Sandy gets briefly married at 25 years old after having a whirlwind romance with a guy she met during group therapy. They get married after only 3 months of knowing each other, and divorce after 6 more.

It is perfect when they first meet- they are both vulnerable and desperate for connection, and she wants to move on and forget about all of the things that have happened in the past year. He is charming, extraverted, and incredibly sociable, if not a bit naive; however, her feelings for him start to fade as she finds out that he has a loving family and is living a stable life. She can't stand feeling unneeded or inferior, and she begins to feel agitated when she realises that he doesn't rely on her the way Stanley and Max did.

They both realise this wasn't the right choice and there are no hard feelings after they separate. They are both young (with him being even younger than her) and have their whole lives ahead of them, so it's not the end of the world.

Went to the doctor today (and I need to get a new PCP, I know, trust me I'm aware) and I mentioned like hey I think I might have POTS and was hoping we could do like a ten minute test today to see if that's a possibility.

They proceeded to do the test entirely incorrectly (it took less than three minutes and they started by getting me out of my chair and onto the table and immediately taking my BP once I was lying back, and that's just the start of it), and even then there were notable 5+ difference changes in my blood pressure based on how I was positioned, and this man had the audacity to be like oh yeah these are fine, they look alright, all good.

Like bro?!?? BRO!!

My diastolic went up six points when I sat up when I had been laying down for less than a minute and you're trying to tell that's not abnormal??? Healthy people should have little to no change in blood pressure based on how they're positioned, and I didn't even have time to actually lay back and relax and let my blood pressure calm down from having gone from sitting to standing to sitting to lying down, and there was STILL a five point difference when I sat back up.

What planet does this guy live on I stg.

Anyway, once I have access to the necessary equipment I am going to be doing a proper bedside ten-minute standing test.

Oh, and the reason I went to the doctors is cause I've had a cold since Monday and it's Thursday and I'm still suffering pretty severe dizziness and shortness of breath anytime I get out of bed or stand and it's meant I've had to call out of work all week, and all the doctor had to say was "make sure to hydrate".

That's all he had as input on the matter. Nothing else.

I freaking hate doctors. My doctor especially.
