Sure, Sam’s eyebrows shoot to his hairline once Dean starts losing patience and rifling through Cas’s pockets whenever Cas can’t find something.
But they practically jump off his head and shoot up to the clouds when Dean starts storing his own shit in Cas’s pockets. Receipts, spare change, gloves, pens, knives, other random weapons, pamphlets, folded-up restaurant menus, maps, knickknacks, his own fucking wallet.

The Prince of Asturias, the Future Charles IV
Artist: Anton Raphael Mengs (German, 1728–1779)
Date: 1766
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Collection: Museo del Prado, Madrid, Spain
Description: Español: Retrato del príncipe de Asturias Carlos de Borbón (1748-1819), que fue hijo del rey Carlos III de España y llegaría a reinar en España como Carlos IV.
This portrait of Charles IV as the Prince of Asturias has as its pendant a portrait of his wife, María Luisa of Parma , also in the Museo del Prado. Anton Raphael Mengs had come to Spain in 1761 at the invitation of Charles III in order to serve as painter de camara , or court painter, the most prestigious appointment for an artist in the service of the king. He probably produced this canvas and its companion in 1765 as wedding portraits, for it was in that year that the prince and princess were married.
The 17-year-old prince stands elegantly, using his shotgun as a support. He wears a gray coat, black leather riding boots and the insignia of his superior status: on his breast is the insignia of the Order of the Golden Fleece , as well as those of the military orders of the Holy Spirit (which was due to the prince as a member of the House of Bourbon ) and Saint Januarius —the order founded by his father in 1738 as King of Naples and the Two Sicilies to celebrate his marriage to Maria Amalia of Saxony . Hunting on horseback, once the sole preservation of the monarchy, was no longer restricted to the royals in the eighteenth century. However, emblems of royal power persisted in iconographic representations of the hunt, which included the deer, in whose pursuit the prince's valor and firmness would be tested, or the dog that, in images of kings and princes, symbolized the loyalty of their subjects.
Charles IV was born in 1748 in Portici , Naples , and could therefore be considered a foreigner under Spanish law. As such, his right to the throne could theoretically have been challenged, yet here he is presented as the natural heir to the Crown and, together with his wife, the guarantors of the dynasty's preservation in the future.

A Couple in a Landscape
Artist: Thomas Gainsborough (English, 1727–1788)
Date: c. 1753
Medium: OIl on Canvas
Collection: Dulwich Picture Gallery, London
A Couple in a Landscape
This pastoral scene, infused with a warm glow of late summer, provides the setting for an enigmatic portrait of a young couple. Known as a conversation piece, this small-scale work pays equal attention to the character of the ancient tree as to the likenesses of the figures resting beneath its boughs. The gnarled trunk of the aged oak is central to the composition, framing the woman under an outstretched branch, the shape of which is mirrored by a twisted twig or root on the ground below.
The English artist Thomas Gainsborough has depicted the young couple resting against a wooden fence on the edge of a field. The ripening corn glimpsed to the left reflects the last of the summer sunshine, while the autumnal hues of the oak and the bare fields on the right show the progress of the season. There is a sense of relaxed familiarity between the couple, their synchronised crossed feet and buckled shoes both pointing in the same direction. The woman engages the viewer with a half-smile, holding a drawing in one hand and a crayon in the other – perhaps the implements of an amateur artist. Standing out against the earth tones of the landscape setting, the man’s formal dark coat and red waistcoat are perhaps more at home in a townhouse parlour than on a country walk. In contrast, the colours of the young woman’s dress are in tune with the natural surroundings, the light brown tone almost merging with the scrubby tussock on which she rests.

The Painter Francisco de Goya
Artist: Vicente López Portaña (Spanish, 1772–1850)
Date: 1826
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Collection: Museo del Prado, Madrid, Spain
Description
In 1826, the Aragonese made a quick trip to Madrid from his exile in Bordeaux to arrange his pension as a court painter; the Valencian master took advantage of the occasion to paint this effigy of him - undoubtedly the most emblematic of the genius from Fuendetodos -, destined for the Royal Museum, as a tribute and recognition to his figure, which would thus be consecrated forever within the walls of the Prado Museum . Goya poses before López seated in an armchair, with his legs crossed, dressed in a frock coat and greenish-grey trousers, a striped waistcoat and a ruffled tie. He is portrayed half-length, holding the palette in his left hand and the brush in his right, in front of a canvas on an easel, on which the dedication can be read. This portrait, in which Goya is eighty years old, is undoubtedly the most widely disseminated effigy of the brilliant Aragonese, even above his own self-portraits. For this reason, it is also the work that has given Vicente López the greatest fame , although more for the identity of the subject than for the indisputable excellence of its pictorial quality.
