Dave's Diner has been drawn once more! Also the phrases are first draft just to put something there - Dave's Diner is Dave's Diner though, that's just the name of the Diner.

First Section, Left to Right: Penny the Poodle, Dave the Dog, and Harl the Husky Second: Midnight is the animatronic and Joe Davis is the guard Third: Crystal, the red fox waitress

This lil universe is vaguely inspired by FNaF but very much has its own lore n stuff.

There are three main categories: The main cast, the waitresses, and the Forest Wolves. The wolves are the only ones that are digitigrade due to them being able to go on all fours. In general, they have a similar structure to fursuits that were modified for machinery but have extra stuffing so they can be hugged comfortably. Especially the Wolves as them going on all fours is used for them to be able to be ridden by children through the maze (with employee help)

None of the animatronics are possessed except the old ones that aren't pictured here and that may get retconned if I work on this a bit more or so. Idk drawing them again just reminds me how fun they are - even if I may switch up how they look.

I love these guys and all the guys I made for em its why I can't cut down the amount of animatronics even though having 7 is a bit excessive and fuck it its my lil universe I can have as many lil guys as I want

this is my last post on this subject. probably. maybe. but look. as far as whether the ceremony was ""appropriate."" the brutal truth is that this is a risk you are taking if you choose to retire at an event like the davis cup. from an events-planning perspective, it is not anywhere close to the same league as roland garros or the atp finals or a big-money exho. i'm sure itf is doing their best lmao but it's just. not. and if you choose to retire at a competitive event, well. upsets are also a risk you take. a slicker outfit would have a more robust plan in place for that.

i'm using the second person but to be clear i'm not saying that i think rafa wanted a perfect movie moment. i think he wanted to retire in a meaningful competitive event on home soil and that was the most important consideration of all. (although i also would not be surprised to find out that there was some magical thinking at work. lmao.) i also don't believe for a second that he would have made himself available for a singles match if he didn't believe in his heart he could win. even when no one else did. (no one else except...) that's what makes competitors competitors.

rafa chose to play this event. ferru chose to put him in singles. the tournament organizers (feli) chose to put their logistical efforts in one basket. this was a group effort, guys.

sorry i did just listen to 30 minutes of the cope hosts reading all the sports tabloid criticism to david ferrer's face and i do feel a kind of way. it wasn't a winning lineup. yeah. no shit. (and again, the only thing i don't get is how anyone didn't see this coming a mile away but apparently they didn't.) but it's also not like ferru personally made rafa retire at this event and then disinvited the rest of the big 4 with his own two hands so maybe. maybe. we could chill.

Why I felt nothing when Derek died vs when Allison died. First of all, Derek's death was rushed, there was no time to comprehend what you're seeing. Allison's death was slow so you had time to react.

Also the visual effects with Derek are awful

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!?? WHY DOES IT LOOK SO BAD?!!??! WAS THE CGI TWO FUCKING DOLLARS!?

You can't just kill off a major character and expect the same reaction, Allison's death made the audience feel how the characters felt. Derek's death made everybody hate Jeff Davis and want to shank him.

But also Allison and Derek deserve so much better. Allison was basically forced back and Scott and Derek was never given a chance to be a character

Crystal is a quiet and an emotionally distant person on the outside, but a very caring person on the inside. She cares deeply for her family, and takes her job as a Guardian very seriously. She does, however, have a little bit of an anger management problem if you irritate her enough. Of that happens. RUN

Fun Facts:

- She is a bass singer/beatboxer

- She plays guitar and likes to write her own songs

- She is quite the chef

- Axen taught her how to skateboard

- Weapon is a claymore

- Autistic

Just mix Nimona and Leo from ROTTMNT, and you get Axen! A pretty hot-headed young woman who likes to talk with her fists instead of with her mouth. However, she can get serious, and that’s only when she is working or is family related. Don’t arm wrestle her.

Fun Facts:

- Tenor singer

- Plays the electric guitar

- Loves to roller blade

- Has a twin named Nexa

- ADHD

- Weapon is a battle axe

- Axen and Crystal often butt heads because of their different personalities and way of doing things

Ami is a ball of positive energy, and always has a way to make even the grumpiest person smile. She has a big heart, and always believes in second chances. It takes a lot for her to get her spirits down.

Fun Facts:

- Soprano singer

- Loves to ice skate

- She looks up to Crystal a lot

- Weapon is a fencing sword (Crystal taught her how to use it)

- She puts on sock puppet shows for the other Guardians

Tessa is a socially awkward penguin who would rather spend her time in her lab than out with others. Though that is something she is working on. She always thinks logically about a situation, and has a little bit of a temper, but that’s just because she doesn’t know how to express herself. Tessa does have a silly side to her, but it takes a little bit to get it out of her.
