here's an unfinished Wrench piece, i have no intention or desire on finishing it. was more so a little vent based off one of the dlc missions.

in my mind, wrench's biggest insecurity is his looks. hence the mask. ctos facial recognition is a good cover though.

A simple joke shouldn't have left him so… hurt, right? His hands gripped the steering wheel, pressing his foot on the gas and left Marcus in the dust. Sitara was just joking, she didn't mean anything. He tried his hardest to convince himself that.

But god was it not working.

It was the lowest blow possible on him. Honestly that was the main reason he thought of this mask idea to begin with. Wrench was ugly. He could never view himself in a positive light for the past twenty-something years. The stupid birthmark covering the side of his face, his huge fucking nose? Name any feature about him, and he'd immediately shoot it down and explain why it was dogshit.

At least he learned better coping mechanisms over the years. Well, “better” is a term to be used lightly. He hadn't slit his wrists or gotten his chair and rope ready in a couple years. But now he needed to break shit or cause mass panic in the streets. Less self-destructive, more a menace to society. It's something he became proud of, and became a decent part of his personality. Who else would be willing to commit mass crimes for the sole purpose of keeping their head afloat? The Wrench.

It took him quite some time to notice that he was white-knuckling the steering wheel. Jesus Christ he needed to do something before he lost his mind. “The mask is there for a reason.” Grumbling to himself, he took a sharp turn into the alleyway leading to his garage. His plans would have to wait a little bit… Just until he knew his head was clear.

And what better way to clear his head than smashing everything in sight? Wrench made sure he left the news van outside, and shut himself in his garage. The moment he entered he mindlessly went towards his sledgehammer. Getting used to the weight of it, he walked around with it and did a few test swings in the air. Oh yeah, this bad boy will do. He had a deadpan face underneath his mask, and the LEDs matched with their neutral X's.

It didn't take long for him to decide who his first victim would be: that toaster he could never get the microchip from. Fuck it, no point in letting it take up more space! Beat that shit into the ground, maybe pretend it was Sitara after she said that shit to him. In reality, Wrench would never hurt any of the Dedsec crew but… god was he fucking pissed and upset and felt all these emotions that amalgamated into the desire to choke or punch someone out. Pretending it was the person who made him feel this way would prove to be much more satisfying.

Wrench spiked the toaster into the center of the garage, giving himself that nice head start. “Fuck you, Cunty McCuntface! It’s been a while since I’ve written anything political or personal so here we Go:

Dana Loesch is a she-devil, hell-spawn, cunty mccuntface.

And to back that up, I have personal information and experience over about a decade of my life.

Now, for those who aren’t aware, Dana Loesch is the current spokeswoman for the NRA, a white nationalist terrorism organization that fills the pockets of politicians so full that they are publicly acknowledged as 2nd amendment advocates.

I am not a religious person, but in my formative years I didn’t have much of a choice. I went to the same church Dana Loesch and the family she married into ran; her father-in-law officiated my parents wedding. So, for all intensive purposes, I would wager that I have a closer look at the woman than many others have gotten. And I can tell you, on a scale of 1-10 batshit crazy, the woman registers at 10,000,000 and that is not an exaggeration. She brings toxicity and devisiveness wherever she goes.

I can honestly say if the church I attended continued on the path it was before Dana, I wouldn’t have as negative experience of Christianity as I hold now. Before Dana married the preacher of that church’s son, things were very peaceful. The church felt like a family, we had parties and events that weren’t overtly Christian often, we celebrated Halloween and other popular culture events that many people wouldn’t associate with Christian congregations. You knew which families were struggling because we threw events and fundraisers for them, or organized a meal-share program for them. You didn’t know which families were rich per say, you just knew some of us needed more help than others and that was perfectly ok, even celebrated that we could help each other out. I remember a huge party we had for a family whose child was battling cancer— the moms all got together and sewed like 300 teddy bears for all the kids at the children’s hospital and the kids in church drew little faces and happy quotes on them. The fathers and men grilled and served food, no one was excluded from one activity or another you could run around and help wherever you wanted to or just play and eat and have fun.

Now, fast forward to Dana marrying our preacher’s son.

At first she seemed ok, she was ambitious for sure and she seemed a little off about a few things, but no one really thought much of it. She was just a little different, or she may have just been getting used to all the new faces. Whatever.

Very soon, the overall feeling of community and family started fading away. Dana casually planted rumors about certain families and members of the congregation, she never even tried to be tactful about it and soon no one else who believed her did either. We stopped holding events for people in the congregation who needed help, we stopped having parties or gatherings outside of hyper critical, overtly Christian screaming fests where lessons that didn’t sound right to a lot of us were being thrown out. Deacons that didn’t like the way the church was going were thrown out or pressured to join another church. Eventually it became what I think a lot of people picture as Christian groups, people dressing up in expensive clothes just to show they had money, people competing at tithing as to who was going to give more, prayer groups turned into gossip circles and the youth groups were relegated to quiet classrooms in a new building that we didn’t need, and that hurt many of the people who worked hard to build it.

That building collapsed during construction, and the people working on it weren’t contractors or anything they were just church members. Dana essentially told them to deal with the medical bills and if they really loved the church they would recover and come back to work on it as soon as they could— one man broke his back in 6 places from rubble collapsing on him, he’ll never walk again. He was not invited to come back.

Now, all of this doesn’t mean much to a lot of people and I get that. Maybe she’s mean in her personal life but she makes good points and argues for accuracy on her show, right?

Well, as far as her work goes, she can choke on a microphone.

My father, whose story has been publicized, was raped by a Catholic priest, “Father” Christian, when he was 10 years old. First the church (Arch Diosis of St. Louis) denied it, and ignored him. Then, when it was clear he wasn’t going to stop being a problem for them, they gave him a payout to keep quiet.

He did not keep quiet. My dad wrote a blog detailing his battle with the church and gained a lot of support not just from fellow victims, but from the general public.

This was around the time Dana got her gig on radio with Jamie Alman.

Dana, came to my father, a rape survivor, an activist, a father of 2, a founding member of the church she attended, and dear friend of the family that she married into, and said in no uncertain terms:

“if you do not stop your crucading, if you do not shut down your blog, if you do not stop going to these protests, if you say anything negative about me, or my show, or the points I make on that show, If you do not stop speaking out against the Catholic Church; I, And my new team of lawyers, will sue you. You will have nothing left to give your children, you will likely go to prison, and you will never be able to speak out again.”

My father told her to go fuck herself. And we stopped going to that church.
