I was informed that Bad Batch pop figures existed so naturally I had to immediately go buy my two favorite boys. I'll be buying the others next month but right now I just needed Echo and Cross.

And I've had a really rough past few days so for them to arrive today really made things so much better.

Decided to draw my Fallen London boys Jack and Henry in a modern, non-fantasy setting. Hitting them with my regular lad ray, if you will.

Not many changes, though. Jack's still a mildly successful novelist, specializing in thrillers and mysteries, and Henry's rich and delightfully unemployed. Still the same dynamic duo, no matter the setting.

holy mother of god I have got to start dressing weirder

#[clutching my face] I need to figure out HOW!! I have no FASHION SENSE #I think a big part of my problem is figuring out bottoms #sometimes I'll buy a cool thrift store top and discover it doesn't really go with jeans and then I'm like '... now what' agdkfjsks #I also wear like... cargo shorts and cargo joggers but those aren't Fashion Choices (especially the shorts)#I need... colored jeans. or harem pants (or whatever else they're called that's not That :I) or. idk SOMETHING #honestly I feel like... those dickies cargo joggers but in fun colors instead of Olive Drab could be fun?? I really love those pants lol #I DON'T KNOW I spend all day in pajamas cause they're comfy and then when I actually wanna look nice I have no idea what to wear #I love sundresses because they are the idiot's shortcut to looking cute (just put on ONE THING and that's a cute outfit babey!)#but my heart wants pirate shirts and funky vests #and maybe blousy tops with weird pants I dunno #if I knew how to make pants. ... 𝐀 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐏𝐎𝐔𝐑 concealed the terrain beyond the protective barrier of stalactites. sharps sounds of water being ejected from the sky with enough force to turn its yielding nature to stone-blistering lasers echoed through the cave. the raucous above was a muted compliment to the segment of the storm visible through the opening, but just hearing the watery drills penetrate so deeply into the rock that reverberations traveled through the floor was unsettling spike through the survivalist’s auditory sensors.

❝ i noticed. ❞ somehow sharp and blunt were both needed to describe the bounty hunter. he was a man where polar opposites in chaotic harmony. obscured by a placid shell that betrayed nothing to ally and adversary alike. but its steely protection didn’t extend far enough within to stifle boba’s mounting irritation. boxed in a death trap was par for the course; the addition of the rebel princess though, that was a variable he suffered little desire to endure.

for millions of standard cycles this cave withstood the horrors of the planet’s atmosphere. with luck, it would last through the night.

is it normal to feel genuinely saddened over the phasing out of older style planes (747, DC10, my beloved L1011) and replacing them with boring models (777 my beloathed) or should I get tested for autism

Honestly, it’s quite shocking how easy you can tell people apart based on their outfits. My takeaway from trips to tourist hotspots.

American tourists (young women) have such chaotic outfits. I don’t know how else to describe it. The message sent out by most looks (whether it’s ‘eccentric’ Accessoires or ‘insta ready’ polyester slip dresses) is ‘this is fashion! (Right?)’. A lot of unflattering middle parts. Germans dress like they’re about to model for Northface (I’m counting myself in this. kms for real). Even if they’re not actively wearing the brand, you can feel it lurking under the surface. Jeans and practical little cross body bags, frumpy sweaters — even in stylish variations, there is an implied fleece jacket. Italians dress like they’re aware of their body in a good way.

#I saw a girl in a frumpy UNFLATTERING black pleated skirt and a slicked bun eating ice cream with a guy who wore like #short black cargo shorts and a bike chain etc #and I thought to myself ‘what an unlikely friend for a nun to have. huh. and she’s so young’#but then it turned out that she was just American.#and I saw two separate girls with huge wrinkled bows #please iron your polyester monstrosities girls!!!! this just looks cheap!!!!#monstrosity referring to the size. it was very Daisy Duck #and Germans… again kms.#even young chic girls had that air of like. cross body bags.#also saw a lot of American guys with moustaches
