Hello my sweeties, those who are reading my posts at the end. My friends have often asked me, how did I get such a beautiful CAS? And I was very surprised that many people haven't heard of the lalasimmer tutorial. I realize that many people don't want to deal with a blender, so I thought I'd give you a whole ten backgrounds for every taste. I also carefully reduced polygons in each of them, as well as slightly corrected the size of some textures (no one doubted it). So, this sim is actually one I made over four years ago in TS4 remade in TS3! She was my first CAS video on my channel and now she can be in your TS3 game!

I didn't post her when I made my video on her because I was going through some hard times, but since I'm better now here she is!

This was her in TS4... I think I captured her essence lol.

This lot is a nectary I build in a world called Kingsbury. I made it for third CjPlays shell challange. I wanted something more French x Italian, romanesque. This world is beautiful btw, very warm lighting, inspired by Ghibli production, here are some more screenshots I took in the past if you don't know how it looks.

The weird arch thing at side is accesible somehow. Sims don't block there. There's small fountain behind it.

That would be it. In CJ's video this lot starts around 19:55, but I recommend checking other submissions as well, because people are so creative in shell challenges.

I'm only disappointed that I didn't checked how my submission is looking in other worlds, cause in CJ video it looks way too pale and bland.

This one was in september btw. If you'd like to try in another edition, CJ usually gives about two weeks for submitting and make 1-2 shell challenges per year, usually starting in autumn. It's good to join his discord server, cause it's a lot easier to upload while being sure he won't overlook any work.

Notes

Cecilia top with prints - 2048 has higher quality textures in Live Mode but can look lower quality in CAS due to the game downsizing to 1024. If you don't have HQ mod or adjusted settings to load 2048 textures download 1024 instead.

so, i hit 1k sometime in the beginning of June ✨🥳. Which means my incessant yapping about absolutely nothing on every post I make and multiple months-long unannounced hiatuses didn't scare all of you off yet, so thanks for that y'all.

due to how the meshes where made the Poloma Passion Twists and Monae Beads don't have root/tip controls so they’re only 2 channels the rest are 4 like normal.

Sometimes when I start making lot, the initial draft, I have already the whole concept and name in head, and sometimes I built a few bare walls and give it working title - the first phrase which comes in my mind. With this house it was the second way, mostly. I wanted to create something with bricks, full of sun and colors, mainly red color, that's why it's Tomato Gallore. It was supposed to be galley or galere, but I didn't like how it sound, so a hybrid kind of word happened.

It's quite big house (for me at least), with one double bedroom, and three single ones. But you could probably squize one more if you really need it.

Living room. It's the first time when I used sofas from Fast Lane Stuff. It's very contrasting to entry hallway. There are some candy cotton kind of paintings near entrance to this room. These are unlocked stencils which are already in the game. There's mod which unlocks them, which I highly recommend. This house however doesn't require any mod or CC, because these paintings are already in the game, just hidden.

Behind living room there's small bedroom with bunk bed and it's own bathroom. And green guest bedroom near kitchen since I don't know where else to fit it. It could be good for butler, if your sims need one.

The dining room / kitchen combo is one of my favorite rooms in this house. Very climatic at night. I spent a lot of time with debug lights to make it properly lit.

At first floor there's small studing nook near entresol.

Main bedroom is kinda barren except wild bed covering. Now I think I should leave at least some plant in cornet or something. There's one unlocked painting here too. It could be more orangy, but I'm glad I finally found a room where it doesn't look competely bizzare.

Second bedroom bellow. It's for kid / teenager. I really like bottle green color. It was fun to paint ceiling that way too. Along with wall molding it looks like a small box for jewelry.

Bathrooms are kind of uninspiring. I usually don't like making those, because without a ton of CC it's hard to make something decent. These were however a good filler in this small tower.

and here's grill / barbeque on the roof. Or balcony I should say, because it has it's own roof. You enter it from main bedroom.
