expensive, it looks like something out of a Bond movie. The kind of car you don’t just drive; you wear it, command it.
Max grins at you as the valet hands him the keys, his drunken sway almost imperceptible — almost. He heads straight for the driver’s side, but you grab his arm before he can open the door.
“Are you serious?” You ask, wide-eyed.
“What?” His expression is equal parts innocence and mischief.
“You’ve been drinking.”
He glances at the keys in his hand, then back at you, shrugging like it’s no big deal. “I’ve had worse nights.”
“Max,” you say firmly, your voice cutting through the noise of passing cars and drunken revelers spilling out onto the Monaco streets. “You’re not driving.”
He raises an eyebrow, his grin widening. “So, what? You’re offering?”
You blink, caught off guard. “I-I didn’t mean-”
But he’s already opening the driver’s side door and stepping aside, holding it open for you with a dramatic flourish. “Your chariot awaits, madam.”
Your first instinct is to argue, to remind him that this is his car and you’re not exactly in the habit of taking over Ferraris from Formula 1 champions unless they’re your father. But the glint in his eye dares you to say yes.
“Fine,” you mutter, slipping past him and sliding into the driver’s seat.
The leather feels luxurious under your fingers, the steering wheel practically begging to be gripped. You know Ferraris — you grew up around them, after all — but this one feels different. It feels … alive.
Max climbs into the passenger seat with surprising agility for someone who’s had more than a few drinks. He looks entirely too pleased with himself, leaning back like he owns not just the car, but the world.
“Where to?” You ask, trying to sound nonchalant as you adjust the seat and mirrors.
He shrugs, a lazy smile on his face. “Surprise me.”
The car roars to life under your hands, the engine purring with a deep, satisfying growl. You pull out of the valet lane and into the Monaco streets, the city lights sparkling like they’ve been sprinkled with diamonds.
You have no plan, no destination in mind. So, you let the roads guide you. Past the harbor, where yachts bob gently against their moorings, and out onto the open road leading away from Monaco.
Max watches you drive, his gaze heavy but not uncomfortable. “You’re good at this,” he says, his voice cutting through the low hum of the engine.
You glance at him, one hand on the wheel. “I should be. My dad made sure I could handle cars before I could even ride a bike.”
He chuckles. “Sounds about right.”
The road begins to curve as you head toward Nice, the city’s glow fading behind you. The winding asphalt hugs the coastline, offering glimpses of the dark sea shimmering under the moonlight.
Max leans his head back against the seat, his eyes half-closed. “This is nice,” he murmurs, almost to himself.
You smile, focusing on the road. “It is.”
The stretch of beach comes out of nowhere, a small, deserted slice of sand tucked between rocky cliffs. You might have driven past it without a second thought, but Max suddenly sits up, pointing wildly.
“Stop!” He yells.
You react instinctively, slamming on the brakes. The tires screech against the pavement, and the car comes to a jarring halt.
“Jesus, Max!” You exclaim, turning to glare at him. “What is wrong with you?”
He’s already unbuckling his seatbelt, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “We’re going skinny dipping.”
“What?”
“You heard me.” He grins like a kid who just discovered a hidden jar of candy. “Come on. The water’s right there.”
You stare at him, dumbfounded. “You can’t be serious.”
“Why not?” He pushes open the door and climbs out, gesturing for you to follow. “It’s New Year’s. Perfect time to do something stupid.”
“Skinny dipping isn’t just stupid, Max. It’s-” You gesture vaguely, your cheeks heating. “It’s ridiculous.”
He leans down, resting his arms on the open car door. “Exactly. That’s the point. Live a little.”
You hesitate, glancing toward the beach. The moonlight glints off the waves, the sound of the surf mingling with the gentle rustle of wind through the grass. There’s no one else around.
“Max,” you start, your voice uncertain.
He tilts his head, his expression softening. “Hey. It’s just water. I won’t look if you don’t want me to.”
You laugh despite yourself, shaking your head. “You’re impossible.”
“And you’re stalling.” He steps back, holding his arms out as if to say, what’s the worst that could happen?
You sigh, unbuckling your seatbelt. “If I freeze to death, I’m haunting you.”
“Deal.”
The sand is cool under your feet as you follow Max toward the water. He’s already pulled off his shirt and pants, tossing them carelessly onto the beach. The moonlight catches on his skin, highlighting the lean muscles of his back.
You hesitate at the water’s edge, the waves lapping at your toes.
“This is crazy,” you mutter, crossing your arms.
“That’s the point,” Max calls over his shoulder, already wading into the surf.
You bite your lip, glancing around one last time to make sure you’re alone. Then, with a deep breath, you pull off your dress, leaving it in a heap beside Max’s clothes.
The water is shockingly cold as you step in, but it’s not unbearable. You wade in deeper, the waves swirling around your waist, then your chest.
Max is already floating on his back a few meters ahead, his arms stretched out like he’s completely at peace.
“See?” He says, his voice carrying over the water. “Not so bad.”
You tread water, glaring at him. “I hate that you’re right.”
He laughs, the sound echoing across the beach. “You’ll get used to it.”
For a while, neither of you says anything. The water is calm, the world around you eerily quiet except for the soft crash of waves.
“This is nice,” you admit finally, your voice barely above a whisper.
“Told you,” he says, tilting his head to look at you. His expression is softer now, less playful. “Thanks for indulging me.”
You shrug, a small smile tugging at your lips. “Thanks for trusting me with your car.”
He grins. “I figured it was in good hands.”
The silence stretches between you again, but it’s not uncomfortable. It feels … easy. Like the two of you have always been here, floating in the moonlit water, sharing something unspoken.
“I’ve always liked you,” Max says suddenly, his voice quiet but firm.
You freeze, your heart skipping a beat. “What?”
He turns onto his side, treading water to face you. “I mean it. For years, I’ve … I don’t know. I never thought you’d feel the same, so I didn’t say anything. But tonight …” He trails off, shaking his head. “I don’t know. It felt like the right time.”
Your throat tightens, your mind racing. You’ve always thought Max was out of your league, untouchable. But here he is, confessing in the most Max way possible — honest, straightforward, no games.
“I’ve always liked you too,” you admit, your voice trembling.
His eyes widen, a slow smile spreading across his face. “Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
He laughs, the sound full of relief and joy. “Well, I guess the grapes worked after all.”
You roll your eyes, but you’re smiling. “Don’t make me regret this.”
“Never,” he says, his voice soft.
It feels like a promise.
***
When you and Max finally stumble out of the water, shivering and laughing, you head straight to the spot where you’d left your clothes. Only, when you get there, the beach doesn’t look quite the same.
Your dress isn’t where you left it.
“Oh no,” you mutter, scanning the dark sand.
“What?” Max asks, standing next to you, his arms crossed against the cold.
“My clothes.” You point at the waterline, which has crept much closer during your impromptu swim. “The waves must’ve gotten to them.”
Max glances down and then back at you with a smirk. “You mean those clothes?”
You follow his gaze to a small, soggy heap half-buried in the sand.
“Oh, for the love of-” You dart toward them, scooping up your dress and underwear, which are completely soaked and dripping.
Max doesn’t even try to suppress his laugh. “Well, this is awkward.”
“Don’t,” you warn, glaring at him.
“I didn’t say anything!” He holds up his hands defensively, still grinning.
You groan, holding up your dress, which now feels about ten pounds heavier with seawater. “What am I supposed to do? I can’t wear this.”
Max tilts his head, considering. “Guess you’ll have to drive back naked.”
“Max!”
“Kidding, kidding!” He steps closer, tugging his own damp shirt over his head and holding it out to you. “Here. Problem solved.”
You hesitate, eyeing the shirt. “What about you?”
“I’ll live,” he says with a shrug, clearly unbothered by the chilly night air. “Take it.”
You sigh, knowing you don’t have much of a choice. “Fine. Turn around.”
Max smirks but obeys, turning his back to you.
You quickly pull the oversized shirt over your head, the fabric still warm from his body. It smells like him, too — a mix of salt, sweat, and something distinctly Max. You tug it down as far as it will go, grateful that it’s long enough to cover everything important.
“Okay,” you say.
Max turns back around, and his grin is immediate and wide. “Wow.”
“What?” You ask, crossing your arms.
“You look good in my clothes,” he says, his voice dropping slightly.
You roll your eyes, but your cheeks burn at the way he’s looking at you, his gaze lingering a little too long. “You’re impossible.”
“And you’re beautiful,” he counters, his tone light but earnest.
You open your mouth to respond, but the words catch in your throat. Instead, you shake your head, muttering, “Let’s just go.”
Max doesn’t argue, but his grin lingers as the two of you make your way back to the car.
“Where are we going?” Max asks as you slide back into the driver’s seat, the leather cool against your bare thighs.
“I was going to ask you the same thing,” you say, adjusting the mirrors again.
He shrugs, leaning back in his seat. “We could go back to my place.”
You snort. “Why does that sound like the setup to a bad pickup line?”
“Hey,” he protests, mock-offended. “I’m a gentleman.”
You glance at him, raising an eyebrow. “Are you, though?”
“Sometimes,” he says, grinning. “Depends on the company.”
You laugh, shaking your head. “Well, as much as I’d love to see your undoubtedly bachelor-esque apartment, I have a better idea.”
“Oh?”
“My dad’s place,” you say, pulling onto the road.
Max raises an eyebrow. “Fernando’s?”
“He’s not there,” you assure him quickly. “He’s probably still at the club, or passed out somewhere. And I happen to know he stocked the apartment with some really good champagne.”
Max hums, considering. “Fancy champagne, empty apartment … I like the sound of this.”
You smile, turning onto the highway. “I thought you might.”
The drive back to Monaco feels different this time. The adrenaline from the beach has faded, replaced by a quiet comfort. Max sits beside you, his head tilted back against the seat, humming softly to himself.
You glance at him out of the corner of your eye. “You’re not falling asleep, are you?”
He shakes his head, reaching for the radio. “Nope. Just thinking.”
“Dangerous,” you tease.
He laughs, fiddling with the dial until he lands on a station playing 80s hits. The familiar opening chords of Take On Me by A-ha fill the car, and Max immediately starts singing along.
“Talking away,” he belts out, completely off-key but fully committed.
You can’t help but laugh. “Oh my God, Max.”
“What?” He says, grinning at you. “You don’t like my singing?”
“I’m just saying, maybe stick to driving cars.”
He clutches his chest dramatically. “Ouch. That’s harsh.”
The chorus kicks in, and Max leans closer to you, practically shouting the lyrics. “I’ll be gone, in a day or twoooooo!”
You’re laughing so hard you can barely keep your hands steady on the wheel. “You’re ridiculous.”
“And you love it,” he says, winking.
You roll your eyes, but the truth is, you kind of do. There’s something about the way Max is so unapologetically himself, even when he’s being completely ridiculous. It’s endearing in a way you didn’t expect.
The next song comes on — Africa by Toto (not that Toto, the other one) — and Max doesn’t miss a beat, launching into another impromptu performance.
“I bless the rains down in AfricAAAA!”
“Please stop,” you beg, though your cheeks hurt from smiling.
“Never,” he says, grinning at you like this is the most fun he’s had in ages.
And as the lights of Monaco come back into view, you realize you’ve never felt more at ease with someone. Max’s off-tune singing, the salty breeze still clinging to your hair, and the warmth of his shirt against your skin — it all feels like something out of a dream.
“Hey,” Max says suddenly, his voice softer now.
“Yeah?” You glance at him, and for once, he’s not smiling. His expression is thoughtful, almost serious.
“I’m glad it was you tonight,” he says simply.
Your heart skips a beat, but you manage to keep your voice steady. “Me too.”
He turns back to the radio, cranking up the volume as another song starts. And as you drive toward the city, the two of you singing along to the music, it feels like the beginning of something you’re not quite ready to name — but it feels right all the same.
***
The apartment is just as you left it — sleek, minimalist, and undoubtedly your father’s. Clean lines, muted colors, and an expansive view of Monaco’s twinkling lights spilling in through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Max whistles low as he steps inside, running a hand through his damp hair. “Your dad has good taste.”
You scoff, kicking off your shoes by the door. “He has a good interior designer. There’s a difference.”
Max chuckles, padding after you as you head straight for the kitchen. “Where’s this fancy champagne you promised?”
You open the fridge, scanning its contents. Sure enough, five bottles of Dom Pérignon are lined up like soldiers, condensation clinging to their dark glass.
“Here,” you say, pulling one out and setting it on the marble countertop. “But don’t complain if it ruins you for whatever it is that Formula 1 uses on podiums these days.”
Max grabs two flutes from the cabinet you pointed to and shrugs. “I think I’ll survive.”
You pop the cork with a satisfying pop, pouring the sparkling liquid into the glasses he offers.
“To questionable life choices,” Max says, raising his glass.
You laugh, clinking yours against his. “To new beginnings.”
The first sip is crisp and effervescent, the kind of taste that makes you close your eyes for a second to savor it. Max seems equally impressed, letting out a low hum of approval.
“You weren’t kidding,” he says, taking another sip. “This is good.”
“Only the best for Fernando Alonso,” you say, rolling your eyes.
The two of you settle on the couch, the city lights casting a soft glow over the room. Conversation flows easily, the champagne loosening whatever walls you might have had left after the events of the night.
By the second bottle, you’re both leaning into each other, laughing at stories you’ve never told anyone else.
“So, wait,” Max says, his voice slightly slurred. “You actually punched him?”
“I didn’t punch him,” you correct, giggling. “I just … shoved him. Hard. With my fist.”
Max snorts. “That’s literally a punch.”
“Semantics.” You wave him off, taking another sip of champagne. “He deserved it.”
“Remind me never to get on your bad side,” Max says, shaking his head with a grin.
By the time you open the third bottle, everything is a blur of laughter, shared glances, and a warmth that has nothing to do with the alcohol.
You’re halfway through another story when Max interrupts, leaning closer. “You’ve got …” He gestures vaguely at your face.
“What?” You ask, frowning.
“Hold on.” He reaches out, brushing the corner of your mouth with his thumb. The touch is light, almost hesitant, but it sends a jolt of electricity through you.
“There,” he says softly, his thumb lingering a second too long before he pulls back.
The room feels suddenly smaller, quieter. Your eyes meet his, and for a moment, neither of you says anything.
Then, without thinking, you lean in.
The kiss is messy, fueled by champagne and years of unspoken tension. Max’s lips are soft but insistent, his hands finding your waist and pulling you closer.
You barely register the sound of your glass clattering onto the coffee table as you climb onto his lap, your fingers tangling in his hair.
“Is this okay?” He murmurs against your lips, his breath warm and ragged.
You nod, your hands already tugging at the waistband of his jeans. “More than okay.”
His hands slide under the shirt you’re wearing — his shirt — his palms warm against your skin. The touch makes you shiver, but you can’t tell if it’s from the cold or something else entirely.
“You look so good in this,” he whispers, his lips trailing down your neck.
“Stop talking,” you mutter, pulling him back up for another kiss.
He laughs softly but obeys, his hands roaming freely now, exploring every curve like he’s trying to memorize you.
You lose track of time, of where you end and he begins. The champagne bubbles in your veins, making everything feel hazy and light.
Somehow, you both end up half-naked on the leather sectional, your legs tangled together. Max’s hands stay under the shirt, resting against your waist like he’s anchoring himself to you.
Your hand drifts lower, brushing against the waistband of his briefs. He lets out a low groan, his head falling back against the couch.
“Careful,” he says, his voice thick with a mix of amusement and warning.
You smirk, leaning down to press a kiss to his jaw. “You’re the one who said to live a little.”
He laughs, pulling you back down into another kiss.
Eventually, exhaustion gets the better of both of you. The kisses slow, turning softer, lazier, until you’re both too tired to do anything but collapse against each other.
Max’s arms wrap around you, his body warm and solid beneath you.
“Don’t let me fall asleep like this,” you mumble, your voice muffled against his chest.
“Too late,” he replies, his voice already heavy with sleep.
And as your eyes flutter closed, you can’t help but think that this might be the best questionable life choice you’ve ever made.
***
The first hint of dawn spills into the apartment, a soft, golden hue creeping through the glass walls. The city below comes to life slowly, but up here, in the quiet sanctuary of your father’s apartment, everything feels frozen in time.
You’re vaguely aware of the early morning light as you stir, still half-asleep, tangled in the warmth of Max’s arms. His hands are still under the shirt you’re wearing — his shirt — resting against your bare waist. Your head rests on his chest, his steady heartbeat like a metronome beneath your ear.
You should feel embarrassed, maybe even regretful. Instead, you feel … safe. Content.
The sound of keys jingling outside the door doesn’t register immediately.
Then, the lock turns, and the door creaks open.
“Ah, mierda.”
The low curse comes from the entryway. The unmistakable, groggy voice of your father.
You jolt upright, your blood turning ice-cold as the realization sinks in.
Max stirs beside you, groaning softly. “What’s going on?”
You don’t have time to answer before Fernando appears in the living room doorway, his hair disheveled, his jacket slung over one shoulder, and the beginnings of a hangover etched across his face.
His gaze lands on the two of you — your bare legs, Max’s shirt haphazardly covering you, and the obvious fact that both your pants are nowhere to be seen.
There’s a long, excruciating silence.
“Papá,” you manage to squeak, your voice higher than you intended.
Fernando blinks once, twice. Then his eyes narrow. “What is this?”
Max freezes, his brain clearly struggling to catch up. “Uh …”
You scramble for words, any words, but your mind is a complete blank.
Fernando steps closer, his voice sharp. “You. Verstappen. What are you doing here?”
Max raises a hand, as though he’s trying to surrender. “I can explain-”
“Oh, you better,” Fernando interrupts, his tone dark. “Because from where I’m standing, this looks like …” He gestures vaguely at the two of you, his expression a mix of disbelief and fury. “… a very bad decision.”
You hastily pull a throw pillow over your lap, trying to muster some semblance of dignity. “It’s not what it looks like.”
Fernando arches a brow. “It looks like I came home to find my daughter and Max Verstappen half-naked on my couch.”
“Okay, so maybe it’s a little what it looks like,” you admit, cringing.
Max finally seems to snap out of his stupor. He sits up, running a hand through his already messy hair. “Listen, Fernando, I-”
“You don’t get to call me Fernando,” your father snaps. “Not right now.”
“Okay,” Max backtracks quickly, holding up his hands. “Look, this isn’t her fault. It’s on me.”
You turn to him, frowning. “Max-”
“No, it’s true,” he continues, his voice steady despite the situation. “I shouldn’t have let things get … out of hand.”
Fernando crosses his arms, his eyes narrowing further. “Out of hand?”
“I mean-” Max stumbles over his words, clearly realizing he’s digging himself deeper. “It’s not like we planned for this to happen.”
Fernando’s gaze flicks to you, his expression unreadable. “Is that true?”
You open your mouth, then close it, your cheeks burning. “Well … yes. Kind of.”
“Kind of?”
“It’s complicated!” You blurt out, throwing your hands up in frustration.
Fernando pinches the bridge of his nose, muttering something under his breath that you’re pretty sure isn’t complimentary.
“I don’t even know where to start,” he says after a moment, his voice tight. “You-” He points at Max. “Why are you even here?”
“We were … celebrating,” Max says hesitantly.
“Celebrating,” Fernando repeats flatly. “By taking your pants off on my couch?”
“Okay, that part was-” Max starts, but you cut him off.
“Can we not talk about pants right now?” You plead, your face hot enough to fry an egg.
Fernando gives you a look that could melt steel. “No, we’re absolutely going to talk about it. What were you thinking?”
“Maybe we weren’t thinking,” you admit quietly, avoiding his gaze.
“That much is obvious,” he mutters.
“Papá, please,” you say, your voice softening. “It’s not like we meant to disrespect you or your home.”
Fernando sighs, the anger in his expression giving way to something else — disappointment. It stings more than you care to admit.
Max shifts uncomfortably beside you, breaking the silence. “I know this looks bad-”
“It is bad,” Fernando interrupts. “Do you have any idea what this could do to your reputation? To hers?”
Max frowns, his jaw tightening. “With all due respect, I care more about her than my reputation.”
Your breath catches at his words, but Fernando doesn’t seem impressed.
“Convenient to say that now,” he mutters, crossing his arms again.
Max’s expression hardens. “It’s the truth.”
The tension in the room is suffocating, the silence stretching out until you can’t take it anymore.
“Can we just … take a minute?” You say, looking between them. “Please?”
Fernando stares at you for a long moment, his expression softening just a fraction. “Fine. One minute.”
He turns on his heel, muttering something under his breath yet again as he storms toward the kitchen.
As soon as he’s out of earshot, you let out a shaky breath, turning to Max.
“This is a disaster,” you whisper.
Max reaches for your hand, his touch grounding. “We’ll figure it out.”
“How?” You ask, your voice tinged with panic.
He squeezes your hand gently. “Together.”
Despite everything, his confidence is reassuring. You take another deep breath, trying to steady yourself.
“Okay,” you say quietly. “Together.”
Fernando’s voice cuts through the moment from the kitchen. “You better be decent when I come back.”
Max lets out a low chuckle, and you can’t help but smile despite the situation.
“Let’s just survive the next five minutes,” you murmur, standing to pull on your still-damp jeans.
Max grins up at you, his eyes warm. “I like our odds.”
You glance toward the kitchen, where your father is undoubtedly fuming, and pray he’s right.
***
The tension in the room is suffocating as your father storms back from the kitchen, a cup of coffee in his hand and a sharp glare aimed squarely at Max. You sit on the edge of the couch, trying to make yourself as small as possible. Max, to his credit, doesn’t flinch under the weight of Fernando’s gaze, though his posture is tense, shoulders squared like he’s bracing for impact.
Fernando takes a long sip of his coffee before setting the cup down on the counter with a decisive clink. “Alright,” he says, folding his arms across his chest. “Let’s talk.”
Max leans forward, his elbows on his knees. “I-”
Fernando holds up a hand, cutting him off. “No. I’ll talk first. You’ll listen.”
Max glances at you briefly, then nods. “Okay.”
Your father steps closer, his eyes narrowing. “So. Verstappen. Tell me — were you trying to sleep with my daughter under my own roof?”
The bluntness of the question makes you choke on air. “Papá!”
“Stay out of this,” Fernando says sharply, not even sparing you a glance. His eyes are locked on Max, who blinks in surprise before straightening in his seat.
“No!” Max says quickly, his voice firm. “Of course not.”
Fernando tilts his head, his lips twitching as though he’s fighting back a smirk. “Oh, so she’s not attractive enough for you to want to sleep with?”
“What?” You gasp, standing up. “What is wrong with you?”
“Sit down,” Fernando says over his shoulder, though there’s an unmistakable gleam of amusement in his eyes.
Max looks like he’s been thrown into the deep end of a pool without warning. “That’s not — what? No!”
Fernando raises an eyebrow. “No, she’s not attractive, or no, you weren’t trying to sleep with her?”
Max glares at him, his jaw tightening. “You’re twisting my words.”
“Am I?” Fernando says, taking another slow sip of his coffee.
“Yes!” Max snaps, then seems to catch himself. He exhales, running a hand through his hair. “Look, I wasn’t trying to disrespect you or your home. I swear.”
Fernando steps closer, looming over Max. “You swear, huh?”
“Yes,” Max says firmly.
“And yet,” Fernando says, gesturing at the couch with a dramatic wave of his hand, “I walked in on this. My daughter, half-naked, tangled up with you.”
You groan, burying your face in your hands. “Oh my god, stop.”
Fernando ignores you. “Explain that, Verstappen.”
Max meets his gaze, unflinching. “I care about her. That’s the truth.”
Fernando’s eyebrows lift slightly, but he doesn’t respond immediately. He paces a few steps, tapping his fingers against his coffee cup as though mulling over his next move.
Finally, he stops, turning back to Max. “You care about her,” he repeats, his tone skeptical.
“Yes,” Max says, his voice unwavering.
Fernando tilts his head again, studying Max like he’s a puzzle he’s trying to solve. “Alright. Let’s test that.”
Max frowns. “Test what?”
“Your commitment,” Fernando says simply.
You groan again, standing up. “Papá, this isn’t some kind of-”
“Sit,” Fernando says, pointing at the couch.
“Stop telling me to sit!” You snap, but you drop back down anyway, crossing your arms over your chest.
Fernando turns back to Max, a small, mischievous smile playing at the corners of his mouth. “So. Verstappen. If you care about her, you won’t mind answering a few questions.”
Max hesitates but nods. “Alright.”
Fernando sets his coffee cup down again, cracking his knuckles for dramatic effect. “First question. Do you even know her middle name?”
Max’s eyes flick to you, then back to Fernando. “Of course I do. It’s-” He pauses, frowning. “Wait. Do you have one?”
Fernando lets out a bark of laughter. “Strike one.”
You roll your eyes. “Max, I don’t have a middle name. Don’t listen to him.”
Max glares at Fernando. “That’s not fair.”
“Life isn’t fair,” Fernando says with a shrug. “Next question. What’s her favorite color?”
Max’s frown deepens. “Pink?”
Fernando shakes his head. “Wrong.”
“Wrong?” Max turns to you. “It’s not pink?”
“It’s not pink,” you confirm, biting back a smile.
Fernando smirks. “Strike two.”
Max leans back, exhaling slowly. “Alright. What is it, then?”
Fernando opens his mouth, but you cut him off. “It’s burgundy.”
“Burgundy,” Max repeats, nodding to himself. “Got it.”
“Too late,” Fernando says, waving him off. “You’re already failing.”
“Papá,” you say, your tone a warning.
Fernando raises his hands in mock surrender. “Fine, fine. One last question.”
Max leans forward again, his expression determined. “Go ahead.”
Fernando’s smirk returns. “What are your intentions with my daughter?”
The question hangs in the air like a loaded gun.
Max doesn’t flinch. He meets Fernando’s gaze head-on and says, “I don’t know yet.”
You blink in surprise, as does your father.
Max continues, his voice steady. “But I know I want to figure it out. I care about her, and I want to spend more time with her. That’s all I can say right now.”
Fernando studies him for a long moment, his expression unreadable.
Then, to your astonishment, he nods. “Fair enough.”
“Fair enough?” You echo, staring at him in disbelief.
Fernando shrugs, picking up his coffee cup again. “At least he’s honest.”
Max lets out a breath he probably didn’t realize he was holding, and you shake your head, still trying to process what just happened.
“Just one thing,” Fernando adds, turning back to Max with a pointed look.
“What’s that?” Max asks cautiously.
Fernando leans in slightly, his voice low but firm. “If you hurt her, I’ll make sure you regret it.”
Max doesn’t hesitate. “Understood.”
Fernando nods once, then steps back, his demeanor relaxing slightly. “Good. Now, get dressed. Both of you.”
You groan, covering your face with your hands again. “This is the worst day of my life.”
“Could’ve been worse,” Max says, nudging you gently.
You glare at him, but there’s a small smile tugging at your lips despite everything.
Fernando smirks, heading toward his bedroom. “You’ve got ten minutes before I come back with more questions.”
“Papá!” You call after him, but he’s already gone.
Max chuckles softly, leaning back on the couch. “That went well, all things considered.”
You stare at him, incredulous. “You think that went well?”
He grins, shrugging. “I’m still alive, aren’t I?”
You can’t help but laugh, shaking your head. “You’re unbelievable.”
“And you like me anyway,” he says, his grin widening.
You roll your eyes, but you don’t argue.
***
One Year Later
The club is just as loud and chaotic as it was a year ago, but it feels different this time. Maybe it’s the crowd, maybe it’s the glow of the New Year’s lights, or maybe it’s the fact that Max’s hand hasn’t left yours all night.
You’re back where it all started, tucked into the VIP section of the Monaco club where you had once crouched under a table eating grapes in a last-ditch attempt to find love. That night had been nothing short of chaotic, but looking back, it had been the beginning of something you wouldn’t trade for the world.
“Is it how you remembered it?” Max asks, leaning in close to be heard over the music.
You glance around at the glittering lights and pulsing crowd, then back at him. “It’s definitely less embarrassing this time around.”
Max grins, brushing a thumb over your knuckles. “I don’t know. You were pretty cute in your desperation.”
You groan, nudging him with your shoulder. “Are you ever going to let me live that down?”
“Not a chance,” he says, laughing. “It’s one of my favorite stories to tell.”
“Great. Glad my suffering is so entertaining for you,” you tease, though you can’t help but smile.
Max tugs you closer, his voice softer now. “You know, I’m really glad you ate those grapes.”
You look up at him, your heart fluttering at the way his eyes crinkle when he smiles. “Me too.”
The DJ announces that it’s nearly midnight, and the crowd buzzes with excitement. Max pulls you to your feet, his hands resting lightly on your waist.
“Ready to count down?” He asks, his voice warm and low.
“With you? Always,” you say, grinning.
The countdown begins, and the energy in the room spikes. You can feel the excitement in the air, the anticipation of a new year, a fresh start.
“Ten!” The crowd shouts.
Max’s hands tighten slightly on your waist, and you lean into him, your pulse racing.
“Nine!”
You look up at him, your eyes locking.
“Eight!”
His gaze softens, his smile turning gentle.
“Seven!”
You bite your lip, butterflies fluttering in your stomach.
“Six!”
Max leans down, his forehead brushing against yours.
“Five!”
Your breath catches as the noise of the crowd fades into the background.
“Four!”
“Three!”
“Two!”
You close your eyes, tilting your head up.
“One!”
Midnight strikes, and Max’s lips meet yours, soft and certain. The room erupts in cheers and confetti, but all you can focus on is the way he’s holding you, like you’re the only person in the world.
The kiss deepens, his hands sliding to your back, pulling you closer. You smile against his lips, your heart full and light-
Only to be rudely interrupted by someone literally wedging themselves between you.
“Alright, break it up!”
You stumble back a step, blinking in surprise. Max looks just as stunned, his hands still midair where they’d been resting on your waist.
Fernando stands between you, his arms crossed and a deeply unimpressed look on his face. “Leave room for Jesus.”
You gape at him, your cheeks burning. “Papá! What the hell are you doing?”
“I think the better question,” he says, looking pointedly at Max, “is what you two were doing.”
Max stares at him, then throws his hands up. “We were kissing. It’s New Year’s!”
Fernando raises an eyebrow. “And you couldn’t do that with a little more … decorum?”
“You’re not even religious!” You protest, exasperated.
Fernando smirks, clearly enjoying himself. “And that’s why, by Jesus, I mean me.”
Max blinks. “You mean … you?”
You stare at your father, your frustration warring with the urge to laugh. “Are you serious right now?”
“Completely,” Fernando says, deadpan. “Now, why don’t we all take a nice step back, breathe, and reflect on the fact that I’m allowing this relationship to exist at all.”
“Allowing?” Max echoes, crossing his arms. “With all due respect, I don’t think you get to allow anything anymore.”
Fernando turns to him, one eyebrow raised. “Oh, is that so?”
“Yes,” Max says firmly. “We’re adults. And we’re together. Whether you approve or not.”
Fernando looks at him for a long moment, then lets out a low chuckle. “Well, at least you’ve got guts.”
“More than that,” you interject, stepping between them. “He’s good to me. Better than anyone else ever has been. And I love him.”
Fernando’s smirk fades, replaced by something softer. He looks at you, his expression unreadable, then nods slowly. “I know.”
“You know?” You ask, surprised.
He shrugs. “Of course I know. I’m your father.”
Max exchanges a glance with you, clearly just as confused. “So … what’s with all the drama, then?”
Fernando grins, stepping back. “Because it’s fun.”
You groan, burying your face in your hands again. “I can’t believe this.”
Max laughs, pulling you into his side. “I can.”
Fernando claps Max on the shoulder, his grin widening. “Happy New Year, Verstappen. Don’t screw it up.”
Max meets his gaze, his expression serious. “I won’t.”
Fernando nods, then turns to you. “And you — try to keep him out of trouble, will you?”
You smile, leaning into Max. “I’ll do my best.”
Fernando waves you off, disappearing back into the crowd with a casual, “Don’t make me come back over here.”
Max watches him go, then turns to you, shaking his head. “Your dad’s insane.”
“Welcome to my world,” you say, laughing.
He grins, leaning down to kiss you again. This time, no one interrupts.

reader being jealous bc girls where hitting on plug sev at the house party
maybe some jealous sex?!
oh fuck yes
men and minors dni
it's hard for plugs to compete with dispensaries nowadays. so, since you've started dating her, you've started helping her add a little extra flare to her buisness.
you buy her cute little baggies to make deliveries in, tying ribbons around the top just for some extra fun.
you make delicious edibles, batch after batch of gooey brownies and cinnamon rolls coming out of your oven (you wearing a flouncy little pink apron sevika bought for you.)
and you always accompany sevika on her longer deliveries, keeping her company and making sure she's getting all her money.
sevika makes good money, but with your help, she's making great money.
and now it's the holidays-- the busiest time of the year for a dealer. people are desperate to relax amidst all the seasonal stress and extended family time.
sevika's been making bank.
today, the two of you were invited to an old friend's holiday party to sell. which is how you find yourself hauling crates of christmas ribbon wrapped dime bags, batches of laced christmas cookies, and a variety of chirstmas themed glass pipes into a mansion on a cold december evening.
"baby, you're gonna break one of your nails!" sevika gasps when she sees you, snatching the trays of cookies out of your hands. you chuckle.
"i'm jus' tryna help you unload."
"you don't need to help me do anything, doll. you just gotta sit inside and look pretty-- lure some customers over for us." she says with a wink. you laugh and elbow your girlfriend.
"how much are we trying to make tonight?" you ask.
sevika shrugs. "i'd be happy with a thousand." you scoff. sevika looks over at you with a smirk. "what?"
"baby, we're making more than a thousand."
"what makes you so sure?"
"have you tried my cookies?!"
sevika cackles and pulls you in for a kiss with her free arm.
as much as you love an excuse to dress up-- you hate parties. so does sevika. so, you guys set up in a dark little corner and have a few drinks while you wait for guests to arrive. sevika rolls joints and has you lick them shut. you elbow her when she starts to give you bedroom eyes. "the dj isn't even here yet, sev, you're gonna have to wait."
"i'm just lookin' at you! i can look at you as much as i want, you're my girlfriend." she says with a grin. you giggle and kiss her cheek.
sevika eats one of your cookies and moans obscenely. you roll your eyes, but your cunt throbs. she shoves half the cookie in your mouth before you can refuse. you giggle around crumbs.
by the time guests start to arrive, you're feeling ready for social interaction. you're loose on the spiked eggnog, giggly from sevika's flirtations, and your edible's just starting to kick in, making you feel chatty and sociable.
so, when a girl approaches sevika with a friendly smile and a lingering glance, it takes you a little longer than it usually would for you to realize that this bitch is flirting with sevika.
at least, you're 80% sure.
she's licked her lips like twelve times since she's come over, she's been talking to sevika for ten minutes, and she hasn't looked at you once. but you can't freak out yet, because she hasn't done anything really wrong... yet.
"so... are you interested in buying anything?" you ask.
the girl blinks over at you, then laughs and looks back at sevika. "no... but i might need a dealer in the future. could i get your number, just in case, sev?" she asks, reaching across the table and touching sevika's bicep.
your stomach lurches, and your nostrils flare. "oh, fuck no." you grumble.
sevika reaches out and clamps a strong arm around your waist, keeping you pinned to your seat. you growl. the woman across your table doesn't even notice. "'m afraid i only give my number to repeat customers. 's just a matter of security." she says.
"mmm. well maybe i could get it for a different reason?"
you might go to jail tonight.
sevika pinches your hip, and she speaks. "no, you can't. you can fuck off, actually. you've wasted my time and disrespected my girlfriend."
"you have a girlfriend?"
you have to laugh.
you rip yourself out of sevika's grip, grab one of the fat pre-rolls on the table and storm off to the patio, trying to convince yourself not to go back and do something that will get you arrested. this is a rich neighborhood. the cops will be called even if you only pull a little bit of her hair out. or bite her just a bit. or scratch her eyes with your fresh christmas themed stiletto set.
"fucking bitch!" you scream, kicking over a garden gnome. you pout a bit when his head comes off. "sorry." you say, bending over to pick him up and put his head back on. "sorry."
you get about halfway through your calm-down joint before sevika finds you.
"what're you doing out here?"
"i had ran watch the table for me."
"no, i mean, shouldn't you be with your new girlfriend?" you ask. sevika chuckles and you glare at her.
"baby." she reaches out and grabs your wrist. you let her tug you into her chest, groaning as she does. "do you really think i'd cheat on you? or are you just possessive?" she asks. you glare up at her, then pout. she grins and nods. "possessive." she decides. "i can work with that."
before you can respond, sevika's plucking the joint out of your hands, stubbing it out and pocketing it, and tugging you into the shrubbery beside the patio.
sevika pins you to a cold dark brick wall, and she shoves her mouth against yours before you can gasp. oh fuck. sevika's kissing you like she's gonna fuck you; her tongue sliding against yours, her moans low and emphatic. her hands are shoving your clothes up, the night air making you shiver and jump, her warm fingers making you melt in her hold.
"mmmph... seb--" you mumble against her. she pulls back to start sucking hickeys on your throat, her hands fondling your tits. "sevika!"
"you wan' me to stop?" she asks.
you consider the question. it's quiet out-- just the sound of your heaving breaths, some crickets, and the bushes rustling as sevika moves against you. your cunt's throbbing. before you can answer, sevika speaks again.
"i don't think you do. i think you're so fuckin' needy for me that you get stupid. you forget, don't you? forget how good i am to you? forget that i worship you?"
"i-i get jealous..." you whine.
sevika laughs and shoves a thigh between yours. "i know baby. i think it's cute. need me to remind you how much i love you?" she asks, her hand trailing up your thigh and ducking under your skirt. she fiddles with the thin band of your panties. you whimper.
"y-yes please." you whine. sevika grins, and then she shoves her hand down your panties. "f-fuck! your fingers are so big." you whine as she shoves her pointer finger inside you. she chuckles.
"you're so fuckin' wet, fuck, i love this pussy. i love you. so fuckin' cute tonight in your little christmas sweater-- y' look like a gingerbread house."
you giggle at your girlfriend's rambling, then sneak your hands up under her shirt and start scratching her back. sevika growls and bites your neck again. "fuck!" you squeak.
"shush!" sevika giggles. "fuck. can't wait to get home. gonna eat you up, my gingerbread girl."
you groan. "corny!"
sevika giggles. "whatever. i'll sit on your face, than."
"yes please." you whine.
sevika starts to work another finger inside of you, and you cum, shivering in her arms as she kisses you to muffle your moans.
"you're so fuckin' hot, baby, oh my god." sevika whines. "fuck, fuck i'm gonna be wet all fuckin' night."
"i'll take care of you, sev."
"now?" she asks, hopefully.
you giggle and kiss her. "after you make your thousand." you promise.
sevika groans and smacks your ass.

in the three years since mingi started volunteering as a dj at the university radio station, the little room they broadcast out of has become something like a second home to him.
three out of four of the walls are covered floor to ceiling with shelves that sag from the amount of vinyls, cassette tapes, and cds crammed onto them. tucked into one corner is a mini fridge that was found abandoned after move-out day years ago, and sitting on top is a weak little keurig gifted by the previous faculty sponsor. there’s a musty old leather couch shoved against the singular non-shelved wall, and in the middle of the whole room is the desk, overloaded with several monitors, a keyboard, and the sound board. the whole room smells faintly like sour coffee and old grandpa, but mingi has learned to love it all the same.
tonight, though, mingi would rather be anywhere else than here. grumpily, he blinks at the red numbers of the digital clock on the corner of the desk. 02:13 AM, it reads. he wishes he could go back in time and take a different shift, but the mingi from a month ago never could’ve anticipated all the developments that have happened over the last few weeks.
first, his compilers assignment is kicking his ass. he’s been working tirelessly on it for three weeks now, but his results are still a little off and the due date is fast approaching at the end of the week. he doesn’t even have any classmates to fall back on for help, since he’s taking the course a semester ahead of his other friends, and he hasn’t had enough time to make new ones yet.
second, his best-friend-roommate yunho just got a new girlfriend, which means he’s been spending less time hanging out with mingi. mingi likes to think that he’s not too clingy or needy, but he misses the routine of waking up to the smell of yunho burning breakfast and then getting in a game of valorant together before going to bed. instead, he’s had to play nice with yunho’s new girlfriend whenever she invades their apartment with her neverending peppiness, and sleep with noise-canceling earbuds because he and yunho share a wall.
he’s sleep-deprived and stressed and lonely and really wants a goddamn hug from literally anyone.
but he’s forced to toil away in the tiny campus radio station studio, where the playlist he’d painstakingly arranged last week to blend seamlessly between songs does nothing to soothe his anxieties.
⋆⋆⋆
there’s still half an hour left of mingi’s shift, but he’s already queued up all the music and timed out the ads, so he’s mostly just focused on chipping away at his assignment. the adrenaline from the celsius he crushed when he first arrived is already started to fade, and mingi is seriously thinking about digging out the elfbar from the bottom of his backpack (that he promised yunho he’d throw away) to extend the last fumes of his focus.
this train of thought is thankfully interrupted by the door of the studio being thrown open unceremoniously.
“shit!”
even on a good day, mingi is a jumpy person, and having the blinding light of the hallway enter the dark studio with no warning makes his heart skip several beats. his knee jerks up on instinct, and it whacks painfully against the bottom of the desk.
“ah, oops. sorry!”
standing in the doorway, haloed in fluorescent light, and appearing practically angelic, is none other than you. you have enough wherewithal to at least look apologetic, but mingi doesn’t care either way because it’s you.
you’re a senior—one year above mingi—and the one who trained him to be a dj when he was a freshman. back then, he’d been starstruck by how outgoing you are, the way you’d tease him with the familiarity of a close friend even though you were practically strangers. you have this eclectic but broad taste in music, and he likes that you challenge him to listen to new artists and genres.
and of course—you’re fucking hot. you’ve always been beautiful, with shining eyes and a big wide smile. but over the years, you’ve changed your hair style, dyed the ends, gotten a couple of piercings and tattoos, and it’s been game over for mingi ever since.
so yeah, he’s had a crippling crush on you that’s only gotten worse with time.
“hi,” mingi says dumbly, massaging his knee where the pain has already mysteriously disappeared.
“hey!” you say breezily, beaming because it’s clear now that he won’t yell at you for scaring him.
“do you have the next shift?” mingi asks, using all his brainpower to compose a coherent sentence. he’s usually able to act relatively normal around you, but he’s all out of sorts right now, and it’s nearly 2:30 fucking am.
“oh, no,” you say. “i just really needed a caffeine fix, and this is the only place i could think of that’s still open on campus for me to get some.”
you both glance over at the sad excuse of a coffee station the studio has, and mingi lets out an undignified snort.
“it is what it is,” you sigh.
while mingi tries to think of a conversation starter, he turns back to his laptop so he’s not just staring at you like some lovesick puppy.
your normally styled hair is thrown into an afterthought of a bun, but mingi likes that he can see the elegant line of your neck and the line of silver hoops stacked along your ears. you’re also wearing those rimless bayonetta glasses that he loves, and he always gets distracted by the little sparkle charm you added that dangles from the hinge.
“aw man,” you say. “there aren’t any pods left.”
mingi glances up briefly from his laptop to see you pouting down at the little box where they usually keep the coffee pods.
cute, he thinks.
“hongjoong ordered more last week,” mingi says, waving towards the storage closet behind him. “but he hid them so people don’t try to steal them in bulk.”
at his words, you perk up and scamper towards the closet after dumping your backpack onto the couch.
with you out of sight, some of the nervous tension in mingi’s muscles finally bleeds out. mingi throws his glasses down onto the table and rubs at his weary eyes until he sees fireworks against the backs of his eyelids. he wishes he had even an ounce of the charisma that yunho has, but he’s so fucking tired right now that he can’t think of anything even remotely charming to talk to you about. eventually, he slams his forehead down onto the table and entertains the thought of knocking himself out. before he can let his imagination run too wild, he hears the sound of something heavy falling and a whispered “fuck!”
concerned, mingi straightens and rolls his chair closer to the threshold of the storage closet.
“you good?” he asks.
he forgot to put his glasses back on, so you’re really more of a blurry blob of a person, but somehow your sheepish smile still manages to come through.
“i found the pods!” you say brightly, pointing at a large cardboard box on the top shelf. “but, i can’t reach them.”
mingi huffs out a laugh and stands up. finally, it feels like something is going right for him tonight. you are short and need help, and mingi is tall and can help you.
he’s so hyper-focused on his task that he doesn’t think twice about crowding up behind you. doesn’t think twice about bracing one hand against your back to keep himself steady as he reaches with his other hand for the box. doesn’t think twice about leaning around your smaller frame to present you with the thing.
“here,” he says, except it comes out breathy and rough because he’s just stretched his body for the first time in what feels like ages.
he doesn’t realize how close your faces are until you utter a soft thank you, and the words ghost along his cheekbone. he shudders at the sensation, and all at once the rest of his brain and body come online to recognize the position you’re arranged in.
it’s cramped in the closet, and mingi’s a big guy. his entire front is pressed up against your back, and the hand he’d used to balance himself has somehow slipped down to your waist, and you’ve turned your head slightly so that you can look up at him.
mingi stares down at you, and you’re seriously so close that he doesn’t need his glasses to see the way your lips part, the way your eyebrows furrow.
“um,” he says intelligently.
oh-so-slowly, you push your glasses up onto your head and turn around to fully face him. like always, that stupid sparkle charm entrances mingi.
and then suddenly, he’s pulled down by the front of his shirt, and you surge up to meet him. your lips collide together with so much force that your teeth clack, but mingi doesn’t care because jesus fucking christ. he shoves the pods onto the nearest shelf to get his other hand onto your waist too. god, it’s been a while since the last time he’s made out with someone like this. while his mouth works furiously to remember how to kiss well, he fumbles his palms over the curves of your body. meanwhile, your fingers dance confidently along his chest and collarbones, finally curling into the hair at the nape of his neck. when you tug lightly, mingi actually whimpers.
he pulls back, embarrassed, but you look delighted.
“oh,” you breathe, grinning. “oh, fuck—make that noise again.”
mingi stares at you, uncomprehending and breathing like he’s just run a race. you tug again. mingi keens.
“cute,” you murmur. “c’mere.”
you don’t give mingi the chance to second-guess anything as you pull him back down. your chapstick tastes like peaches, and your tongue is doing things that mingi’s never felt before. you touch him everywhere—run your hands along his chest, his stomach, his back, his arms. mingi is putty in your arms, and he stops trying to hold back the sounds that you tease out of him.
you make out sloppily for what seems like hours. it’s so nice and mindless that mingi doesn’t even realize that he’s half-hard in his jeans until you finally take a step back.
like the fucking touch-starved idiot he is, he unconsciously leans forward to chase after you. in response, you grin and press a single finger against his chest to hold him off.
“it’s almost the next shift,” you say quietly. “we should probably get out of here.”
“oh,” mingi croaks, as reality settles back in. “oh. yeah.”
you peck the underside of his jaw, and then leave the storage closet.
mingi stays for a second longer, collecting himself. finally, he grabs the box of coffee pods and follows you back into the studio.
he can’t get a read on you as you wordlessly retrieve your backpack. he mirrors your movement, albeit more lethargically. he feels like he’s drunk or high or both, body moving sluggishly, and he’s so so confused.
jongho, who’s taking the 3 am shift, shows up in the middle of your silence as a much needed buffer. it takes mingi five minutes to hand over control, and when he’s done, he’s disappointed to see that you aren’t in the room anymore. dejected, he says goodbye to jongho and leaves the studio, only to find you waiting in the hallway.
you look up when he stops in front of you and smile at him.
“walk me to my car?” you say.
mingi smiles shyly back at you. “yeah. okay.”
you start down the hallway, but mingi halts abruptly. “didn’t you- um- your coffee?” mingi stutters. jesus, he really needs to pull himself together.
you quirk your head to one side and then takes a step into mingi’s space. your gaze darkens, and your smile stretches into a smirk.
“nah,” you whisper, reaching to drag your thumb along his bottom lip. “i got my fix.”
oh, mingi thinks giddily. she means me!
“c’mon,” you say, your face softening and your hand finding mingi’s. “it’s late.”
“yeah,” mingi says dreamily, trailing after you.
⋆⋆⋆
in the days following, mingi doesn’t see you at all.
this isn’t uncommon—you’re different years and majors, after all. but mingi is still bummed about it. he has your number, but he’s never texted you besides to talk about campus radio logistics. sometimes, you’ll send each other a new song or artist to nerd out over, but mingi feels like it’s a little too transparent if he texts you now when the last time you exchanged messages was weeks ago.
every night, though, mingi replays what happened in his head over and over again. how you had been the one to initiate, to guide and control the entire encounter—how that had turned him on in ways he’d never imagined. he tries vainly not to think about you when he jerks off, but right as he’s about to cum, his thoughts always stray to the way you’d tugged at his hair and cooed at his embarrassing noises.
in the aftermath, he’ll try to think instead of the way you held his hand while they walked to your car. the walk had been short but sweet. you’d been the one to intertwine your fingers, and mingi hadn’t been able to hide the stupid smile on his face as your hands swung between the two of you.
you’d given him one last kiss on the cheek before saying good night.
the rest of the night was a haze: walking to his car, driving home, falling asleep the moment his head hit his pillow without even changing out of his clothes.
⋆⋆⋆
it’s friday night, and mingi has managed to finish his godforsaken compilers assignment, so he’s planning on getting wasted.
mingi is still largely undecided on how he feels about yunho’s new girlfriend, but the one thing going in her favor is the fact that she’s the delta gamma social chair and—because of some bylaw somewhere—has automatic entry to every relevant frat party. she can even bring other people with her, as long as it’s not an egregious amount.
and that’s how mingi finds himself in the middle of an SAE party, just the right side of tipsy. he’s nursing a sweating can of beer and watching yunho and wooyoung absolutely destroy a couple of pledges at beer pong. when they win, mingi pounces on them, but ends up empty-handed as they’re each pulled into congratulatory embraces by their respective significant others.
suddenly, despite being surrounded by people, mingi feels incredibly lonely. it’s like he’s been doused in ice water, the way his head clears and his heart sinks. he knows it’s a passing feeling, knows that in two seconds his friends will turn their attention back to him, but the shots and beers from earlier tonight no longer sit right in his bloodstream.
under the guise of getting another drink, mingi ducks away from his friends and looks for someplace with a little more space and air. he wanders towards the yard, where there’s far fewer people. all of the lawn chairs available are already occupied, so mingi leans up against the wall and pulls out his phone. he’s two scrolls into his instagram feed when something collides into his side hard enough to make him let out a soft oof.
he thinks it must be some random drunk, but instead it’s—
you.
“mingi!” you shriek.
your arms wrap around his middle, and you gaze up at him with glazed over eyes. you’re wearing this tight black shirt with a big square neckline, and you’re all squished up against him so mingi gets an eyeful of your cleavage.
he swallows painfully.
“y/n!” he says, trying to match your energy without being as loud.
you peer around him, almost like you’re looking for someone else. “are you here by yourself?” you ask.
“no,” mingi says. “my friends are inside. i just wanted to get some air.”
“ah.” you nod sagely. “do you smoke? like—get high?”
mingi shrugs, and you bounce with glee. you drag him by the wrist over to a small cluster of people sitting around one of the few lawn tables available.
“sit sit sit!” you say, pushing him into the one empty chair before unceremoniously plopping yourself down in his lap. dumbstruck, mingi just sits there with his hands lying limply against the armrests as you shuffle around in his fucking lap to find a comfortable position. every ounce of his energy is going towards not popping a boner right now.
instead, he focuses on trying to recognize the people sitting around the table. there’s kim hongjoong, the president of your campus radio org, and his boyfriend park seonghwa. beside them is chaewon, your best friend, also sitting in the lap of some guy who mingi assumes is her boyfriend.
shit—what are these people assuming about him, then?
“here,” you say, thrusting a small object like a usb towards his lips. “take a hit of penelope.”
“penelope?” mingi’s like, still reeling from everything that’s happened in the last five minutes.
you giggle. “my pen. here.”
obediently, mingi leans towards and fits his lips around the tiny weed pen. it’s been a while since he last got high—yunho and wooyoung both run cross-country and don’t like messing around with drugs while they’re in season. he tries to take a shallow hit, but doesn’t end up getting anything, so he throws all caution to the wind and inhales deeply. the tangy sour smoke hits the back of his throat harder than the smooth mintyness of his elfbar, so of course—
he ends up coughing.
little puffs of smoke leave his mouth and nose as he splutters. thankfully, everyone barely laughs at him. in fact, hongjoong hands him a bottle of water which he chugs gratefully.
“sorry, been a while,” mingi rasps, when he finally manages to take a normal breath.
you hum and brush some of mingi’s hair behind his ear. “cute.”
this nearly sends mingi into another coughing fit, but he manages to just laugh breathlessly instead. clutching the water bottle to him like a lifeline, he sinks back into his chair so that maybe he can be less in the spotlight.
“—anyway,” chaewon says, and mingi lets out a sigh of relief at the turn of attention, “sannie, tell them about all the shit they made you do when you were a pledge.”
san—the one guy mingi didn’t know—sighs and pinches chaewon’s thigh.
“babe, you can’t just make me tell this story to everyone. trade secrets, and whatever.”
hongjoong snorts. “so they got you pretty good, huh?”
“goddamnit,” san is like.
so san regails them with the harrowing tale of him pledging SAE, and mingi finally lets himself relax. san has this soft, earnest voice, and it’s nice to listen to. at some point, you press penelope into his hand, and even later, mingi works up the courage to take another hit. this one is much more successful than the last, and gradually, mingi works up a nice buzz. it spurs him to tug you deeper into his lap, fit his hands around your waist—jesus, have you always been this small compared to him?
mingi has no idea how long he spends there, vibing with you and your friends. he’s halfway to asleep when suddenly he feels something trail along his jawline. he feels the telltale graze of lips against his skin, and his pulse jumps.
suddenly, he is incredibly awake.
you nose at his neck, leave the lightest of kisses. mingi becomes hyper aware of his surroundings, and finally realizes that conversation’s been dead for a while. chaewon is fully straddling san in his chair, and hongjoong and seonghwa have disappeared.
“you wanna get out of here?” you murmur.
“yeah. yeah.”
⋆⋆⋆
mingi is aware enough to shoot a text off to his group chat with yunho and wooyoung letting them know that he’s going home with someone. he feels an odd rush of validation from the subsequent onslaught of vulgar texts and emojis he gets in response.
your place isn’t far from greek row, so you walk there. once again, you have threaded your fingers together, and mingi is noticing for the first time just how small your hand is compared to his. with your other hand, you scroll through your spotify playlists, trying to find one that “fits the ambiance” of the walk before settling for one titled vaporwave vibes.
mingi is just happy to be involved.
you’re a giggly mess as you stumble-walk-run into your apartment.
“roommate—?” mingi asks, as two of you toe off your shoes, and you turn up the volume of your music.
“chaewon’s shacking up at the SAE house tonight,” you say, grinning. you lean in close to mingi and poke his nose. “so you can be as loud as you wanna be, baby.”
baby?!
you lead mingi to your bedroom, where you spare a few seconds to turn on a lamp that casts the room into a soft pink hue and plug your phone into a speaker. you choose a different playlist—one with soft r&b and lofi.
then, you crawl onto your bed, swaying your hips as you do. mingi just stares at you, suddenly very out of his depth. this feels infinitely different from making out in a storage closet. this is your apartment, your room, your bed.
you’re leaned back against your pillows now, head cocked and eyes half-lidded.
you spread you legs and beckon mingi to come closer.
“c’mon, baby. let’s have some fun, hm?”
like a man possessed, mingi steps forward until he hits the edge of the mattress, and then he falls onto his knees, shuffling forward until he’s hovering between your thighs.
“cute.”
mingi waits for you to make the first move, because that’s what he’s used to, and you do. you hook your hands around his neck and pull him down, presses your lips together chastely. mingi’s eyes flutter close, and he lets instinct take over.
you must be wearing something like lipgloss tonight, because your lips are tackier than last time, and they taste like cherry. mingi’s intoxicated by it. he deepens the kiss, adds some tongue. his hands run along your thighs, your hips, your waist.
you do that thing with his hair again, and he whimpers. he feels you smile. you move his hands over your chest, inviting him to really touch, and he moans involuntarily when he realizes that you’re not wearing a bra under your shirt.
“take it off,” you breathe, and mingi obeys immediately.
“fuckk,” he whines when he sees your tits. “fuck—you’re so—”
he surges forward and fits his mouth over one of your nipples and sucks. this time, it’s you who moans, and the sense of triumph rushes straight to mingi’s dick. after only a few minutes of worshipping your tits, mingi is already so hard he could cut through glass.
“you, too,” you say, trying to pull off mingi’s shirt. “take this off—take it all off.”
so he strips. first his shirt, then his jeans. he curses as he struggles with the button and the zip—when choosing his outfit earlier, he’d only been thinking about how this pair are a little tight so they make his ass look good. now, he’s straining to get them off without looking like an idiot.
finally, he manages to tug the jeans down to mid-thigh, which means you get a better view of the outline of his cock in his briefs. at least he wore dark underwear so you can’t see the frankly embarrassing wet patch that mingi knows is there. he’s always leaked like a faucet.
"god, i knew you'd be big," you sigh as mingi finishes shucking off his pants ungracefully.
he freezes, feeling a little exposed but also a little bold.
"you- have you thought about me- this before?" he asks.
"of course," you smirk. "big shy boy like you? that's my favorite."
you sit up onto your elbows and reach forward with one hand to cup his bulge. you squeeze, and mingi keens. it takes every drop of mingi's self-control to not cum on the spot. instead he falls onto his forearms and buries his face into your neck.
“fuck,” he squeaks.
you continue to work his dick through his briefs, but with such a light, teasing touch that mingi starts rutting helplessly into your hand to get more friction. it’s been a while since someone else has gotten him off, and the weed is making him so so sensitive.
"wanna- wanna make you feel good," he pants, but he can’t stop grinding down against you like some stupid fucking dog.
"yeah?” you goad. “you wanna fuck me with your big dumb cock? do you even know how to use that thing?"
mingi whimpers. “yes, yes—please. let me- let me show you. please.”
“okay, big boy,” you whisper into his ear, finally letting him go. “show me.”
mingi doesn’t waste any time after that. he pulls off your pants and your underwear in one go. he’s practically drooling at the sight of your cunt and can’t help himself from running a finger reverently through your folds.
you’re wet.
because of him.
he drops down in front of your pussy and licks a line from your entrance to your clit. you fucking moan.
“yeah?” you say, all dominant like always but a little breathless. “you gonna prep me first? gonna prep me for your huge dick?”
in response, mingi attaches his mouth to your clit and buries a finger into your hole.
“ah—fuck!”
one finger turns into two into three quickly, as mingi works you open, all while lapping at your clit. he has limited experience with this so he’s not super confident in his ability, but you’re making these high-pitched noises that must mean he’s doing something right. and then you tug at his hair, forcing his head back.
“thought you were gonna fuck me?” you say.
“yes, yeah, sorry.”
mingi has enough wherewithal to ask about condoms and lube, and while he tugs off his underwear, you retrieve the stuff from your nightstand. he’s so keyed up that he fumbles the condom, can’t get a good grip to tear it open, and finally resorts to biting one corner with his teeth to rip off an edge. it works, and he spits out the little piece of foil somewhere onto the bed beside them.
“oh, fuck.” he hears, and it’s the first semblance of a whine from you.
with renewed vigor, mingi rolls the condom onto his dick, hissing at finally getting some stimulation after being hard and untouched for so long.
“c’mon, c’mon,” you say, throwing the lube at him. “hurry up.”
he squeezes some of the lube onto his hand—there’s a light red sheen to it and a faint scent of cherry. feverishly, he thinks the smell of cherries is going to be ruined for him forever as he spreads the lube over the condom.
and then he presses just the tip into your entrance, and already he knows he’s not going to last long. you’re just too warm, too wet, too tight.
“jesus,” he whimpers, as he presses deeper into your cunt. “you’re fucking perfect.”
“fuck,” you groan. “you’re so fucking big.”
“gonna- gonna make you feel good,” mingi promises. “gonna fuck you so good.”
when he’s finally bottomed out, he takes a second. he hopes it looks like he’s just being considerate of his size, but really it’s mostly for himself, to make sure he’s not a one thrust wonder. and then you clench around him.
“fuck!”
it startles him into moving—with a strong grip on your thighs, he thrusts into you with so much force that the bed frame groans.
“ah- yeah, baby. just like that. fuck, so good. so good, so big—so full. fuck!”
you babble nonsense into his ear, but every syllable fuels mingi’s determination. he snaps his hips against yours until his thighs burn, and then some more. but even in spite of his sheer will, mingi is just a guy finally fucking the girl of his dreams, and so his orgasm sneaks up on him entirely too fast.
“oh, fuck. oh, fuck. i’m sorry, i’m sorry—i’m gonna cum, i’m gonna—”
he collapses onto you as he spills into the condom, his entire body twitching with pleasure from the sensation. seconds later, shame and guilt wash over him. he pulls out and crawls down your body to shove his face into your cunt.
he fingers you while he eats you out again, this time quirking his fingers for your g-spot. he’s delirious and desperate—needs to prove that he’s not just some guy who cums without getting off his partner. needs you to enjoy this as much as he is—needs you to want more.
“yeah, yeah, that’s a good boy,” you praise as he laps at your cunt like it’s his job. “so good, baby boy. so good. yeah, just like that—gonna cum. gonna—”
mingi can’t help himself. he pulls back when you climax so that he can watch. he finger-fucks you through it, but his focus is on the way your face scrunches up with euphoria, the way your back arches off the bed in pleasure.
finally, you shove his hand away.
“‘s too much,” you mumble, burying your face into your pillows.
mingi collapses down beside you, completely spent.
he comes to a few minutes later, when he feels the bed shift as you sit up. he must make some kind of noise, because you duck down close, brush the sweaty hair off of his forehead and kiss his temple.
“shh,” you soothe. “it’s okay. you can rest, baby. i’ll clean us up.”
“wait—let me help,” he slurs, starting to sit up.
“no no,” you coo, pushing him back down. “don’t worry, baby. i got it.”
mingi hums, too tired and spent anyway to argue. it’s nice, for once, to be the one being taken care of. he snuggles contently deeper into the bed.
it smells like sex and sweat, but also something kinda sweet. oh, right—cherries.
he drifts off to sleep soon after.
⋆⋆⋆
the next morning, mingi wakes up disoriented, pleasantly sore, but incredibly well-rested. the weed helped offset the alcohol, and the only grossness he feels is from not showering or brushing his teeth before falling asleep.
the bed is unfortunately empty, but the smell of fresh coffee in the air keeps mingi from spiraling too much about it. he lopes around the room, searching for his clothes. he locates those godforsaken tight jeans (which take him far too much effort to stuff himself back into), but doesn’t manage to find his shirt, so he sheepishly wanders into the kitchen shirtless like a moron.
the mystery of his shirt is solved immediately when he sees that you are wearing it. the hem falls right below your ass, and when you move a certain way, mingi can see the bottoms of your cheeks and the hint of black panties.
jesus, even after having the orgasm of his life last night, he’s still so easy.
“morning!” you chirp, when you notice his presence.
“morning,” mingi rasps. “can i- uh- can i help with anything?”
you pause to shoot him a big smile. “no, don’t worry, baby. just sit down. there’s coffee in that mug over there. milk in the fridge.”
mildly stunned at the revelation that your pet names aren’t exclusive to sexy time, mingi follows your instructions. he retrieves a carton of oat milk from the fridge and adds it to his coffee before hopping on a barstool at the kitchen island. he positively inhales the coffee, which must be some kind of special blend because it’s especially fragrant, and watches you bustle around the kitchen with efficiency.
the two of you settle into a comfortable silence, and it’s strangely intimate—domestic—but mingi doesn’t let that part of his imagination run too wild. for his own sanity, it’s probably best if he just takes whatever this is with you one day at a time.
soon, you slide a plate of scrambled eggs, bacon, and buttered toast in front of him. you prance into the barstool beside him, nudging it closer so that your knees touch under the countertop.
it smells heavenly, reminds him of weekend breakfasts with his own family, and before he can stop himself, he says,
“thanks, mommy.”
it’s the kind of shithead joke he pulls with yunho and wooyoung often, but with you, it drips with subtext. over the rim of your coffee cup, you raise an eyebrow at him, and he feels his entire face heat up with embarrassment.
“i mean- um—”
“didn’t know you were into that kinda stuff,” you coo. “guess i’ll have to remember that for next time.”
mingi digs into his eggs so that he doesn’t have to look you in the eye while he processes that. next time?!
the rest of breakfast passes uneventfully. you take the reins of the conversation, yapping about your thoughts on chaewon’s frat bro boyfriend. mingi gives all the appropriate reactions at the appropriate times and just basks in the joy of eating a home-cooked breakfast the morning after having sex with his long-time crush.
later, mingi will rinse off your dishes and load them into the dishwasher, and you will return his shirt to him before sending him off with another chaste kiss to the cheek. mingi decides to walk back to his own apartment even though it’s nearly a mile away. but the sun is shining and the birds are chirping and his phone—barely hanging on with 10% battery—buzzes in his pocket with a single text:
y/n l/n has invited you to collaborate on a playlist: mommy issues ;)

Thinking about hate sex between two band members from rivaling bands… using Korean bands because they’re the only bands I know well enough. Bottom male reader.
Anyway, you being apart of a new band that’s climbing on the charts. It’s not overnight success but it’s success any band would pray for in the Korean music market.
Things float well for the first five months until your band is invited to perform at a university’s festival. While there you come across someone you didn’t want to meet.
Your ex boyfriend. Well, ex fuck buddy.
It’s immediate anger when you first see him with his band. When you two notice each other, you immediately make fun of him, wondering why a band as popular as his is playing a small college festival.
Until he says that one of his band mates is an alumni of the school. Embarrassing…
The rest of the night is spent with glares and crass insults. Your band mates were confused the entire time, having never seen you act so childish before. Even his own band mates looked fed up with his antics.
When performances were over, all of the acts got to mingle with the college students. You almost immediately went home until one of your band mates dragged you to at least have one drink.
It was fun for a while. You had your arms wrapped around your band mate’s neck as he tilted your head back, feeding you a shot. His hand gripped your chin as your hands dug into his shirt. It would look oddly intimate to anyone else but you were a bit too drunk at this point to care too much.
Besides, you weren’t that big of a public figure yet to care about your image. You felt your band mate’s hand trail down your back to rest on the curve of your ass as he giggled. You returned the giggle, smiling up at him.
“More?” He asked, though you had to ask him to repeat a few times before you could understand him over the loud DJ.
When he pulled away to go grab another shot, you felt an arm grasp your arm and tug you away. You yelped, trying to fight against the grip of the other person, fearing you somehow got a saesang so early in your career until the street lamps illuminated your attacker.
Fucking…
It was just your ex.
You stopped fighting him and just followed, rolling your eyes. You didn’t notice that you were whining the entire time until your back hit the back of a storage closet, the door slamming shut. Your vision was a bit blurry as the lights were flickered on and there stood your ex boy—ex fuck buddy.
“Wha..? I was just about to get another shot fed to me! Move man…” You moved forward but was slammed right back into the wall. It practically knocked you sober as you glared up at him.
“Dude what the—”
You didn’t get to say anything else as he pressed his lips against yours, pressing you hard against the wall. You couldn’t kiss back as he took total control of the kiss. Your hands reached to push him away but he easily pushed them away, slamming them against the wall as well.
His hands trailed down to your hands, sticking them inside as he grabbed a handful of your ass. Your strangled gasps filled the storage closet as you tried to keep your voice down. You tried to cuss him out.
“Stop? Why should I when you’re pulling me closer?”
You glanced down at your hands to see them gripping at his shirt, tugging him forward. A flush of embarrassment washed over you as you tried to come up with a lie but he reached up and grabbed your chin, forcing your head back.
His eyes narrowed as he stared at your face, taking you in while you felt your cock twitch in your boxers that felt too tight now.
It felt like a blink of an eye when you were suddenly pressed against the wall on your stomach as he shoved your pants down. You whimpered but did nothing to stop him as he ate you out.
You almost wondered why you even broke up with him when his tongue was this good… until he pulled away just as you were on the edge of an orgasm. Your eyes watched him with eye wides as he stood up and stared at you with a wide smirk.
“You can take care of the rest, right?” He asked, his lips moving into a slight snarl as his eyes narrowed. “Or maybe call that band mate of yours. You were practically on his dick earlier.”
With that he left, slamming the door shut behind him. You stared at him shock as you fell to your knees.
That fucking dick…
What the fuck was his problem?!
Thinking… if enough of yall are curious.. to expand this into a full fic. I actually might just do it anyway but would love to know if you guys are interested
