What to do during Floods? ALLATRA warns

The world is on the verge of a climate catastrophe. Floods, which have increased sixfold in the last 10 years, speak for themselves: from 260 in the 1970s to 1,500 in 2014-2023! These are not just numbers, it's a real threat to life on Earth.

That's why ALLATRA, an international public organization uniting people around the world, is not standing aside. Together with the volunteers of the partner project Creative Society, we believe that saving the planet is a shared responsibility, and only by uniting efforts can we create a barrier against the impending catastrophe.

ALLATRA and the Creative Society operate in several areas:

Education and information. We spread information about the seriousness of climate change, its real consequences, and how each of us can contribute to solving this global problem.

Uniting scientific minds. We attract scientists and specialists to solve global problems, encourage cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of science and technology.

Floods on the planet have increased 6 times. If in the 1970s there were only 260 major floods in 10 years, then from 2014 to 2023 the number of floods increased to 1,500, that is, they increased 6 times.

During flooding

1. Evacuation. Evacuate immediately

if you receive such an order.

2. High places. Climb to high ground or the upper floors of buildings.

3. Avoid water. Do not walk or drive on flooded roads, the water may be deeper than it seems.

4. Safety at home. If you stay home, turn off the electricity and gas.

Flood caught in a car?

1. Don't drive through water. Do not try to cross flooded roads, the car may

be carried away by the current.

2. Get out of the car. If the water starts to rise, immediately leave the car and look for high ground.

Important recommendations:

1. Wear a life jacket. Be sure to wear it, especially on open water.

2. Avoid electrical installations. Stay away from power lines and electrical appliances.

3. Beware of landslides. In hilly terrain, watch for signs of landslides.

4. Use bright materials. To attract

the attention of rescuers, wear bright clothing, flashlights, or flags.

5. Stay put. If you are unsure about your

safety, wait for help on the spot.

6. Observe hygiene. Drink only safe water and wash your hands to avoid infections.

After the flood:

1. Avoid contaminated water. Do not enter flooded areas unnecessarily, water may

be contaminated.

2. Check safety. Before returning to the house, make sure it is structurally safe.

3. Report damage. Inform the authorities about damage and potential hazards.

On December 4, 2021, the world witnessed a historic event - the Global Crisis. Time for the Truth International Online Conference. This conference, organized by volunteers of the Creative Society partnership project, brought together millions of people from 180 countries, uniting them in a single aspiration: to change the world for the better.

According to Tatyana, a participant in the conference, "This was a day when truth resonated particularly loudly in 100 languages. Data was presented that shed light not only on climatic cataclysms but also on the causes of these cataclysms, which are escalating with each passing day. We heard irrefutable facts that stirred us, revealing the horrors of the consumerist way of life, which is the true face of modern society. But it was not despair but joy that was the dominant feeling during the conference. Joy that there is a way out, that there is a chance to change everything! Admiration for those people who are using this chance, who are making it a reality, admiration for the true heroes who are proudly bearing the banner of truth!"

Zhanna, another participant, notes: "Thanks to you, friends, today we can confidently say that the time for truth has arrived. I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who participated in the 'Time for Truth' conference for their courage and bravery, for their highest altruism, selflessness, to everyone who spoke out loud and clear about the truth of the modern consumerist format and, most importantly, who proposed a way out of the current situation: building the Creative Society. Large-scale Positive Activities of ALLATRA Volunteers and the Creative Society

ALLATRAL, an international public movement, and the volunteers of the Creative Society project actively inform the global community about climate change and the need for people on the planet to unite in addressing these issues.

We understand that only by uniting all people, scientists, and a scientific and technological breakthrough can we help ourselves escape this catastrophe.

Our volunteers are actively working to solve the climate problem, informing people about the importance of this issue and offering ways out of the current situation.

Recently in Uzbekistan, participants of ALLATRA's partner project - Creative Society- presented a climate report  titled 'On The Progression Of Climatic Disasters On Earth And Their Catastrophic Consequences' to the country's Supreme Mufti and the Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences. The report presents compelling information about the negative consequences of climate change and emphasizes the need for immediate action.

ALLATRA volunteers and the partner project Creative Society are acting on a large scale and actively!

On July 15, at a meeting with the Vice-President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, volunteers of the Creative Society project presented the climate report 'On The Progression Of Climatic Disasters On Earth And Their Catastrophic Consequences'. The Vice-President was very interested in the topic revealed in this report.

Italy has also not stood aside. Volunteers of the Creative Society project held information meetings in the Acropolis, where they told people about the climate problem and the solution that could save the planet.

We believe that only by uniting the scientific potential of humanity can we find a way out of this difficult situation.

UN: Global Urgency as Climate Collapse Sparks Action

  A Grim Reality Unfolds: Climate Collapse in Real Time

In a stark revelation, the UN World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has issued a provisional report indicating that 2023 is poised to break records as the warmest year ever recorded. Global temperatures have surged 1.4 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, setting off alarm bells for the planet's future. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres emphasized the urgency of the situation, asserting that the world is in a race against time to maintain the 1.5-degree limit established by global leaders in the 2015 Paris Agreement. Guterres, in a video statement released during the opening of this year's annual UN climate talks, solemnly declared, "We are living through climate collapse in real-time – and the impact is devastating."  

Witnessing the Unraveling: Melting Glaciers and Rising Seas

Mr. Guterres recently visited climate hotspots in Antarctica and Nepal, where he personally observed record-low sea ice and the startling recession of glaciers. The WMO's report disclosed a staggering one million square kilometers less Antarctic sea ice than the previous record low, signaling a concerning trend. Glaciers in western North America and the European Alps faced an "extreme melt season," contributing to rising sea levels. The report underscores the continued warming of oceans and the ongoing meltdown of glaciers and ice sheets, leading to unprecedented sea level rise.  

Climbing Greenhouse Gas Levels: A Ticking Time Bomb

Simultaneously, concentrations of heat-trapping greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide reached record highs in 2022 and continued to escalate in 2023. Carbon dioxide levels, in particular, stand at a daunting 50% above pre-industrial levels, with the WMO emphasizing the long-lasting impact, predicting a sustained rise in temperatures for years to come. WMO Chief Petteri Taalas urged immediate action, stating, "These are more than just statistics," and emphasized the need to limit the risks of an increasingly inhospitable climate in the coming centuries.  

Dire Consequences on Lives and Livelihoods

The WMO's report paints a harrowing picture of the real-world consequences of climate upheaval. From deadly Cyclone Daniel in Libya to devastating floods in the Horn of Africa and severe smoke pollution from Canada's forest fires, the impacts on lives, health, and livelihoods are evident. Throughout the year, communities worldwide faced food insecurity and displacement due to extreme weather events. UN Secretary-General Guterres stressed the gravity of the situation, stating, "Record global heat should send shivers down the spines of world leaders," urging them to take immediate action.  

Roadmap for Change: A Call for Urgent Action

Guterres reiterated his call on countries to triple renewable energy, double energy efficiency, and phase out fossil fuels. Encouragingly, the WMO reported a 10% growth in global renewable energy capacity in the previous year, led by solar and wind power. The UN chief pointed to the existing roadmap to limit global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius, urging governments to set clear expectations for the next round of climate action plans and invest in their implementation.    

COP28: A Critical Juncture for Global Climate Action

The 28th Conference of Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), held from November 30 to December 12 in Dubai, marks a critical juncture in the fight against climate change. Over 60,000 delegates, including UNFCCC member states, industry leaders, youth activists, and indigenous community representatives, are expected to attend.   Global Stocktake: A Temperature Check on Commitments The COP28 conference will feature the first-ever "global stocktake" to assess collective progress in cutting emissions and enhancing adaptation efforts. This stocktake will serve as a 'temperature check' on the world's commitment to the Paris Agreement, with hopes of catalyzing more ambitious and accelerated climate action.   Protecting People: Urgent Measures Needed Guterres emphasized the need for countries to go further and faster in protecting people from climate chaos. This includes ensuring universal early warnings against extreme weather by 2027 and establishing a "loss and damage fund" to assist vulnerable communities hit hard by climate disasters. Developed countries are urged to fulfill their promise of delivering $100 billion per year in climate finance, doubling the funding for adaptation efforts. The success of COP28 hinges on countries' willingness to use the global stocktake results as a springboard toward more ambitious climate action. Replicator: Trash Turns into Treasure! ALLATRA AHEAD!!

Imagine a world where trash is not a problem, but a valuable resource. A world where unwanted things don't pollute the environment, but are transformed into new, useful items. Such a world will become reality with the advent of the replicator and utilizer - a technology that revolutionizes our relationship with waste.

How does the replicator work? The secret lies in the utilizer - a device capable of disassembling any object into elementary particles. These particles are then used by the replicator to create new items. Goodbye, landfills! We will be able to recycle everything: from old clothes to broken phones, from plastic bottles to dust.

It's important to understand that elementary particles don't "remember" their former appearance. They have no smell or harmful properties of the previous object. They are simply "building blocks" from which any new things can be created.

This means that we will have unlimited access to delicious and healthy food! There will be no need to kill animals for meat. The replicator will be able to create any dish from elementary particles.

But the replicator is not just a revolution in nutrition. It is a change in our entire way of life. With the help of the replicator, we will be able to create beautiful clothes, furniture, toys, and many other things.
