Impacting Lives for Christ: Serving for His Glory and the Edification of Others
Christian service and ministry should glorify God and edify others. Glorifying God means our words and actions reflect positively on Him (1 Cor 10:31). Edifying others means we help and encourage them in their growth and development as Christian disciples (1 Th 5:11). Because we cannot live what we do not know, it’s imperative that we study the Bible for ourselves (2 Tim 2:15), and also benefit…

The Pulpit and Evangelism:
Paisley gained recognition as a dynamic and fiery preacher, captivating audiences with his passionate sermons. His eloquence and fervor attracted a large following, earning him a reputation as a charismatic leader within the Protestant community. Paisley and the Troubles:
The Troubles, a period of intense conflict in Northern Ireland from the late 1960s to the late 1990s, tested the resolve of its people and leaders. Paisley, during this tumultuous era, remained unyielding in his commitment to his beliefs. While some viewed him as a polarizing figure, others saw him as a defender of Protestant identity and a bulwark against perceived threats.

Humble Beginnings, Grand Visions
Throughout history, our Lord has consistently chosen individuals who might appear to be the most unlikely candidates to shepherd His flock. Take, for instance, Gideon—a humble farmer who, despite his doubts, heroically led an outnumbered army to victory (Judges 6-7). His story teaches us that greatness does not come from worldly experience or pedigree, but rather from a heart willing to follow a…

The Paradox of Power: Leadership as Servitude in the Example of Christ
“What is a leader?” This question, seemingly simple, provokes a cascade of images and ideals. Is a leader the loudest voice in the room, the one with the most charisma? Perhaps it’s the individual wielding the greatest power, or the one with unmatched skills and talents? These common images suggest that leadership is about dominating, outshining, and enforcing. Yet, what if true leadership looks…

As a devout Christian leader in church, I skipped church for the first time. On the very first Sunday of the new year I skipped the church service to attend another church. I know how much my church needs me but I had to take a step for my journey with God, take a stand for the sake of my spirituality. I’m tired of being religious. I want to be truly devoted to God or not at all. I read scripture today In Matthew 5 which stated “let your yes be yes and your no, no”, in other words, be an honest person. I haven’t been honest over the past year. I have lied to God, myself and my church by continuing to serve the church in body but not in spirit. Today I decided to let my No be No. I felt a sense of relief but also a burden. The relief of taking a step that was needed but the burden of having to answer to why I wasn’t in church. I pray that weeks from today this will be a non-matter

Jesus’ Ascension and Session
After Jesus’ resurrection, he appeared to many on several occasions. His final appearance was to His apostles. Luke wrote, “And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven” (Luke 24:50-51). And in Acts we’re told, “He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him…

There exists a profound yearning within me to witness the growth of those particular aspects. Why am I not witnessing any progress? According to God, the timing is not right. Recover the Relational Commands (1 Timothy 6:13-16)
There is no replacement or surrogate work to the labor of investing yourself into others lives.
In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in…
