I know this poll won't be a representative demographic, because Tumblr, but I want to see how many Christians ACTUALLY abuse LGBTQIA+ people. This abuse, including verbal, is NOT good, Christian behavior, and is in fact the polar opposite of how we're supposed to behave.
I personally do use pronouns and otherwise try to show God's love, and I would provide physical or monetary assistance if I could/had any money myself/knew LGBTQIA+ people locally. (I've asked if my church does ministry/outreach but they didn't have an LGBTQIA+ specific one.)

Impacting Lives for Christ: Serving for His Glory and the Edification of Others
Christian service and ministry should glorify God and edify others. Glorifying God means our words and actions reflect positively on Him (1 Cor 10:31). Edifying others means we help and encourage them in their growth and development as Christian disciples (1 Th 5:11). Because we cannot live what we do not know, it’s imperative that we study the Bible for ourselves (2 Tim 2:15), and also benefit…

Many prisoners will tell you the worst part of serving time is the deep loneliness that wears them down day in and day out. It’s the devastating isolation. Fellow prisoners are not exactly “friends.” There are few people they can depend on or trust. Many are estranged from their families because of the choices they've made.
Prisoners long for connection. And the truth that they are not alone.
YOU can be the one to reach out and share the truth that they are loved! It’s never been easier…

The Healing Power of Service in Recovery
Integrating service into daily life can enhance recovery. Simple actions like volunteering at meetings, mentoring newcomers, or engaging in community service can weave a supportive framework.
Service plays a crucial role in the recovery journey from addiction or co-dependency. It fosters a sense of purpose and connection, helping individuals move beyond personal struggles. Engaging in service reshapes self-perception, allowing one to overcome self-doubt and guilt by supporting others on a similar path. This transformative practice not only aids personal healing but also strengthens…

He held numerous crusades in countries around the globe, including the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and many others.
Adviser to Presidents: Graham served as a spiritual adviser to several U.S. presidents, offering them counsel and prayer. He was particularly close to Presidents Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard Nixon. His influence extended beyond religious matters to political and social issues.
Founder of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA): In 1950, Graham founded the BGEA, an organization dedicated to spreading the Christian message through various means, including crusades, television, radio, and publications. The BGEA continues to operate today, promoting evangelism and discipleship worldwide.
Author and Speaker: Graham authored numerous books on Christian living, faith, and spirituality. His writings reached millions of readers globally and continue to inspire people with his message of hope and salvation. Additionally, he was a sought-after speaker at conferences, universities, and churches, where he shared his insights on Christianity and contemporary issues.
Interfaith Bridge Builder: While firmly rooted in his Christian beliefs, Graham was known for his efforts to foster dialogue and understanding between different religious groups. He met with leaders from various faith traditions, including Judaism, Islam, and Buddhism, to promote peace and cooperation. today I accompanied my grandma to the all saints' day service at her church. the choir is a mix of little old ladies and queer people in their twenties and thirties and I just think it's really special that these septo- and octogenarians are meeting and befriending young gay and trans people and they all stand up in front of the congregation together every week. also the kids always premiere their halloween costumes on all saints' day and do a costume parade through the aisles which is so cute and I feel probably not the norm at most all saints' day services lol. and the father of a family who is celebrating the two year anniversary of their immigration from zimbabwe this week came up and shared what the united church means to him and how he's so glad to have found it. and afterwards everyone had coffee together (which my grandma and I set up at 8:45 btw. two giant urns, three big tea kettles, and a hundred mugs) idk it was just so nice and I wish that the actual religious aspect of it did absolutely anything for me but it doesn't :/

i'd heard reverend oliver talk about this issue, but i know a huge issue in the coming days is going to be how much outreach and relief in appalachia is managed by christian ministries and if the left genuinely wants to help appalachia they will have to get used to that. how many times are people going to click on a link to donate to emergency relief and click away because it's a baptist church as a home base because "they have religious trauma" and "they don't know where that money is going"

A Police Officer's Struggle with Taking Lives: Overcoming Moral Injury
During one of my recent live streams, I had the profound opportunity to speak with a female military police officer from Turkey who is also Muslim. She shared her deeply personal struggle with guilt after taking lives in the line of duty. This courageous officer opened up about the immense weight she carried and her journey to finding peace and redemption. This isn’t just a story of personal…
