TSR CC Recommendations: TS2 Lot Builders
Nobody asked for this but I have a little time on my hands and I said I might do it, so here is a list of some TSR lot builders who I recommend checking out. A few notes under the cut before we get started (all details under the cut, as well, in case you aren't interested in my preamble):
This is not meant to be paid promotion for TSR. I believe TSR asking users to pay for their CC is ridiculous, especially for a 19 year old game they haven't supported in 7 years. But I spent many years uploading there during the peak-TS2 / pre-TS3 era and know there is great CC in their archives that newer players may not know about. And unlike TheSims2.com, which has sadly shuffled off this mortal coil, TSR's content is still available to freely download (assuming you can stomach the pop-ups and wait times)
This post will only be about lot builders because that was what I was primarily uploading and downloading in this era. I was friendly with some of the creators I am about to list, but none of them are still active members of the TS2 community.
The preview pics might be a little rough and the architecture styles will likely feel very dated compared to the most popular styles these days, which are more colorful, cluttered, and use 3t2 and 4t2 conversions. Re: the previews: too many of us were using free trials of PaintShopPro back then, and TSR limited us to 2 previews, so we did our best. Re: the styles: unlike pre-2010's CAS CC, which was full of hand painted and "realistic" textures (LOL), these are the same objects you can find in the game today, just being used in different ways! Sometimes for the first time! And, yes, while some of these creators used CC, it was mostly Homecrafter walls and floors, as you'll see below.
This was also the hey-day of CFE lot building, which has certainly fallen out of favor to more traditional builds (in part because graphics cards have improved and these types of builds don't look as good in 2024, and also because the great CFE experimenters, builders, and tutorial writers are no longer part of the community and their original discoveries are gone as well - I am happy to go down a massive rabbit hole on this piece of TS2 history if anyone else cares, but trust me, you don't have to care).
Alright that is enough caveating, here are some recs! (Links are in the creator's names and they take you to their Lots, though many of them have other creations, too).
Lord Tiko Speaking of great CFE builders! Lord Tiko built spaceships, boats, pagodas, domes, windmills and bridges, oh so many bridges before retiring mid-TS2 because of health issues. He was one of the first builders to take Daihtnaoz7's single and double bridge tutorials and apply them to really big lots. I'm still not sure how he built the Venice Rialto Bridge, or his other European water lots. Overall, a massive inspiration to me when I was prioritizing CFE builds.
Hatshepsut My favorite "traditional" home builder, and someone I considered a friend. She specialized in English and American builds, and I had many of Hat's houses in my old saves and was impressed by her range and decorating style which was (for the time) more varied than many of her peers. Knew how to take great preview pics of her houses, too.
Tigerblue Another builder I corresponded with, Tigerblue was probably the least prolific uploader on this list for sheer number of uploads, but she also crossed a range of styles. Her builds leaned way into specific styles (see the previews, these were all part of consistent sets of 3,4, or even 10 lots), but this was also what happened when a new EP dropped and everyone raced to uploaded builds using as many of the new objects and styles as possible. Tigerblue just happened to be better at it than most of us.
Cyclonesue Do current TS2 players know Cyclonesue? Because it's hard to think of someone who had a bigger impact on building and decorating of the era, first with her English and Tudor builds and later with her extremely distinct grunge creations. Seriously, check out her Urban Renewal series and the corresponding objects. Iconic stuff that surely now feels frozen in time. I probably only played 20% of her lots that I downloaded, but they still make for great hood decor. Like Tiko, someone who happily experimented with CFE.
Illiana The creator who inspired me to make this list is, ironically, the one on it who I know the least about (she is a Featured Artist but not in the Hall of Fame, whatever that means). I just started playing her Tri-Annyas fraternity house and have a few other lots floating around my game. She built in a range of styles, from classical to modern to Twikki Island to grunge. Revisiting some of them in-game, the TSR previews do not do them justice.
*EXHALES* If you made it to this point, kudos to you. I'm sure there are creators I've forgotten, and houses I haven't linked to, but this is a good starting point for digging into some of the eclectic builds the TSR(chives) have to offer (I just coined that, is it clever? It is not). Maybe I'll do a Part 2 if people like this.
If you have any favorites of your own, let me know what I missed! And as I do with my old Exchange re-uploads, I am tagging @sims2packrat and @oldasscustomcontent for general TS2 history awareness!

While studying for the driver's test I realized the alarming lack of road signs in Sims 2. Here's a motherlode of neighborhood deco.
Included is the air strip from Sims 3 plus a Roaring Heights exclusive recolor, various traffic signs from Sims 3, a streetlight and guard rails from Sims 3, and a flashing caution signal from Ambitions that actually flashes!
All located under Neighborhood Deco - Landmarks
Also included is a few telephone poles and a lamp post ripped from Sims 2 for Xbox and PSP.
As a bonus there's the Sims 1 Hot Date inspired stop sign, a conversion of Cyclonesue's stop sign for Sims 3

When I was a young kid, I would occasionally stay with my grandpa during joint custody. Dude was one of the meanest mfs I've ever met, but when I got to watch him work on his model train table, he turned into Bob Ross. Unfortunately lung cancer did him in before he could ever complete it, last I saw him he was still trying to get that waterfall fountain put in, and for reference that was way back in the summer when LeBron James left for Miami the first time.
When I'd go back to my mother's I'd always beg for a trainset. We lived in a small trailer on a tight budget so a giant table like his was out of the question. Had this model train catalogue that I would stare at for hours, circling all the little sign and tree kits pretending this would finally be the Christmas that my dream of building own little world would come true.
Childhood came and went, we moved around a bit, I ran away, moved around some more, scraped and scratched for another meal, but the thought of constructing my own world persisted.
Today I bring an entire set of neighborhood deco signs, lights, and other roadside infrastructure converted mainly from Sims 3, along with a few props ripped from Sims 2 console ports, just like those fancy railroad kits I would've killed for as a boy. Hope y'all enjoy.

World Downloads(Added information about rabbithole rug).
Hi everyone! First of all, I must apologize. Regarding my previous post about "Victorian Sunset Valley", I deleted it because there was a problem with the save file. There is no problem with the empty world.
I'm really sorry to all the simmers who downloaded, liked, reblogged and commented.
It seems that the problem can be solved by separating the save files, so I decided to share it again. There are no changes to the empty world, so if you have it, please try again.
❖Empty World There are just a Public Lots, a Farm District, and Goth Manor. The two hilltop mansions don't exist yet. This is Sunset Valley long before Mortimer Goth was born.If there is a historic town you have in mind, you are free to build it here.
※An empty world requires the store item "Artemis Temple Frieze (Muse Luxury)".
❖Save files You can enjoy the Victorian era right away, but there are no film careers, universities, or diving spots. There are a few empty plots, so feel free to add them.
This time, I did not build any houses. I only built some public lots, but I changed the color of the buildings I shared before and placed them. The Equestrian Center of EA is very conspicuous, so I built a small racetrack. There is a fire station of EA next to it, but it does not blend in with the scenery very well, so I am thinking of rebuilding it someday.
The address of @ri-el's Sherlock Holmes residence is 221B Baker Street. I wanted to place this residence on the main street, so I set the lot size specifically. Then I placed the lot built by @nornities to match the cafe next door and the stairs leading to the harbor across the road. The harbor is a bit of a tourist area, with trade ships, sightseeing ships, and passenger ships arriving and departing. Some Sims may come to see the steamships, so I prioritized placing it here. There are also lots of great builds by other creators included. Thank you.
Every house has some sort of vehicle (either a horse-drawn carriage or a historic bicycle), and the sight of so many carriages going around town is truly impressive!
It looks heavy, but if you can play the EA Store worlds then I don't think it will be an issue.
Basically, it is a town for enjoying historical play such as the Victorian or Edwardian, but I think it can also be enjoyed in normal play.
The decoration is minimal, so feel free to edit it however you like and have fun.
Residential 38 Community 40 Empty 8
Please download the carriage from below.
@barnacleboots
Two-Horse Carriage conversion
The new carriage is here too.(I'll advertise it)
@danjaley
Schoolbus Default and Driveable Wagon
Car Default Replacements
❖World (It remains "Sunset Valley Empty" because it has not been renamed.)
❖Save files
❖CC (Please be sure to download the "patterns" in the folder via the launcher.)
❖Store Content (You probably already have many of these. Use only what you don't have.) ⚠ If the store items you own are not reflected, try this.
※Sorry. To ensure a reliable download, they are separated.
Required
Every hilltop amusement park needs a boardwalk rollercoaster.
All EPs except ITF
Requires Sunlit Tides, Monte Vista, Midnight Hollow, Aurora Skies,Dragon Valley, and Roaring Heights.
You need a rabbithole rug.(Bookstore, Theater, Spa, Diner,Business ,Chemistry)If you don't have the same one, replace it with what you have.
Thanks
Thank you for your kind words and advice, and for downloading and playing the town.@samkat10423
Long test play@ayaka-nonno
@nornities was kind enough to answer my beginner's questions.
And, even though you're busy, @yorithesims checked the final folder.
@blamseastore for converting and providing us with store content

And especially a huge thanks to Sookielee at Custom Sims 3 for making the Sunset Valley CAW files available.
Anyway, some simmers, including @enjoji101, were concerned and encouraged me. And they asked me to share this town. I originally created this world for myself, but if there is even one simmer who is interested in this town and wants to play, I would be very honored and grateful. And I would like to make that wish come true. Thank you very much. I love you all.
※If you have any questions, please send me a message. (I would appreciate it if you could speak simple English. )
Have a smashing time!

Q4MAT: Quake 4 Build 007 - Door Pack
Published: 8-15-2024 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY “Industrial-strength designs for 2morrow’s hi-tech facilities, manufactured with real, semi-synthetic materials…” Check out #co2quake for more futurist designs from Quake games, refreshed and expanded with details from CuriousB (2010) and others. As a companion collection to previous #co2quake sets, here are 400+ (!!!!!) colorful/grungy recolors for various doors and 40+ recolors for the 2-tile panels from my EZ Panel Kit (Simmons, 2024). The set also includes edited versions of the one-way “Valuewood Justa Door” (Doc Holladay, 2007; 2006) and deco-only versions of the 4t2 “Not So Inconspicuous” sliding door (EA/Maxis; converted by Jacky93sims, 2024). Pick and choose what you want below – Happy Simming! DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §12-330 | Build > Doors/Columns and Buy > Deco > Wall Hangings All packages with “MESH” in their filename are REQUIRED for textures to show properly. Depending on what door recolors you choose, you may need additional meshes (see below for more details). Some door textures are only 256x256 – ideal for performance but may look distorted if you zoom in really close. Other CC recolors can be found under these tags - #co2recolors, #ts2recolors, #ts2repo #co2repo #co2repopack. NEW ITEMS 2 Another Not So Inconspicuous Doors (“vault door”) (Deco) (530-768 poly) Doc Holloway’s One-Way Justa Door (~400 poly) DOWNLOAD (choose one) ** swatch previews are included in each download

2-Tile EZ Panel recolors from SFS | from MEGA You need the 2-tile “…-imgMESH” from the EZ Panel Kit (Simmons, 2024).
4t2 Not So Inconspicuous deco/recolors from SFS | from MEGA 4t2 Inviting Swing Out Door recolors from SFS | from MEGA You need the original meshes converted by Jacky93sims (2024). *the new deco doors are found under columns; minor flickering on the interior
4t2 Community Canvas/DIY Garage recolors from SFS | from MEGA You need the meshes by Moocha Muses HERE (2018) and HERE (2019) Extra add-Ons are available HERE (Simmons, 2024) **the “top” TXTR is actually the BACK of the Community Canvas Garage Door
COMPATIBILITY **NOTE: The Value Pocket Sliding Door (TheNinthWave, 2022) is repo’d to the “Valuewood Justadoor” door BUT with adjusted mapping (see below). This only messes up the “fancy” recolors – but don’t delete them because they will be gone from the other doors as well! All other textures show up fine on the custom pocket door.

CHAMPIGNAC : A REVAMP DOWNTOWN PLACE
To celebrate the coming shortest night of the year ( which is June 21 in the northern hemisphere and June 23 night in Champignac ), we re-made the Downtown place of Champignac, aka Place Olivier Magnolia ;)
With summer fast approaching, Place Olivier Magnolia has been transformed into a must-visit spot for your Sims. Imagine strolling under the ancient olive trees, breathing in the sweet fragrance of magnolias in bloom. The square has been revamped to offer more space and comfort for your Sims ;)
This 26x26 community lot was already nice, but we wanted to render it more ... useful and attractive :) So we suppressed the unnecessary stairs, we kept 2 chess tables, some benches, the horseshoe court, the fountain we down grounded, and as seen in the pictures, we added community picnic tables, 1 or 2 bbq grills, lights and an open-air cinema/tv which may be watched, any time, night and day :)
With Bastille Day just around the corner, Place Olivier Magnolia is the perfect place to celebrate July 14th in Champignac. Relive the warm atmosphere of traditional village dances, where your Sims can dance the night away under string lights to festive music ( but do not forget to bring your own music or add music stuff into the lot )
As I still work on an unpopulated version of Champignac, there are no many Sims in the pictures ... I should take some new pictures of my true populated worlds in the future :D
In order to get the lot as it is, you should get :
ATS3 Little Campers Backdrop screen only : here
ATS3 String Lights : here
TheJim07 Romanesque Columns : here
Cyclonesue Scaffolding Steel Columns : here
Maybe you already got those items because we use them into almost all our Sims 3 Worlds :) if not, here they are ;)
Place Olivier Magnolia : 26x26 and 2.2 Mb Download here
Have fun !

Alviera - Small Container Starter
Decided to build something while taking a break in cc making. Here's a starter home inspired by a real life small container home I saw while going on a trip. And I had a hard time naming this lot so I just named it from that place I went to.
This house is starter friendly, with a price of §16,220 (furnished) and §13,910 (unfurnished) though I used a couple of cc just so the furnishings would be as cheap as possible. Most items used are from the base game and some from Late Night and University Life, but I think the EPs aren't that essential as I used just one object per pack. Good for two sims with a single bedroom combined with the living room and an open kitchen-dining area at the entrance.
You can find the interior shots + links to some cc here. And these are the cc used on the exterior:
Bracket frame walls edited by me
Justa Column (Offset to fit corners of ceiling tiles) by Cyclonesue
Industrial chic window (top) by aa6x7
Closed greenhouse window by aa6x7
Simple siding (H3) by plasticbox
This lot is saved as .package, place in Library folder (Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Library) to install. I already included cc made by me in a separate folder, just put them in your Mods\Packages folder.
DOWNLOAD: Simfileshare
