Gabriel, Tomoe, Jagged Stone, Audrey and Andre are ALLLLL worthy of redemption and theyre actually NOT that bad despite one being an actual terrorist and the others being either overbearing to an abusive degree, neglectful and childish or verbally abuse.

Obviously Chloe and Lila are assholes and deserve repercussions for being bullies and treating others like shit, anyone with a brain can see that but to be so heinous and down right stupid to claim these kids are more fucked up than the actual adults who are fully aware of whats going on?? Why does Gabriel get to redeem himself after spending months terrorizing Paris, killing people, neglecting his son and even physically abusing him when he deems it fit?? Why does he get a pass?? Cuz his baby mom got sick doin shit she knows she shouldnt be doing?? Really??

Why does Audrey and Andre get to not see anyone call them out for how they made Chloe?? Why does Andre get to disown Chloe and start over with her nicer copy?? After making her into the spoiled brat she is cuz HE GAVE HER EVERYTHING SHE WANTED, HE COULDVE PUT HIS FOOT DOWN BUT HE DIDNT?? HES A GROWN MAN, and suddenly hes done?? Cuz he wanted to be some dumbass director?? Seriously?? Sir you made your daughter that way and allowed your shitty wife to talk down to her and destroy her self worth, you allowed your daughter to keep demanding things from people and never ONCE tried to speak up, and suddenly you wanna start over with a kid that isnt even yours??

Jagged Stone literally abandons his whole ass kids cuz "kids arent cool" and he KNEW WHERE THEY WERE, KNEW WHO THEY WERE, and likely wouldve NEVER told them unless Luka in his akumatized form actually found him cuz hes a fucking man child going through a midlife crisis

I cant really say much on Tomoe cuz we dont really get much on her besides little hints but giving how Kagami is and how she mentions she wasnt even allowed to draw shows that Tomoe is exactly like Gabriel and what do ya know..Kagamis also a senti monster. Its fucked up!

Why do these grown ass adults get passes but Lila and Chloe dont? Chloes apparently a little soulless monster and Lila?? Is a fucking sociopath pulling an Orphan with all these new identities?? What the fuck??

Also lets not forget, Felix tried to make Adrien lose his friends, mocked Adrien for being an abused kid, found out Adriens mother is in the basement and REFUSES TO TELL HIM?? He gave Gabriel all of the miraculous, and instead of helping his COUSIN, he helps this random girl hes now suddenly obsessed with?? What?? But no yeah FELIX deserves to be forgiven despite all of his actions also being just as selfish and terrible as Chloe and Lila but go the fuck off ig, but EVEN STILL HES NOT WORSE THAN GABRIEL

Honestly i hate that people brush of others being disappointed/angry that Chloe about Chloe's redemption arc and say that Chloe's arc was a "damnation arc" and was there to teach kids that some people don't want to be good. First of all, why waste all that time making Chloe sympathetic and constantly hint at her becoming a better person if it's just going to end in a slap to the face? You could have used those episodes to instead develop the rest of the side characters. Second of all, if that was the lesson the writers where going with, then they did a bad job if even adults are confused. You could have just done that lesson in one episode and it probably would have been better. Plus the lesson doesn't really work when no one else is getting a redemption. Like, Lila is right there! Why have her prove that some people don't want to change while Chloe can prove that some people can change with hard work. And I'm sorry, but I frankly find it a bit disgusting to have claim that a 14 year old abused child (and yes, Neglect IS ABUSES THOMAS) is "irredeemable" while also trying to make the villain that terrorizes Paris all the time sympathetic because he "just misses his wife". (Sorry for the rant I just had to vent a bit cause I HATE this excuse)

Don't forget that Felix can commit genocide with the Peacock Miraculous because he's a "poor cinnamon roll sentimonster" yet Chloe says a few racist things and is deemed the devil.

The differences between Merula and Draco are fascinating to me (all my knowledge of hp comes from hogwarts mystery and posts on pinterest) bc Draco is a spoiled brat, and he gets it from his father. Meanwhile Merula's parents are in Azkaban, and it's not difficult to put yourself into her shoes. Of course she's bitter. If anyone found out her parents were in magic prison, it's all she'd be known for, so it makes sense she'd become a bully with her heart set on "most powerful witch", in order to make a name for herself before people put the "troubled kid" label onto her. The player character is even defined by their brother at first. It's obvious that your reputation follows you to hogwarts whether you want it to or not. Draco uses that to his advantage, while Merula wants to bury her family reputation at all costs. Merula is misunderstood, her pursuit of power serving as a ticket out of her parents' shadow, while Draco revels in his parents' power and social standing.

A New Start

Summary: Shadybug and Claw Noir have a chat about good deeds. ~450 words.

"Destroying the Eiffel Tower was a good design choice," Shadybug said. Or Ladybug. Adrien wasn't quite sure how to refer to her yet, or himself for that matter.

A single night of restless sleep after their adventure in another world hadn't exactly helped his brainstorming. They stood together in someone's house, meeting up for the first time since they've been home, and neither of them knew what to say.

"Seeing it standing was an eyesore," he agreed. "So that's one good deed we've done for Paris."

She sighed, crossing her arms as they looked out at the mix of rubble and rebuilt buildings, the endless security cameras and propaganda posters for the Supreme. It would be worth bringing back the Eiffel Tower to get rid of all that, Adrien supposed, even though he still wasn't sure how a world ran without someone like the Supreme in charge.

"So we're… Going to start meeting with Betterfly?" he said uncertainly.

"I guess." She glanced at him, looked him up and down in a different kind of way.

It was a nice kind of way, actually. A kind of way that didn't make him think she was trying to figure out where she'd bury his body, which was new. It was better than before when he felt like he was always on the balls of his feet, ready to spring away the moment she went for him.

He really didn't know what to do with that, so he just said, "Chloe Bougeois is alive."

She stared at him in a very familiar way this time. That look that said that he was an idiot and she had no idea why he ever opened his mouth at all. She raised an eyebrow and went, "Yyyeah?"

"You didn't kill her," he clarified. "I know her in real life. She says you harass her all the time or something."

"Yeah."

"But she's alive."

Ladybug scowled and shook her head. "Okay, yeah, what's your point?"

"My point is… You could've killed her, right? And you didn't?" Adrien fiddled with his silver nunchucks. They spun quickly in the air as he cleared his throat. "So maybe that's two good deeds. And if there's two, maybe there's more and if there's more…"

Maybe we're not so bad, he thought, though the words died on his lips.

She closed her eyes. "Not killing someone isn't exactly a good deed, kitty. More like the bare minimum." Then she opened them and breathed in the ashy air and looked, just for a moment, like the Ladybug of the world they left behind. "But it's not nothing. It's a start."

(Nathaniel is looking at a TikTok as Kim and Sabrina walk up to him.)

Kim: Hey, Nathaniel? There's this rumor going around that you... like run Hollywood or something?

(The artist looks annoyed and confused.)

Nathaniel: What?

Kim: I told Sabrina that it's just kids being dumb and she shouldn't listen to stuff like that...

(He pauses and looks sheepish)

Kim: But... we do have this sweet idea for a buddy-cop movie about a monkey and dog. We've got the first 20 pages written down, so... you don't really run Hollywood, right?

Nathaniel: I'm not even going to justify that with a response, because repeating a derogatory slur even for the purpose of refuting it can make stupid people think it's valid!

(He storms off.)

Kim:... Holy shit, Nathaniel runs Hollywood.

Sabrina: Yeah, and you fucked up the pitch!

Kim: What?! How'd I fuck up the pitch?!

Sabrina: You gotta tell him what the stakes are.

Kim: It's a dog and monkey as cops!

(Later, Nathaniel and Chloe are sitting in front of Principal Nora, who looks absolutely furious.)

Principal Nora: Miss Bougeois, did you or did you not tell students at this school that Nathaniel runs Hollywood?

Chloe: I think I said that, yes.

Principal Nora: And why would you say such an intolerant, offensive thing like that?!

(The girl simply shrugs.)

Chloe: Somebody has to run it.

Nathaniel: LOTS OF PEOPLE RUN HOLLYWOOD!

Chloe: Yes! Lots of people.... like Nathaniel.

Principal Nora: Miss Bougeois! You are on dangerous frickin ground here, kid!

Chloe: Look, what is so offensive about saying he runs Hollywood. Hollywood's great. Jews should be honored to be in charge of it.

(Nora pounds the desk.)

Principal Nora: HEY! I am telling you right now, Chloe. The next time anyone says anything about Nathaniel running Hollywood, that person is gonna have two months detention!

Chloe: Jesus, Mary Mother Full of Grace. You guys really take this seriously.

Again, her tone is somewhat stricter than the conversation may have called for, but there was no aggression behind it: simply wishing that the young woman would see her skills for what they were.

Rising from her seat, Nathalie moves closer to observe Marinette's handiwork more closely. Giving no acknowledgement to the girl's continued thanks, she takes hold of the finished garment to observed the corrections the girl had made. Despite the stress and lack of time, her stitchwork was even and solid.

"He does." She wasn't exactly in the habit of sharing the sort of things Adrien talked about, but it was hardly a secret. "You were one of the first friends he truly made when he began attending public school... and while it isn't my position to say, I must admit, you are one of the more... positive influences that he's had." Chloe Bougeois had been his friend for as long as Nathalie could recall, but the spoiled princess was hardly the influence she'd prefer for the boy. "He's the reason we've had our eye on your performance, truthfully."

"Oh, I've been very lucky," Marinette starts to say before the mention of Adrien's name causes her fingers to slip on her needle, jabbing her fingertip with a sharp poke. Quickly pull her hand away from the design so as not to get blood on it, she reaches for a tissue, quickly applying pressure to the wound. It's not the first time she's jabbed herself in the fingertip and it certainly wouldn't be the last. But this is the first time she's done it in the middle of a competition, her threading heartbeat reminds her, and her cheeks light with a flush at Adrien's name.

"And clumsy," she adds with a groan, pinching her pointer finger and thumb together, tissue pressed between them to stop the bleeding. Adrien talked about me? her mind rattles unhelpfully, as she tries to straighten the garment with her freed hand. At least that one is done--now just to sew the buttons on the other.

Marinette laughs a little as the woman dismisses her thanks just as Marinette dismissed her own compliment. "Well, you helped me with the last minute adjustment," she says, pulling the tissue away to check her finger. Good, at least it's done bleeding, and she starts her work on the final garment. "Adrien talked about me?" she manages to voice, keeping her hands steady this time.

Welp, between Andre resigning from Mayor, Sabrina possibly breaking away from Chloe in the future, and Adrien finally cutting his ties with Chloe in future episodes, that just proves my point that Chloe would probably have to lose everything to redeem. So in the end, I was right.

The Lost Miraculous: Octod

Hey to all my Chloes and Zoes, Muggle back and finally, after being a day late, I have now finally created my Spider Kwami OC for my upcoming AU fanfic: The Lost Miraculous! 

Everyone, I want you all to meet Octod!

Here’s a short bio of him:

He the Kwami of Apprehension; connected to the Spider Miraculous 

His miraculous is a pair of bangles 

Originally from the Australian Miracle Box until abandoned by the guardian [Don Undra]

To activate, the holder must say “Octod, spin my web!” To deactivate, the saying is “Dissolve my web!” 

His power is “Ensnare,” and his weapon is a bullwhip. 

His name means “eight,” referring to the number of legs arachnids have. 

His power up food is Cotton Candy

He first meets Chloe after she accidentally comes across his miraculous at the end of “Queen Banana.”

When he explains after he was abandoned by his original owner/guardian, Chloe does feel some sympathy towards him due to her own abandonment issues, but being too angry and bitter towards Ladybug and Vesperia, she brushes it off and decides to use him for her own advantage. 

After using him to fight off a villain Ladybug and Cat Noir were originally fighting, he feels betrayed and upset that his new owner would do such a thing. Even asking “If I’m not exceptional?” 

Triggered, Chloe snaps at him and begins to cry herself. 

Octod begins to feel bad for what he did and even decides to talk to the blonde. Seeing if he can get an answer out of her.

Appreciating his empathy, Chloe starts to explain why she is the way she and even apologizes for her behavior. 

Although he understands why she was kicked off the team and is no longer Queen Bee, Octod begins to believe that with some kindness, love, and patience, Chloe can become a better hero with the spider miraculous. 

That’s all I have for now! I usually don’t post art on here unless it’s on my art blog. But other than that, I had fun drawing him and I can’t wait to do more with him and Chloe as time goes by!

theres already a comic sort of like this but... an au where chloe gets the ladybug miraculous with adrien still getting the cat and marinette getting the bee. but adrien still acts as he does in canon ie not f*cking helping or just getting in the way; and Chloe is the one who has to step up her game and she and marinette both have to constantly work together to a) fight akuma and b) prevent adrien from "sacrificing" himself and becoming a bigger nuisance(?) than normal c)prevent civillians from getting hurt. 

eventually adrien will make some stupid mistake leading both chloe and marinette to discover his identity and both draw away from him as civillians as a result, since being a hero has forced Chloe to become a better person.

i think this prompt would give room for an author to develop chloe in a way that she sees how cumbersome fighting akumas is on the daily and will grow to be better because of it

what would you change for zoe lee character

Id make her Chloes cousin for one thing.

Keep her backstory more or less the same, her parents are divorced and after her father finds out she was bullied he decides to send her to Paris with her cousin cuz she'll at least have a familiar face there.

Zoes introduced and Chloes happy to see her cousin but in a "Finally someone whos not ridiculous! Ive been dying here!" And ofc everyones skeptical of Zoe and stays clear but then maybe Zoe approaches them and shes clearly a lot nicer than Chloe so Marinette asks why shes around the meanest girl and maybe have Zoe mention that she wasnt always like and sometimes she can be nice.

And outside of Chloe, have Zoe interact with different people..give her other hobbies, maybe she gets akumatized cuz she misses her old home and friends cuz she doesnt feel like she fits in and she worries that the class will be like New York an she'll have to move again

Just. Have Zoe and Chloe actually act like family cuz Chloe isnt some evil character, and give Zoe an actual character and definitely introduce her/ mention her at least in around season 3 or 4 so we're not blind sided by a new character were suppose to care about.

Also..DONT HAVE ANDRE TRY AND FILL A FATHER ROLE WHEN HE DOESNT DO THAT WITH CHLOE. He doesnt get to pretend to be a good dad when a nice one pops up, have him try and throw money at her like he does Chloe cuz he cant be bothered (let Zoe and Chloe bond over spending his and Audreys money!!)

Also instead of Plagg choosing her as the firsr replacement immediately..let him want to choose Nino but maybe Nino gets caught up in somethin and cant do it, and no one else is as close to Adrien and Tikki already chose Alya so he makes a quick decision and chooses Zoe (also he never suggests nerfing Chloe. Ever and if he does have Zoe shut that sit down tf.)
