For those of you who don't know, the English VA for Paimon (Corina Boettger) and voice of several side characters (Brandon Winckler) claim they haven't been paid for their sessions since December 2022.

Hoyoverse claims the fault rests with the recording studio, but honestly, I don't care who is at fault.

Personally, I'm not going to be paying for anything in Genshin Impact until their actors are paid, and I encourage every paying player to do the same.

In the anime/manga Kemono Jihen, Aya (voiced in Japanese by Kaede Hondo and in English by Corina Boettger); is the sister of Shiki Tademaru and is one of the secondary characters. Aya has complicated ties between humans world and kemono; as she was born to be use as a tool, instead of raised as a proper child. She has bubblegum pink hair, tied up in a high ponytail, and purple eyes. Her chosen outfit consists of a burgundy choker collar, a matching tube top, and light blue short-shorts with spider webbing at the bottom. An oversized jacket required that matches her hair, with a gold spiderweb on it alluding to her powers; and the look is finish off with black socks and red high-top sneakers. Collect all the accessories of the Aya Tademaru costume from Kemono Jihen for Halloween and cosplay.

Well, looks like miHoYo is back on their bullshit.

Courtney Lin got replaced as Lucy in Zenless Zone Zero and Soukaku's uncredited original English VA got replaced with someone else.

Some people are claiming that Soukaku's new English VA is Corina Boettger, but I haven't found anything to confirm this.

Lin getting replaced on two games has to be an agency issue or something related to the current SAG AFTRA video game strike. Because the only time miHoYo cuts ties with any VA is if there is controversy surrounding them. And as far as I know, Lin isn't a controversial figure in the VO scene.

Again, it would have been nice if miHoYo put out any sort of statement regarding these sudden recasts, but they've just been radio silent.

I know Billy got recast, but his old VA explained that that was because miHoYo decided to go with a different recording studio for the official release.

Please don't harass the new VA's, it's not their fault that they were put in a shitty situation.

One of my oldest and proudest commissions by a buddy who used to go by Jostergos445#8011 on Discord! I've gotten her signed by as much of the AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES cast and staff as I could, and I'm really proud of the result! I commissioned this during the promotional era of AI1 and based the ideas off of the snippets of PSYNCIN' IN THE PaiN and the lyrics of Invincible Rainbow Arrow we had at the time :). It ends up really having a dreamlike Somnium quality!
