Do you know Dylan Hollis’ food videos? I know there’s a lot of head canons and comics out there about Dick’s ability and willingness to cook, but I like to think that at least one thing that would get Dick in the mood to start up an oven (no matter how exhausted and busy he’s been) is the idea of getting to try out century old recipes with Alfred. I just feel like Alfred would enjoy explaining all the weird science that goes on in baking/cooking and Dick would like seeing all the ridiculous food combos

I want Alfred to gleefully watch Dick's curiosity shift to disgust as cocoa powder and powdered sugar get mixed into a pan with a huge block of Velveeta cheese.

Dick: There's no way this is a real recipe. Did Bruce put you up to this? Did he tell you to test my observation skills? Because I thought he was done with all of that after I found the egg in my tissue box this morning.

Alfred: Master Bruce would rather crack that egg over his head than have anything to do with this recipe.

Dick: I might join him if this so-called fudge keeps looking like this.

Pro-curetember Day 24: Baking/Cooking!

I thought for this prompt, I'd post my favorite food that appears in the franchise, with a Precure that often enjoys it herself due to her friend helping out at a shop that serves it. I took my Cure Happy plush for some delicious Okonomiyaki. It's incredibly tasty, and I wish to make some more of my own at home again someday! It's incredibly delicious!

This one's vegan, but I'm wanting to do my own for even more tasty ingredients!

hobbies i have and which characters i think would have them (the 9 plus Will)

reading: Annabeth, Hazel, Piper (only when shes bored), Nico, Will, Jason, Frank and maybe Reyna for like research on Rome or something

Writing stories: Will (for the younger campers), Percy (about his own adventures in like a journal or something), Piper (dont ask me why she gives off writer vibes), and Frank (he would write tiny little adventures he has with Hazel)

Journaling: ANNABETH, Jason, Hazel, Will, Nico (but rarely), Frank, Percy (hes started keeping track of the times he almost dies w/ this) and maybe Reyna (just to remind herself of whats on her mind)

Cooking/Baking: Hazel, Frank, Nico, Reyna, Jason

Tennis: Annabeth (plays for her HS/finds at least a similar sport in New Rome), Hazel (beginner, Annabeth teaches her more every weekend), Jason (actually really good), Reyna (could be a pro and is on Annabeth’s level so they rally a lot) and Will

I'm not the best at serious posts, but that article up there reminded me of how important it is that people like you stand up for us. So hold on while I try to get this out of my mushy end-of-work-day brain.

We could fight this fight ourselves for decades trying to reach the equal laws, gender affirming trans healthcare that doesn't have a 2-5+ soul-eating years of waiting time, medical care with equal knowledge of lgbtqia+ bodies, and, what is often forgotten, inclusion in the little everyday areas of life like our way of speaking or things being set up or designed with the existence of queer people in mind.

But you joining in could get us there so much faster.

The power you have as a hetero cis person is that you set the standard for what is seen as the average way of treating us among other hetero cis people. You have been given the power of deciding what's "normal" and I'm begging you to use it.

Richard Green is a great example of to what extent your actions can help our situation, and smaller ways of support still add up to a great impact on society, and could make the days of the queer people you interact with.

Educate yourself before you speak up, but don't be silent.
