yeah i dont have proof (except angela) i just Know. call it my lesbian spidey senses. disclaimer that those are MY headcanons, you can have your own opinions on those ofc

main characters:

brennan: bi (preference for ugly men... but i digress). she probably started exploring her sexual orientiation in college and came to the conclusion that she's attracted to every gender to varying degrees. she's probably tongue kissed angela a few times pre season 1

booth: cishet ally! ⭐️ he's a bit confused but he's got the spirit, i'll give him that.. bi wife energy start playing whenever he walks into the room

zack: gayboi with a bad case of hero worship for dr brennan. naomi from paleonthology made him realise this isnt really what he'd like to excavate, if you get the gist... ;) (ew)

angela: imo? bi, but it's up to anyone. canon queer and i'm very happy about it

hodgins: bi. putting my foot down on this one- to me, hodgela is bi4bi. one day early into the series angela goes "why is everyone so hot... being bi is so hard" and hodgins is like "yeah, tell me about it" and they have a Oh, You Too? moment

cam: distinguished (ex-disaster) pan. she's all cool and collected now but in middle school she was probably stuttering whenever she saw a pretty girl

sweets: pan. boykisser. i just KNOW. that man is not heterosexual. probably had a few boyfriends in high school too

aubrey: bi? preference for women but in an alternate universe he and sweets are a thing

goodman: token straightie along with booth except i actually like him even tho even tho he took a 2 month sabbatical and never came back

clark: bi. a bit repressed and only realised it after breaking up with nora but as long as he gets there it's fine

daisy: pan. absolute girlkisser. she has the wlw equivalent of whatever zack felt for dr brennan. swaisy is a disaster pan couple.

fisher: pan- and i wont have it any other way. he was 100% checking sweets out when he came over to b&b's in s8, so i like to think when hodgins asks sweets "what is it with you and interns?" in 9x23 he's including fisher

wendell: bi and in a lab au he's dating vincent thank you

vincent: english twink and i think he and wendell should kiss in the lab lost & found

arastoo: straightie but we still love him. pan wife energy since he and cam are married

finn: god, i have No Idea but i have a feeling he doesn't either

wells: aro, and maybe ace too, but fyi even if he wasn't no one would want him

jessica: ... i used to say lesbian but i kinda let the jaubrey of it all get to me... pan vibes perhaps? i'll have to think it over. in another universe she and daisy are a thing too btw

The worst decision anyone ever made in Bones (2005) was when Hodgins found the thumb drive with all the NSA info on it and instead of leaking it, he gAVE IT TO BOOTH... WHO WORKS FOR THE FBI?! 10 seasons of Hodgins radiating ACAB energy, down the toilet. I am FURIOUS.

And you KNOW that him and Angela could have leaked that in a way that would never trace back to them.

Dr. Brennan.

If you are an average joe she will sit next to you in silence, but if you have anything she particularly dislikes about you she will be very open with her criticism.

Agent Booth.

He’s the guy sitting and reading the newspaper with his legs crossed. He’d be smoking a tobacco pipe if those were still allowed to be smoked on subways.

Angela Montenegro.

She’s obviously getting very annoyed at the fact the train is moving while she’s attempting to draw, but is still unrelenting in her attempts. Draw–frustrated sigh–erase, repeat for the entire ride.

Dr. Hodgins.

He’s sitting on his phone while reading conspiracies on 4-Chan. He has headphones on but he keeps audibly reacting. You’re pretty sure that you just heard him say “that’s not where a submarine goes!” angrily.

Zachary Addy.

He is sitting and staring directly at the person sitting across himself. Doing nothing, maybe twiddling his thumbs idly. He’s not actually staring, that’s just where his eyes go when he zones out. He doesn’t react when spoken to, and doesn’t speak.

Dr. Saroyan, Dr. Edison, Arastoo Vaziri, Dr. Sweets.

They’re the ideal neighbor, casual social formalities if spoken to but will not initiate conversation. Probably using their phone.

Dr. Wick.

Keeps trying to spout off about her relationship problems, maybe show you pictures of her baby.

Colin Fisher.

Silent except for random quips he formed from a train of thought you were NOT involved in. Very confusing. Also very morbid. “Death is a lowly reward after all that life puts you through.” Without any context and not making eye contact. He also ‘man-spread’s very wide, it’s like his body doesn’t have enough energy to stay up.

Vincent Nigel-Murray.

He’ll try to strike up conversation multiple times, usually with random trivia. Only way he’ll stop is if you put in headphones.

Finn Abernathy.

He’s sitting and listening to music (with headphones) so loud that the person sitting across from him can hear the acoustic guitar, even over the sound of a train operating.

Caroline Julian.

She ranting about her current legal case. She only has 12 hours to get a warrant? For what? Oh. That must be difficult. Excuse me, why were you in front of a body covered in beetles? Oh.

A/N: Part 2 of Bones characters as dads.

Finn would be the most attentive dad ever. Hyper aware of all emotions at all times (even if he himself has difficulty sharing all of his emotions). He would be so excited to share everything with his kid(s) especially small things like favorite foods or movies.

Rarely gets mad - if ever. Really only gets upset when his kids do something dangerous or thoughtless.

He would want to document every little thing that happens. Yes this is his third baby photo album, no he doesn't have a problem. Finn just loves to bask in the little things. The small mundane things that he'll want to look back on when he's older. Every moment is a milestone and he'd want to remember it all.

Arastoo would dote on his children like his life depended on it. Small little trinkets, day trips, yes we can have ice cream before dinner but you have to act really hungry when we eat dinner.

He would would love to share the cultural and religious aspects of his life. Customs, food, his life before coming to D.C. Arastoo would not shy away from anything.

Arastoo would love taking his kids to the museums and the zoo. His kid sat firmly on his shoulders as they walk through every exhibit taking in all the tiniest details. Of course we can come again next week. Arastoo gets roped into being souvenirs every time they go, but he'd spend all the money he had to see his childs face light up.

Clark is wrapped around his kid(s) finger. Everyone would like to think he is the no nonsense stern parent, but that would be a lie. He melts as soon as the tears start pooling around the eyes, and the pout comes out. He'd like to think that this doesn't happen that often, but he'd be a liar.

Clark starts introducing his kids to academic concepts right away. He wants his kid(s) to question everything - always. He never wants them to lose their sense of questioning. It comes so naturally - he doesn't want to ever see that inquisitive light dimmed.

He does his best to answer every question he can, and the ones he can't he takes a mental note to research later. You see, the sky is blue because of blue light is scattered by these really tiny things called molecules. They are so small you can't see them. They get moved around by the air which causes it to look blue because is scattered more than other colors in shorter smaller waves.

Clark would totally bring his kid(s) to the Jeffersonian for a little show and tell. He would never admit it to Hodgins, but he always appreciates the time he takes to explain every little thing.

James "I gotta get one of those" Aubrey would be the funnest dad ever. Literally is still a child himself. Is always down to watch the newest animated movie in theaters. We've been over this, cartoons aren't just for kids. If I gotta bump elbows with some kiddos to see Shrek 5 then that is what I will have to do.

Always wants to do things with his kids. Video games? Pass the controller over this way. Random food craving? He'll grab the keys, they direct the way (he is never one to say no to food).

Aubrey always wants to hear the latest gossip from school. So you're telling me, Jacob pulled Mia's pigtails and she kicked him in the shin? Good for her.

James Aubrey may seem all soft and unassuming, but hurt his kid? He'll burn the whole place down. No one - absolutely no one, hurts his family. With his own issues with his dad, his number one priority would be to make sure that his kid knows he's not going anywhere.

Who is your favorite intern and why? I think mine is Clark or Arastoo.

Arastoo was easy to identify with and I love how much he loves and cares for his work and for Cam. He spends so much time trying to impress Dr. Brennan. He makes silly mistakes and sometimes lets his excitement get the best of him. He loves his family so much, but isn't afraid to stand up to them. He loves with his entire being, whether that be his friends, his family, his work, his religion. He loves with his full heart and isn't scared of the consequences of that love. Clark. I love Clark so much. He has been done dirty by the Jeffersonian SO many times, yet he keeps coming back and finds a little family there. He admires Brennan so much, but refuses to let her intimidate him into submission and stands his ground. He's so professional when we meet him, but slowly opens up more around and drops the professional boundaries as he gets closer to everyone. Arastoo trusts him to talk to Cam and comfort her when he's gone. And his relationships with Daisy and Wendell also appear close, and we even see him meet with Wendell outside of work. Never once does he think of doing a terrible job at helping get Brennan back in season 8. During the Ghost Killer arc, he does his best to tell Brennan that he is on her side and believes her, but that he isn't going to compromise any case that there may be just to please her. And how excited he gets about archeology and the new findings he's discovered while working at the Jeffersonian. He's just so dear to me.
