i've been working on something this week and was just happy i managed to do that so thought i would share :> slight enw spoilers

‘Twas simple, after that, to fall into the haze of domestic bliss that overcame the two of them for the next few days. Corisande showed her around the island, her hand in theirs as they toured together. They dipped their feet in lily-filled ponds, jumped across the cold streams that carved the land on their way to the sea, stood atop cliffs with beautiful views that Corisande painted for her with words. Corisande pointed out all her favorite spots for foraging, marks on trees that marked her way back to the cabin, and where the island’s animals often liked to gather. They kissed beneath the loud rush of waterfalls, in the mouth of caves home to glowing crystal formations sprouting from the ground, under leafy palm trees, their backs pressed to the rough bark. They spent much of their time on the beach. Corisande packed lunch and they sprawled across a blanket on the shifting sand. They ate, read, lay together under the sun, the breeze lifting off the sea enough to keep the heat at bay. Sometimes they walked, hand in hand, the tide washing over their footsteps; other times, Corisande swam while Y’shtola read, waiting for the moment they returned and pressed their cool body to hers, both of them laughing when Y’shtola tossed her book to the side. They talked, as well, of course, about the usual things. Books they had read recently, recipes Corisande wanted to cook for Y’shtola to try, the progress on Y’shtola’s book and what the other Scions were doing with their newfound free time. There were topics they did not discuss, things that made Corisande pause, disquiet, before kissing the back of Y’shtola’s hand and leading her somewhere new. When the conversation brushed against them, Y’shtola did not pry. She let herself be pulled into their lap, pressed into the blanket, the sand warm beneath her, their lips and hands temporarily eliding her concerns. Corisande would come to her when she was ready.

Well I’m vaguely basing them off of the six maidens in four swords, so I have a vague idea of what they look like?? I started with that anyway, and also looked at how they look in the manga since their designs are pretty.

But anyway yeah, I tried drawing them, but they need some serious work. This is the general idea I have of them tho!

I was just wondering what is the 2nd juror curse? I've seen it in the tag but I don't know what it is?

It’s been a running joke that a massive fan favorite always gets evicted as the second juror. I’d argue that it started in bb20 but that would mean including Kat so imma say it really started in bb22 with Da’Vonne but only really gained traction after Joseph got evicted during Dyre Fest. Other HGs affected by said curse would include Derek X in BB23 and Cory in BB25, and if noms look the way they are leading to be tomorrow someone may be joining this esteemed panel on Thursday

(even though by technicality he’s not hit by the curse since Jasmine left before him but it was still the same week so it counts I guess)

What are your thoughts on Shory? Cory x Shawn

Love them. As a kid, I thought they were just ~good friends~ without toxic masculinity.

But idk, Cory liking that Shawn called him "babe", the "why don’t you just marry Shawn" scene, literally their entire storyline in the episode where Shawn wants them to “meet new friends” is giving “meet new people” (like the shawngela sl in s6). And Cory just wanting Shawn at the wedding and that whole fight.

I love Corpanga and Shawngela, but I'd be an idiot to say they weren’t in love.

I feel so bad for Yondu to think about how guilty he must have felt after learning what Ego did to the children that he helped deliver 😥 Also will I ever stop being obsessed with his little talk with Rocket?? "I know who you are boy because you're ME" 😭😭😭

The way I will holler about Yondu until my dying breath, like!! I loved him in vol1 but vol2, it was all downhill from there. Got me #obsessed.

Like...you've got this man, twenty years a battle slave, he's clearly fresh into the whole free will thing, throwing his lot in with the Ravagers - even for a bunch of rough'n tumble mercs, they've got a code, a guideline, some sense of morality that comes before units. Not dealing with kids is pretty bare minimum, but clearly, some lines aren't meant to be crossed.

But also - you're newly freed, you've got all this trauma surrounding your own thoughts on families, and you've got a man who's had millennia to learn how to manipulate 'lesser' lifeforms, swearing up and down that he's not out to hurt his own kids, he just wants 'em home. Like...at that point, it's not dealing in kids. It's doing the right thing, bringing them home to their daddy, where they'll be wanted and cared for, shit you never had growing up. The units? That's just a bonus. Fuel costs, cuts for the ship and crew, and yeah, padding your own accounts, Yondu might be doing a good deed, but he's not running a charity here.

Finding out? Learning what happened to them? Sucker punch to the gut. All that sentiment going into taking these jobs, letting that cloud his decisions and leading him off the code - is it any wonder that Yondu pulled such a hard turn on letting anything soft guide him along?

(And I will always wonder how he found out, and beyond that, how Stakar found out. Don't get me started on that relationship because omg.)

His talk with Rocket though, man. Like Yondu!! You ain't as slick as you think, that takes a degree of emotional intelligence that you can't take back. He read Rocket like a fuckin' book - and he does the same damn thing with Peter in vol1.

I love that stupid blue asshole, he's such a wonderful, flawed character.
