do you happen to have any psds saved for the cat skins? i love how high quality yours are and would like to make my own custom patterns, i understand if not tho!

I will not be releasing the psds as they are, because they're large files and they are not set up in a way that would make them easy for someone else to use. They're also 100% painted from scratch and I'll admit to feeling kind of protective over them, since releasing a template for recolors pretty much immediately relinquishes any further control over what's done with them. I could see maybe releasing a template for personal use in the future but I'd need to think about how I'd want to go about that and reorganize the layers etc into something easier to parse.

#like I can write as detailed a TOU as I want but it's effectively an honor system #I can't actually DO anything if somebody paywalls a thing they made with/for the digilegs all I can really do is be like 'please do not'#in the case of the digilegs it's worth it #because those were designed from the start to be versatile and modular and I want them to function as a tool for cc cross-compatibility #the feline skins were mainly a thing I made for myself and my own ocs that got unexpectedly popular #so I feel a bit different about them #forgive me if this is rambling I have a migraine right now but if I don't answer now I WILL forget about it for a month #no I should not be on my laptop with a migraine but I am. bored #I have the brightness all the way down #if I just stopped everything I was doing every time i got a migraine I'd have to do that too much

Saw on my dash how “x is allowed to exist, but y is not.”

And. Hoo boy. No. No “x” is NOT allowed to exist. If I say I’m asexual, I’m expected to also be 0% Romantic Aromantic Asexual. If I describe what I would want in a romantic relationship, I’m told it’s “just” a friendship. If I describe my demiromanticism, that’s just a “good head on my shoulders” or has people suspicious I’m only friends with them to date them—neither is true. I can and will sit with romantic feelings that ONLY develop when someone is SAFE platonically indefinitely. But also demiromanticism is not “Aromantic Enough” and therefore I’m not “Aroace Enough”. Asexuality and dating? Either you break your boundaries or the other person feels physically neglected or you can’t have exclusivity. Dating apps? Free ones do not include asexuals with the full features—it’s either a trial period or essentially a paying Allo has to approach YOU—with maybe the exception of Tinder. Paid service apps that include or are for asexuals are few and far between.

Remind me how romantic/grey&demi aromantic asexuals are so “accepted.” Because this isn’t even getting into the constant allonormative messaging. This is just the practicality of when an asexual falls in love, wants to date someone, or would like to try experiencing either.

One of the biggest problems with trying to do custom Figmas (and trust me, there are many) is that sometimes I'll get my hand on a really nice doll and I'll be like "Frick. I don't even like this series but this is too nice to Frankenstein for my project."

#i talk #ITS A STRUGGLE #This one was an actual steal of a deal but holy frick it's got the best articulation / range of motion of literally any Figma I've ever had #it's a shame it's from frickin SAO I cannot STAND that series #I was thinking ''this is great I can easily butcher this thing with no remorse'' but no #it's just a really good Figma #It's also not compatible with the parts I was planning to use it for HOWEVER! I'm going to try and do a mold for the hair #because it's got great hair texture and I don't trust my ability to do that #Now it's time to learn how to do molds for dolls....#so much to learn just for a few simple Figma customs...#This all started with the frickin Richas figma and then it spiraled into harder and harder projects #I haven't even finished Richas because painting his skin wound up being a bigger issue than I thought #But I think I have a better method now #I don't have the ventilation to do it though so I'm dragging my feet waiting to haul my tools over to Tio's house eventually to keep workin #I don't have time to do much of anything these days though #so it's been more of an ''accumulate parts'' process the past few weeks
