To follow up with my last post, hereâs a video from last semester during my vocal recital of me performing the song âA Better Versionâ from 36 Questions! This is a different snippet than the one I posted a while back! I donât love posting videos of me singing, but Iâm trying to learn to be more comfortable with sharing my voice! Whether or not Iâm pleased with the performance, because itâs so important to still be proud of the work and progress youâve made!

A LITTLE LIGHT
i hope everyone who celebrates is having a great Christmas eve! it honestly doesnât even feel like itâs christmas tho :,) anyways hereâs a sappy holiday blurb!
The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, Star stood on her porch, the gift sheâd spent hours wrapping cradled in her arms. Across the lot, Chrisâs trailer glowed faintly with the light of a single window. It was beat up, like all the trailers here, but tonight it seemed more inviting than usual. Maybe it was the thought of Evelyn being home, or Lilaâs enthusiasm for the holidays, but something about it pulled her in.
Evelyn had opened the door before Star even had the chance to knock.
âHi, sweetheart!â Evelyn greeted her with a warm smile, her voice carrying the faint rasp of someone who had been through more than her share of battles. But tonight, there was a brightness in her that matched the twinkle in her eye. âCome in, come inâitâs cold out there!â
Star smiled, stepping inside and kicking off her boots at the door. The trailer smelled like cinnamon and pine, and for a moment, she felt as though she had stepped into a scene from one of those holiday movies Madison was always trying to get her to watch.
âMa, youâre supposed to be resting,â came Chrisâs voice from the kitchen. He appeared a moment later, wiping his hands on a dishtowel. His hair was slightly messy, as though heâd been running his hands through it while working. His eyes landed on Star, softening just a fraction.
âChris, Iâve been resting for weeks, Iâm not dead yet,â Evelyn shot back, already making her way to a box of ornaments sitting by the couch. She moved carefully, but there was a stubborn determination in her every step. âIf I donât help decorate this tree, whoâs going to stop Lila from putting all the ornaments in one spot?â
Chris let out a small sigh but didnât argue. Instead, he turned to Star, his expression softening even further. âHey.â
âHi,â Star replied, feeling a flutter in her chest she still wasnât used to.
âChris, help me with the lights!â Lilaâs voice rang out from somewhere near the couch. The six-year-old was already untangling a mess of string lights, her curls bouncing as she pulled on the strands with the determination of someone three times her age.
Chris glanced at Star, his lips twitching into the faintest of smiles. âGuess youâre on ornament duty.â
The next hour was a flurry of activity. Lila darted around the room, her excitement infectious as she insisted on showing Star every ornament she pulled from the box.
âThis oneâs my favorite,â Lila said, holding up a glittery snowflake with a missing point. âI made it when I was little.â
âYou were so much littler, huh?â Star teased, helping Lila hang the snowflake on a low branch where she could reach.
Chris worked silently but efficiently, stringing the lights around the tree with a practiced ease. Star couldnât help but watch him from time to time, her heart softening at the sight of him crouching to adjust the lights at Lilaâs height or standing back to admire his work with a faint nod of approval.
Evelyn refused to sit still. She was everywhere at once, hanging garlands, offering decorating tips, and reminiscing about Christmases past.
âChris used to hate Christmas when he was Lilaâs age,â Evelyn said with a laugh, hanging a wreath near the window. âHeâd complain about the cold and the noise, but the second the gifts came out, heâd be the happiest kid in the world.â
âMa,â Chris groaned, his ears turning pink.
Star bit back a laugh. âSounds like heâs always been a little grinchy.â
âNot always,â Evelyn said, giving Chris a fond look. âHe used to draw me Christmas cards every yearâthese beautiful little sketches of trees and snow. I still have them in a box somewhere.â
Chris looked away, busying himself with adjusting a strand of lights.
âDid he ever make you anything, Lila?â Star asked, smiling at the girl.
âHe drew me a princess last christmas,â Lila said proudly. âBut she had armor, âcause Chris said princesses donât need saving.â
Star glanced at Chris, who was still pretending not to hear. She couldnât help but smile.
As they worked, Evelyn turned to Star. âWhat about you, sweetheart? What does your family do for the holidays?â
Star hesitated, the warmth of the room suddenly feeling a little too close. She hadnât expected the question, and for a moment, she wasnât sure how to answer.
âMy mom passed away a while ago,â she said finally, keeping her voice steady. âAnd my dadâs⊠away for the holidays. On a trip.â She tried to sound nonchalant, but the weight of the words hung in the air.
Evelynâs face softened, her hand resting lightly on Starâs arm. âIâm sorry, honey. That must be hard.â
âItâs fine,â Star said quickly, forcing a small smile.Â
For a moment, the room grew quiet, the cheerful buzz of activity paused. Then, Lila broke the silence.
âsâokay, Star,â she said brightly, tugging on her hand. âYou can come over with us for Christmas!â
Star blinked, the sudden warmth in her chest catching her off guard. âOh, Iââ
âSheâs right,â Evelyn said gently. âWeâd love to have you.â
Lila leaned closer, cupping her hand to Starâs ear and whispering loudly, âChris already got you a present anyway.â
âBug.â Chris turned, his voice half-annoyed, half-embarrassed.
âWhat? Itâs true!â Lila said, grinning innocently.
Star glanced at Chris, who was now very focused on untangling a nonexistent knot in the lights.
âCanât wait to see what it is,â Star teased, her smile softening as Chris muttered something under his breath.
The trailer had transformed by the time they were done. The little tree sparkled with mismatched ornaments, glittering lights, and Lilaâs signature touchesâa cluster of candy canes in one spot and a crooked star on top. Garland draped over the windows, and a few candles flickered on the kitchen counter, their glow soft and warm.
Evelyn sat on the recliner, a satisfied smile on her face. âThis is the best itâs looked in years,â she said, looking around the room. âYou kids did good.â
Chris shook his head, pretending to brush off the compliment, but Star caught the faint smile tugging at his lips.
âIt looks perfect,â Star said, standing beside him. Her shoulder brushed his, and he didnât move away this time.
âYeah,â he said softly, glancing down at her. âIt does.â
Evelyn watched them with a knowing look, but for once, she didnât say anything.
They all settled down on the couch and recliner with mugs of cocoa. Lila climbed into Starâs lap, chattering away about how sheâd convinced Chris to let her pick out the tree (âHe said no at first, but then I looked at him like thisââ she demonstrated with wide, pleading eyesââand he said fine!â).
Chris rolled his eyes but didnât argue, sipping his cocoa quietly.
âI remember the year Chris tried to make eggnogâ Evelyn said suddenly, her eyes sparkling with laughter.
âMa, donât,â Chris said, groaning.
âOh, Iâm telling this one,â Evelyn said with a grin. She turned to Star. âHe was about thirteen, and he decided he wanted to make Christmas special. So, he found this recipe for eggnogâexcept he didnât have half the ingredients, so he just improvised.â
âIt was fine,â Chris muttered.
âIt was terrible,â Evelyn corrected. âIt curdled! And the kitchen smelled like spoiled milk for days. But he was so proud of it, and he made me drink an entire glass.â
Star couldnât hold back her laugh, and even Chris, despite his embarrassment, let out a low chuckle.
âDonât let her fool you,â Chris said, shaking his head. âShe told me it was the best eggnog sheâd ever had.â
âI couldnât crush your little spirit,â Evelyn said with a mock-serious tone.
The sound of their laughter filled the room, blending with the warm glow of the lights. For a moment, Star forgot about everything elseâthe cold, her empty trailer, the ache of her fatherâs absence. Here, in this small space, surrounded by this messy, imperfect family, she felt a sense of belonging she hadnât realized sheâd been missing.
Lilaâs energy finally waned, and she fell asleep curled up on the couch. Chris carried her to her room, tucking her in with the kind of care that always surprised Star. He didnât speak, but the way he smoothed her curls and pulled the blanket up to her chin said everything.
When he returned, Evelyn was already making her way to her room.
âI think Iâll turn in too,â she said, but not before stopping to kiss Chris on the cheek. âThank you for making this a good night.â
Chris looked embarrassed, but his smile lingered even after Evelyn turned to Star.
âYouâre always welcome here, sweetheart,â Evelyn said softly, squeezing Starâs hand. âDonât be a stranger.â
As Evelyn disappeared into her room, Star made her way to the door, Chris following behind her. She turned to say goodbye, but the words caught in her throat when Evelynâs voice rang out from down the hall.
âOh, would you look at that!â Evelyn said, peeking her head out of her bedroom with a cheeky grin. She pointed upward. âMistletoe!â
Star blinked, her eyes darting to the doorway. Sure enough, there it wasâa tiny, fake ornament hanging crookedly above the doorframe.
Chris groaned, his hand running through his hair. âMa,â he muttered, his ears turning pink.
Evelyn only laughed, retreating into her room. âGoodnight, you two!â
Star turned back to Chris, her heart pounding. He looked down at her, his usual guarded expression faltering into something softer.
âWell,â Star said, trying to sound casual even as her voice wavered, âitâd be sorta rude not to follow tradition huh?â
Chris hesitated for a moment, his hand twitching at his side as though he wasnât sure what to do. Then, slowly, he stepped closer.
The kiss was softâgentle in a way that made Starâs chest ache. Chrisâs hand came up to cup her cheek, and she leaned into him, her fingers curling in the fabric of his shirt. It was different from the first timeâless tentative, more certain.
When they finally pulled apart, Chris rested his forehead against hers, his eyes half-closed. âSheâs gonna give me hell for this,â he muttered, a small, crooked smile tugging at his lips.
Star laughed softly, her breath warm against his skin. âWorth it.â
Star stepped out into the cold night air, her cheeks still flushed. She made her way across the lot, the glow of Chrisâs trailer fading behind her.
âStar!â
She stopped, turning just in time to see Chris jogging toward her. His breath curled in the air, and before she could ask what he was doing, he was there, pulling her close and kissing her again.
It was rougher this timeâmore urgent, as though he was afraid the moment might slip away. When he pulled back, his voice was low and unsteady.
âDonât ever think youâre not part of something,â he said, his hand lingering on her waist. âNot anymore.â
Star stared at him, her heart pounding.
âGoodnight,â he said softly, his lips quirking into a faint smile before he turned and walked back to the trailer.
Star stood there for a moment, her breath visible in the cold night air. Then, with a small, dazed smile, she turned and went inside.

oh my god nina!!! 8 for the bedsharing prompts if it takes your fancy <33
thank you sweet peach this scratched an itch !!!
bed-sharing prompts: whispering âOh, you are going to be very embarrassed when you wake up.â
Eddieâs not oldâheâs not even 30, despite the near-constant jokes about his senior citizen-isms he seems incapable of shaking. And he wouldnât even say heâs a man of creature comforts. He just likes familiarity, and routine, and his own goddamn bed.
Quarantine has brought a lot of change: being away from Chris, living in a single-occupancy apartment with three other people, and sharing a bed with all six-foot-two of Evan Buckley.
Currently, this means waking up at some wretched hour and squinting in the moonlight filtering in through half-open blinds, because the aforementioned best friend has stolen Eddieâs pillow from right under his head yet again.
Eddie groans quietly, easing his neck out of the crick itâs cramped in. He glares at the enormous lump snoring serenely beside him and pats the mattress blindly for his pillow. Eyes adjusting to the dark, heâs greeted by the same sight heâs woken to at ungodly hours thrice this month already: Buck with his gigantic thieving arms wrapped happily around Eddieâs goddamn pillow as he clutches it to his chest, dead to the world.
âFuckâs sake,â Eddie mutters, reaching out and tugging the end of the pillowcase to no avail. Buckâs vice-grip doesnât falter even in sleep. Eddieâs usually able to coax it out of his grasp without waking him, but it takes a minute, and their last shift had been a full-body workout from hell, and Eddie just wants to go the fuck back to sleep with a single measly pillow supporting his exhausted head. Surely thatâs not too decadent a luxury to expect.
He tugs again, harder and meaner than he normally would. The pillow inches out of Buckâs hold, and Eddie grabs a firmer handful to yank it away, grunting triumphantly when it pops free.
âHrmmph,â Buck grumbles, crease appearing between his eyebrows. Eddie stills, holding his breath as he gauges Buckâs proximity to consciousness. He thinks heâs in the clear, but then Buck murmurs unhappily and rolls ever-so-slightly towards Eddie.
âSâyour turn to be thâ liâl spoon,â he slurs, and Eddie freezes even further. ââM thâ big spoon tânight.â He pats half-heartedly at the mattress between him and Eddie, jaw going slack again after a few seconds.
Eddie grins, just barely containing the snort that bubbles up at Buckâs sleep-talking. Thereâs enough distance from Ali and even Abby, post-train debacle, that means he can wring weeksâ worth of teasing out of this. Whichever one of them it is Buckâs dreaming of, Eddie thinks multiple nights of interrupted sleep allow him a little good-naturedâif mercilessâribbing.
He shifts onto his back, shoving the pillow under his head and shutting his eyes with a sigh, but the movement has Buck mumbling again. His face is mashed into his own pillow, words barely intelligible when he says, âYâre littler than me. Câmon, lemme be big spoon.â
The snort sneaks out of Eddie then, just a bit. He barely knew either woman, but he canât quite picture them indulging Buck in this line of conversation. Itâsâsweet, if deeply mortifying for Buck himself to know anyone else has heard it.
Buck snuffles discontentedly, forehead scrunching as he reaches out in search of the pillow, still asleep.
âOh, you are going to be very embarrassed when you wake up,â Eddie whispers, wondering if thereâs more entertainment about to be provided and if itâs worth getting up to unplug his phone and catch the tail end of this on video.
âUrgh,â asleep-Buck responds, patting the bed a little more insistently when heâs unsuccessful in his pillow-retrieval endeavours. âWhâreâcâmere. Eddie. Yâre liâl spoon.â
This time when Eddie freezes, itâs such a sudden locking of every joint in his body that his neck cricks in the opposite direction. He barely feels it, singularly focused on Buckâs latest garbled complaint, becauseâis Buck awake? Is Buck dreaming about him?
Heâs frozen so still he doesnât realise Buckâs questing hand is now well in range of Eddie himself, and he jolts back into his body when Buckâs strong, calloused fingers wrap around his wrist.
âCâme back,â he whines, tugging at Eddie while shuffling closer at the same time. Eddie holds himself carefully still, hardly daring to breathe as Buck slowly but surely plasters his long, long body along Eddieâs side, hitching one leg over Eddieâs thigh before flinging an arm across his torso and dragging him nearer.
âMm,â he hums, brow smoothing out. His cheek rests on Eddieâs shoulder, face smushed but seemingly satisfied. Eddieâs arm is trapped between his own side and Buckâs stomach, and he worms it under Buckâs body almost on autopilot, more to get comfortable than anything else. This leaves him basically cradling Buck to him, and Buck gives one final happy grunt before burrowing his face into Eddieâs neck and going limp, a dead weight over Eddieâs right side.
Eddie makes his fingers relax where theyâre clutching the back of Buckâs t-shirt. This isâfine. Normal and fine. So Buck isnât dreaming about cuddling an ex-girlfriend, heâs dreaming about holding Eddie. Theyâve been living out of each otherâs pockets more than usual recently, leaning on each other a little heavier through a global pandemic and missing Christopher. Eddieâs told himself itâs because of constant proximity, and maybe it is, but whatever the reason, if Buckâs subconscious is embracing that vulnerability in this way, thatâs fine. Heâs an affectionate guy, and while itâs relatively new for Eddie to be on the receiving end of that from another man, heâs not one to shy away because of someone elseâs archaic ideas of masculinity.
Andâhold on. Yâre littler than me? Was that what Buck said? Eddie huffs indignantly, and then huffs again for different reasons, feeling his cheeks heat. He doesnât know why, but he pulls Buck a little closer.
Itâs still normal and fine, he finds, turning his head to press his nose into Buckâs curls. That surprises him a little, that thereâs no freak-out of any kind accompanyingâwhatever this is. Buck smells like vanilla, because he used Chimâs fancy shampoo thatâs actually Maddieâs fancy shampoo because both of them are missing her something fierce, and heâs definitely drooling onto Eddieâs neck, and now that heâs not sleep-talking heâs back to snoring like a motorcycle, and Eddieâs slipping under before he can marvel any more at just how normal and fine it all is.
When the moonlight is swapped for sunlight, Eddie stirs to Chim singing along to radio in the kitchen downstairs. Buck blinks awake right alongside him, cheek imprinted with creases from Eddieâs collar and turning pink as he hastily peels himself away.
âOh, um, sorry,â he says, voice rough with sleep. He contorts his body in surprise trying to roll off Eddieâs arm. âDid Iâsorry, Eds.â
Eddie works his arm back under Buck, easy and deliberate. âSâfine,â he yawns. âIt was my turn to be the little spoon.â
In his peripheral vision, Buck turns a brilliant red, and Eddie gives him a reassuring squeeze before taking great joy in telling him just how embarrassed he should be about the contents of his dreams.
(Buckâs mortification is blessedly short-lived, since the contents of Eddieâs dreams are equally embarrassing in the very exact same way, as it turns out.)

At the top of the landing, Eddie came to a halt, a soft smile spreading across his face. Buck was sat on the edge of his bed, hoodie ridden up and exposing his tummy. "Who is going where with Eddie?" "Buck is trying the romantic Greek-Italian restaurant he's been talking about with Eddie tonight. That's why he's in such a hurry." Chim's jaw drops a little. "Is that the place that basically only has tables for two and where there's no overhead lights, only those little mood-lights on the tables?" "Uh-huh." Hen nods. "They're going to discuss which high school to pick for Christopher." Buck looks up and checks himself in the reflection of the locker room's glass wall. He grabs his bag. "We'll tell you how the food was next shift. Or Eds will. I think it's my turn to split with B-shift." He looks at his watch and curses a little under his breath. "All right, gotta go. Have a good night!" Buck hustles out of the locker room, leaving Chim and Hen staring after him. Chim eventually shakes his head and starts getting dressed. "I don't even know what to say to that. Is he really going to the hottest date location in town to talk about Christopher's high school options?" "Oh yeah. That boy has no idea." Hen sighs. "Neither of them do."

Buck glances at Eddieâs bedroom door one more time, almost like heâs willing it to open. But the door stays mostly closed and Buck feels himself deflate as he grabs his bag and keys. He quietly closes the door and locks it behind him, and heâs just about to turn the car on when he frowns and realizes that he left his jacket in the house. He knows heâll probably be back at some point tomorrow to get it, but he thinks about Eddie under all that mud. He thinks of his head on Bobbyâs lap and Eddieâs name on his lips, screamed into the air. He felt â He felt like his whole soul was being buried under the mud, and thatâs what scares him the most. Sighing, he gets out of the Jeep and decides to get his jacket, and if he happens to listen for any signs of movement from Eddieâs room for a few more seconds before he leaves again, then thatâs between Buck and God. -- Or, Buck lingers until he finally stays.

"I used to walk dogs too. Oh, and work in an old book shop." And yeah, there's so much he hasn't told Eddie yet. Maybe it's because Buck doesn't want him to know about the long nights spent sleeping in the backseat of the Jeep, and the loneliness and the fact that everywhere he went he just felt like he was going in circles, trying desperately to find a place where he'd belong. Happy Saturday wonderful fandom :) Ahhh the next in the line of goodies to come. This one doesnât have a ton for them but doesnât mean there isnât absolute gems in it. So it'll be a littler shorter than the last one ha Also Aaron is amazingly hilarious in this episode. I love him to death. Let us get started.
5x09 Take Back
We start off with Tim being Watch Commander while Grey is miserable in NYC ha Things get immediately awkward when Chris arrives. Still clueless as ever asking Tim of all people about Lucyâs taste in houses. I mean if you donât know her taste at this point should you really be buying a house together? Tim looks intrigued when he says he needs his opinion then it gets so awkward when it's about a house...
Tim is so very uncomfortable when he asks his opinion. Knowing this is going NOWHERE for Chris. Iâll never forget this hilarious post I saw about this scene after it premiered. I couldn't find it this time around. Had the lyrics from anti-hero by Taylor swift. âItâs me. Hi. Iâm the problem itâs me.â You ainât ever getting that house with her because of that man sitting there LOL Idk why that post made me laugh so hard but it did. It stuck with me clearly haha
Itâs so very weird Chris comes to Tim for this. It's obvious he knows Tim knows her the best. Crazy to me he's not threatened at all by that fact. Clearly he isnât if heâs coming to Tim for advice. Blows my mind how blind he is. Lucy comes in asking what theyâre talking about? Chris tells her he found THE house. Lucy looking as uncomfortable as ever at this news. Saying he's going to call the realtor and call her later. Lucy's high pitched 'I can't wait...' Couldn't be more awkward if she tried.
He gives her a kiss on the cheek and leaves. Tim giving that good ole fake Sanford smile when he does. Tim's face crack me up. Like he stole your girl and you have no idea you putz heh Also just so on brand for Chris to not see how uncomfortable Lucy was. Heâs been blind their entire relationship Itâs unreal. You can also see how much Tim hates seeing him kiss her. Even if itâs on the cheek.
Itâs almost a grimace really as he watches it. Probably thinking of all the ways he could easily kick his scrawny ass haha That fake smile begging for Chris to leave the room so this awkwardness can pass. How Chris doesnât pick up on either of these vibes I don't know. But then we call him the clueless clown for a reason donât we?
Lucy doesnât look comfortable till Chris leaves the office. Tim asking 'How the breakup is going?' HA Cleary it's going well Timothy...Lucy tells him sheâs in the planning stages. Just reviewing the literature. Classic Lucy response. Wanting to plan this out completely before pursuing it. Tim telling her a psychology journal isnât going to tell her how to break up with Chris. I mean he's not wrong.... It's just a bandaid you have to rip off even if its uncomfortable as hell.
Heâs so matter of fact with his wording. Using a sports metaphor to explain how she should do it. Makes me wonder if he's actually done this before? Ha Sheâs adorable in her reply of saying âPlaybill?â She truly has no idea what heâs talking about. Itâs too funny. It's comical really Tim giving her advice on how to break up with Chris. So you know he can date her haha
Tim has been very patient in all this but you can see him getting a little antsy about it. It is interesting how full circle this moment is. He set them up in 4x12 and now heâs ready to help break them down in this 5x09. Tim is just so ready for Lucy to do this cause heâs anxiously waiting to be with her. Itâs pretty damn cute if you ask me. Heâs trying to be patient but also is like can we hurry this along a bit?
Lucy says thatâs too cruel she wants to handle it her way. No matter how this goes down Chris is going to be hurt though. It's how breakups go there is alway someone who walks away more upset about it. Her empathy taking the front seat in this decision. Where Tim just wants her to rip the bandaid off. Get this over with ASAP.
This is where we see little bit of Timâs self doubt kick in. It's written all over his face when he asks her if she's having doubts? Worried sheâs delaying this because she is having second thoughts about him. About them. Lucy immediately squashes his anxiety with her reply. Shooting massive heart eyes his way as well. She wants Tim to know sheâs all in just like he is. That there is nothing for him to worry about.
I love how sure Lucy looks when she tells him 'No, I'm not'. She is so certain this is what she wants. Needs him to know this as well. Not a doubt in her mind about this whole thing. She just has stuff to work out with this breakup first. The certainty in her eyes is everything. Nothing makes more sense to her in this moment than him.
That confidence of hers is why Tim relaxes the way he does above. His whole body draining of the tension he was carrying. His cute smile saying âGood.â Could this man be more of a soft puppy for her? Look at him. That hope and excitement back in his eyes. Lucy replying in kind with her own 'In love 'gaze. Theyâre both all in and it makes my heart very happy. Also theyâre having a full on flirt session in Greyâs office for everyone to see.
I adore Tim being so open and vulnerable in this scene. Making sure she wasnât backing out. The same Tim who couldnât communicate in his other relationships to save his life. But with this he is checking in with her. Letting Lucy know his stress about her not breaking up with Chris yet. Lucy assuages his worries instantly. When itâs the right one the harder stuff seems a little easier. More natural. Lucy sensed that panic and instantly calms him with her words and heart eyes. Gah so good. Look at these idiots in love. I just adore them so very much.
This next scene with Aaron is pure gold. I love him so much he cracks me up. Never expected him to be as funny as he is. He notes how quiet she is being and is asking what's going on? Lucy letting him know she needs to break up with Chris. First off like to say we are all Aaron when he says âFinally.â To her breaking up with Chris. Yesssss and Hallelujah finally breaking up with the clown. Nails it even further when he says Chris was never on her level. I mean yeah he never was. Not ever.
Aaron is speaking for the whole Chenford fandom in this moment LOL Chris had nine lives with her and they've finally run out. Aaron's reaction is the best part of this scene. I love that he knew where Lucy's heart was and it obviously wasn't with Chris. He knows itâs with Tim 100 percent. Like most people in their world do. Tim is her equal in so many ways itâs insane. Chris could never compare as Lucy figured out last ep.
Aaron tells her they can practice her breaking up with him. So itâs much easier when the time comes. Itâs not a bad idea tbh. This is where it gets hilarious. Lucy brings up them looking at houses. Aaron kinda judging her for letting get as far as looking at houses. Telling her 'Yikes....' HA Tell us how you really feel my man. Lucy reprimanding him saying that is not helpful....Oh Aaron I love you so very much.
Lucy starts her speech trying to find her footing in what she is trying to say. She looks over at Aaron in the middle of it and see he is crying. lol If you didn't laugh at this scene you're dead inside. It's so damn funny. Lucy asking him WTF he is doing? Aaron telling her he is channeling Chris's pain LMFAO I mean he's not wrong she had to be prepared for an emotional response. It's just the way he went about this that is so hysterical. He is having way too much fun with this.
Telling her they should do angry next. I'm rolling. Lucy is doing some channeling of her own. She is channeling her man in this scene. Itâs so funny. So aggravated with his role playing in this. Wondering why she asked for his advice in the first place? hahaha They then get a call about a 'Navi'. Lucy is so confused. Aaron geeks out and says it's from Avatar. Tells Lucy she should ask if itâs full grown. The look she gives she is channeling her husband again so much. âAaron, itâs a fictional character...â LMAO
I really love this ending scene with them. Aaron wants to do one more practice run with her. Lucy tells him she doesnât need it. (Oh but you do....) That sheâs just going to go with her gut on this one. It sounds like a solid idea in the moment but it's honestly the worst thing to wing it. Especially when it's something this intense.
When something is this emotional the right words tend not to just come to you IMO. They sure don't for me. I love him being brutally honest with her about it LOL Saying itâs a terrible idea. That he likes the sentiment but this isn't going to end well. I mean heâs not wrong as we will see here in a bit. Lucy once again channeling Tim in this moment. Cutting him off from saying anything else and just tells him good night haha
We get to the breakup scene weâve all been waiting for. Lucy is bumbling and awkward. Not knowing where to start. Chris once again blind as a bat. He has no idea why sheâs acting this way. Lucy curses Aaron for being right about this moment. Saying she should practiced more LOL I adore her panicking and defaulting to Timâs playbook advice haha idk whatâs funnier that or her being shocked Chris knows what she means by saying that.
All that prep and thinking this out and she went with her manâs advice on how to end this. This makes me giddy to no end. I bet you itâs cause Tim was on her mind from the minute Chris entered the apartment. My guess is that is part of the reason she fell back on his advice. Literally the most Lucy Chen thing ever to use it then be surprised Chris knew what she meant. I love her sfm haha
Chris stumbles around shocked as hell sheâs breaking up with him. He seems so very blindsided by the whole thing. I mean if the man opened his eyes for once he wouldnât be that shockedâŠBut this Chris we are talking about. Lucy tries to get him to talk to her more. Saying they should sit down and talk this out. Chris just bails not wanting to talk at all. Not wanting to fight for her at all. Just takes off like a child who didn't get what he wanted.
Now Iâm ok with this. Obviously we all are. Just goes to show you Tim was willing to fight for her and Chris wasnât in the end. Lucy said it was over and he just left. I mean he wasnât wrong there isnât much to talk about out. She doesnât love him. But still no fight in him at all after Lucy does this. Just folds like a cheap suit. A clueless clown from beginning to end...
Weâve reached the scene of the ep that made us all swoon and squee. I remember feeling so anxious to get to this scene. I had to re-watch the episode to truly appreciate it all. I was too antsy to get back to them sharing a screen. I was so damn giddy this was the place we were in. They spent the majority of this episode apart. So all I could focus on was her coming back to him in this moment.
I adore Lucy coming back into the station to talk about the breakup right away. Needing to share this news with him as soon as she could. I love that she returned to work just to tell him about this. So anxious to get back to Tim after it was done. Lucy wanted him to know as soon as she could it was over with Chris. Knowing he was just as anxious as she was about the breakup. It's sweet how he tentatively approaches her when she says why she is back.
He wants to be understanding about it. Seeing if she wants to talk about it more. Doesn't just want to jump the gun and bulldoze her feelings about the matter. Lucy isn't there to chat about that though. She wants to cash in on him asking her out. Because she couldnât wait another second without him asking her out again. They're both so damn nervous and sweet in this scene. Fidgety and excited about the prospect of their future. Lucy messing with her hands the entire time as she explains the breakup. Tim keeping his distance while she explains it.
Gah I love her fidgeting near her ring as she approaches Tim. Anxiously awaiting for him to ask her out again. Lucyâs nervous way of reminding him to ask her again like they decided. How she looks into the bullpen before approaching Tim. Saying âSoâŠâ He looks nervously excited by her doing this. Eric the king of expressions strikes again. The way his eyes go to check the bullpen as well before refocusing on her. He isn't sure what she is going to do in this moment.
The entire station can see into this office. He looks so friggin cute in his nervousness. I love that that she makes him nervous like this it's so adorable. Lucy gains her confidence and looks him directly in the eye flirty as can be. Asking him if there's something he wants to ask her? The whole purpose of her returning to work is to secure their date. Telling him about the breakup was the catalyst yes. But truly she was wanting to hear him ask her out again.
Tim see's her confidence and starts shaking off his own nerves. Replying in a sassy manner. Their banter the undercurrent of this moment going forward. Fueling them with the courage to say what they want to. Tim can't help being playful and sassy with her replying âI canât remember.â Doing that cute smirk of his that I love so very much. Wanting to push her buttons a little because well it's Tim.
Lucy is affectionately violent in her reply haha Look at her she is beaming with adoration. She loves this goober in front of her so very much. âDon't make me hurt you.â Because she would legit hurt him if she had to in this moment haha I saw a funny parallel from this to her ripping that tape off in 4x07. She'll do it Timothy LOL Don't test your girl.
I love how he gets serious after she says this. It's the way he slowly moves towards her. That intent look on his face in the first one. *fans self* gah. Then in the second one the way he melts for her. In a way only Lucy gets to see. Asking with as much giddiness and excitement as I ever seen in this man. "Do you wanna go out on a date? Look at this puppy of a man. He is beyond excited to ask her this question again. Knowing now he will get a yes with no stipulations this time around. There is still a little nervous hesitation in his delivery which is precious.
Lucy is bursting at the seams with absolute giddiness when she replies âYeah. I do.â So happy he's asked her again. How one looks when the man they love asks them out. Thereâs so much to love about this scene. Heâs asking her out in the Watch Commanders office. I love that sfm. Both ecstatic theyâre finally going on a date with nothing holding them back now. Theyâre at work and have to restrain themselves from being too obvious. Which you know they suck at heh
My god anyone looking in on them in that last gif could see how in love these two are. They're so excited just to be around each other right now. The way theyâre just standing there looking into each otherâs eyes with the dopiest in love smiles. I cannot. I remember thinking the break was gonna take forever to get through. What a time to be alive watching this the first time I remember. LOL

Celina also has a hard time in the ep. With their suspect dying in custody. She has a tough rookie year.

Tea party
- little!tara x little!Matt x fem!cg!Reader
- when nick and Chris get busy and canât take care of their little, Taraâs cg helps them out
I was watching as Tara played with her tea party set with her teddyâs when I heard my phone ring, I looked to see it wa nick calling me.
âHey nick you okay?âI asked âyeah umm are you busy today?â He asked , he sounded in a rush âno just taking care of tara why whatâs up?â I asked his rushed tone making it sound urgent âmatts in his little space and we just got a call for a meeting but we donât wanna push him out of it so would you mind babysitting?â He asked â sure thatâs no problemâ I replied âokay weâre gonna drop him off on our Uber to the meetingâ he explained âdonât worry Iâll come pick you all up and take you to the meeting , tara and matt can sit together in the carâ I replied âreally? Would you mind?â He asked âof course not Iâll be there in fiveâ I replied.
âHey hon, wanna go pick up matts for a play date?â I asked âyay play with Matty!â She clapped
Once I got her shoes on, we walked out to the car âyou get in the back so Matt can sit with you?â I asked and she nodded, pulling open the back door and getting in, âyou buckled in?â I asked âumhmâ she mumbled, clipping the seatbelt in.
When we arrived at the tripelets house they were stood outside, nick made sure Matt got in the back and buckled in before getting in next to him, chris getting into the passenger seat.
Once I dropped off the two at their meeting , I turned to look at the little ones in the back âdo you want McDonaldâs?â I asked and they both nodded âokay letâs go thenâ I giggled at their excitement before starting the car and making my way there. I ordered them each the same, a chicken nugget happy meal and a milkshake.
I drive home, grabbing place mats for them both and small plates for their meals.
Once they had finished eating their food, they both got up from their chairs, tara pulling Matt over to the tea party she left in the middle of the room when we went out.âbe careful heâs littler then youâ I reminded her as she pulled him along behind her.
I cleaned the table, tucking in their discarded chairs and making my way out into the living room, beginning to tidy it up before I heard a thud come from upstairs and then crying, but it didnât sound like tara, I quickly realised it must be Matt, I dropped the surface cleaner quickly making my way Into taras play room.
âHey hey hey whatâs happened?â I asked making my way over to Matt who was sat on the floor, his cheeks wet form the tears falling from his eyes.
âT-tara dropped it on my fingerâ he whispered through hiccups âdropped what bud?â I asked and he pointed at the small wooden teapot, I picked it up to feel the weight and realised it barely weighed anything, meaning he was probably more shocked then anything.
âDid it actually hurt you or did it scare you bud?â I asked âscaryâ he replied, I brought my sleeve up to his face, clearing his cheeks if the tears.
âYou wanna watch a movie instead?â I asked and he nodded, I stood up and walked him over the the couch, putting on cars before realising I hadnât seen tara for a while, I stood up, matt had fallen asleep watching the movie, and made my way over the the playroom, when I couldnât see her anywhere I made my way out and towards our shared bedroom, the door was closed and I heard sniffles from behind it.
I quickly opened the door to reveal tara sat in the corner of our room on the bed, her knees tucked up to her chest, her forehead resting on them.
âWhy are you crying bub?â I asked and she looked up, sniffing as she whined her tears âc-cause you mad a-at at meâ she whispered âIâm not mad at you doll, why would I be?â I asked confused âcause I hurted mattâ she replied âno doll Iâm not mad, I just had to check up on matt to make sure he wasnât hurt but heâs fine, Iâm sorry I made you feel that way bubâ I explained and she looked up at me âso not mad?â She asked and I nodded ânot mad dollâ I confirmed.
âYou wanna come watch tv?â I asked and she nodded, we walked over to the couch where matt was still sleeping, I moved to sit next to him, he shuffled closer, laying his head on my lap, tara on the other side of me doing the same âwhat do you want to watch.âI asked Tara, as Matt had fallen back asleep âumm brats moâie pleaseâ she replied and I turned it on, after twenty minutes I received a message from Chris.
Chris đâ„ïž
- you want us to come get Matt on our way back??
Me- nah itâs alright heâs asleep he can stay if thatâs okay with u
Chris- fine by me đđ»đđ»
As the movie continued I heard soft snores from the other side of me, I turned to see tara also asleep, I turned the tv onto a dim light, locking the front door and closing the curtains before walking into mine and Taraâs room, pulling the spare mattress from the guest room and mine and Taraâs intro he living room, I picked them both up laying them each on one, neither of them walking up before laying myself down on the couch, falling asleep not long after.

Being at Disneyland has made my urge to draw the boys being Disney-Dads is STRONG
Like- I can imagine them wearing the cheesy 'This Dad is gonna be broke' shirts (Especially David) and following around a very excited Chrysta, (who is very much a Disney mom 100%), Laddie, Annie, Jenny, Tiff, Kat, and Chris.
David being the super on time schedule dad who needs everyone to haul ass to make it by the time the park opens and getting to their first rides.
Dwayne being the mellow dad who will watch all the littler baby vamps while everyone else goes on bigger rides. (Also kinda like David when it comes to getting up and going on time.)
Marko being the dress up dad who either gets all the girls and boys dressed up AND himself (and the other adults if he can convince them LOL) as princesses and heroes, pirates or whatever they want. They might even dress uo every day that they're there with a different theme each time. Bonus points if spent a whole month before the trip makin most of the stuff. đ„ș
And Paul is based off of something my mom has always done every trip I've gone, so idk if it's a common thing, but Paul is the 'I'll buy you one prize' dad. Basically he'll buy one thing for each of the kids, anything they want no matter the price. It's their "Special Disney from Daddy." (Or mama. What my mom always says when any of my sibs or I protest.) So you can expect a lot of Tiara buying from this man LOL. He also spoils his Boys and Chrysta. đ©·

@itsellenwinter đ§Č Animal Magnetism đ§Č
this summer has been equal parts precious, challenging, fulfilling, restorative, enervating, and humbling but truly above all deeply rewarding.
i spent, cumulatively, about 1.5 months upstate with my collaborators @litpic & @kellytieger along with their family and not to be dramatic or anything but its changed my life working / playing / creating / living up there. last week, we gathered the whole gang to check if our story ducks were quacking in a row as we hoped they would and now we are off the races with our⊠ducks. đŠ (henry vibes)
major ups to @machellovesyou & #jonathangroff for being who you are and infusing the last stint of this writing session with energy and clarity. and tree-climbing.
its a wild thing to see people you love collaborating with each other. and another thing to meet their kids and collaborate on a magnet castle with them and also make up songs. its really everywhere, play. thanks for welcoming me into your world(s) fam, and building new ones with me đ

cg!Chris with babyspace!Matt but he's never regressed into babyspace before so when he does and doesn't talk AT ALL and just cries or babbles, chris is so confused and a little concerned cause Matt's crying and not talking to him so Chris can't fix what's wrong
YES :(
he's regressed littler than normal because he's stressed/anxious/emotional and he just CLINGS to chris :(
like he's so connected he's sobbing if nick tries to hold him instead
and chris is just panicking because he doesnt do much but sob and just sleep in his lap :(
he's napping a lot more and he's so much more clingy and chris just goes through the "bottle? stuffy? cuddles? paci?" questions trying to figure out why he's crying :(

Do you think they do dirty talk on the daily? (Like in public when they are horny)
I personally think Chris does, heâll whisper things like âyou look so hot mamaâ âim so turned on right nowâ âIâm gonna bend you over this table laterâ âyou should feel how hard I am right nowâ
He would grab your ass as you pass by and would push your ass against his dick when youâre standing in front of him, even if you are taking to other people (heâs not sacred of pda)
Matt in the other hand would be more discrete heâll whisper you how pretty you look and heâll tell you he loves you but not in his usual tone, you know better and can tell by his body language that he needs you.
Heâs not into pda but he will stare with no shame at your boobs/ass/legs and if heâs needy heâll give you shoulder kisses and would hold your waist a littler tighter than usual, hugging you from behind pressing himself into your ass (in a more subtle way than Chris) and heâll whisper âcan we leave now?, I need you all to myselfâ
Heâll caress your thigh under the table going higher and higher every time but keeping a smile on his face as he pretends to keep attention to whatever conversation heâs having .
I think they do but Chris Fssssssss loves messing with you in public, bro does not care where yall are or what youâre doing heâs gon be up in your talking about sum âYou look so sexy today baby, gonna let me fuck you real nice later right?â and touching you subtly but desperately over your clothes. Youâll get some eyes from the group of people youâre around but Chris dgaf my mans wants his dick suckeddddd!!!!!!
And i đŻ Agree with Mattâs. Heâs way more subtle but heâs still going to let you know he wants you so that you can leave wherever you are asap. Heâs the type to text you that heâs âfeeling horny by just looking at youâ. And heâll definitely try sum if yall are sitting next to each other, whispers âIs this okay?â While inching his hand further up your leg. Knowing its not but smirking because youâre so conflicted on whether to stop him or keep going because he sounds so good in your ear

Love your common sense post. Thank you for being rational and critically thinking!! No matter the outcome or side you're on.
There are blogs determined it is real and they are a private couple hence never seen out. But also "know" that they are "pushing for a september AD article" rather than waiting for the house to be finished. And that the wedding is in fall!!
Well why would a "real and private" couple be pushing for an AD release at all? Especially why try and rush it for a September deadline? And why the deadline? That's not normal.
If they were real and private, especially with Chris's experience of past homes and fans, you would keep details of your home and wedding private, no one would know.
He's littlerally had fans work out where his houses are, stalk them and break in! If that is his "future family home they're building together," why risk his wife and future children's safety by plastering it all over the interent to be found?!
Sorry rant over
Okay I absolutely understand your thoughts on this and I also agree on a lot of it.
However, I see my posts yesterday getting very misconstrued (mostly by the people who support the other blog lol). I wasnt saying the source wasnt real or that their info is fake etc or wont happen.
I saw someone call me "delusional" for not believing it - I have never said it might not be true. What I called TLQ out on was them telling people to have "common sense" when it came to the Jinx ad. I think that is so hypocritical considering theyre playing the "trust me bro" card and RELYING on people not having common sense when it comes to their info on the engagement specifically.
They are relying on people not using common sense because there is nothing logical or even partly proven about their info. They just insist on it and keep saying "believe what you want" and "take it with a grain of salt" which can even be considered like a manipulation tactic. They know how desperate people in this fandom have become and now they have this info that they can't share anything about except the info itself, and we now have to blindly believe that someone who has proof of the engagement sent it to a tumblr blog and not fucking tmz. To me, it seems like a tactic to rile people up. I dont even think TLQ is behind it, I legitimately believe theyre being sent this shit. My question is WHY. And I know why. Its obvious to me. Im just surprised they havent realized yet that theyre being used to push this narrative.
That is what bothered me. Its the double standard.
To me, jinx putting out a hint he is single is a lot more plausible than them actually being sent real and true engagement info AS THE ONLY ONE.
They have known this for months now and still there is nothing about it in the news cycle. Thats weird af.
Whereas he literally could have made a comment about it or even approved the jinx ad with this slogan. He was actually in the room with these people, so to me that seems a lot more plausible.
That is what my posts were about.
Im not saying I believe one or the other or whatever, I was calling out the double standard of how they treat information.
Rant over.
#mandy answers#chris evans#lets clear this up#i see people misinterpreting my post all over#they need to learn to read lol
