Market Growth 2025-2030: Connected Logistics in the Digital Era
The global connected logistics market size is expected to reach USD 86.57 billion in 2030 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 14.9% from 2025 to 2030. The term ‘connected logistics’ refers to a collection of tools, and platforms, including hardware and software, that enable real-time tracking of commodities sent by land, rail, air, and sea routes.
To facilitate shipment, it communicates logistical and pertinent data such as tracking and traceability with every participant in the supply chain, such as manufacturers, suppliers, and customers, among others. By integrating several linked platforms, these solutions aid businesses in enhancing information flow during shipment and delivery using RFID chips. Connected logistics provides improved warehouse management using technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, virtual reality, and big data, among others.
Connected logistics has enhanced the efficiency of last-mile delivery with the aid of communication devices and tracking devices. Connected logistics aid in the efficient management of supply chain security, freight traffic, and routing of the fleet by minimizing the cost of the transport. Additionally, technologies such as vibration monitoring and global positing system (GPS) aid in performance optimization and provide position tracking for each fleet vehicle. Connected logistics have significantly improved risk resilience planning.
Thus, increased demand for improved warehouse management and rising demand for efficient supply chain management among others are the factors fueling the growth of the target market. The demand for intelligent transportation solutions is anticipated to rise significantly overall, as well as in the logistics sector. It is expected that logistics 4.0 and ongoing work on autonomous logistics trucks will present lucrative opportunities for the target market's expansion.
Logistics 4.0 uses analytics, data, the internet of things, and automated decision-making solutions to improve operational efficiency and performance. For instance, in April 2022, Daimler trucks, with its independent auxiliary Torc Robotics, started testing their autonomous trucks, which operate on four levels of autonomous driving in the U.S. Additionally, autonomous trucks are increasingly gaining traction across the logistics industry owing to rising shortage of drivers, increased safety and improved efficiency.
The increasing implementation of logistics 4.0 and ongoing efforts to develop autonomous logistics vehicles are predicted to give profitable opportunities for the target market's growth over the forecast period. Additionally, the necessity to reduce the cost of shipping and storage services is propelling the demand for connected logistics products and solutions. The need for intelligent transportation solutions is anticipated to rise significantly. The declining cost of loT sensors and connected logistics hardware is one of the driving factors of the target market growth.
The COVID-19 pandemic led to disruptions in the global supply chains. In addition, the state and federal governments announced the lockdowns and border closures, which halted the shipment of the goods. However, the pandemic accelerated the adoption of technologies such as the internet of things (IoT), automation, and robotics, among others, in the logistics sector.
For instance, according to a report by Inmarsat, a leader in mobile satellite communications, “Owing to the pandemic, 90% of the transportation and logistics firms have adopted or are planning to adopt the deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) projects. Additionally, there has been a shift from electronic data to app-based program interfaces with cloud integration, enabling logistics companies to connect with e-commerce platforms.
Connected Logistics Market Report Highlights
The hardware segment dominated the market in 2024. The sensors are the largest sub-segment of hardware components in terms of revenue owing to the increasing demand for asset tracking
The services segment is anticipated to expand at the fastest CAGR during the forecast period. The high rate of outsourcing business functions contributes to the increasing demand for managed services
The roadways segment dominated the market in 2024. This dominance can be attributed to the growing need for reduced traffic congestion, road safety, and increasing government initiatives in infrastructure development
The retail and e-commerce segment is anticipated to expand at the fastest CAGR. The growth can be attributed to the increasing preference for online shopping among consumers

Coca-Cola is now on the official BDS boycott list!
From the website:
November 2024
1) Why?
Because Coca-Cola is implicated in Israeli war crimes.
According to research by WhoProfits, the Central Beverage Company, known as Coca-Cola Israel, which is the exclusive franchisee of the Coca-Cola Company in Israel, “operates a regional distribution center and cooling houses in the [Israeli] Atarot Settlement Industrial Zone.” Furthermore, its subsidiary, Tabor Winery, “produces wines from grapes sourced from vineyards located on occupied land in settlements in the West Bank and Syrian Golan.”
The International Court of Justice affirmed in July 2024 that Israel’s entire occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is illegal, as are all Israeli settlements built on occupied land. As Israeli settlements – on occupied Palestinian and Syrian land – are considered war crimes under international law, Coke is complicit in a war crime.
Corporations that are implicated in the commission of international crimes connected to Israel’s unlawful occupation, racial segregation and apartheid regime - within or beyond the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967 - are all complicit and must be held accountable. Direct complicity includes military, logistical, intelligence, financial and infrastructure support. The corporations, as well as their boards of directors and executives, may face criminal liability for this complicity.
Local alternatives are popping up worldwide to substitute Coca-Cola, an unnecessary and replaceable beverage
Local alternatives to Coca-Cola have been gaining market share across the world, including in Palestine, China, Bangladesh, Sweden, Egypt, India, South Africa, Turkey, Lebanon and elsewhere.
2) Why NOW?
The BDS movement has always considered Coca-Cola boycottable but has not prioritized it as a target based on its careful and strategic target-selection criteria, so why endorse the Coke boycott now?
Human rights and health activists, among many others, have been campaigning against Coca-Cola and similarly complicit corporations for decades, including grassroots drives targeting the company for its complicity in Israel’s gross violations of Palestinian human rights.
During Israel’s ongoing, livestreamed genocide, Israeli soldiers have often been pictured with Coke cans, donated to them by various genocide-enabling groups. This has provoked even more anger against the company, particularly given that Israel is starving 2.3 million Palestinians in the occupied and besieged Gaza Strip, severely limiting their access to clean water and, as a result, inducing the mass spread of contagious diseases.
Given this context, Palestinian activists in Gaza and many BDS activists in the Arab world, in many Muslim-majority countries, and in some European countries as well, have called on the BDS movement to add Coke to its priority targets.
The BDS movement had previously targeted General Mills for its manufacturing of Pillsbury products in the illegal Atarot Settlement Industrial Zone - the same Zone where the Coke facility operates. Thanks to effective BDS campaigning, we won the demand for General Mills to end its business in Atarot. We know a campaign against Coke is winnable too.
Based on all the above, and given Coke’s large contribution (through business-as-usual and taxes) to Israel’s war chest during the genocide, the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), the largest Palestinian coalition leading the global BDS movement, has endorsed the grassroots, organic #BoycottCoke campaigns to pressure the company to end its complicity in Israel’s illegal occupation, apartheid and genocide.

Docks Market: Tracing the Evolution and Uncovering Emerging Opportunities
The global docks market size is expected to reach USD 2.3 billion by 2030, as per a new report by Grand View Research Inc. The market is expected to expand at a CAGR of 3.4% from 2022 to 2030. The rising structure demand as the governing bodies of various economies is conducting redevelopment of waterfronts to maximize their value for both business and community, which is expected to propel market growth. Additionally, the constantly rising global population is indirectly leading to the scarcity of space in the existing urban ports leading to market demand for increasing the space productivity within a port.
One of the Norway-based engineering firms has developed smart application software to reduce the risk of accidents using an IoT platform. The newly developed technology makes use of hi-tech sensors to real-time monitor the operating states of floating docks from virtually anywhere. This newly developed application software shows the water levels across different tanks and other operating parameters for the docks which will increase the market for docks.
The Governmental permits are needed on the size of the dock, type of dock, and the type of natural resources that might get affected such as mangroves, corals, hard bottoms, and seagrass. The prohibitions are enforced on the harmful chemicals used for docks which may disturb the marine ecosystem. Lastly, some other restrictions might be added to control the type of dock being placed on the property.
The installation of docks is offered directly by the company-appointed contractors or distributors. However, the companies also offer a product suitable for DIY installations. In addition, the manufacturers also offer repair and maintenance services for the docks. The conventional port world is constantly changing, the technological, demographical, and sustainability drivers are affecting the daily business and are shaping several important trends which is also expected to drive the demand for docks market during the forecast period.
The global temperature rise is expected to make the transpolar passage and the Northern Sea Route could become potential alternatives for maritime freight. The use of the Northern Sea Route for maritime freight between Asia and Northern Europe is expected to reduce the voyage distance when compared with the Suez Canal route.

The metal frame segment accounted for a market share of 52.0% in 2021, owing to the increasing demand for aluminum frame docks. Docks with aluminum frame are highly preferred by lakefront home or business owner as it offers strength as well as improve the aesthetic profile of the property where the dock is installed
The commercial application segment dominated the market in 2021 and is estimated to generate revenue of USD 1.1 billion by 2030, owing to the endless commercial applications for floating docks, however, they are commonly used at settings such as waterfront resorts and marinas
The market in North America is anticipated to witness a CAGR of 2.8% from 2022 to 2030 on account of increased users indulging in outdoor recreational activities that incorporate social distancing due to the pandemic. This will enhance the docks market within the region
The U.S. market is projected to witness strong growth over the forecast period and reach a market value of USD 0.68 billion in 2030 on account of the rise in the use of shipping for the movement of products and goods across regions. Additionally, space productivity is expected to lead to waterfront redevelopment activities thus positively influencing the docks market
The docks market is competitive in nature owing to the presence of several players that are primarily consolidated in the Asia Pacific and North America, whereas Europe exhibits a limited presence of established players. The changing lifestyle needs of the population, especially the younger section, towards activities such as adventure sports has also led to the rise in the use of boats and ships. This has also led to an increase in the use of floating docks across the globe

Velvet: *smirking* So? How did it go?
Russel: *smiling* Oh she loved the idea! I didn't know there was an insectarium in Vale! She really liked the exhibition on the Hymenoptera order. Cinder: *blinking* How did he- What the- But we aren't even at half the dust we need! And he just left!?
Mercury: Well, he did say he wouldn't help with Beacon destruction since that wasn't the original plan. He thought we were going to sell the stuff to the black market. That, he doesn't care for.
Cinder: *groan, thinking about all the logistical problems that are now presenting themselves* Guess we'll have to BUY the explosive then. We won't be able to destroy the Amity colosseum, but that was just a secondary objective.

🔻NEW OFFICIAL BOYCOTT TARGET🔻
Palestinian BDS National Committee:
Coca-Cola: Quenching “Israel’s” genocidal soldiers’ thirst
1) Why?
Because Coca-Cola is implicated in “Israeli” war crimes.
According to research by WhoProfits (https://www.whoprofits.org/companies/company/4081?the-central-bottling-company-cbc-coca-cola-israel), (https://www.whoprofits.org/companies/company/4081?the-central-bottling-company-cbc-coca-cola-israel) the Central Beverage Company, known as Coca-Cola “Israel”, which is the exclusive franchisee of the Coca-Cola Company in “Israel”, “operates a regional distribution center and cooling houses in the [Israeli] Atarot Settlement Industrial Zone.” Furthermore, its subsidiary, Tabor Winery, “produces wines from grapes sourced from vineyards located on occupied land in settlements in the West Bank and Syrian Golan.”

DAY 6274
Jalsa, Mumbai Aopr 20, 2025 Sun 11:17 pm
🪔 ,
April 21 .. birthday greetings and happiness to Ef Mousumi Biswas .. and Ef Arijit Bhattacharya from Kolkata .. 🙏🏽❤️🚩.. the wishes from the Ef family continue with warmth .. and love 🌺
The AI debate became the topic of discussion on the dining table ad there were many potent points raised - bith positive and a little indifferent ..
The young acknowledged it with reason and able argument .. some of the mid elders disagreed mildly .. and the end was kind of neutral ..
Blessed be they of the next GEN .. their minds are sorted out well in advance .. and why not .. we shall not be around till time in advance , but they and their progeny shall .. as has been the norm through generations ...
The IPL is now the greatest attraction throughout the day .. particularly on the Sunday, for the two on the day .. and there is never a debate on that ..
🤣
.. and I am most appreciative to read the comments from the Ef on the topic of the day - AI .. appreciative because some of the reactions and texts are valid and interesting to know .. the aspect expressed in all has a legitimate argument and that is most healthy ..
I am happy that we could all react to the Blog contents in the manner they have done .. my gratitude .. such a joy to get different views , valid and meaningful ..
And it is not the end of the day or the debate .. some impressions of the Gen X and some from the just passed Gen .. and some that were never ever the Gen are interesting as well :
The Printing Press (15th Century)
Fear: Scribes, monks, and elites thought it would destroy the value of knowledge, lead to mass misinformation, and eliminate jobs. Reality: It democratized knowledge, spurred the Renaissance and Reformation, and created entirely new industries—publishing, journalism, and education.
Industrial Revolution (18th–19th Century)
Fear: Machines would replace all human labor. The Luddites famously destroyed machinery in protest. Reality: Some manual labor jobs were displaced, but the economy exploded with new roles in manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and management. Overall employment and productivity soared.
Automobiles (Early 20th Century)
Fear: People feared job losses for carriage makers, stable hands, and horseshoe smiths. Cities worried about traffic, accidents, and social decay. Reality: The car industry became one of the largest employers in the world. It reshaped economies, enabled suburbia, and created new sectors like travel, road infrastructure, and auto repair.
Personal Computers (1980s)
Fear: Office workers would be replaced by machines; people worried about becoming obsolete. Reality: Computers made work faster and created entire industries: IT, software development, cybersecurity, and tech support. It transformed how we live and work.
The Internet (1990s)
Fear: It would destroy jobs in retail, publishing, and communication. Some thought it would unravel social order. Reality: E-commerce, digital marketing, remote work, and the creator economy now thrive. It connected the world and opened new opportunities.
ATMs (1970s–80s)
Fear: Bank tellers would lose their jobs en masse. Reality: ATMs handled routine tasks, but banks actually hired more tellers for customer service roles as they opened more branches thanks to reduced transaction costs.
Robotics & Automation (Factory work, 20th century–today)
Fear: Mass unemployment in factories. Reality: While some jobs shifted or ended, others evolved—robot maintenance, programming, design. Productivity gains created new jobs elsewhere.
The fear is not for losing jobs. It is the compromise of intellectual property and use without compensation. This case is slightly different.
I think AI will only make humans smarter. If we use it to our advantage.
That’s been happening for the last 10 years anyway
Not something new
You can’t control that in this day and age
YouTube & User-Generated Content (mid-2000s onward)
Initial Fear: When YouTube exploded, many in the entertainment industry panicked. The fear was that copyrighted material—music, TV clips, movies—would be shared freely without compensation. Creators and rights holders worried their content would be pirated, devalued, and that they’d lose control over distribution.
What Actually Happened: YouTube evolved to protect IP and monetize it through systems like Content ID, which allows rights holders to:
Automatically detect when their content is used
Choose to block, track, or monetize that usage
Earn revenue from ads run on videos using their IP (even when others post it)
Instead of wiping out creators or studios, it became a massive revenue stream—especially for musicians, media companies, and creators. Entire business models emerged around fair use, remixes, and reactions—with compensation built in.
Key Shift: The system went from “piracy risk” to “profit partner,” by embracing tech that recognized and enforced IP rights at scale.
This lead to higher profits and more money for owners and content btw
You just have to restructure the compensation laws and rewrite contracts
It’s only going to benefit artists in the long run ‎
Yes
They can IP it
That is the hope
It’s the spread of your content and material without you putting a penny towards it
Cannot blindly sign off everything in contracts anymore. Has to be a lot more specific.
Yes that’s for sure
“Automation hasn’t erased jobs—it’s changed where human effort goes.”
Another good one is “hard work beats talent when talent stops working hard”
Which has absolutely nothing to with AI right now but 🤣
These ladies and Gentlemen of the Ef jury are various conversational opinions on AI .. I am merely pasting them for a view and an opinion ..
And among all the brouhaha about AI .. we simply forgot the Sunday well wishers .. and so ..
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
my love and the length be of immense .. pardon

Note
in a socialist state, what makes a capitalist a capitalist? if the state owns the means of production then how can capitalists who also own the means of production exist? sorry, i'm just a little confused on the logistics of this. do they both own it somehow?
well the proletarian state is not necessarily immediately capable of bringing all economic activity and resources under its control. wealth may be hoarded, it may be taken abroad. private economic activity may continue, even in an irregular fashion.
the petit-bourgeoisie, particularly in the agrarian sector, tends to continue to exist for some time under socialism and takes time to proletarianize. attempting a rapid forceful expropriation and proletarianization of these people may cause more harm than good by prematurely intensifying antagonisms that could be worked out through other means. particularly problematic if you are a country like the USSR or China built on the revolutionary alliance of proletariat and peasantry - the peasantry in question takes this role of agrarian petit-bourgeoisie, though they can be gradually proletarianized and their property brought under collective and state control
the bourgeoisie that has been expropriated may continue to struggle to restore capitalism, and due to the interconnected nature of the world capitalist system they have access to resources and connections abroad to help with that. i suppose this is not the main point of your question, but also to some degree some proletarians without a properly developed class consciousness can also join their side, particularly if they expect to personally benefit from it in some way. while the economic base is the principal aspect of the base-superstructure dialectic, the superstructure still exerts some degree of influence and has some inertia that can't just be ignored (and neither can foreign influence - the bourgeoisie of countries like the USA spend a lot of effort and resources in trying to foment counter-revolution in socialist countries)
in underdeveloped countries, the proletarian state may deliberately allow for the bourgeoisie to engage in a form of state-capitalism under the control of the proletarian state in order to develop the productive forces. this was the principle behind Lenin's New Economic Policy, and also the Socialist Market Economy of China
does this make sense? I'm not very good at explaining stuff

now, symbology apart, that scene makes me wonder::
what sort of contract or conditions does Lumon provide to those who, like Gemma, become experiment subjects?
like, how does it work in the moment? is there any kind of consent (or lack thereof, a constant theme in the show), do they contact ahead of anything happening, or do they just take the most recent, unclaimed corpses at their local hospitals?? is there like a fine print thing whenever you buy ANYTHING Lumon that waives your rights and self-governance to them, should something happen to you within any of their properties? it can't just be normal abducting, right? RIGHT???
see, they clearly have different levels of both involvement and operations within the Kier Cult - some people see them as pretty inocuous while others literally worship Kier - but basically everyone working for them has some sort of vital involvement with the company in their own personal lives (tragedy, being raised by them, some sort of spiritual-self-help platform they followed, like the Chikhai bardo thing).
they provide housing, and education, entertainment, spiritual guidance and healthcare, basically anything under the sun. they're pretty well known. at least the whole town of Kier is under their control in every possible aspect, and it's not surprising to the people there (Devon casually mentions it).
they probably have like several different front companies, but people eventually come to know that, right? like the thing with Touchstone Pictures and Disney, same management. if there's a connection people tend to find out. and there ARE connections - Pip's, the cards Gemma has, the medical equipment, the schools, the neighbourhoods - at some point someone has to notice something, but maybe at that point they're too far into it to back away or come out alive.
idk. i'm just so curious to how all of that operates, logistically. if there's an ulterior motive i guess that's fine, but i just want to know how the waste management, or the transport people, or the cops, go around doing their jobs without anyone asking weird questions like "wait a second why are you taking these four unconscious adults into the wilderness?" or "did you see where i put the corpse i just took out of that car?" or even something like "why would the Lumon building take so much energy from the grid? even with the underground floors, this seems rather excessive for just an office building". do they not have OSHA inspections? external audits?? not even a someone's-mom down the command chain that knows whoever made those fancy coats and hats from episode 4 and thinks that was a weird order to make???
whatever they do at Lumon, they do it selectively, and with very thourough, bullet-proof covers. otherwise there wouldn't be any sort of resistance (if you can call the Whole Mind Collective that), because no-one would suspect anything if they all agree with Lumon's thing in the first place!
my other option is that they thrive in being lowkey and forgettable. we're talking zero publicity and association to the social causes they manage, great compensation packages and settlements so there's no possible conflict anywhere, no flashy products or logos, even feigning mediocrity at some point. like, they wouldn't release the best products out there but also not the worst. i'm talking duping something by another brand, and they probably wouldn't market it anyways, like drug store, or store brand makeup you buy because the official, famous-brand one is way too expensive and this one looks similar enough. and they do that with everything.
i bet they've mastered that middle-child level of forgettability as part of their own policy - and by the lack of public questioning and consequence, it certainly seems to be working.

Hiiii how about a prompt for Further Down Road One, political marriage!Shikasuke, maybe something from an Uchiha's POV on the Shikabane-hime's meteoric rise in power, international acclaim, and political capital? And how it ripples out onto the clan as a whole?
I mean, the point of Road One is that the arranged marriage itself already does SO MUCH to change the trajectory of the Uchiha clan’s fate for the better that, basically, everything else after that is kind of a bonus. The fact that Shikako’s smart and powerful and a good person is NICE, yes, but just being engaged to Sasuke already earned so much approval from the clan as a whole that it’s just kinda… ehhhh…
Although… and this somewhat of a tangent to the prompt… it would be funny if… okay, let me set this up by saying: I don’t necessarily like Itachi as a character. When he was kind of a psychopath and apparently just murdered his entire family to test his power, that was at least a… strength of will or conviction that kind of resonated thematically. Like, what if Will of Fire goes bad kind of thing. Or the pressures of being clan heir, of being pushed too hard and too fast, would lead to a genius of violence snapping and using said violence. Then when it turns out he was given orders to murder his entire family and his one condition was that Sasuke would get to live is like… what the fuck dude. It’s both backtracking to make Itachi weaker as a character and also, somehow, even more of a psychopath in my opinion. And, like, sure, Danzo maybe used Shisui’s Sharingan to unbreakable genjutsu him into it, but I don’t think that really absolves Itachi.
All that being said, theoretically in this kinder world of Road One, we never get to that point. Additionally, there’s less pressure on Itachi to continue to excel SO OVERTLY since the clan isn’t getting isolated and also because Shisui is still there and alive to share the burden.
BUT, I do still… the idea that the Uchiha elders have been wanting one of the clan to become Hokage is something that I hold to be true unless proven otherwise. I do think the clan elders would push more for Itachi to be Hokage—because he is clan heir and so has the pedigree, while Shisui (just as powerful, literally Flee On Sight in the bingo books at such a young age) I think we’ve fandom agreed is an orphan or at least a lesser branch of the Uchiha clan.
Anyway, all of the above leads me to: Shisui and Itachi trying to PR campaign for their sister-in-law Shikako (who WILL be an Uchiha once the marriage actually) to be the new “best candidate” for an Uchiha Hokage. Like, really just them listing off all of her accomplishments to not only the Uchiha elders but the rest of the clan (who, again, already quite like her).
I also think, in this universe, that Shikako would DO SOMETHING about Sora-ku once she feels a little more comfortable making decisions—or, at least, making proposals with attached logistics—for the Uchiha clan. Like. It’s a huge chunk of territory that seems to be an abandoned city. But it’s apparently functional enough to have a community of sorts of black marketeers and a support system. Like, it’s not so out of the way of things that nobody bothers with it, which implies that it could be rejuvenated with the time and resources. I think I read a theory once that it’s because Senju used their skills to desertify the area so there just wasn’t enough food to support a city of that size. BUT, now they’ve got Shikako. And Shikako’s connections. Whether that is the ANY clan alliance or Tenzo/Yamato or upper echelons of Hidden Mist’s administration (Haku is an ice user, yes, but like he and Zabuza wouldn’t throw a squad of Mist nin with water nature to help with irrigation at Shikako’s request for free) or even the literal oasis creating ancient god Gelel.
So, you know, she’s more than proven herself to the world. And with the Sora-ku rejuvenation, already brought a level of prosperity to the Uchiha clan than they could ever imagine. “Shikako for Hokage” is not a hard sell for Shisui and Itachi whatsoever (and also, they do think Sasuke would be so happy as her First Gentleman/trophy husband)
Yeah, that’s kind of all I can think of for this prompt in terms of it being different than how the Nara clan or DoS canon clans for that matter would view her meteoric rise. Hope you enjoyed, anon.
