I love you, Crowley.

The first time Aziraphale says these words, they are nothing more than a whisper. They feel like a trembling breath brushing against Crowley's ear, quiet enough to be missed, loud enough to send Crowley's heart racing. Rather than hearing them, Crowley senses them in Aziraphale’s desperate embrace, in the way his fingers cling to the fabric of Crowley’s shirt as though letting go might mean losing him again. Aziraphale walks that thin line between deniability and confession, torn between the lingering fear of discovery and the longing to embrace their connection openly. Crowley swallows, not sure if he's meant to have heard the words or pretend that he hasn’t. He settles for the middle ground, tightening his arms around Aziraphale in a wordless reply, as easily deniable as Aziraphale’s faint, almost inaudible whisper.

Months later, in the privacy of the bookshop, Crowley hears the words again. His head rests in Aziraphale’s lap, tender fingers stroking through his hair, affectionate, devotional. Aziraphale smiles down at him, his voice soft but filled with a quiet determination that sends a shiver down Crowley’s spine. There is no room for deniability this time, neither in Aziraphale’s voice nor in the look on his face. The best part is that Aziraphale doesn’t even seem to be trying to hide anything. Crowley smiles, unguarded, and slides a hand to the back of Aziraphale’s neck to pull him down, savouring the taste of those words on Aziraphale’s lips.

The next time, the words carry a proud confidence, a declaration for everyone to hear. It's hardly a coincidence that Aziraphale chooses their friends' very first visit to their cottage to say them again, almost as if he wants as many people as possible to know. He takes Crowley's hand, making sure that his confession sounds louder than all the times he had to deny Crowley, louder than He's not my friend, louder than I don’t even like you. And Crowley doesn’t bother to hide his answering smile behind a mask of demonic indifference.

Crowley knows they'll never be forced to return to secretly whispered words again. But in the quiet nights they spend together at their cottage, they might choose to.

of Aziraphale using “our” - a possessive pronoun - meaning belonging to us

of Crowley using “us” - an object pronoun - meaning the speaker referring to themselves and at least one other person

(thinking that Aziraphale already thought they were an “us” - that “i thought we carved it out for ourselves” “so did i” was way more telling of their current relationship - that Crowley was the more unsure one)

The ex-Supernatural fans that are into Good Omens (whether while they were in the fandom or after) are actually wild. Like. Who else would be going and freaking out this much about the gay angel? The gay angel going to superheaven; after being confessed to, a superlative opposite to Castiel's confessing to Dean superhell?

And as one of these fans (who immediately thought of Nov 5 when I watched the last episode), I say bravo, my friends, bravo. We are not okay enough for this, are we?

I don't understand why people feel betrayed when a famous person turns out to have cheated on their partner. You don't know them personally, and all you have the right to criticise should always be their art. Unless they are an abuser, or a person whose political ideology harms parts of the population, is their personal and romantic life really that important? Do you know if the marriage was good? Do you know the situation behind the betrayal? Or the way it happened? Or if it happened once or multiple times? No! Why? Because it doesn't matter to you. And sure. Cheating is the stupidest thing ever and it should not happen. Like, communication in the couple should exist always and if you want to sleep with other people, you say it and open the relationship or put an end to it. But gosh, some of you put cheating at the same moral level of some other more cruel stuff a person could do. Be real.

The other day, the window AC unit began leaking water. Thought it might be an issue with the filter being clogged, so cleaned it off and things got better. Then last night it was leaking even worse than before. Looked up some solutions. Without pulling it out of the window, the options are basically ‘lean out of the neighboring window and try to see if the drain is clogged’ or ‘prop it up such that it leans back farther so any leaks will be outside rather than in’.

The good news is, after propping it up a bit on a stack of nail files that were convenient, it seems to be draining outside again.

The bad news is, I did try to get a look at the drain from the neighboring window, pushing the screen out and holding on to it so I could pull it back into place, but I saw a large spider about .005 inches from my face while trying to lean out far enough to see anything, startled, jumped, hit my shoulders on the windowsill, and dropped the screen. Watched it fall, slide down the 3rd story roof, and go over the side. 

With luck, it will be recoverable in the front yard and not stuck on the 2nd story roof or something, but that’s gonna have to wait until there’s more daylight and people are more awake before I go stomping up and down the stairs to find out.
