Okay since everyone is talking about the Mean Girls Musical with the musical getting a movie adaptation I want to bestow my thoughts upon all of you.

In high school Tweek becomes a theatre kid (that boy has so much hidden talent). One year the school is doing their version of Mean Girls. Many people auditioned, even people out of the theatre club just because it was Mean Girls.

Everyone was sure that Bebe would get Regina as soon as they heard she was auditioning, Bebe herself included. Tweek just assumed he would get put in the ensemble or something.

But no. South Park High wanted to be different. Their Queen of the plastics wasn’t gonna be a Queen. Regina was going to be played and made a dude in their rendition, and there is only one dude who auditioned that could hit the vocal range they wanted. They lucked out on the fact he happened to be blond too.

Tweek was shocked he got anything other than ensemble let alone one of the most iconic character in the play. Naturally he freaked out, he wanted to turn it down, but whenever is he gonna get a chance like this again. After a quick pep talk from Wendy, and one from himself, he decided he was gonna give himself a shot.

Bebe was kinda pissed she got selected to play Karen instead of Regina but soon perked up after listening to the sexy number.

One time while Tweek was staying after school to rehearse Craig came to watch. He wasn’t supposed to be there but football practice finished early and Tweek and him were supposed to be walking home together. Craig just so happens to join when Tweek was rehearsing World Burn. Craig being a hormonal high school boy, who was crazy in love with his boyfriend, had a natural reaction to seeing said boyfriend performing said song. Luckily no one was in the back of the theatre to witness Craig squirming in his seat.

Craig started to watch more of Tweek’s rehearsals after that day. Even if it meant he was uncomfortably sitting there, still sweaty from football practice.

Bonus: Craig totally got jealous when he saw Tweek rehearsing Someone Gets Hurt for the first time. That’s actually how Tweek found out that Craig was sneaking into his rehearsals since Craig may not get super jealous often but when he does boy does it show.

Tweek made sure to give him extra kisses and remind him that he’s only acting with his scene partner. It soothes Craig but he still gets pouty whenever he has to watch that particular scene.

(Clyde definitely didn’t tease him about said pout after they all went to support Tweek on opening night. It backfired though because Clyde was as red as his jacket when Bebe performed Sexy and someone going that red cannot be missed)

LOVES IT. he brags to everyone, if someone is watching a vid of you skating he brags "yep thats my girlfriend" and smiles to himself, he takes advantage of it sm. he'd go backstage and if the guards didnt allow him he just use his card "im y/ns boyfriend yk, if she finds out about this she won't let you off so easily 😒". he'd pretend to be your coach just so he can see you practice. he doesn't tell you but he also saves the videos, he doesn't know how you can be so pretty while skating in the cold like that fr.

"HOW DID YOU DO THAT??" he's very concerned at how you do the stunts and how your spine is still intact. somehow he has a backstage pass??? everytime you finish a performance he would give you water and a coat to cover yourself "you did so well y/n!!!!!! 😊😊🥰😚" . he gives you motivational cheers too. butters is always there as a full time supporter

HE IS YOUR SUPPORTER, might as well be the president of your fanclub. he saves the articles of you like "y/ns skating routine" or knowing damn well he couldve asked. he'd be yelling nonstop in the crowd whenever you do performances. you have to tell him that you have a performance coming up so he is first to have tickets. you did a quad once in boy was shook, he was literally screaming your name and when you did a quad he was like 🧍 "HWAR????". he 100% would compete with anyone in the crowd, like if someoen was yelling your name louder than him he takes that as a competition. you just hear "y/n letsgo!!!" followed with "Y/N YESS THATS MY GIRLFRIEND!!".

The character/relationship development, worldbuilding, symbolism, characterization?? I still get emotional listening to “Wouldn’t It Be Nice.” by The Beach Boys.... Like what?!? I cannot wait for the day that I have forgotten enough of this fic that I can reread it again properly. IDC what fandom you’re from read this fic.

Me, You, And Time(HelplessRomantic_2)--(Creek-complete(13k))--There are a lot of fics on Craig and Tweek’s development using canon moments in the show and I think this one does it best. Characterization, realism, character/relationship development, friend group dynamics. It’s just a great fic overall. Love it

Family Is What You Make Of It(Mareepysheepy)--Creek-complete(17k))--This fic is unbelievable. It’s an absolute masterpiece of a take on the Tucker family dynamic and how Tweek has fit into their lives. The unconditional love they have for each other and Tweek’s support for Craig. ☆ He used his art skills to confess, making a mini book depicting special moments in which he started to love you. As well as your favorite flowers and a teddy bear that reminded him of you. 

☆ As seen in Butters’ past relationships, he gives all of his heart to you. You literally have him wrapped around your finger, if it’s within his abilities, he will do it. 

☆ Butters is a clingy communicator. He will call you over 5 times a day and send you multiple messages. The only exception is when he is grounded, but he has his ways. 

☆ When Butters is grounded he calls and messages you through a burner phone. He has to whisper so he isn’t caught or risks getting the phone confiscated. 

☆ You guys definitely have matching profile pictures on every social media, from pictures of your dates to Sanrio icons, his personal favorites are matching as Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel. He lets you pick who you want to be.

☆ When people first met Craig Tucker many assumed he hated them. Constantly flipping those around you isn’t the friendliest introduction you can make, but that was Craig. 

☆ Being seat partners allowed the two of you to interact more than you have in all the years you’ve known each other. You won him over when you gushed over Stripe, asking him questions about the guinea pig, and wanting any updates about him. 

☆ If you share a love for space and astronomy he is on his knees proposing, in his mind at least. On the outside he would just call you, soooo cool. 

☆ He confessed to you during a trip to the planetarium, wanting to confess under the cosmos. An environment he was familiar with to balance a new step in his life. 

☆ Craig is still deadpan, sarcastic, and stoic, even more so with you. That’s how he shows his love, teasing you to great lengths just to fluster you. Giving you a small smirk after he’s succeeded. 

☆ It’s canon he uses pet names, he prefers to use classic ones such as darling, honey, love, and babe. He’ll only use silly ones such as pookie, snookums, and sweetie pie to get under your skin. 

☆ After a while of being official, Craig calls you Stripe’s parent. One of the ways he’ll tell you he misses you is by saying Stripe misses his parent. 

☆ Dates with Craig will usually be somewhere under the stars. He feels the most comfortable in their presence, any intimate conversation is had in the audience of glimmering lights. 

☆ On the occasion they aren’t, he’ll take you to an amusement park, make dinners, and babysit either Tricia or Stripe. 

☆  Overall he is tough to open up but once you’re in, he’ll love you to the moon and back. 

☆  Clyde Donovan ☆ 

☆ You were in many of Clyde’s classes, most of which you sat behind or near him. He found you very attractive and wanted to talk to you. Being not very academically smart he decided to start asking you about lessons he didn’t understand, especially math ones. 

☆ Winter finals were coming up and the exam for your math class was worth 20% of your grade. Clyde very nervously, decided to ask you if you would help him study at your house. When you agreed he was ecstatic, he viewed it as the perfect opportunity to ask you out on a date. 

☆ After the session Clyde was very straightforward about his intentions. Admitting that he admired your compassion, patience, and good looks. He wanted to get to know you better through dating but would accept if you only wanted to be friends. When you agreed Clyde gave you a childlike grin and promised he would give you his best.

☆ He is a sweetheart with a sensitive soul, so he’ll treat you like royalty and loves if you do the same for him. His love languages are words of affirmation and quality time, especially if he’s on the verge of tears. As he’s gotten older he tries to not let his tears out, striving to be seen as a strong guy. 

☆ He can be a bit cocky, being voted the cutest boy in the 4th grade skyrocketed his ego. So when he flirts he tends to think he’s being smooth in reality he sounds like a dork. If you tease him about it he’ll just pout or try and brush it off by being suave, it does not end in his favor. 

☆ He loves to spoil you with shopping sprees, he has mall connections due to his dad being the owner of the shoe store. So you’ll get to have a field day on him of course. 

☆ For dates Clyde loves having movie nights, being an avid film fan he makes sure you guys are on top of every single new movie coming out, screening, or on the verge of debuting. He loves playing any spot, he is very competitive but will let you win from time to time.

☆ He is super big when it comes to PDA, his hands have to be on you at all times. From having a hand in the pocket of your pants, to an arm around your waist, kissing you anytime he can, and affectionately referring to you with pet names for anyone in a 5-mile radius to hear. 

☆ Clyde will show you off anywhere he can, at his spot games, to his friends, at school, at parties, and to his family. He will talk about you to anyone who will lend an ear. Everyone knows about your relationship, down to every little detail. 

☆ Over all Clyde loves with his very soul, he treasures you like no other. He knows he is lucky to have you by his side. 

☆  Tweek Tweak ☆ 

☆ Tweek has seen you around school and during his shifts at Tweak Bro’s. It was extremely difficult to form a connection since he was extremely weary of everyone. The only way he grew to be more comfortable in your presence was a mixture of making your intentions clear and consistent actions that confirmed your promises.  

☆ When his crush on you started to develop he became an anxious mess, screaming about pressure, shaking constantly, and increasing his coffee intake. 

☆ You had to ask him out since his anxiety kept getting the best of him, it was more of bringing attention to the bond the to of you had since you were always by his side and had crossed the line of best friends.

☆ He isn’t fond of PDA, the only thing he feels comfortable with is hand-holding. Other forms of affection are shown in private settings, he becomes incredibly stressed over showing affection in public. Thinking others are judging his actions or how he shows intimacy. 

☆ You’ve basically become an expert on how to ease his nerves, helping him calm down when he’s especially on edge. In a way, you’re his safe space, he has told you that you give him the feeling of home. Seeing as his home life is chaotic, his parents’ pressure on maintaining the shop, their lack of help on his condition, and the underwear gnomes. He finds solace in you. 

☆ You often help out Tweek when he’s at work, having to be a bit sneaky since his parents want their shop to only be family operated. 

☆ If you’re not helping out in the shop then you’ll be fetching the coffee orders, this is a common occurrence if it’s slow or busy. Tweek is thankful for your help and showers you in praise. 

☆ Dates with him are very personal taking place in locations where it feels like you’re in your own world. Bike rides around town, trips to your secret location, nighttime playground dates, and library trips. 

☆ Physical touch and words of affirmation are his love languages, your company means a lot to him. The security and consistency you provide help him navigate his anxious tendencies. He sometimes feels as if he isn’t enough for you due to his nature, your words settle his mind. 

☆ Thins he loves to do for you are playing songs on the piano and baking your favorite treats. These are ways he shows his love for you since it can be difficult to express his emotions. 

☆  Tolkien Black ☆ 

☆ Tolkien is a known gentleman, he is always willing to help out wherever he can. This along with standing up for what’s right has led you to cross paths with him. Sharing similar morals and maturity levels is what catches his eye. 

☆ Being lifelong friends is what made Tolkien realize he was in love with you. Compared to the rest of the town you were very level-headed and brought a sense of calm in the storm that is South Park. You were his rock, he knew he wanted you in his life forever. 

☆ After a discussion on how to navigate your friendship crossing the line into relationship status you both agreed to take it slow, getting to know each other through a new lens. 

☆ Tolkien isn’t shy of PDA but isn’t very big on it either, he shows a happy medium. Choosing to show you his love where you two are in a world of your own. To the public, they’ll only see arms linked together and the occasional kiss on the cheek. Behind closed doors he is the most passionate lover ever, showering you with kisses and hugging you to no end. 

☆ He is the perfect boyfriend, always there for you when needed whether it be for emotional support, physical needs, or someone to depend on. Tolkien is always there for you. 

☆ Of course he is spoiling you to no ends, if you mention something Tolkien is giving it to you the next day. You told him you ran out of something, he’s got 5 identical ones waiting for you. He picks up extra of your favorite personal care needs so you’ll never run out. You have specific interests? He is getting you every little thing related to it, mountains and mountains of stuff waiting at your disposal. 

☆ Tolkien’s top 2 love languages are physical touch and acts of service. If you hug him he’ll melt in your arms, basically turning into putty. He loves feeling you against him, it makes his heart beat fast. For acts of service it’s because he already has everything he could ever want, but having someone remember the small things he has to do every day warms his heart. It makes him fall for you all over again.

☆ Date nights include game nights he loves having new challenges and facing them with you. "Girl, you have no idea how stupid he looked," Bebe snorts. She was currently ten minutes in to another rant about her new boyfriend, who to me, honestly didn't seem so bad. "He tries way too hard," I respond, just to support my friend. Girls supporting girls, I guess.

I glance to the front of the classroom, Mrs. Garrison in a heated argument with another student about something political, though it didn't come as much of a surprise to see this scene playing out again. I don't pay much mind, beginning to draw random shapes and lines in the corner of my homework, which should've been done three days ago, but I'd get there.

I feel something hit the back of my head, turning around quickly to see Craig Tucker with a smug look on his stupid face. Oh, how I hated Craig Tucker. I hated his dumb voice, and his stoic expression. I hated his hat and his barely-Walmart-worthy t-shirts. I especially hated how he went out of his way to agitate me. I roll my eyes, looking to the floor to find a crumpled up paper ball. I snatch it up, tossing it back, earning the middle finger from the boy in the blue hat.

Every once in a while, (more like, at least, once a day) I would catch myself admiring him a little bit. I didn't like him or anything, it's just easy to look at an attractive person. Not that he was attractive.

The paper ends up falling over my shoulder and into my lap, drawing a sigh out of me. Could this kid just talk like a normal person? I unfold it for the millionth time, though I couldn't help but stop and pause for a moment.

I write back, "are you serious," dropping on his desk, and turning around again. I could hear Bebe snickering to my left, but I ignored her, hundreds of thoughts going through my head. I could feel his eyes on the back of my head, which really made me want to turn around, but I stayed put until the infamous piece of paper landed in my lap again.

The intense silence only made you more and more nauseous the longer it remained. Your Uncle Ale stood there, in visible shock at what he just saw. 

“W-What is this?” Ale asked, still in disbelief. 

“I'm sorry, Ale.” I softly mumbled, feeling so much guilt and I just knew he was disappointed in me. 

Alejandro remained in silence with his mouth agape open. He wasn't necessarily mad but he was quite shocked and surprised to find a guy who he has never met sucking on his niece's face. 

“Why didn’t you tell me that you had a boyfriend?” Ale asked me. 

“I just..I was afraid of how you would react.” 

“Why?” He asked. 

“Remember Craig?” 

Alejandro remembers him quite well. Craig was your first love and boyfriend. Upon first meeting him, Ale was sketched out by Craig. There was just something about him that didn't sit right with Ale. He could never place the feeling until you came home crying one night. You had planned to stay the night at Craig’s place and he didn't expect you home so when you came home late, he immediately came to your aid. Craig had forced himself onto you after you told him ‘no’ and ‘that you weren't ready.’ That didn't stop Craig unfortunately. You told Ale what had happened and it took everything in Ale to not go to his house and kill him. Your Uncle was tough and knew how to really hurt someone on account he used to be a Colonel. He didn't do that because he realized that you were more important to him. You needed him. He still got Craig taken care of, oddly enough to haven't seen him since he did that to you which was about two years ago, but you never questioned it. You were just happy he was out of your life. That odd feeling he had in his gut about Craig turned out to be real. But upon looking at this guy, who was sucking on niece’s face, he didn't get that feeling at all. Sure he had piercing blue eyes, but he didn't feel that same feeling he had about Craig. 

“Estrella, Craig was a horrible man. You know I would support you in whatever you do.” Ale reassured me. 

I still couldn't help but feel some guilt in my gut. I knew I should've told Alejandro about Johnny. I felt Johnny rub my back in comfort. 

“I'm Johnny.” Johnny introduced himself to Ale, sticking his hand out for a handshake. 

Ale willingly shook Johnny’s hand. 

Little did you know that Ale was appreciative of shaking his head, already indicating that he not only cared about you, but also your family and close friends. Craig never did that. 

“It's nice to meet you, Johnny.” 

Ale then turned to you, walking up to you and bending down to your level.

I could tell Johnny was doing this to make a good impression on my Uncle and probably to make up for the fact that Ale caught us making out.

With that, Alejandro smiled at both of y’all and left your room, leaving the two of you in there. 

“Holy fuck, I thought that was going to be much much worse.” I whispered to Johnny so Ale wouldn’t hear.

Johnny approached you and held you in his arms, squeezing you tightly. 

“I thought he was gonna focking kill meh. Those daggers.” Johnny mumbled, trying to refrain from laughing. 

“Oh yeah, he’s got that Papa Bear stare.” I agreed, making both of us giggle. 

Johnny then suddenly leaned in and kissed my lips. I kissed back, as if I was hungry for him. I was hungry for that feeling we were feeling just moments ago. It’s something I have never felt before with a man. Johnny pulled away but remained close, his bright blue eyes staring into mine, sending chills down my spine. 

“You’re so bloody fucking pretty, Dove.” 

Oh Lord have mercy, what was this that I was feeling? Johnny then dragged a finger down my cheek, slowly. 

“So pretty.” 

“My uncle is here, Johnny.” I remind him. 

“I know.” Johnny smirked, making me chuckle. 

“I do really want to get to know you though.” Johnny said, giving me a genuine smile. 

“Where do you wanna go?” 

“I know a spot.” Johnny said.

“So you’re telling me you have been to Lousianna before?” 

“Once or twice.” Johnny replied as we sat down at the park bench. 

The sun was slowly going down, slowly painting the skies a beautiful orange and yellow color. Johnny sat to the left of you, letting you sit as close as you wanted to him in which you were shoulder to shoulder. 

“I don’t think I have ever been to this park actually.” I mention. 

“Well I am honored to have taken you to it for the first time.” Johnny mentioned, pecking my temple. 

His lips were so soft. They were like heaven. 

Silence was met between the two of y’all, but it was a good silence and not an awkward nor bad one. You felt Johnny’s hand graze your thigh, as if he was nonverbally asking for permission. You trusted Johnny so you pushed your leg up against his. Johnny smiled at you as he placed his hand on your thigh but kept it still in place and never moving down. Instead he kept his hand still and rubbed circles onto your skin with his thumb. 

“So tell me,” Johnny started, “who are you?” 

“I am Dove Vargas, niece to an ex military colonel officer who lives with said uncle because my parents died in a very bad accident years ago who is also very traumatized by men other than my uncle and you.” I bluntly but briefly told Johnny. 

“That’s a lot.” Johnny jokes. 

“Yeah.” 

You blush, feeling Johnny stare at you. It made you feel flustered, but in a good way. You liked feeling like you were important to someone other than your family. 

“I have always been wary of other men besides my Uncle. And it was cause of Craig but I know that you, Johnny, wouldn't do that to me.” I say. 

“Never. I never would, Dove.” Johnny firmly said, just enough to know he meant it. 

“I know, hence why I trust you.” 

“I trust you too, lass. I know you wouldn’t tell anyone about me secret.” 

Johnny felt reassured knowing he could trust you with his big secret that he was in fact half mermaid. Other women have reeked in disgust with Johnny and told all their friends about him. Even though no one believed them, he still felt hurt that they went and told on him basically. But you? He knew you wouldn’t say a damn word to anyone. You leaned onto Johnny’s shoulder, feeling how soft and comfy his broad shoulder was. Johnny smiled like a little kid, seeing you be comfortable on him. It warmed his heart. 

“Craig is why I am so afraid of what my professor will do.” I mumbled, not caring if Johnny heard me or not. 

Luckily for you, Johnny has super hearing, needed for the deep, deep ocean he swims in but it still works on land. Johnny then wrapped his arm around you, bringing you even closer to comfort you. 

“Aye, I understand, Dove. Honestly, you’re the first woman I have ever let meself get close with in a long time.” Johnny mentioned. 

You crane your neck to look up at him. 

“What do you mean?” I ask. 

Johnny gently ran his fingers through your hair, trying to figure out the words on what to say. Johnny felt like he could trust you with this information. 

“The last lass I was seeing, I had warned ‘er about how I looked. And when it came to the hanky panky, she saw my, you know, and well she grew disgusted. She was the last lass I trusted with me secret and despite knowing what I was, she just grew disgusted and then started laughing at me. Laughin’ at me for how gross I looked! I can’t help it ya know?” Johnny explained with frustration in his tone. 

I held Johnny as he confessed to me what happened. I swear to God I will find out where this bitch lives. 

Little did you know, Johnny felt the same way about Craig. 

“I am so sorry, Johnny.” I apologized. 

“It ain’t your bloody fault, hen. It’s just..even after all of that, all of that trust built and she tore it down within a second of seeing me skin for the first time. That ain’t even the worst part about it.” 

I could feel the blood boiling in my blood as he said that. I rose up and stood up straight to face Johnny. 

“What did she do to you, Johnny?” I ask. 

“After she got done laughin’ at me, she stuck her fingers into my gills to ‘feel them’ and well it focking hurt! It’s like someone stubbing your organs you know? And when I groaned in pain, she just kept doin’ it and laughin’ at me. Like me being in pain was funny to ‘er.” 

You held Johnny tightly, hearing his assault. It shouldn’t have happened, regardless of whether he was human or not. 

“I am so sorry Johnny.” I apologized, holding him tightly. 

“Eh, it’s okay, Dove. I’m okay. Now that I have you.” Johnny smiled as he said this, making my heart race. 

You smile as Johnny leans down to kiss your head. 

“Yeah um,” I hesitated, trying to collect the words to say, “it’s kind of what happened with Craig.” 

Johnny turns to you, giving you his full undivided attention. 

“I wasn’t..ready to do the deed. But he was very well ready. And well he invited me to go over to his place and stay the night. Sounded innocent enough, so I went. Well, I ended up banging on the door to my uncle’s place at like three in the morning cause I managed to drive back home in hysterics without wrecking.” I explained, feeling Johnny’s comfort grow more and more. 

“What did he do to you, Dove?” 

You could hear a sense of anger but also protectiveness in his tone. Like he was ready to pounce but not on you. 

“He..forced himself in me. I fought, kicked, scratched, bit, until he finally let me go and I managed to grab my clothes, scramble to my car and I drove home naked. I only managed to get my clothes on until I parked at my uncle’s place. I put my clothes on, got in and told him what happened. He wanted to send his former second in command to ‘teach him a lesson’ a.k.a the person who took over his position in the military.” I explain some more. 

“Dove..I am so sorry. I swear if I ever see him-” 

“You won’t have to worry about that, trust me. Rudy, Ale’s former second in command, just threatened him and he was gone in a flash. All it took was a verbal threat, how about that?” I half joked. 

Johnny rubbed your back in comfort, feeling all that you were feeling. It was how he felt when his assault happened. 

“I am here for you, Dove. No matter what, I will always be here.” Johnny told me. 

I turned to find him leaning in close to me. 

“I know. And I will always be there for you too, Johnny.” 

You closed the gap first, placing your lips onto Johnny’s, feeling your slightly chapped lips onto his impeccable soft ones. That same feeling came back again. The same warm, craving feeling you get with Johnny. You wanted him. You wanted him so damn badly. 

“Johnny..” 

You moaning his name went straight to his core. He could feel the same warm, craving feeling you were feeling. You could feel Johnny graze his tongue over your lips and you opened your mouth, letting him have access to you. Johnny’s tongue explored your mouth as your hands landed on his shoulders and his hands landed on your hips, pulling you closer to him. This was everything you wanted in life, to be free from Craig’s demise, to be your own person again, to be free from his being, to be free from-

this is a GREAT question! i’m gonna expand to the nonpodcasters too btw.

butters’ parents: they are beyond humiliated by his very existence. the second he moves out their relationship starts to fizzle out, going from occasional talks and sometimes seeing each other on holidays to no contact at all and only linda acknowledging that he’s even their son. by the time the cheating scandal (and therefore his being gay) comes out, neither of them acknowledge him. as far as they’re concerned, he’s not their son anymore. when asked about him, they play dumb. he used to send them money but he doesn’t anymore. they never asked about this either because this requires contacting their son who isn’t their son. never an official disownment. and it hurts for butters even more because he didn’t even get the closure of his dad screaming at him about how much he sucks, it was just quiet. overall BAD situation.

kyle’s parents: they’re so embarrassed of him. constantly talking about how ike is a LAWYER and has a REAL job even though kyle is objectively more successful. sheila at least is occasionally nice about it because that’s her baby but gerald doesn’t even try to hide his disappointment. kyle is a failson to him and this kind of predated him doing fireside so now it’s just WORSE. permafailson. kyle tries so so hard to impress them and it does nothing, he will always be the disappointing son who had the potential to do so much more and instead is fucking around in los angeles with his bum musician boyfriend (as they see it).

cartman’s mom: cartman can do NO. WRONG. that is her baby. liane is so SO proud of him no matter what. he could kill someone and she wouldn’t give a fuck. she hates butters and kenny forever about the cheating thing too because they hurt her poopsiekins. she listens to fireside and swears to cartman that she thinks kyle’s jabs at him are awful, but secretly she finds them HILARIOUS and laughs out loud every time.

craig’s parents: cannot stress enough how little they give a shit. like, they love him and all, but his career is just so nothing to them. they sometimes even forget he has a podcast at all. their relationship is fine.

tweek’s parents: tweek’s parents are in jail. he visits them sometimes and they’re like “hey. we’re so proud of you for your podcast.” even though they don’t listen to it on account of they are in jail. they’re like “hey are you still gay? awesome. that’s so great. that must be fantastic for listenership.” tweek can’t bail them out because the charge is too big but they ask him every time nonetheless.

tolkien’s parents: they don’t get it but they try to be supportive anyway. he calls them once a week and they have a pretty good relationship. neither of them really attempt to understand his career and they don’t listen to the pod because they find it irritating, but if their son is happy, they’re happy! he doesn’t really discuss it with them.

clyde’s dad: he’s already a podcast listener, so when clyde told him that he was starting a podcast himself he was immediately supportive. he doesn’t really listen to catg because he doesn’t get it, but occasionally he’ll tune in and try to enjoy it a bit. it’s just not his thing, he’s more of an npr kind of guy. he also listens to mbmbam at his big age. but he gets a kick out of telling people about his popular podcaster son.

jimmy’s parents: they love him but they think his podcast and his comedy in general are so fucking dumb. his mom is more polite about it but his dad outright tells him that it’s stupid and unfunny. they’re very serious people so the shit that he does is unfathomable to them.

stan’s parents: i mean randy obviously is his producer so his take on what stan is doing is clear. sharon is SO SO PROUD!!!!! she is always showing people videos of his shows and playing his songs at work, telling people in the waiting room that that’s her baby singing, and look how talented he is! she doesn’t quite get it, and the music isn’t her style, but by god is she playing that shit anyway because stan is her little angel.

kenny’s parents: carol doesn’t care what he does, not in the enabling way that liane has, but more in the way of that’s her little boy and she’s happy that he made it out, regardless of how he had to do it. as opposed to stuart, who is actively resentful of kenny, kind of similar to the way he resents gerald. he sees kenny’s success as a betrayal to their family and the very fact that kenny is living well is as though kenny is basically straight up saying that he sees himself as superior. kenny tries to send his dad money multiple times and he always sends it back and tells him to fuck off with that.
