Batcows and millionaires

Of all the things he could do on a Wednesday night, Danny didn't think he'd be following the last wishes of a ghost cow but life takes its twists and turns.

With Wulf's help and a lot of persuasion he managed to translate what the spirit was trying to tell him, apparently "Batcow" wasn't meant to be a ghost, but neither did she wish to leave her former owner alone.

She was worried about him, how he would take it, and refused to leave until the Ghost King himself promised to take care of Damian and let him know she was in a better place. Again, Danny could have refused her request, but he thought about Cujo, he thought about how he followed him everywhere, about the time the GIW captured him and almost killed him, and he understood a little, so he agreed.

So, the Ghost King ended up in the back of a mansion (of course the owner had to be a millionaire, damn it, couldn't he be a farmer?), watching Damian Wayne stare at the barn with melancholy. Danny noticed his hands were shaking.

With a sigh, the halfa landed beside him, wondering how he might approach the subject. He obviously hadn't expected a sword on his shoulder but hey, he'd initiated conversations in worse ways.

Cow was a 75lb pittie who wanted to put his toys into your mouth so you could share in the fun! This lovey guy was a fan favorite, he was nice with kids, very chill and sweet. Unfortunately he had a very bad and unsafe situation where he would have killed a small dog if there was not human intervention. The people who saved the small dog from Cow were hurt in the process. Sadly, this incident and subsequent bite quarantine was unsafe and inhumane so we elected to euthanize Cow and decap for rabies testing, which was negative.

You will forever be remembered as a big dumb sweet boy 💚

Dream was once a well known show cow.

He was as pale and flawless as fresh snow save for the few dark markings by his hooves and on his ears.

He won award after award, ribbon after ribbon for this coat of his, making his owners, the Burgesses, very happy.

Then, one day, while he was in the fields, wild dogs had gotten through the fence and he was chased into the woods by his home where bear traps resided.

And where he had stepped on one.

Fortunately, his foot didn’t have to be amputated.

Unfortunately, the Burgesses decided they were done with Dream.

His foot prevented him from walking smoothly and properly for competition, and Dream’s owners didn’t think he was worth the time and effort to help him heal.

So they dumped him off at a rescue owned by a woman named Johanna.

And Johanna owned what was called a “therapy cow”.

His name was Hob. And not only did she bring him to see sick children or bring him to events for the kids to pet and play with him, he was also a soothing, comforting presence to the newcomers on Johanna’s rescue.

Well…except to Dream.

The first day Dream had met Hob, he had tried to intimidate the larger cow by trying to stab his horns into the large cow’s chest.

Any other cow would have taken the hint and stay away, but not Hob.

In fact, one might say he’d fallen for the slender show cow that first day with the way Hob was determined to be by Dream’s side at all times. Dream would often seem annoyed by the big cow following him everywhere. Johanna found Dream's reaction funny as she often found Dream curled around Hob, face buried in the big cow's chest, smiling as he slept.

Perhaps Dream had also chosen Hob.

Mio Kallos -- my FIV tuxedo baby who came to live with us 1.5 yrs ago -- is living his best indoor boy life. I found him in the library this morning, laying on the Egyptian jackal cuddled behind my bison.

Adora Belle, his older sister, is his favorite cuddle buddy.

And Cosina Kraska, his little sister, is his favorite partner in crime playmate.

And, happily, they all love each other.

Mkay so I've officially begun my cattle journal

Yak/cow is my theriotype yes but cattle und bovine are also my main special interest since I was 8 according to my old guardian when I met a calf for the first time,a precious hoilstein calf sweet faced bright pink nosed and something in my woke up like a peice of me clicked in place.

I of course immediately decided to name them choosing Charlie sticking by the little guy the whole time but I'll describe that in another post probably point is I stopped eating beef soon after and still won't.

Now before I continue please know if you est beef I don't think that makes you bad,I love my husband dearly and he really like to eat it I don't like ut but I never guve him shit for it at all.

Ever since that day I've had this passion this obsession and utter love for cattle and I actually didn't realize yak was a theriotype until like a year maybe year and a half ago but when it clicked holy fuck it felt good.

My absolute dream job is to be a professional cowboy and rescue cattle and make sure they get good homes and care my happy place is sitting under a tree in the field with my moo crew sharing snacks.

Lately my special interest has majorly intensified in a mew fiery way and despite the constant stress in life it always makes me feel good in some way.

So therefor I've gotten a journal to write notes in and have for info dumping haha if anybody is interested I will post about it when it's finished ^-^

Since it's on the topic I personally believe me being autistic and my theriothropy have connection not sure how to explain but I believe that,doesn't make me less valid or real it just makes me ME and I like me
