exactly this. "oh you feel you lost something really important to your identity? if you just wait long enough you can live like you always wanted" is so shallow and i feel like they only wrote it for the literal circumstances of the character, which makes sense of course but it sucks that they had to throw away the trauma/depression allegory to do it. like sure if i was actually a veteran pulled 70 years into the future i would probably want to go back but as a regular ass person who doesn't have time travel i feel like the obvious answer would be to find a way to move forward and make peace with the fact that you've changed. i know they needed to write evans out but surely he could have retired and still passed on the mantle right? it maybe wouldn't have been as much of an exiting scene in a theater but it would have been a more hopeful ending and that's more important personally

thinking about how important steve's storyline was for people who feel out of place/like they don't belong/like the world's moving too fast for them to follow (which are my own common reactions to trauma/depression) and how endgame just straight-up tells that the greatest way to escape is to go back to times that still feel familiar, which is something a regular person will never be able to afford and which just takes the hope away. they could've done so much with it and showed a great resolution to a long journey of building new life and new meanings, but they completely missed the point of the story. it was so awful to people who saw themselves in this character and that's something we rarely mention when we criticize steve's ending. in this essay, i will

Folklore Legacy Challenge

Hey Ya'll! I've been working on this one for a little while and I can't wait to share it with you! It's a 16 + 1 generation legacy challenge for the Sims 4 based off of Taylor Swifts album Folklore! There aren't many solid rules for this one, I mostly just want ya'll to have fun and play it in a way that makes sense to you. That being said: - Mods and cheats are ok to use (I even encourage it). - Each Gen must have at least one child to play as the next heir. - I have used lots of packs in making this, you will need: City Living, Cats and Dogs, High School Years, Get Together, Crystal Creations, For Rent, Outdoor Retreat, Island Living, Dream Home Decorator, Parenthood, Discover University, Dine Out, Stranger Ville, Get Famous, Spa Day, Growing Together + more that I've probably forgotten. - If you do not have the required packs, feel free to change what you need to as long as it is somewhat similar to the original.

Gen 1: The One

I don’t want to reblog or repost it to mock it because i know OP’s heart was in the right place but i just saw a post about how to overcome executive dysfunction, basically the point being how to practice discipline and gain mental fortitude and that it’s possible for anyone. nice! but it contained a list of suggested activities that included video games three times, suggested listening to “long form audio content such as podcasts and audiobooks”, and suspiciously entirely omitted things like…reading a book, setting small goals for chores and housekeeping, and anything else that’s actually tangibly beneficial to the stated goal. the post suggested playing picrews and dress up games

i don’t know if im just being callous and out of touch and there’s some demographic of poor souls out there who are both 1. literate, self-critical, and engaging with long form tumblr posts 2. too helpless to the vortex of their own mind to play picrews or video games or listen to audiobooks without being prompted. As someone who has been utterly helpless to the vortex of my own mind, I had “EXECUTIVE DYSFUNCTION” so badly in my youth that I spent entire days not even getting out of bed to drink water, I have to constantly beat the executive dysfunction away with a broom like it’s a bat flying around my house. Aphrodite–

I mean she’s obviously hot– she’s THE goddess of beauty, but Hades 2 is an absolute improvement. This isn’t just Aphrodite, this is Aphrodite Areia. Kick ass, honey I love you so much. You don’t need clothes to fight a war. She’s so salty I want her to step on me.

Her boons are pretty good. Decent damage and her duo boons are nice. Heartthrobs are BROKEN and I do builds with them as often as I can. Meshes well with other gods. Love Handles is my favorite duo boon in the game.

Apollo–

He’s a pretty boy, but his prep vibes bring him down a bit. He’s funny though and I love all his interactions with other gods.

Good boons. I don’t usually take his core stuff unless I have the Sister Blades, but having a larger area of damage is nice. I like his sprint boon. Sunny Disposition is great if you’re doing a Heartthrob build. Generally he’s good but there are better core boons.

Artemis–

Goddess of lesbians. Not wlw but I believe in their beliefs you know. The bear pelt and all the antlers are SERVING. She’s like if one of those hunter dudes on tinder was actually hot. I love her but also I’m a man so I feel like she should be with someone else.

She’s not a core god so her boons are a little hard to judge. Critical damage is always nice, and running into her is always better for a run. All her offerings are good, although Pressure Points is better with the Sister Blades or the Witch’s Staff. I’m just gonna rank her compared to the other ‘lesser’ offerings in the game, not compared to the regular boons because she only appears once per run.

Demeter–

Gilf. Don’t @ me you know it’s true. I’m a little disappointed that they made her look younger for Hades 2 but I guess it makes sense lore wise. Old lady in armor is peak art. I love her, I adore her, and her design is magnificent. Mwah.

Her boons are good. Freeze is a great effect especially for getting used to the game. Not as effective with the Umbral Flames or Sister blades, but they’re great with the Moonstone Axe and Witch’s Staff. Rare Crop is only good early and Plentiful Forage is objectively kinda bad but I take it every time.

Hephaestus–

Spoilers: He’s the hottest male Olympian. I LOVE him. Please hold me in your arms my stupid little bisexual heart needs to be cuddled by a sweaty blacksmith. HOW could Aphrodite cheat on this man? He's perfect. Also legit the funniest god.

His boons are a little hit or miss. When they’re common they aren’t great but they stack pretty well. His magic gain boon is probably the worst out of all of them, but Mint Condition and Uncanny Fortitude are hands down my favorite boons, and like I said: Love Handles is my absolute favorite duo boon.

Hera–

My QUEEN. I love her. Please leave your husband. I would treat you so much better. She’s elegant, she’s powerful, she’s HERA. Josette Eales voices her and does an IMMACULATE job. I want Hera to call me a good boy please please please.

Her boons are alright. Hitch is a good effect if you can apply it in a large area but it’s not great against Guardians. In the most recent patch they changed her cast and I think it’s a little worse. She has alright duo boons, and Queen’s Ransom is funny and also can be pretty op if you have Hera as some of your main boons.

Hermes–

ADHD TWINK. He’s my homeboy and I vibe with him hard. Longer hair suits him and I wanna take him on a date to an aquarium. So pretty. I hope he can see his husband Charon again soon.

Speed boons are always cool. Dodge chance is invaluable if you have shit reaction times like I do. Nimble Mind is his only boon I don’t like because it just doesn’t feel very effective. Nimble Limbs is awesome for the Moonstone Axe, and Quick Buck is one of my most chosen boons. Ultimately good but his boons can feel a little ineffective when they’re common.

Hestia–

Not a gilf but I do love her. She’s sassy and ruthless and I love her design so much. I want to sit in the thicc auntie’s lap please. Super hot punk old lady.

Scorch is a great effect. Her attack and special boons are awesone and her cast is good. Getting Flame Strike, Ice Flourish from Demeter, and then their Freezer Burn duo boon is how I beat Chronos the first time. The rest of her duos are fine but not amazing.

Poseidon–

He’s definitely hotter than in the first game, just not my type. He’s very funny in an annoying kind of way (Side note: I REALLY want him and Odysseus to learn about each other. Their beef would be SO funny)

His core boons feel less powerful than in the first game. Double Up and Hydraulic Might are the only boons of his I take consistently. Damage isn’t terrible but not the best. His duo boons are generally pretty good though. Island Getaway is nice when you can get it.

Selene–

Ethereal moon mommy. I love her. Would probably be terrifying to approach in any capacity but she’s just SO pretty.

It’s a little weird to rank her since hexes are the replacement for Olympian aid in the first game, but generally they’re all pretty good. Wolf Howl is my favorite. I never take Twilight Curse or Dark Side, but that might just be because I don’t understand them.

No.

His boons also seem a little weaker than the first game, but chain lightning is a fun effect when you get it pumped up a bit. Blitz is a kinda weak effect but if you can get Toasting Fork on them they’re good. His legendary boon and duo boons are both a little meh.

I mean this kindly anon, I think you might have a bit of a misguided understanding of both the original post and Anakin's character.

The original ask sent wasn't asking wehether or not Anakin would take a submissive role, because he would it's pretty well agreed upon that he switches, it was actually expressing a desire for a specific kind of dominance over him that OP felt they wouln't be able to achieve becaue of their height. As stated in the original answer, there are many many different types of dominant styles, OP specifically wanted physical dominance, as stated "i just wanna pounce and wrestle him into submission before fucking his brains out." So the point of the post wasn't if you want to dominate Anakin you have to do it physically because otherwise he won't let you, the point was if you want to dominate him physically when you're short it becomes a mental game because you will lose the physical game. You said "I fully believe that anakin would let his lover dom him no matter how short," and I agree because that's exactly what happened in the original post. Do you think for a second Anakin couldn't get out of that position if he wanted to? He's a 6 foot something martial artist, everything that happened in that scenario is something he let happen willingly, the ask to dominate was just said gradually through body language rather than verbally. There was so "Anakin can I dom you tonight?" because that's lazy writing, instead the question was asked when she led him away from his work, and then it was asked again when she got on top of him, and then it was asked again when she teased him to the point of wanton-ness, and then it was asked again when she pinned his arms down. Anakin let himself be dominated and of course he did, it's in his nature, just because it's a playful dom/sub exhange with a very gradual lending of power rather than something swift and explicit as a verbal agreement does't mean he was tricked. Sexually I think Anakin is receptive to most things on all points of the Dom Sub spectrum because he is such a person of intensity, he could take masochism, he could take could take soft dominance, casual dominance, strict dominance, tbh I just think he wouldn't do good with neglect or human furniture stuff because that's a little too vulnrable.

Anakin is an interesting character because there are a lot of things he tells himself and if the audience doesn't think critically about them, they will just believe blindly. Anakin is not a man who would do anything for love, although it might seem that way with all he's risked in the name of his marriage, it's actually more complex than that. the thing he would actually do anything for is power and he uses love as his scapegoat. He killed children in the name of saving his marriage but he wouldn't leave the jedi in the name of saving his marriage, why? Because power was more important to him than love, he liked being a soldier, he loved being a general he liked being a jedi because he liked the ower it gave him, he's a sith after all. Killing padme was a decision he regretted for the rest of his life but it's still a decision he made. The dark side doesn't control your mind, it makes you give up on your moral code so you release you inhibitions and humanity. Anakin choked his pregnant wife, what does that tell you about about the way he kissed the ground she walked on. He wanted to believe he was a man who would do anything for love, that is the narrative he sold himself over and over and over and over, but he chose palpatine over his marriage.

"If you were unsatisfied or angry with him he would quite literally die inside a bit and probably beg for another chance 'ok fine please I’ll let you pls please please don’t- don’t leave me,"

Maybe when he was a bit younger, but I believe Anakin would sooner threaten you than beg you to stay. Actually he would say he doesn't understand why you feel this way, and then he would tell you all the reasons you're wrong for feeling this way, and then he would lash out at you. Anakin doesn't really ever apologize and mean it because he never really believes he's wrong. He's been set apart his entire life, told he's special, been naturally very gifted and this bred extreme entitlement in him, that's why he's always going against protocol, he thinks his way is better than the establshed infrastructure. He definitely is insecure I'll give you that, but his response to insecurity is posession and rage, not apology and attonement and certainly not begging. In the ROTS novelization, there ae times where Anakin makes Padme feel like a bug in her own home because of the way he expresses his beliefs. He doesn't really have any submissive tendencies in his every day life despite his ability to switch in the bedroom, until it comes to palpatine who validates him and waves power in his face like a carrot on a stick. I don't necessarily think he's approval seeking either because he thinks he's above the sytem, his pettiness about wanting the rank of master wasn't because he wanted the council's approval it's because he wanted power and influence, the council already approved of him, he was on the council.

Anyway, a lot has changed about the way I write Anakin since writing that post, but I still think it holds water as a fun domestic physical domination scenario with Anakin.

Insightful Aid Tier List V2 (Low Rarity)

Decided to revise my Tier List for Reverse 1999's Roguelike Mode (A Series of Dusks) specifically when you're playing the Insightful Aid Catalyst. I have decided to do two lists, one for low rarity characters, the other for high rarity characters.

Explanations (AKA a very long wall of text) below:

Busted:

La Source: I don't want to re-explain myself too much but tl;dr she has the best Ult for blocking enemy Ults. It's better than Control since most of the Roguelike bosses have full or partial Control Immunity, while only one boss (the alternate final boss) is actually immune to Moxie reduction (even then, only during its second phase). It's really busted on this Catalyst since Insightful Aid lets you spawn any of your party member's Ults for only 10 Stamina.

Strong Ult

Bunny Bunny: Her Incantations are mediocre but her Ult is still pretty unique for its Mass Heal + Purify effect (almost all the other 5* and 6* healers provide one effect or the other but not both). It's even more handy if you're a new account and don't have those top tier healers yet.

Good Ult, Strong Incantation

Twins Sleep: They have two really good Incantations that steal the thunder from other low rarity characters. They have the option of a Mental DEF Debuff (like Poltergeist) or a Critical DEF Debuff (like Erick). The Critical DEF debuff is honestly more valuable, it's as strong as Isolde's Crit debuff while also inflicting Weakness on all enemies. Twins Sleep also have a decent enough Ult. Not unique (Diggers and Baby Blue with debuffs can also inflict Nightmare) but it does give her an advantage over her low rarity contemporaries (who cannot use their Ults to block enemy turns)

ONiON / Leilani: I mentioned this in the earlier tier list, but these two (and Rabies) have the strongest Rank 3 Attack Incantations of any low rarity. At P5, they hit for 450% base damage + 160% if the target is debuffed in any way (making sure the enemy is debuffed first isn't super hard on this mode). That formula adds up to a 610% damage attack. Some low rarity characters can do 600% damage... with their Ults (Pavia, Twins Sleep, Erick, Mondlicht). Not only does the Insightful Aid Catalyst lets you cheat out these Rank 3 Incantations for only a bit of Stamina, but it also powers them up. Shamane or Six + Aid ONiON / Leilani is a legitimate strategy that will win you runs, just make sure you don't run out of Stamina (this isn't hard to do btw, with Insightful Aid you get refunded Stamina back if you kill enemies with Aid Incantations. Yes, this Catalyst rewards you for spamming these OP Rank 3 Incantations).

ONiON and Leilani are basically interchangeable here, the only difference is their Ults. ONiON can grant 2 stacks of Sturdiness while Leilani can grant 2 Moxie to allies. Leilani seems stronger overall but if you luck into certain Moxie increasing artefacts, like the Morale Pipe, then ONiON's Ult will have more utility.

Eagle: Another character with a pretty strong Rank 3 Attack. At Rank 3, her 1-target attack hits for 450% + 100% damage if debuffed. It's "only" 550% damage but it has a built in leech effect, meaning it's a 550% damage attack that can bring the caster back to full HP. Her Ult is pretty unique, it comes with a built in "excess Critical rate converted to Critical damage" and some characters can take advantage of this (Lilya, Blonney). This does require you to pick up certain artefacts that give Lucky though.

Decent Ult Or Incantation

AliEn T: I had them higher on my previous list but bumped them down. On paper they're quite nice. Two good Incantations (an Attack as strong as Eagle's, though without the leech effect, and a Counter with -60% Damage reduction and built in Taunt that Kakania and NewBabel will love). Their Ult can also block all non-Ult actions from enemies for a turn. The problem is that, besides their Counter (which is ultimately pretty niche), you may have better options. ONiON and Leilani are still the best Rank 3 Aid Attackers and Baby Blue has a similar Ult but she can also block enemy Ults. If you don't have Baby Blue, though, you may get some use out of AliEn T.

Darley: Between them and Apple (AKA the two low rarity characters that can heal after using their attack) I think Darley is the clear winner due to their Ult, which gives extra Moxie to all party members. Darley, however ranks much lower than Leilani who has a similar Ult, since they don't have an OP Rank 3 Attack to spam like she does.

Zima: La Source is better for blocking Ults in most situations but if your La Source isn't P5 yet, and you don't have other high rarity Ult blockers, Zima can be an okay alternate option. This is only if you have a really new account though.

Pavia: He's in a similar situation to ONiON and Leilani but for Mass Attacks instead of 1-target attacks. His high HP Rank 3 attacks hits for 300% + 155% damage. This outperforms a bunch of higher rarity characters (at P0, though even P5 Bkornblume's Mass Attack loses to P5 Pavia). The reason Pavia isn't as high as the others is because 455% isn't as huge as 610% damage. His Ult is also extremely mediocre. I would rather cop the slightly lower damage on Bkornblume's Mass Attack for Bkornblume's significantly better Ult vs. Pavia's bland Ult that only does damage.

Cristallo: The only reason she's here is for her Debuff. It's very easy for her to land her -40% Reality DEF with this Catalyst. Her other Incantation also exists. It's not the best buff but it is 1 stack of Sturdiness to all characters and not everyone has Medicine Pocket or Voyager on their accounts.

Niche

Poltergeist: Like I said before, Twins Sleep basically steals the one good thing about this character (the Mental DEF debuff). Her other Attack isn't worth mentioning. Her Ult is super niche. It does let her Taunt and avoid enemy attacks, but the dodge only works vs Reality (so you need to know the enemy damage type in advance). The only use I can think for her is if you need the Mental Debuff, but also need TS' Crit Debuff. Even then, you might have Baby Blue as an alternate Mental DEF Debuff option.

TTT: Basically the low rarity, low budget version of X. She can also Dispel and can also control when enemies use their Ults. The big difference is that TTT has to inflict Disconcert early, no blocking enemy Ults on the turn they're about to be used like with X. Very mediocre CC overall but if you don't have X or Baby Blue, she may be better than nothing.

Erick: Like I said before, Twins Sleep basically steals the one good thing about this character (the Crit DEF debuff). There is one silver lining to Erick, her Ult isn't too shabby on the Razor fight. It can remove Razor's buffs AND Disarm him, preventing him from using an Attack for a turn. It's not the best option but it is an option if you don't have specific characters (like Charlie).

Oliver Fog: Pretty similar to Cristallo except he doesn't have a useful debuff. He has a slightly better Ult than Cristallo, but you shouldn't be bringing Cristallo for her (awful) Ult anyway.

John Titor: She's similar to AliEn T. Nice skills on paper, but usually outdone by stronger options (Yenisei for the Shield + Purify Ult, ONiON and Leilani for the Rank 3 Attack). Not bad if you don't have Yenisei, though I do think Semmelweis + Aid John Titor is a fun combo if you run the self-Buff / Heal.

Ms. Moissan: Can be used if you don't have any Shielders at all (like Tennant, Ms. NewBabel or Ezra). She also has a CC Ult that's basically the reverse of Satsuki and Druvis' Petrify effect. Is fine at the start of the run, but I think you would be better looking for some auto-shield artefacts. The best recommendation, especially for Insightful Aid, is Rabbit Marionette. It gives a free shield after every turn if you use an Aid Incantation, it also increases the Max Stamina limit.

Mondlicht: Unlike the others in this tier, she really doesn't have much going for her, but I didn't think she was as niche as the characters below her. She's basically a worse Pavia in terms of Incantations. I guess her Ult gives her a mini-Eternity Ult effect? That's about it.

Apple: Another "not niche OR really niche" character. I guess you can spam his attacks for free Healing and this may be an okay strategy if you're running Kakania on your party. Would not really recommend in most other situations though, Darley has the same gimmick but with a better Ult.

Really Niche (aka they have obscure combos, but would not recommend in most situations)

Sputnik: Has an interesting combo with NewBabel since you can combine NewBabel's Ult with Sputnik's Counter to infinitely drain enemy Moxie while also maxing out NewBabel's Moxie. The problem is that this isn't really a win condition for your party, it's just a way to stall out the fight. Also has a combo with Kakania + the artefact that turns Slot 1 into a Taunt tank.

Nick Bottom: Has shenanigans with Kakania and Semmelweis due to the HP drain but is really obscure otherwise.

Ms. Radio and Door: The self-killing Ults are obviously a bad idea. There are ways to avoid the kill condition, with either artefacts or Necrologist, but similar to Sputnik, this doesn't get you closer to winning fights, you're better off actually using your Ults to target enemies than for pure support.

Bette: She's not as niche as you'd think, since Insightful Aid makes it easy to cheat out Rank 3 Aid Incantations but doesn't really let you upgrade the Incantations of your front characters. Her Ult can help with this, though the reason Bette isn't higher is because the final area and boss completely screws with her Ult's effect (your Incantations get shuffled around every turn, and Bette needs two turns for her Empower to work. RIP Bette).

The Fool: The most redundant character in this mode. Several artefacts have the ability to inflict Corrode without you using the Fool at all (e.g. Piglet Chain, Everheart). You might think "well I can use the Fool to stack Corrode" except I tested it and only 1 instance of Corrode can exist per enemy. Yes, there is no reason to ever actually bring the Fool if you have any of the Corrode inflicting artefacts.

Mesmer Jr: She technically has Dispel + CC on her Ults but you need to be spamming Mesmer's Ult every turn for the CC to work on every enemy. You can technically run Marcus + Aid Mesmer but there are also much easier ways to Mass CC, including running An-an Lee, Satsuki or Druvis as Aid and spamming their Rank 3 Debuffs, or just using Baby Blue's Ult.

Kit Not Working Properly

Rabies: So Rabies' deal is that he inflicts Poison right? The problem is that the Poison comes from his Insight effect. And Aid characters don't get to use their Insight effect. Which means that Rabies, the Poison Guy, doesn't inflict any Poison at all if he's an Aid character. Oops. Rabies isn't completely unusable, he actually has the same 610% damage formula as Leilani and ONiON. But he has a much worse Ult (with worse damage because the Ult is balanced around the Poison that no longer works). You can just NOT use Rabies' Ult of course, but I'm putting him here so people know that you can't bring him for Poison shenanigans. Unless you're running Rabies + Aid Lilya or Lucy. But this is an "Insightful Aid" Tier List, not an "Obscure Low Rarity + High Rarity Combo" List (I'm not gonna do that btw, too many potential combos to talk about).

Note: There are actually a whole bunch of low rarities that are affected by the "No Insight" thing, Rabies is just the most notable since a lot of low rarity characters' Incantations aren't affected by the lack of Insights. This is much more of a problem with the higher rarity characters though...

Whew, that's finally done. Not sure when the high rarity version of this list will be done. That one is a lot harder to judge, mostly because I don't have ALL the high rarities to play around with, meaning I can't play some of the more obscure combos.

Cannot stress enough how many weird interactions you get when running High Rarity + High Rarity Aid. Did you know that you can use Getian's Rank 3 Channel to instantly use Thirty Seven's FUA? There's lots of weird stuff that I can't test since I can only borrow 1 character from another player at a time.

Well, I have no idea how unpopular these are, but here are mine.

To state it up front, none of these things I’m going to mention are bad or flaws; they’re just things that bother me personally. If you’re not mature enough to understand that, please move along.

Okay, so let’s just randomly jump into it.

*I think Chapter 2 is the worst chapter so far.

I think it's one of the dullest, and, if I understand it correctly, Leona’s plan doesn’t make sense.

The plan was to stampede Malleus to injure him, right?

1: Would that actually work against someone who can a) fly, b) teleport, or c) has super strength and therefore could just knock down anyone that rammed him? And more.

Also, if on the SLIM chance he was injured, the whole game would be canceled due to an international incident as the Prince of Briar Valley was flattened like a Looney Tune character.

And let's assume the plan was to take out the other Dia-players. Malleus is so OP that he can just grab random members from his dorm and win the game himself, so that plan fails.

And didn’t Leona want to win again, Malleus? That’s why he refused to let Crowley remove him from the game! Why try to remove him himself?

If Leona’s thing was that he wanted to win against Malleus, have it that he was going to cheat, but Heartslabyul stopped him with Jack’s help. Or have it that Leona was subtly poisoning Malleus or that he was using potions to amp up his team. Something along those lines! And speaking of Riddle vs. Leona:

*I don’t think it should have been Heartslabyul against Savanaclaw. I see what they were trying to do; it’s law against the lawless with the “law” hunting down the "criminals,” but it wasn’t done very well, and we never see the ideals go toe-to-toe. Having Scarbia in the Pomeire chapter was also a waste, as Jamil and Kalim don’t really do anything. You could replace them with other characters, and the story would mostly be the same. I’d rather see Riddle vs. Azul and Savanaclaw vs. Vil. (I have another post where I’ll talk more about it.)

*Octaville should have suffered just a bit more at the end of their arc. I like these boys; they’re in my top ten, in fact, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think they got off too easily. Keep in mind that they manipulated and enslaved students and physically abused their dorm mates.

Yet despite everything, they barely got a slap on the wrist, only losing the contracts and Ramshackle before they were completely forgiven for everything. Even something like community work around the school would have sufficed. But I guess you can say that’s in line with the tone of the story, and I can live with it as everyone was able to walk it off in the end. And at least Azul did lose something he valued as a sort of compensation for everything, unlike Fellow and Gidel.

Yeah, while we’re on the subject, Fellow and Gidel deserved a hell of a lot worse. Again, I like them as characters and enjoy them as being an actual threat to the main characters. But they were kidnappers and HUMAN TRAFFICKERS. Believe it or not, with characters, I let a lot slide, but letting human traffickers get off without any karmic punishment will always bother me. Ace and the others should have kicked their asses. “Even Gidel? But he’s just a mute child!” True, but he’s still a human trafficker and therefore should have received punishment. I sympathize with their circumstances, but human trafficking is still human trafficking. And before anyone says, “Well, that’s keeping in tone with the story,” no, it’s not.

For this event, the stakes and tone were raised. How? Simple; there were lasting effects from their actions.

With every other antagonist—even Rollo and Azul—once they were defeated, everything was “okay.” People were sore but could go on with their lives, no problem. Not in this case. In this instance, all the people who were tricked and kidnapped are still dolls trapped in their minds. Just because we didn’t see them doesn’t mean their lives mattered less than those of the main characters.

“But it’s not in characters for the protagonist—who are twisted from villains—to care about stuff like that.” And sadly, you’re right. (Though I think Jade and Floyd would have tried to get revenge, as they’re that vindictive.) Doesn’t mean that it doesn’t rub me the wrong way. Plus, all that buildup, and we get nothing for the climax—what the hell twst?!

Story-wise, I hate Playful Land events ending for not delevering on the buildup. And I hate it personally for letting the human traffickers not face any consequences. At least, as a middle ground, I wish the story could have treated the two getting away scott-free as an unfortunate downside instead of an upbeat thing at the end.

*I don’t like Kalim x Jamil, nor am I too crazy about Yuu x Malleus.

While I want them to be friends, I really dislike the two as a couple for several reasons that I won’t bother to list here. Let’s just sum it up and say that it’s not my cup of tea.

As for Malleus and Yuu, while they have sweet moments, I don’t feel anything for them as a pair. And outside of Canon, it’s basically an Oc/X Canon, so my feelings vary depending on the different Yuus.

That being said, I understand why both of these are popular ships, as they possess a lot of tropes that fans just eat up. (And Yuu is a self-insert for people to have their own fun with Malleus.) However, those same tropes don’t appeal to me, hence why it’s on the list.

*While I think Malleus is cute, I get a bit tired seeing him everywhere. (It’s like the Frozen effect.) I also think he’s a bit overrated.

*While we’re talking about Malleus, I hate that he’s overpowered. I know that’s the point of his character, but I still dislike this trope with passion.

And I really hate that TWST seems to be presenting that the only option to defeat Malleus and save everyone in Chapter 7 is to basically beg him to snap out of it.

I believe that having a violent option available—like having the #1 mage in the world threaten to kill Malleus—would be stronger for the story.

For starters, it gives a personal stake for Silver and Sebek as they’re at risk of losing someone they love, and it makes the fact that they’ll choose the peaceful option all the more meaningful, especially in what we learn in Chapter 7, where their ancestors chose violence over peace.

Oh, and speaking of which:

*I wish they introduced more of the gray morals in Lilia’s dream instead of just ripping off Pocahontas’ plot and making the fae the woobie race. The reason is that in vignettes, Lilia’s usually talking about how it was misunderstandings on both sides that caused war, which is why he worked so hard to instill understanding in Malleus and Silver and tries to do the same with Sebek. By playing the humans are bastards trope, it underplays what he was saying. (And yes, I get they were taking influence from the live-action Maleficent movie, but still.) It would have added so much more value to everything if the fae were just as bad as the humans or if there was a genuine misunderstanding on both sides. And, again, it would make the ending, where they stop Malleus through peaceful methods, all the stronger.

And now on to the little stuff:

*I think the rating should be higher. I feel that if the story was rated teen at least instead of 10+, we might have gotten a bit more meat in the story, which is what most people want when they hear that a story is about characters inspired by villains.

*The shaft/shift land outfits are ugly outside of Vil’s. The hairstyles are pretty, but the rest

*I’m a bit disappointed with Silver’s Masqurade outfit. I like the mask, hair, and cape, but the rest does nothing for me.

*I like the idea that Lilia had an unrequited puppy love for Malenore that he grew out of and became the more powerful familial love over the idea of him being a poly with her and Leven.

*I hate the idea of Crowley being Leven. Crowley’s great being Crowley; he doesn’t need to be Malleus’ daddy.

*I like that Silver and the KotD are almost exact lookalikes. The only thing I’d like to change is the color palette.

Author's note: I'm so happy you liked the fic! I hope you enjoy this too! I'll try to keep the gamer lingo to a minimum to not alienate people who aren't familiar with it! I had to play so much Black Ops 3 Multiplayer for this fic, I'm still terrible at it lmao.

You and Eddie were hardcore gamers; any time off you two would get, it would be spent playing games together. But both of you loved it. You’d play all kinds of games together although your favourite kind was first person shooters, mostly including zombies, while Eddie’s were fantasy role-playing games. While you were playing Dead Island or Call of Duty Zombies, he would be playing Skyrim or Elden Ring.

Both of you joked about who was the better gamer between you two; with Eddie saying it was him due to him gaming for longer than you, but you saying it was you due to having more platinum trophies than him.

After months of squabbling, both of you decided it was time to do a competition between the two of you to decide who was the superior gamer. It was decided you would play Black Ops 3, because as Eddie put it, he “wanted to even the playing field” as both of you played Call of Duty quite often, although you played it more than he did recently.

The rules were simple; you weren’t allowed to look at each other’s screens, you weren’t allowed to use mods, or any other cheating software and you weren’t allowed to use any kind of sexual favours or flirting in order to distract the other.

Seemed easy enough.

The prize? Ultimate bragging rights to be the superior gamer in the relationship and having the loser has to be the winner’s slave for the rest of the day.

Both of you fired up your PlayStations, cracking your knuckles and stretching to get comfortable in your chair. You couldn’t see him, but you could tell Eddie had that infamous shit eating smirk on his face, armed with far too much overconfidence.

You didn’t want to beat him at one of his most beloved and most played games, but you knew you had the better skill set than he did. He hadn’t played Call of Duty in a long while since Elden Ring had been released, while you had played it almost religiously.

Loading into a multiplayer game, both of you instantly began looking for each other. You managed to catch him off guard and get the first kill of the match, his frustrated cry from behind you causing you to laugh.

“Already regretting this challenge, my love?” You asked through laughs.

Eddie shook his head, killing a member of your team before taking out both a  second and a third without even hesitating or breaking a sweat once he’d respawned. “Absolutely not, lovebug. Give me some time to warm up, I’ll annihilate you soon enough.”

Before you even had a chance to react, Eddie had headshotted you. “YOU BASTARD!” You yelled, banging the desk as both of you laughed. Okay, so maybe this wouldn’t be as easy as you thought it would. Even after Eddie had almost neglected Call of Duty, he still was an expert at playing it.

Beating him wasn’t going to be easy, but it had to be done.

At the end of the game, your team won. But only by the skin of your teeth; Eddie was grumbling and saying his teammates let him down which might’ve been the case, although both of your teams were filled with people who were a lower level than both of you. You chalked your win up to luck, more than anything else.

Deciding that perhaps team matches weren’t entirely fair, the pair of you got into a free-for-all match; with whoever got the most kills out of three matches would be declared the winner. You took a sip of your drink as the countdown started.

“Nervous, sweetheart?” Eddie smirked from behind you.

“You wish, Munson.”

As soon as the game loaded, it was game time. You had your tongue slightly out of your mouth in concentration as you killed as many people as you could, trying to find Eddie but before you could find him, he found you and knifed you. The match ended soon after with Eddie getting 20 kills, with you following behind with 18.

One point to Eddie, nothing for you.

On the second match, you won with flying colours.

The final match was truly do or die; both of you had one point each and it was all to play for. You chose your two best guns: 48 Dredge and RK5. As long as Eddie didn’t equip the same guns, you would be fine and have at least a small chance of winning the competition.

Once you loaded into the match, you knew you were screwed. There was absolutely no way in hell you could pull this off; you mentally began preparing yourself for his victory dance he always does in his room.

But you wanted to at least make victory difficult for him. Well, try to at least.

You had one more plan up your sleeve and it was heavily frowned upon to do so but you had no other options. You decided to find a hiding spot close to a spawn point and camp, shooting everyone who came close to you.

Camping was a massive no-no, but it was the only way you could ensure a win against Eddie; although you knew you couldn’t stay there for long because everyone else would be soon coming after you once they realised you were camping.

After killing eight other players, you saw Eddie sprinting your way. You sprang into action and killed him before he even realised you were there before getting up and running to another part of the map, knowing as soon as Eddie respawns, he’d be after you.

As predicted, everyone else was after you.

You’d gotten killed a couple of times by other players, but you were still determined to win. You didn’t dare look at the leader board, only wanting to see the results at the end of the match.

With several seconds left of the match, you and Eddie found each other and began firing, both of you yelling as you kept missing – either on purpose or not. The game finally ended with Eddie getting the final kill, erupting a loud cheer from him.

You rolled your eyes as you waited for the final verdict, and your heart skipped a beat.

You won.

By a landslide.

Eddie’s cheering stopped as soon as he saw the leader board, instantly turning around to you and forcing your chair around to face him. “How the hell did you win?! You got lucky!”

Finally, it was your turn to have a shit eating grin on your face as you watched him almost rage quit in front of you. “Edward Wayne Munson, you just can’t admit that I’m the better gamer.”

He almost threw his controller down on his desk. “You cheated! I taught you everything you know!”

You laughed as you watched him almost lose his mind. “Looks like the master has become the padawan. The future is now, old man.”

“I’m only two years older than you!”

You placed your controller down on the table, getting up to stretch your legs. “And look at you; you can’t even beat me in multiplayer!”

Eddie followed after you, wrapping his arms around your middle and pulling you closer to him, he pressed his lips to your neck and cheek before burying his face into your neck. “Rematch?”

I absolutely agree.

I hope by now most of our followers have noticed that we never criticise fanart and fanfic in here. It's never been featured on this blog. What we feature here are prejudiced metas concerning the canon. We call out ableist, misogynistic (etc) takes about the canon characters. Takes that are trying to "explain" what happened in canon to other fans using veiled misogyny, ableism, victim blaming and anti-autistic bias. Those can have harmful repercussions irl, and we feel we must fight against those prejudices.

However fanfic and fanart are not that at all. Fanfic and fanart are not canon by definition, and are so subjective that they can have thousands of interpretations, so we feel it's not our (or anyone's) place to judge.

It's like playing with your Barbie dolls. You can do what you want with them, it's mostly harmless. If someone wants to make Aziraphale the villain in a fic? Go ahead, that falls into headcanon territory, and headcanon is not canon, it's anyone's land. I personally won't read that specific fic, but you can write it. I'm pretty sure I'd write stuff someone wouldn't read too, it's all ok. The problem is when they start to spread this as canon.

Now it must be said, of course some fics can be triggering (like every art out there), but in my 4 year experience in this fandom, 99% of fics are properly tagged, authors usually overtag for safety, so if you see a fic with a theme you don't like, it's easy to avoid it. Even fanart is tagged in the GO fandom, which is not something I see in every fandom out there. And besides, speaking of fanart specifically, it's so subjective bc what you see there may be just a metaphorical interpretation of feelings and not literal. So if you start scrutinising that you end up falling into censorship territory and that's shady.

Because of all that, we try to focus on calling out bad takes regarding the canon facts only.

That being said, in order to do that sometimes we try to analyse the overall situation of the fandom, bc many ppl try to impose fanon as canon in those metas, consciously or not. So while doing that, we may make commentaries on some fanon stuff, including the most common portrayals of the characters in fanwork. But trust that this is not a criticism of the fanworks at all. Again, it's just an attempt to separate the canon from the fanon, and to try to study the situation to see where the bad takes are coming from. In other words, fanon can be one of multiple tools to understand the fandom's mindset, and we make use of it. Is it possible that we may have (or will) missed the tone while addressing that and come across as if we're criticising fanworks? Of course, we're human, but trust that's not where we're coming from, and we appreciate criticism so we can be better :)

But honestly, if someone writes a fic where Aziraphale and Crowley are a toxic homophobic straight couple that ends up cheating on each other with the Metatron and divorcing, I couldn't care less. Have fun with your Barbies (but pls tag your fic lol).

I know this is a theme discussed over and over in fandoms, but I tried to give my two cents here, and believe me, this blog absolutely believes in "headcanon and let headcanon". Our problem is with ppl spreading misinformation about the canon.

Naofumi usually takes hours or even days to find a place to make his base (he's very critical about it, and yet no one knows the criteria. It could be anywhere), yet he's always one of the first done with a proper one.

Motoyasu's fav biome is the desert.

Itsuki likes the jungles most because that's where it's easier to shoot people.

Ren likes Dark Oak Forests because he can sneak up on people more easily.

Therese's fav biomes are mountains.

L'Arc loves Mushroom Islands, and he refuses to elaborate.

Glass likes the Plains.

Kizuna loves Rivers anywhere. She gets to sit in her little boat and fish.

Naofumi can remember all the potion recipes.

Naofumi, together with his younger brother, decoded the Enchanted Book Text together and they refused to share it, saying "With great knowledge, comes great responsibility"

Motoyasu is a little too trigger-happy about TNT and is always the first to volunteer if something has to get blown up. He has a stupid amount of TNT. (Reason his fav biome is the Desert)

Therese has the most broken chance of finding diamonds. Someone else just discovered their first one and she already has a chest half full of stacks.

Glass has an interesting goal of getting at least one ghast with a saddle on each server she's on. Once, everyone has to go on a whole hunt for ghast tears, because Glass had named and saddled many of them, and no one wanted to be assassinated because they killed one of Glass's ghasts.

Naofumi is the local chicken farmer.

Itsuki is the one who trades with villagers the most and takes down the most Pillagers.

Everyone had started setting up alarms/traps because of the number of times Ren had come into their bases undetected. He didn't steal or break anything, he was just there and gave everyone a scare each time.

Alike Therese's Diamond Luck, Kizuna has a stupid chance of getting OP loot from fishing. She loves using fucking rods.

L'Arc is the best at organizing his items and chests.

L'Arc also loves buildings castles as bases.

You need food? Naofumi's got it. It does not matter how much he's given out, he's got more. Everyone had eaten all their own food, and he still got enough to give everyone half a stack of cooked meat continuously. No one sees him making it when he seemingly runs out, and the first few times he was accused of cheating, but he never did. He's just always got food on him.

Ren and Itsuki are the best PVPs when the group is playing Minecraft in VR, while Kizuna and Glass are best in normal gaming.

Naofumi annoyed everyone with how OP some of his Shields and Armor get because it's so OP it takes a stupid amount of time to kill him.

Filo is the best at using an Elytra but she prefers just messing around in creative mode.

Naofumi will sometimes let her onto a shared server and get her as many materials as possible or get her creative mode just to terrorize other players.

Kizuna likes making her bases look like comfy little fisher huts near a river or beach, only for there to be a gigantic underground base beneath it.

Contingency Contract is upon us! It's designed to be fully modular, so just pick which risks you feel comfortable with and have a go. Don't get discouraged by how overwhelming it can be at first. It can be quite fun to make the perfect match between the risks you pick and the operators you go with.

babey's first CC clear... It took me a few tries to clear without any risks, albeit with the "no guards or supporters" thing already in mind. Once I finally cleared it, realized I could add on three risks ($$$ guards and supporters, max squad size 10, 1 base health) without changing up my strategy at all.

Later I did a similar run with the class toggle flipped (aka the Gubbles Learn Not to Over-Rely on Manticore Challenge™). This was woefully scuffed. The first attempt was ended prematurely when the battery in my mouse died partway through, and the second had a number of egregious tactical errors. I know how to better pull it off, but I somehow managed to clear it on try 2 so fuck it I'll take it

I was also able to pull off one of the early challenge missions (smth like "ur attack suck" and "edgy slicey boi have more hp" combo). From that I finally learned how powerful the combined slow from Manticore + Suzu really is, it's like. TURBO SLOW. er, um. extra slow. jumbo slow. molasses. paint dry. whatever u get the picture For all of em I had to borrow a friend's Kyato, and ngl I still kinda feel like I cheated? But when presented with the choice of dual-bladed delete cannon or literally not being able to clear the base stage at all... I suppose I'll take the victory supported by friends >w>`

Hard content is hard, babey player is babey, and life always finds a way to intervene. Lack of interest, hyperfocus on N64 development, hyperfocus on beating Perfect Dark for the first time, chronic illness, mental illness, going outside for walks on the precious two (2) days it didn't feel like instant heatdeath outside. Y'know, the usual. But given that this is the last CC-- and also the first CC I was even able to participate in-- I gotta say, I wish I got to it sooner. Generally speaking, challenging content usually ain't my thing unless I'm really interested in taking it on. And in the context of arknights, I've been burned out enough by the difficulty curve of the events and complexity of managing a ton of ops to really seek any of it out. But while even the risk 3 CC was difficult... I had fun! Eliminating certain classes got me to better think of how to get the most of what ops I had available. A stronger boss and squishier ops got me to think more critically about how to keep my ops alive through the onslaught, and to discover a pretty powerful combination of slows to crank the most out of what DPS I could manage. I bet I could've managed to squeeze in a risk 4, even, if I hadn't taken it all on in the last two days of the very last CC. Not recognizing an appreciation or enjoyment of something until it's just about gone... kind of an ongoing theme with my life lately, eh? It was my first real CC, but I'm gonna miss it. Oh also the music. The music straight up kicks ass.

Also someone borrowed my Vulcan a bunch fsr?? I know who took out Manticore that one time, but as for Vulcan's eight excursions up to risk fucking ten, I've no clue who brought her along for that ride. Thoughts while watching season 2 of Riverdale for the first time, as someone who’s seen every other season of the show:

1. You just know Hiram would use Veronica to shield himself from criticism all the time before everything really went tits up for them, like something shady would come out about him and the next day there’d be some girl-dad photo-op of them getting ice cream together or some shit

2. It’s so weird seeing Toni, Fangs and Sweetpea as new characters who are just being introduce because I just know as the being apart of Riverdale

3. Also weird seeing a version of Riverdale where there’s only like three gay characters as apposed to 25 we have now

4. I wish we got to see more of pathetic little nerd Kevin outside of seeing play a board game one time

5. I never really got Varchie, kinda thought they were the most boring ship in Riverdale, but now watching season 2 I get it, they’re fun together and they have an interesting dynamic - sorry to the Varchie’s for dumping on your ship all these years

6. Wait so Fangs was friends with Joaquin…and they used to talk about Kevin together…and Kevin had a thing with Moose who was dating Midge at the time and then Midge cheated on Moose with Fangs and then after Midge died Moose and Kevin started dating and then Moose moved schools and Fangs and Kevin started dating and then everyone went back in time and Midge came back to life and her and Fangs were dating…this show will be the death of me

7. So happy they retconned Reggie being rich and made him a poor it’s the best retcon in all of Riverdale

Fuck it. If Gege pulls a deus ex machina to kill Sukuna and keeps on with the bs about how ‘he wasn’t even giving it his all’ in the fight with Gojo, we can validly say JJK has gone down the toilet. It won’t be reaching, it won’t be delusional or biased, it will be legit criticism.

Am i nuts for thinking that at this point JJK needs to end tragically for it to be a satisfactory ending? Because good stories set expectations for how they will go. Sure, there can be some good twists, but there’s still a basic understanding of what kind of story it’ll be. Like Naruto and Avatar: The Last Airbender were set up so that the audience could tell that they would end with the protagonist saving the world and having a mostly happy ending, and that didn’t take away the quality of the writing.

But JJK isn’t set up for a happy ending anymore. People who valued kindness and/or had no ill intent are dead - Nanami, Haibara, Yaga, Riko, etc. Or there was Geto, whose kindness turned into something ugly and hateful. The most powerful character who was the cornerstone of the Good Guys’ movement was killed. And even worse is that Gojo makes his grand declaration to Ijichi that he’s going to change society and make things better, but in the end he didn’t accomplish that. He ended up killing the higher-ups anyway, told Gakuganji to continue the very same system just with different people, and he doesn’t beat the strongest force of evil that he was foreshadowed to defeat. That’s not a good twist, it’s disappointing.

If there’s a ~bittersweet~ conclusion it is going to come across as poor writing. The Good Guys have been steadily losing and losing and losing, jujutsu society hasn’t been changed, and a lot of interesting/good characters are dead.

At this point let Sukuna win. Uraume can cook all the surviving humans for him and then Sukuna can save his beloved chef for last to cannibalize.

You are SPOT ON with the Naruto and ATLA comparison. I am not kidding when I say I am now Team Sukuna. Why wouldn't I be? With the way the narrative is right now, I would feel so cheated if he didn't win. Does Gege really expect us to believe that the remaining Good Guys can beat Sukuna when the singular character who has been set up to defeat Sukuna since chapter 2 couldn't do it? Does he really expect us to be satisfied with Yuji (ily bby but wtf can you actually do rn?) killing Sukuna when Gojo Satoru, the strongest, could not?

I saw a post the other week that compared JJK to Naruto. The whole point of the post was that with other shonen manga (Naruto, OP, DBZ, etc.), we KNOW the protagonist is always going to win, even if it feels like a cop out. So when Kid Naruto beats tf out of a very powerful Orochimaru, we're all like "yeah okay, makes sense." But JJK has done the opposite. JJK has told us that just because someone is the protagonist does not mean they're going to automatically win. I mean, we've seen Yuji get the shit beat out of him so many times because of this. So JJK set up this pretty legit power dynamic and told us that the only person who can defeat the big baddie is Gojo Satoru and we have been given no reason to think otherwise. So when Gojo dies and Yuji somehow defeats Sukuna with an ass-pull, we're all going to be pissed because we were promised otherwise. If we saw Yuji beating special-grades left and right from the first few chapters, then it would probably be fine. But that is not what Gege wrote!! He wrote the opposite of this ffs.

And your whole point about all the people who valued kindness being gone is another thing that makes me even more frustrated. If we're going for a straight up tragedy, FAIR ENOUGH. But if Gege wants to turn this into a bittersweet ending or if he wants Yuji to beat Sukuna, it'll feel cheap.

Let Sukuna and Uraume kill everyone and everything. Any other ending will be bullshit.

Headcannons it is :D

Starting with Queen:

She is a Clash of Clans goddess (look the game up if you don't know what it is)

She's responsible for making some of the most difficult Geometry Dash levels--again, look up the game if you SOMEHOW don't know what it is xP

Despite being a Windows XP computer, she can somehow change her own background theme in Hometown, causing anyone who sees it to get utterly confused and distressed

She cares for Noelle so much partly because she can sympathize with her on a level nobody else can

Going off the previous hc, I think she may have had a parent of hers die when she was young, assuming she had parents lol Idk

She secretly thinks Berdly's pretty cool despite all she did to him

She knows things about Kris, Susie, Berdly and ofc Noelle, partly because all of them have used her Lightner computer form at least a few times

Water wouldn't harm Queen, she's too OP for that

Queen didn't show up in Card Kingdom until she was in her early 20s, and likely didn't stay there for even a decade

Queen's in her early 30s by the time we meet her in-game, in my eyes 31-33

Now for Spade King, some might be the same as yours :>

Spade King didn't have the best parenting growing up and was always under heavy scrutiny/criticism, likely from a combination of anger issues and his parents having super high expectations

He hung out with the other kings but always felt like an outlier and felt left out, but never mentioned it to them. He never fully trusted them in terms of leadership skills and general competence

Spade King's parents either passed away or vanished somehow when he was a late teen and he had to learn how to be a ruler at a younger age. I personally think all the kings come from royal families, and Spade King's parents were the first to go. This forced Spade King to cooperate with the other, much older royals, which he did not like at all

C. Round was kinda Spade King's version of a family pet and one of the very few Darkners he actually enjoyed hanging out with as a child, and because of this he later let C. Round roam free as it pleased and never put any restrictions on it

Spade King absolutely hated Jevil even before Jevil went insane. I like to think Jevil went insane while all four kings were in charge, and before that often did acts for the kings' parents. Jevil would often target and tease Spade King when he was young, albeit in a silly and playful manner, but Spade King always held grudges against him for it

Seam is one of the very few Darkners Spade King respects, hence why Seam is just chillin' in their shop with no need to attack or imprison Kris & Susie in the first chapter. Spade King always liked Seam because Seam would often interact with him in a calm and compassionate manner when he was a child

Spade King always tried to make room for Lancer despite his very busy job, and was often the one who cooked for his son

Spade King knew how incompetent Rouxls Kaard acted but always believed Rouxls had tons of secret potential he was wasting away, hence why he promoted him to Duke of Puzzles in an attempt to get Rouxls to show his true colors, albeit it didn't work lol

Spade King mandated that all Rudinn Rangers wear visors to protect their faces so they don't accidentally hurt themselves with their longer knives, guards aren't really competent if they accidentally harm themselves all the time xP

One year for Halloween Spade King had Lancer dress up as a pumpkin while he himself dressed up as a blueberry, who says kings can't have a little fun sometimes?

Spade King's in his mid-to-late 30s in-game, likely around 34-37

Spade King is a coffee addict, Idc if you don't like coffee you have to admit the guy needs something to keep him functioning during the day

1. As someone who used to play that with certain hacks and cheats, she would absolutely spend hours attacking other clans and villages whenever she was bored. She'd like the Pekas and maybe the Archers

2. I will never forgive her for her crimes against my eyes and self esteem when it came to those levels.

4. AUGH FUUUUCK. Ok, this reminds me on the trans Noelle hc people have, and that with my own trans Queen hc, I can totally see queen maybe seeing a bit of herself in Noelle and wants to help her in many other things

5. Personally, my hc is that her parents were quite neglectful, not usually out of melisious intent, but because they didn't really understand how to take care of a child, but she always held them close to her heart, so despite everything, she would have still been really upset when this happened

6. BERDLY! Ngl, I always imagined that she wouldn't have minded spending more time with him, but because her objective required Noelle and not him, she kinda pushed him away in order to achieve her goal.

1. Abso-fucking-lutely. This man did not have a stable childhood which affected him with how he patented Lancer. Not even the previous monarchs liked his parents too much

2. I feel like he and the other king fought alot, both as kids and as adults. None of them fully trusted each other

3. Yeah, I imagin he was crowed between 17 or 18, so he was still very young and waa definitely not suitid to rule, epessilly along side monarchs he would have otherwise avoided. Historically, kings and jester were actually pretty close and the kings allowed jesters to do alot, so I like to implement that into dr.. it is fucked that he went after King when he was just a child. 6. Lowkey, I love imaging that Seam is old as fuck and they often took care of baby king, sort of the same way Rouxls cares for Lancer, and he began referring Seam as a parental figure, sometimes accidently calling them "Mom" when he was tired
