デジモンアドベンチャー - 丈が落語演芸!?

（太一、アグモン、ヤマト、ガブモン、空、ピヨモン、光子郎、テントモン、ミミ、パルモン、タケル、パタモン、ヒカリとテイルモンが寄席をのためにいます席に座っている。）

太一: アグモン、私たち自身で寄席を見るのは今回が初めてです。丈にもしばらく会ってないわ。

アグモン: そうだ、太一。私たちは彼を見たことがありません。

光子郎: どうやら新しい落語師匠がいるかもしれない。

ヤマト: はい、分かりました。

（照明が暗くなり始める。背景から締め太鼓、三味線、能管の音が聞こえる。幕が開き、丈とゴマモンが頭を下げる姿が映し出される。）

群衆: 待ってました！新しい落語師匠が登場！

太一、アグモン、ヤマト、ガブモン、空、ピヨモン、光子郎、テントモン、パルモン、タケル、パタモン、ヒカリとテイルモン: 丈!?

ミミ: きゃ～！丈先輩が落語を披露しています！

丈: 皆様、本日も大入り満員ありがとうございます。

ヤマト: すごい低号。

丈: うして私も立派な落語家になることができましたのは、���とえに皆様のおかげでございます。

（丈は羽織紐をほどいて脱ぐ。）

丈: 今日も相変わらず、古い話を申し上げます。ここ大阪で、お金のない貧しい男をここに連れてきた男がいたことがあります。そして、ここの芸者は、お金をたくさん持っている裕福で裕福な女性と一緒です。

光子郎: あ、過去の他の人たちと同じようにっぽい。

丈: そして、芸者は三味線をとても上手に弾いたので、貧しい男は芸者の家に到着しました。

（三味線奏者が楽屋の中で演奏しています。）

三味線奏者: (歌いながら) 貧しい男が芸者の家に忍び込んだのですが...芸者は大変裕福でした。

丈: そこで貧しい男は芸者の家を見回しました。すると、美しくて裕福な芸者を見つけました。男は言いました。「こんにちは、とても素敵ですね！そのお金で商売をしてくださいますように。」

（群衆は笑い始めました。太一、アグモン、ヤマト、ガブモン、空、ピヨモン、光子郎、テントモン、ミミ、パルモン、タケル、パタモン、ヒカリとテイルモンさえも。）

丈: それで彼女は交換を拒否し、警備員を呼び、そのかわいそうな男は家から逃げ出しました。

（三味線奏者が楽屋の中で演奏しています。）

三味線奏者: (歌いながら彼女は三味線を弾きながら、少し早弾きで) 芸者は拒否し、警備員を呼び、かわいそうな男は家から逃げ出しました。

丈: 哀れな男は路地裏に逃げ込み、そのまま眠りに落ちた。甲高い声で「芸者に断られたから眠いんだ」と言った。

（群衆は笑い始めました。）

丈: そして翌朝、芸者は新たな償いのために出かけ、そのお金で貧しい男に取引を持ちかけ、貧しい男はお金持ちになったのです。

丈とゴマモン: ありがとうございます。

(観客は拍手し、丈とゴマモンは幕が閉まり、拍子木が最初はゆっくりと、そしてだんだんと速く叩かれ、お辞儀をします。)

Mother Knows Best/I See the Light/When Will My Life Begin? (T.K.'s Fallen Crest of Despair's Song)

T.K.'S FALLEN CREST OF DESPAIR'S STORY

During the following events of the episode, Piedmon catches up to them and Patamon Digivolves to Angemon to try to fight him off. Unfortunately, he is easily defeated and Piedmon then cuts the rope, climbing after the two kids. When Piedmon attempts to take T.K, Kari grabs onto the boy, despite T.K imploring her to let him go for her own safety. Kari refuses to let him go, so Piedmon cuts the rope further, causing T.K. and Kari to fall. As they fall, T.K. clutches the keychain form of Matt and after hearing the encouraging words of his older brother, he is reminded that hope remains. His Crest of Hope turns into his Fallen Crest of Despair then finally begins to glow and Angemon finally Digivolves into NeoDevimon and he defeats Piedmon for good.

This is where our story departs eventually on his good behaviour and explain what happened. By now though it’s far too late. T.K. has been stewing in grief and bitterness for too long and now his heart has turned as dark. No one is safe, certainly not his Crest and he will have his revenge.

But by the time he reached him, it was too late.

T.K. couldn’t have known that his Fallen Crest of Despair had been planning to take his revenge on the kingdom that had cast him out him, armed with the ability to spread darkness and decay. The task was simple: wipe out those who had ever threatened them, and secure their safety forever.

T.K., twisted by heartbreak and manipulated, eagerly accepted and a chill descended on the kingdom for the storm that was coming...

We Don't Talk About Bruno/Nothing Left to Lose (Tai's Fallen Crest of Cowardice's Song)

TAI'S FALLEN CREST OF COWARDICE'S STORY

During the following events of the episode, Tai realizes that Greymon won't Digivolve by himself, and he decides to put himself in danger to make him do it. Tai then runs out into the middle of the Colosseum and tries to get the other Greymon's attention. Biyomon and Gabumon Digivolve to try to help, but Tai tells Greymon to Digivolve too. Suddenly, Tai's crest of Courage turned into his fallen crest of Cowardice and Digivice begin to glow and Greymon however, Dark Digivolves to SkullGreymon. Everyone is very worried and confused about this huge Digimon that Agumon became. SkullGreymon easily defeats evil Greymon, but he then turns on Tai and his friends too.

And so it’s about time Tai placed a mirror in front of his friends, showing them exactly what he sees. Sora, a frightened coward and constantly running from the truth. Joe, like Sora, too afraid of the truth and of what it means to speak up. Mimi, putting on a performance everyday to avoid what facing herself could truly mean. And Matt, his friend, sitting so high above them all that he can no longer see his friends, can no longer see what truly matter.

As we saw in the first part of this tale, after confronting his friends, Tai’s next target was the crest, the very source of their magic. He planned to steal it and separate them from their power forever. He would sever their tie to what made them special and finally they might understand a fraction of what it feels like to be entirely powerless. And so, after facing each member of his friends, Tai took the crest and blew it out, cutting them off from their energy for good.

But that's not where the story ends. Where does Tai go now? What does the family do? What happens to the crest? What happens to the energy? Well, those are all questions we’re about to answer.

Almost There/Friends On the Other Side (Mimi's Fallen Crest of Mendacity's Song)

MIMI'S FALLEN CREST OF MENDACITY'S STORY

During the following events of the episode, Tai's next plan is to record Mimi's singing on tape, with Palmon's help, though Mimi quickly finds out, and has all five of them thrown in the castle dungeon. All five of them tell her off for how selfish she’s acting, but Mimi couldn’t care less.

After having a bad dream where she is attacked by Devimon and Etemon, and no one wants to help her because of her selfishness, leaving her to fend for herself, Mimi wakes to see Sora, who comes out of hiding long enough to console Mimi. Mimi realizes what a fool she's been, and her crest glows as her crest of Sincerity turned into her fallen crest of Mendacity. She releases the group from jail and, after apologizing for how she acted, decides to sing again for the Gekomon and Otamamon, much to their pleasure. But unlike this story, when the boys enjoyed Mimi's singing, Mimi reacts badly again and has them all thrown out by her servant Digimon. They accuses them of lying, telling them that they were tricked by she and Palmon, and now has come to harass an foolish princess.

And so Mimi makes the deal. Mimi was turned into a tyrant queen and Palmon dark digivolves to Togemon to Oleamon. She throws out Tai, Joe, Agumon and Gomamon.

She is gone too far, her ambitions have blinded her and she needs more. After all, that’s what her friends needed her to go and trying to make her happy for singing, didn't they? She can’t stop now, not when she has come this far. It doesn't even faze her. Mimi won’t stop moving forward and if people get in her way then they’re collateral.

Once you’ve made a deal, there is no turning back, and she’s almost there.

Rule the Quiet (Izzy's Fallen Crest of Ignorance's Song)

IZZY'S FALLEN CREST OF IGNORANCE'S STORY

During the following events of the episode, Izzy hears a voice which accuses him of being greedy when it comes to knowledge, and demands that he give up his curiosity. With no other options, Izzy gives in, and enters a trance-like state. Moments later, he and Tentomon are floating through endless space, and the mystery voice reveals itself as the Big-brained Digimon, Vademon, telling Izzy to forget everything. Tentomon's attempts to bring back the old Izzy fail, as Izzy pushes him away and focuses more on Vademon's guidance and tutoring. Meanwhile, DemiDevimon offers a piece of his curiosity to Vademon in exchange for Izzy's crest. Back in endless space, Tentomon has de-digivolved to in-training form of Motimon and he de-digivolved to his weakest form, Pabumon.

But, his Crest of Knowledge turned into his Fallen Crest of Ignorance as Pabumon digivolves to Motimon, to Tentomon, to Kabuterimon, and he digivolves to Kuwagamon as Izzy was still in trance-like state. And, at long last, he got what he wanted. He pushes Tentomon away an hour ago and he had a moment of silence..

For the first time since he was young Izzy was excited for his future. He could finally seen himself again. Until Tentomon has de-digivolved to in-training form of Motimon and to de-digivolved to his weakest form, Pabumon and tears flooding in his eyes. No, no, no! He’d done everything right, finally everything was as it always should’ve been. He wouldn’t go back, couldn't go back. And in his agony a new power emerged...

Journey to the Past (Joe's Fallen Crest of Feckless' Song)

JOE'S FALLEN CREST OF FECKLESS' STORY

During the following events of the episode, Joe and T.K. soon run into MegaSeadramon, who attacks them and sends Joe and T.K. flying into the water. When Joe sacrifices himself to keep T.K. afloat, his Crest of Reliability turned into Fallen Crest of Feckless glows, and Ikkakumon Digivolves to MarineDevimon, who saves Joe and T.K. and defeats MegaSeadramon.

Once Joe is on his dark side of his Fallen Crest of Feckless, consumed by his desire for retribution, Joe, his eyes now glowing a gray, uses the Fallen Crest of Feckless to use MarineDevimon with a power of Darkness Water, cackling with terrible sadistic delight.

And the rest, as they say, is history.

This Wish (Kari's Fallen Crest of Darkness' Song)

KARI'S FALLEN CREST OF DARKNESS' STORY

During the following events of the episode as Myotismon fires a Grisly Wing attack at Kari and Gatomon which Wizardmon takes the full force of. Full of grief from Wizardmon's death, Kari cries as her digivice shines as her crest of Light turns into her fallen crest of Darkness and DemiDevimon lets go of Kari's digivice for Tai to toss to her.

As Gatomon digivolves into LadyDevimon, she uses Darkness Wave for a power to make Myotismon as she and Kari as her slaves forever. Let's see how Myotismon enjoys killing people as a kiss.

For The First Time In Forever (Matt's Fallen Crest of Enmity's Song)

MATT'S FALLEN CREST OF ENMITY'S STORY

During the following events of the episode, things get worse when T.K is captured by Vegiemon. Joe does his best to save him, but then gets captured himself.

Matt, feeling touched by Joe's courage in saving T.K., despite how poorly he has been treating him, manages to activate his Crest of Friendship as his Crest of Friendship changed into his Fallen Crest of Enmity, which allows Garurumon to digivolve into Were Garurumon (Black) for the first time.

Matt's focus returns to his friends. Now his mind is clear of any love or hope he only has his darkest feelings to dwell on. Joe is doing everything wrong on purpose, he lashes out at Tai too, his little brother T.K. is unable to calm his big brother down. All Matt wanted, all he needed was someone to talk to, someone to share his burdens with. But that had never been Tai. Matt had tried so hard to make a connection, but he was done trying. If they weren’t going to be brothers then they’ll be enemies.

And so Matt leaves the diner to find Tai and end things between them for good.

So This Is Love? (Sora's Fallen Crest of Loathe's Song)

SORA'S FALLEN CREST OF LOATHE'S STORY

During the following events of the episode, Biyomon tries to take him on, but Sora refuses to let her go. It's then that Sora realizes her mother was trying to protect her and releases Biyomon to face Myotismon. But this is a villain story.

When Birdramon is struck with a powerful blow from Myotismon, Sora yells out her love for Biyomon, everything went change as her crest of love turned into her fallen crest of loathe and Birdamon digivolves into Karatenmon.

A shadow crosses Sora’s face, a darkness she hasn’t felt ever before entering her heart. In a world full of evil even the purest of hearts can break and become something darker, something unrecognizable. For so long she had hoped for a life different to the one she had been given, she had taken the high road and sacrificed her own wellbeing in the process. But the high road suddenly looks far too high to climb and the low road seems very very appealing. Forgiveness and kindness have gotten her nowhere and so maybe it’s time for a different approach. We see of Sora's sad memory as it made her believe her life was loveless.

So this is love? Well if that’s the case, then she doesn’t want it. In fact she’ll ensure it’s something she never has to worry about again. After all, isn’t it about time she took back control of her life?
