If it's HER show, I'll need to clear up my schedule for when she shows up. If I make the walls bleed and draw little hearts in the blood, is that coming on too strong?

In all seriousness, his attempts at making contact with Lydia and courting her, scaring her instead, is one of my favorite things in the sequel. Lydia terrified, meanwhile Betelgeuse out there swooning and sighing over getting to see her again 😂💚. He is definitely coming on too strong, but he so can't see it and it's hilarious.

I'm sure he did help her with the hauntings for her show, too. I hope that one comes up in movie three. No one can take that headcanon away from me. 😌

i love that i can tell exactly where the dalinar flashbacks wouldve gone if kowt wouldve stayed dalinars book. like all the Awful Parts of dalinar's life he's forced to relive. but because dalinar's NOT the flashback character we instead get rehashes of dalinar's most violent moments (but not necessarily his lowest ones -- we barely get ANY washed up dilf era for example) and the New Dalinar Life Info is like FUN DALINAR FACT! he couldnt get it up on his wedding night

Charlie & Lucifer

I think Lucifer sees himself in Charlie, she’s willing to challenge him despite him being the most powerful person in hell.

Our first impression of Hazbin Lucifer is the infamous phone call in the pilot.

He’s obviously against the hotel, and made Charlie insecure about herself when discouraging it.

This rift in their relationship could have started long before the hotel, Lucifer could have disapproved of her hopes for the sinners (either because he doesn’t understand it, or wants to protect her, or another reason entirely, I don’t have enough info just yet)

Which makes these scenes more interesting:

I’m not sure baby Charlie was having deep discussions with her dad about the future of the denizens of hell, but there’s obviously turmoil in the family. Just based on the glimpses we’ve gotten so far, I think Lucifer is trying but has no idea what he’s doing.

I think he’s afraid of what could happen as Charlie keeps going further down the path she’s chosen, because he walked a similar one before. We all know about Lucifer’s fall from heaven, when God (his own father) cast him down to hell. I think Lucifer’s going to help Charlie because he doesn’t want to repeat his father’s mistakes, it’s probably going to take a lot to get him to that point. Like a full revolution to make him realise he wants to support his daughter, but he’ll get there eventually.

Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are really driving home the message that communication is the most important thing in any healthy relationship- romantic, platonic, or familial.

I wonder if I’ll learn something from this…

so in HoO we get a totally unaddressed thing about the Hephaestus cabin apparently have an underground tunnel system beneath their cabin that they’ve been excavating for almost a century and haven’t found the end to yet. We never hear about this again. But when Jake Mason is explaining it, he jokes to Will Solace that “You Apollo guys can’t have all the fun,” which implies the Apollo cabin also has secrets.

Anyways I think we should just start headcanoning random wild secret areas of each cabin just for fun.

Did...did Rosalina make Rainbow Road?

OK so Super Mario Party Jamboree is the newest Mario Party game (at the time of this post releasing) and there are these character-themed minigames called Showdown Minigames. Rosalina's one of the 10 characters who has one, it's called Rosalina's Radical Race, and the first section involves snowboarding, nothing too weird. But then there's the second portion of the minigame, and UH-

DID SHE MAKE THE MOST ICONIC MARIO KART COURSE IN HISTORY?

I mean...it certainly looks like it!

They even play what I'm pretty sure are four notes from Rainbow Road's first theme (sped up) once the players reach the second part of the race.

I saw someone else in the comment section of a now deleted video (Nintendo works fast) claim that the music at the start of the snowboarding portion of Rosalina's Radical Race sounds like the music for Double Dash's Rainbow Road. I didn't catch that on my first listen (I've never played Double Dash, alright?) Look up the clip if you're interested, do you hear it?

But anyway, back to the lore implications.

You know, this makes some things retroactively make a lot more sense, like her reveal trailer for Smash taking place on Rainbow Road:

Even going all the way back to Mario Kart Wii, it would explain its version of Rainbow Road being heavily influenced by Super Mario Galaxy (other than, you know, cross-promotional synergy). It has Star Bits, a Launch Star cannon, both its course staff ghosts use Rosalina, it uses Good Egg Galaxy's theme as a countermelody underneath its own main melody, etc.:

nothing ever excites me more than a spontaneous genshin, or more particularly, mondstadt discovery. i sat diluc upon the barbatos statue as a nice spot to go afk on without being interrupted by repetitive idle animations and voicelines (sorry diluc, this is nothing personal). my volume was turned up more than regularly by accident, and my in-game music was off despite how much i like the original game soundtrack. aNYHOW- i was about to go afk when i heard some strange noises that i didn't recall hearing in mondt before. it made me pause and turn my volume up even more. in the video above, it's kind of hard to discern the brief sounds over the noise of the wind up on the statue and in mondstadt in general, but when the wind dies down a little, you can distinctly hear voices of people, and what shocked me the most – neighs of horses. i have no clue whether it is just me discovering this only now, after 4 years of playing this godforsaken game and clearly not having paid enough attention to mondstadt's sfx before, but i still felt the need to share this terribly interesting tidbit in case there's other clueless mondstadt enthusiasts like me.

little baby Jemima knew how to communicate with her powers before she could properly speak.

when Demeter would tuck her in for bed she’d hear the faintest sound resembling a voice saying “goodnight” to her and she'd stand there momentarily baffled thinking she was hearing things.

Until it kept occuring, a faint little voice that wouldn't say much more than a word or two every now and again. It always happened when Jemima was around, but Jemima’s lips never moved. When she wasn't alone and heard it Demeter tried to ask if anyone else could hear it, but they couldn't. So, Demeter allowed herself to think it was just in her head, a funny occurrence, or perhaps a manifestation of wishing her daughter could respond to her.

But part of her still believed that wasn't the case, and it wasn't too long until she was proven right. Bombalurina visited Demeter’s den often, practically daily when she knew Demeter wouldn’t be going out. But she’d keep on swearing she heard Jemima say her first words, greeting her, or when saying goodbye, but Demeter claimed she heard nothing at all.

Demeter only started taking this especially seriously when Alonzo had brought up similar claims of what sounded like a younger voice trying to speak with him. Saying things that happened to sync up with what the little kitten was doing.

Which eventually led them to suspect she inherited some sort of magic but old Deuteronomy only confirmed that later on.

Demeter was partially concerned, she worried if Jemima inherited anything else from her father, anything more sinister. That fortunately wasn’t the case, and Jemima eventually did communicate verbally, but Demeter always wanted her to have some air of caution toward her abilities.

Away from the backstory of it all, and focusing on the In-show context for my little interpretation:

In “Memory” when Jemima starts singing with Grizabella no one reacts to her or even acknowledges Jemima’s singing at all.

I'm not saying it's completely out of character at this point in the story for the jellicles to prohibit her from singing with Grizabella, but you’d think they’d at least turn around momentarily to see what was happening.

I know you can only see Alonzo in the clip, but everyone is in the same lane as him, (atleast in most productions I’ve watched) they’re only looking at Griz as if Jemima isn't singing at all. This leads me to think Jemima is singing to Griz in a way that only Grizabella can hear. In her mind.
