Had a groovy time at Cobb's Comedy Club on January 26th. We saw Hanging with Doctor Z Live! It's Dana Gould dressed as kind of a swinging 70s talk show host version of Planet of the Apes character Dr Zaius. You can't see this particular show on YouTube but there are several fun episodes of Hanging with Doctor Z there....check it out! 🦧❤️

The Penguin (2024) S01E01 "After Hours"

Batman Returns was excoriated at the time for being "too dark" - to be fair, it is exceptionally dark thematically for a 90s popcorn blockbuster - but it's also a film that features an army of penguins with rockets strapped to their back. Meanwhile we're in a timeline where studios think it would fatally compromise the Gritty Darkness of Batman if the Penguin's last name is "Cobblepot". And the resulting Batsman films are still nowhere near as dark as the movie with rocket penguins
