Spy x Family Ch. 111: Anya's Mama

So many things for such a little chapter, don't you think?

We saw baby Anya and we finally caught a glimpse of Anya's biological mother.

Something to notice is that they're both wearing hospital gowns, which makes me think they were in the lab and, because of that, we can solidify the theory about Anya being born there. It could be that her mom was pregnant when captured or that they experimented on her and she got pregnant while in that lab. A secret third option is that Anya's mom actually volunteered for the experiments (maybe she was a scientist herself or a family member coaxed her into doing it), although I find this unlikely due to her comment about the butterfly. Either way, I have a feeling we won't know for a very long time.

Mindreading or no mindreading?

Endo chose not to let us know about that explicitly. However, look at this panel:

I don't think Anya's mom is talking here. I think she's thinking this. Because of that, I do suspect Anya can read her mama's mind. She doesn't fully understand it but those words are inside her memory.

However, as you can see in the panel below, we don't see her classic mindreading sparkles. So, it' could also be that she saw her mom getting sad or nostalgic and she wanted to hug her. Kids are very perceptive of their parent's emotions.

If you ask me, I think she was born with that ability. Either her mom was also a telepath who was being studied during her pregnancy or she was experimented while pregnant and gained and passed her abilities to her daughter.

All this makes me consider that maybe Anya wasn't experimented on like many of us believed for a long time. Maybe those scientists were just studying her/observing her in order to understand and try to replicate her abilities. I'm really hoping Endo will go this route, it's less cruel. In any case, keeping someone so young as a case study is still wrong and I don't think Twilight and Yor will like this.

Anya's Mama

I'm talking about Yor, of course.

First of all, I think Endo summed up what motherhood is about in this panel:

It's not exactly that a mom can read their kid's mind, but it's something close. As a mom you get to know your child inside and out. When you take care of them, see them grow and love them with all your heart, you simply learn to "read every part of them."

That's how we know that Yor loves Anya and that she is her mom.

I don't know what happened to Anya's biological mom; she could be gone or still be alive. I'm sure we'll find out eventually. However, no matter what happens, I think Anya will always have that unconditional love from Yor.

There's a prevalent theme about motherhood in sxf: a mother as a safe place. Yor has mentioned it several times; she knows her job is to protect Anya and Anya feels safe when her mama is around (even Twilight notices this.)

I think the bond between them will get stronger as the story moves forward. Come on, it's pretty obvious Anya is Yor's baby, she's already head over heels and she decided she wanted to be a good mother since day 1. Also, a big theme in the story are bonds that are forged, and chosen family. In the story, blood ties sometimes are complicated (look at the Desmonds, for example.)

I'm not fluent in Japanese, but I am aware that Anya calls Yor and Twilight, Haha and Chichi, which is an English equivalent of "my mom and my dad", instead of just "mom and dad." In case you are wondering, Anya did call her biological mom, the right way: "mama."

At some point in the story, I think we will see Anya call Yor and Twilight, mama and papa the right way. I suspect this will be the moment when they will realize they're no longer a pretend family, but a real one. And it'll be simply beautiful 💖

A Few Questions

Whenever we learn something about one of the Forger's past, we are usually left with even more questions like:

Where's Anya's mom now?: I think either she's still a prisoner somewhere or she's dead. And if she's alive, does she know Anya lives?

How did Anya escape? She was so little! She must have had help from someone.

Who is Anya's dad? Maybe a scientist? A prisoner of war? Or was artificial insemination possible back then?

Is Anya her real name? I'm wondering if her mom called her differently. Here are some theories about her name. I suspect this will be important and I wouldn't be surprised if Anya is not her real name, almost as a foil of Twilight's name and story.

And also, there's a gap between that scene/memory and when Anya gets adopted by Twilight. We know thanks to Franky that in the year before Twilight adopted her, she was previously adopted by four different families, however, there's still a chunk of time missing.

I estimate she's probably 2 years old in that memory, she was 4 when she was adopted by those other families, and 5 years old when Twilight became her dad. That leaves 2 full years blank. Where was she during that time?

More Buff Chichi 💖💪🏽

Ik it’s been a while but here’s another buff chichi I drew. This was supposed to be like a funny shitpost (I was using one of those out of context images as a reference) but I got serious halfway through lmao, now it has a whole dialogue and extra shading n shi. I literally die everytime someone likes my old buff chichi post and anything dragonball related I’ve made bc I never expected the fandom to still be alive like this when I first started posting (also my aus are rly random and I never expected ppl to actually see and like them oop) and it gives me a good jumpscare when I come back to check my inbox lmao.

Anyways. Here’s Chichi being Stronk, who knows who said it but Chichi heard someone mention her age as if that would mean she would be weak and she took it as a little challenge and grabbed her boys as quickly as she could to put that statement to rest. Trust she’s got some muscles under there, you just can’t see them because these goobers are covering them.

I originally had some extra speech bubbles where she says “I bet I could even lift your father, Videl, and Pan at the same time too!” To which Gohan replies “Please Don’t! You’ll hurt yourself” because he’s the only one worried about her age and health lmao. Everybody else just egged her on. Maybe even Goku gets sad he wasn’t the one lifted instead but who knows. Goten’s line was also altered from “Gohan and Dad really weren’t kidding about you still working out.” But it sounded a bit like a jab at the two and her since it’s unlikely that’d be a thing he wouldn’t believe from either of them. She trained him, like cmon, out of all the people who’d stop training? idk what I was thinking with that line😅

Added trunks last second because it was funny thinking of Bulma struggling with doing the same but only with Trunks, and even funnier when I thought about Vegeta doing it bc he would be half embarrassed but he doesn’t like to lose. (Though it’d be too easy for him and would make no difference since he’s a super powered alien.) Also I thoroughly enjoyed drawing these three together, it was really hard since I’ve only ever drawn chichi out of all three.

"Y/N" Trunks called out into the forest where his elder sister was busy training. "You sure she's here Trunks?" Goten asked also in search of his sister figure "KAHMEHAMEHAAA" there was a yell off in the distance and a large blast followed "FOUND HER" both boys perked up at the sound. They where quick to take off into the air following the destruction that was left behind. "Okay that was awesome, but you have to make sure you use you hips more when you send it" The boys landed next to her and Goten's father. "Ah dad, what are you guys doing?" Goten asked with Goku standing there with his hands on Y/N's hips showing her the movement he wanted her to do. "Oh Goten, Trunks Hey guys" Goku smiled brightly and released Y/N hips. "I was showing Y/N how to get more power behind her Kahmehamha" Y/N stood straight and looked up at Goku. "Thanks for the training session, Dad refuses to help me with my form" She said bowing in thanks. "It's not a problem at all, always a pleasure when it's just the two of us" Goku brought her into a side hug, his arm slung over her shoulder.  "Oh yeah, Mom said the feast is ready, she said we're just waiting on you Goku" Trunks remembering as to why they where there. "OH YEAH, I'm starving, come on Y/N we better not keep them waiting" Goku was already in the air the two youngsters following suit. "Oh um a-actually, Mom said she doesn't want to see Y/N right now" Trunks frowned as he told his sister what their mother had said "WHAT but Y/N had a full day of training and she's hungryyyyy" Goku wined at the information. "Dad maybe it's best if we leave her, m-mom not happy you've been spending so much time with her either" Goten said. He was trying to keep his farther out of the dog house. "but, Y/N, are you?" Goku was so sad, Him and Y/N where like best friends, they battled, hangout, and even took the boys training together all the time "Oh it's okay Goku, go eat I'm sure you're hungry. Plus I'm um mm Fasting thats right, a cleanse" She lied, she knew he would offer to stay or bring her food but that would only get him in trouble with his Wife. "You sure, I could" "No no go enjoy, I'll be here like always" she smiled and ushered them to leave. "Well okay, I guess we better go then" and with that the boys took off heading towards Collapse corp.  "Dad you have to stop running off with Y/N" Goten complained " Yeah Goku, Mrs.ChiChi thinks you're cheating with my sister" Trunks complainant as he circled to the other side of Goten. "WHAT, that's insane, sure Y/N is sweet and really pretty and a great fighter but I love ChiChi, it's just nice having someone to hang with that can match my energy" Goku confessed while looking back "She makes me feel normal, you know?" He look back forward. "I get it dad we love Y/N too but nobody else does" Goten felt so sad whenever discussing her. "But i just don't understand, She kind, smart, powerful, and just perfect" Trunks defended his sister. "I agree Trunks, there has to be more to her and Vegeta's history then what we have been told" Goku face changed to one of determination "and I think we need to find out" "Yeah, lets do it" the boys where more than excited to find out why their beloved sister was hated so much. "I thinks we've been left out of the loop and I want in" Goku said "ALRIGHT OPERATION UNCOVER IS A GO" Trunks cheered before they began their decent to the ground. 

"GOKU WERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?" Goku was already saddened by his wife's voice. "AHAH ChiChi hey, I've just been training with Y/N" Goku said a light sweat forming. "WHAT HAVE I SAID ABOUT THAT BITCH" Chichi ignited with straight furry. "She's a whore who just wants in your pants" she glared at Goku, If only looks could kill. "HEY, DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT MY SISTER" Trunks desperately wanted to defend his sister but he was never allowed to. "TRUNKS" Bulma holler walking in with Vegeta "What have I said about calling that THING you sister" Vegeta scolded him. "I,- DAD SHE'S YOUR KID" Trunks was almost in tears "He's right Mr.Vegeta" Goten intervened "Goten, shush" ChiChi was quick to silence him. The boys always argurded about Y/N especially Trunks, He loved her deeply but today a new voice intervened.  "You know Vegeta, I've always wondered how Y/N came to be" Goku pushed the conversation on. "I've already told ya, She was a Fling back when I was working with Frieza" "Right but that doesn't explain why you hate her" Gohan was now involved. He had always been fawn of the girl, but his mother had forbidden him from talking with her as they grew up. "I never asked for her, she nothing but a burden that is utterly useless to me" Vegeta set the cup he was holding down. "Plus she's far to weak to actually be my child" he had a smug look on his face. "Naw I don't think so Vegeta, She's really strong. I've seen it myself" Goku was determined to defend her as much as he could "ARE YOU CALLING ME A LIAR KAKAROT?" Now Vegeta was enraged. So Bulma stepped in "Now boys please, Goku you know we don't accept Y/N because she is nothing but a danger, and Vegeta said her mother was rather hot headed meaning she could explode at any minute" "But Vegeta's hot headed, why is Y/N any different?" Gohan asked. He has never truly accepted their reasons but he had always respected them being thats how he was raised. "BECAUSE Y/N'S MOTHER WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS" Bulma yelled in anger her veins showing and pulsing. "Damn Bulma cool your tits" Goku was surprised by her sudden outburst. "Kakarot just drop it" Vegeta warned. "No" for once Goku was taking his stand. Y/N is very dear to him and He wants to know why they should hate her. "GOKU" ChiChi was surprised by her husbands serious tone. "Kakarot" "Y/N is very dear to me, she's one of my best friends and both her and I deserve an explanation as to why she's hated" Goku was stern with his voice "So do they because they love her" He said pointing to Trunks and Goten. "Kakarot" Vegeta interrupted in a much softer tone. "ARE YOU CHEATING ON CHICHI?" Bulma threw out a rather large accusation "WHAT" "I KNEW IT GOKU, YOU'RE ALWAYS OFF WITH HER" Tears where running down her face it's like the women could cry on command. "TELL ME DO YOU FUCK HER? HUH YOUR BEST FRIENDS KID? DISGUSTING MAN, SHE'S LIKE A CHILD!!" Chichi was balling and hyperventilating. She was angry one second and now shes this. Goku was so confused "WHY WOULD YOU ASSUME THAT?" then it clicked,  Goku was suddenly very aware of what was going on. Bulma and ChiChi were hiding something and they created a scene to cover it up pinning him as the villain. "THAT'S NOT FAIR, ACCUSING ME OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT!" Goku tried to defend himself but as he looked at his friends for support, all eyes where on him with nothing but hate. "I think, I thinks you've done enough damage" 18 said coming to hold ChiChi.

"What, I-I didn't do" Goku was cut off by a swift punch from Krillin. "Goku, I thought you where better than that". The emotion that Goku felt was so unreal, How could they not even let him defend himself, and even worse think so little of Y/N. "Fine, I'll leave, But don't come calling for me to save you" Goku hovered above the ground doing one last look through the group. He saw a distraught Vegeta, as is he was regretting something. He didn't stick around to listen tho, a quiet goodbye and with that Goku left, flying back to the only comfort he was guaranteed to always have . Y/N. "DAD/GOKU WAIT" the young boys got ready to follow before they where intercepted by their mothers. ChiChi held Goten close crying about how she was betrayed and heart broken and how she needed comfort from her son, her child who she knew loved her. "M-Mom let go, HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT" the sudden energy spike from Goten surprised her and she released. She was expecting him to listen like he always did but he retaliated.  " Y/N is very kind and Dad loves you, H-how could you" Goten had tears in his eyes now, "Come on Trunks let's go" Goten pulled Trunks out of Bulma's grasp. "Trunks you leave, you'll be in deep shit" Vegeta threatened. Trunks looked at his parents right in the eyes and said, "Makes sure it's so deep I'm at the same level as you" They then took off to the sky in pursuit of Goku. 

As Goku landed in the forest, he was quick to start his search. "Y/N" He yelled. He walked aimlessly for a good minute till "You won't find her like that" a voice spoke from behind him "Boys!?" He was surprised to see both Trunks and Goten. "You boys should go home, They hate me, no need for them to hate you too" Goku had a look of utter defeat, like his whole world just came crashing down. Which is kinda did in a sense, Lost his Wife, Home, his friends and all because their was a damn secret that 'had' to be kept. "Dad, w-what happened back their wasn't your fault for once, t-that was just scary" Goten admitted beneath his breath. "Yeah Goku, that wasn't right" For the first time in forever Goku felt like crying. He was genuinely heartbroken. Sure he married ChiChi because she tricked him at first but he came to tolerate her enough to considerate love and he loves their two wonderful kids. Then his best friend that he grew up with, was the one that accused Him of being the cheater. She's known him the longest and to think she thought so little of him "Trunks, d-do you know where Y/N is, I really need her" Goku was so defeated that he was admittedly asking for help, he was on the verge of begging for it. "Y-yeah" Trunks began to lead them. It genuinely scared the boys to see Goku, the worlds savior like that, hollow almost life less. He was stripped of almost all his will to fight, he even left without eating. "She has a house she built, it's huge too" Trunks was almost bragging about it. Making an attempt to brighten the mood "But you need to have a secret code to find it" he walked right up to the mountain wall and began to feel around.

"Trunks?" "FOUND IT" Trunks interrupted Goten. "Dear the gods" he began. "My family is not always my blood," Trunks took a breath "bless the all father, This mask has seen life through death, this is a honor" as he finished the wall began to shake, splitting in the middle and forming into the shape of a door. "Come on, there's not long till it closes" Trunks rushed the other two in after him. "TRUNKS IS THAT YOU?" Y/N voice came from somewhere within the house. "YEAH AND GOTEN AND GOKU" He hollered informing his sis of the extra guests " Ah Goku, Goten, I just finished Dinner" Y/N had came from the stairway down the hall. She was dressed for bed in her Bowser P.J pants and a black tank-top. "Welcome, I could sense you guys, sorry I just got out the shower" She apologized while trying to dry her dripping hair. "Ah it's no problem Y/N, just glad you could have us" Goku smile was back but it wasn't as bright as it usually was. Y/N was quick to notice, and seeing his slight red eyes told her everything she needed to know. "Hey boys, why don't you go set up the guest room, I'm assuming your staying the night?" Y/N knew the answer but she just want confirmation. "Yep, is that okay?" Goten asked while Trunks was already up the stairs. Y/N bent down to Goten height, "Of course baby, go help Trunks tho, sleep over" she did little jazz hands to emphasize her excitement. "THANKS Y/N, I LOVE YOU" Goten was quick to hug her then sprint up the stair in tow of Trunks. Y/N smiled but it faded as she adjusted her view onto the man who had settled in on the couch. "Goku, you okay?" Y/N was caution, this was new territory for her. "Have you ever fucked up so bad that your life fell apart?" Goku voice was nothing more than a whimper. Goku cursing surprised her slightly. "You know I'm a fuck up" Y/N sat next to Goku, opening her arms for him. He was quick to fall into them. "Y/N, tell me, why are you hated?" "I-uh, I really shouldn't say m-my farther will be mad" Y/N had made a promise to keep their history private. Even though he hated her, she still respected him. "Y/N, I-I lost everything..." Goku took a shaky breath in.  Wide eyed Y/n ran her finger through his spiky hair. "Goku, what happened?" her whispered voice sent a calming chill down his spine. "ChiChi and Bulma accused me of cheating with you, and then everyone turned against me. my friends, my wife, my best friend, everyone" Goku finished with a hiccup. He adjusted so he was now laying on her lap "But, why, you do so much for them" She felt tears, did this really happen and why would they turn so fast? "They where mad I was with you, then they stared saying bad things about you, a-and I wanted to defend you but then I asked what happened in your past, that's when it all went down hill" small tears striped down her face. 'did he really risk everything for me?' she thought to herself. She felt horrid, she would hate to lose Goku but if it was his happiness or hers "Goku, I'm not worth your happy life, just apologize and then promise to never see me again, that should fix it" She wanted him to be happy, the people who love her where always suffering because of her. She didn't want that. "Goku you have a wonderful family, wife, friends, if they don't want anything to do with me then leave me, I'm not worth all your happiness" Y/N grew up being told she was worthless, she didn't want Goku to waste his life on her. "You know Y/N thats really selfish of you" He was now staring right at her, feeling her tears drip onto his cheeks fusing with his own, "My life is amazing because you're in it, You're my best friend Y/N, life without you this wouldn't be as fun" He smiled up at her, a real smile. "Oh Goku, you are my best friend too, and I" She was interrupted by the pitter patter of feet running down the stairs. "Y/N, WE FINISHED" Trunks yelled, in search of her, " Yeah can we eat now?" Goten asked finding them sitting on the couch.

"Oh, I'm guessing you told her?" Goten asked seeing both of them crying, he was scared but he did what he felt was right, however "D-Dad, where are we going to live?" Goten had come to that realization while setting up the bed, He didn't want to go back home and he knew they where searching for them. "Umm I'm not sure yet buddy but we'll figure it out" Goku only hoped to calm his poor son who was trapped in the middle of this whole mess. "What do you mean figure it out? The answer seem pretty clear to me" Y/N said removing Goku from her lap and standing to comfort the boy. "Here obviously, I have enough room as long as Trunks is okay with bunking?" She looked over at her brother for approval. "HELL YEAH, I GET AN ACTUAL SIBLING" Trunk would be more than happy to share, especially with Goten. "Goku, you can take my bed tonight since the other room isn't ready yet" Y/N picked both Trunks and Goten up and made her way to the kitchen "No no I'll take the couch, really" Goku was not usually one to give up a good sleep but at the moment he felt like he should. "Goku, my wonderful monkey alien, you have had a long night, please take the bed and rest up" She set the boys down and began to plate their dinner. "Y/N you are to good to us, also I thought you where fasting?" Goku only now realized that she had made a feast. "I uh  Iliedbecuaseiknewyouwouldinsiteonstayingwithme" She said really fast, Goku only being able to catch lie. "really, Y/N?" He had a fake pout. "Oh shush, eat up and then go shower and off to bed" She set the plates on the table and allowed the boy to got to work. "THANKS FOR THE FOOD" they said before digging in.

"Y/N, the waters getting cold" Goten complained from the tub he was sitting in. "That means baths over boys, time to get out" Y/N unplugged the drain and set two towel for the boy on the toilet sink. "okay, dry up, P.J's on then we'll hang and then bed. Deal?" She question while heading out the door. "DEAL" both yelled as the door shut behind her. "Okay boys bathed, me bathed, now to check in on Goku" she made her way towards her bedroom which was currently the temporary home for the hero. "GOKU" she knocked on the door, waiting for a response. "Yeah, come on in" once she got her reply she enterned, and found the man snuggled up in her bed, tucked in nice and cozy. "I see you're comfy" she laughed a little. "Very," he said with a smile " alright get some sleep, I'm gonna put the boys to bed, if you need me I'll be on the couch" She left him quietly and shut the door behind her.

Not to long after that the boys where tucked in their bunks and sound asleep. Y/N settled herself on the couch with a blanket and pillow, slowly drifting into sleep. Being tired from the training and emotional stress. That is until heavy foot steps echoed. Y/N could only guess who's steps those could be, not even asking question she called out to him. "Goku, everything okay?" She look towards the hall to see the man rubbing his eyes, standing only in sweatpants. The site made Y/N blush slightly but she quickly got rid of it after looking at his face. "Hey um, c-can you sleep next to me?" He sounded almost scared. "I-it's weird not feeling energy next to me a-and yeah" He sounded so shy but Y/n didn't hesitate, in all honestly she had always loved Goku but she didn't want to fuck up his wonderful relationship, so she kept all emotions at bay. "you sure?" she was willing of course, however not wanting to take advantage of him in anyway. "Yeah, that would help" He grabbed her hand and began to walk with her back up to the bedroom. As they passed the many room, a soft but shaken voice rang through the silence, "Y-Y/N?" Both looked back to see Goten holding the hand of Trunks who was half asleep peeking out from behind a door. " I uh I kinda had a nightmare, c-can we sleep with you guys?" He whispered cautious of the half asleep boy beside him.  "Oh Goten come on not bud, you're to old for this" Goku knew ChiChi would always comfort Goten, allowing him to sleep with them. But he did not want to cause anymore trouble than he already was. "Oh Hush Goku, Of course Goten my bed is big enough for the 4 of us" Y/N was quick to pick both boys up and carry them to the bedroom with Goku in close tow. As they all cuddled down together, for the first time all day, Goten and Goku felt comfort and safety. "Good night boys sweet dreams" Y/N gave each a kiss on their head. "Good night Y/N, we love you" Goten said slowly drifting to sleep.  "Y/N, thank you for everything" Goku said bringing her closer "Of course Goku" "I love you Y/N" He said also drifting. "I-good night Goku" Y/N knew she couldn't say it back because she would not mean it in the same way he did. 

After that night the boys moved in with Y/N. ChiChi and Goku got divorce a few months later after trying to work things out. With Y/N'S help Goku won custody over Goten, which he was thankful for but it was messy.  They agreeded that Goten was free to visit when ever he wanted, which was very little. Bulma was still mad at Trunks so Vegeta allowed him to stay with Y/N already annoyed with Bulmas increase in bitchy attitude. Some things went back to normal, Goku and Vegeta began to train together again, making sure to avoid Bulma. But other than that everything changed. Everyone basically Blacklisted Goku, Goten, and Trunks. ChiChi and Bulma continue to spread lies about Y/N and Goku's affairs. However The 4 accused where living rather peacefully, Y/N was going to college, taking some advice from Gohan and started studying Law, she also took on a part time job to help with food and everything. Goten and Trunks mostly stayed home and were doing online school. Even Goku got a part time job, he worked at a meat factory, perfect for him with all the heavy lifting and 'punching bag' as he had called the hanging meat. He was happy that he got to pick the job he wanted. However, all the peacefulness went out the door when an invitation was deliver to Goku by Gohan to a certain women's birthday part. (TO BE CONTIUNED)

🐟 when chuuya and dazai regress together i kind of imagine a big sibby little sibby situation, with chuuya being roughly 5 years old, and dazai being about 0-2. and so while theyre both regressing and chuuya isnt really any sort of caregiver in this situation, i like to think hes protective over the little baby! for example, of theyre playing together and dazai gets a boo boo, chuuya will be a good big kid and get dazai a bandaid and give him a kiss on his ouchie to make it all better!! dazai also is a bit clumsy and doesnt have the best control of his motor skills when hes regressed, so if he trys to walk around to get something, chuuya, knowing hes gonna stumble and fall on his face, will be like "no samu, m'gonna get it for you, you stay here, kay?", and he takes dazai by the shoulders and pushes him to sit back down so he can get whatever dazai needs (guys theyre so cute i cant)

🐌 as for nicknames, dazai calls chuuya- chibi, chichi (hes trying to say chibi but he has Baby Brain so the sounds get a little mixed up haha), chuu, or slug! chuuya calls dazai- zai, osamu/samu, and mackeral!! ‧₊˚ ⋅ sometimes when dazai is going down for a nap but chuuyas still awake, hell give him a bottle and let him rest in his lap and call him a good baby (which is very cute, as if chuuya is not only a few years older, and a very small little guy himself!)

🐟 as much as its cute, the idea of little chuuya watching out for babyzai, hes still a little baby himself! i think he thinks in his mind, when hes regressed, that hes so much bigger and tougher and scarier than he really is, lol, but at the end of the day chuuya just has always had a loyal, protective streak, and has trouble allowing himself to be the one whos cared for and has trouble allowing himself not to have any responsibilites. i think hell stay up even when he needs a nap if dazai wants to keep playing, yawning and half asleep, or hell let dazai hold his comfort items to make him feel better if hes upset, but still feel an ache in his heart and maybe tear up a bit seeing someone else holding the things that bring him comfort and are special to him. or if he gets an ouchie, hell tough it out through tears and sniffles and kiss his own boo boos better and put his own bandaids on so no one else has to worry about him :( chuuya reminds me of this poor little kitten :(

🐌 alas... dazai may be swimming through Baby Brain and not as sharp and calculated as he usually is, but hes still dazai, and he still knows chuuya better than anyone in the world. so he takes care of chuuya too, in his own way <3 like if chuuya was forcing himself to stay up for dazai, dazai would start to whine for a nap and sniffle how hes so sleepy and they should take a nap together! or the situation where chuuya will offer his comfort items up to dazai if hes crying or sad, dazai will sit on chuuyas lap and let both of them hold whatever item it is so that chuuya doesnt have to give his things up for dazai. or when chuuya gets owies and is sniffling and trying not to cry and to be strong and tough, dazai will give chuuya a gentle hug as he puts his bandaids on and kiss wherever he got hurt :')

🐟 a lot of their regressing together is taking care of each other, which is no different than when theyre not regressed, because theyre soukoku, theyre partners, theyre dazai and chuuya, its just what they do <3

🐌 when its only dazai thats regressed chuuya is adamant about dazai not having his fingers in his mouth, but when they regress together chuuya is too preoccupied by his headspace to pay that much attention to it. so dazai has the time of his life sucking his fingers and thumbs with no one rudely ripping them out of his mouth every chance they get cough chibi cough, haha. until chuuya feels dazais wet fingers when they snuggle and he whines at dazai, and finds the baby a pacifier lol

🐟 i think when theyre teenagers, after long, hard days with hard, exhausting missions, they both slip pretty easily. by the time they get home, dazai is sniffling and has that hazy, glassy, not all there look in his eyes, and chuuyas no better, clinging to dazais arm and biting his nails and tripping over his own two feet from exhaustion combined with feeling so small. the stress is what gets them, and they collapse onto bed together and cuddle and cling to each other (theyre absolutely inseperable when regressed, dazai will burst into tears if hes taken away from chuuya, seeing as hes his sibby, his caregiver, his partner, and in 22!era his boyfriend, and chuuya will get really mad if someone takes dazai away from him for the same reason). dazais sensory issues force them to get up and go change into jammies, and once theyre all cleaned up and comfy they go back into bed, stuck together like glue, and watch gentle kids shows/movies on tv until they inevitably fall asleep. they mumble small little "love yous" as they fall asleep, and chuuya squeezes dazai just a little tighter.

🐌 on a lighter note because that last one was a tad sad- they are absolute devils when regressed lol. its not intentional at all, theyre both very good little guys, but they just enable each other eay too much and always end up in a mess lol. for example, chuuya would get the bright idea to fingerpaint and two hours later theyre both covered in paint, glitter, and giggling together as dazai paints a heart on chuuyas cheek and chuuya picks glitter out of his hair lmao. or logically, chuuya will know they should have something healthy for dinner, but the second those blue and brown eyes land on the ice cream in the freezer its fate is decided and then they both have a sugar rush, and consequently a sugar crash and tummy aches later as well, haha. you cant blame them though, what 1 and 5 year old wouldnt want ice cream for dinner? besides, whos gonna tell them no? :)

🐟 dazais comfort items include: fishie, his fish plushie (reference to playroughs classification au :3), his pacifier, his bottle (or as he calls it his baba), and his blankie <3 chuuyas comfort items are his puppy plushie, a brown and white one with a little blue bowtie, his puppy rattle (dazai likes this one a lot sicne has a fan of soft sounds like rattles), and his sippy cup!!

🐌 theyre big fans of studio ghibli!! dazai is obsessed with kikis delivery service, he really likes jiji, and chuuya is a fan of totoro, spirited away, and especially howls moving castle. dazai usually lets chuuya pick what they watch, just in genereal because he never minded much and he always likes what chibi picks. his only problem is when chuuya picks paw patrol... hell pout and attempt to say that chuuya should be a part of the paw patrol since hes a puppy, but it just comes out as bitter mumbles. when chuuya watches paw patrol usually dazai just lets himself doze off while chuuya happily watches

Buddy's personality is oblivious (mostly to anyone who are romantically interested towards her), mortherly and sweetheart, she doesn't discriminate against others, but she's no pushover & she would be like either " a good mom scolding their kid/s" to a "very mama bear". "She's born blind but has great "6th sense", like can sense energy or ki or ghosts-like, but she oblivious of it. She's may be a human and no fighter, but knows some self-defense and some fighting styles.

Buddy can be a friends with Chichi & Bulma (or other Moms, like Pan & Android 18) & can be a babysitter & tutor to their kids.

Son Gohan found Buddy near the river.

He had simply gone out for a walk by a small river when he heard small cries.

The old man found a small basket caught in some roots of a nearby tree.

A small baby was crying her little lungs out.

By the looks of it, she had been out for a why.

Gohan quickly got the child from out of the basket and bundled her up.

It wouldn’t be until he got back to his home that Gohan realized that the child was blind.

Gohan looks down at the sleeping baby. Gohan: “Maybe just one night wouldn’t hurt. Tomorrow, I will take her to the adoption center.�� A week passes... The baby is napping in Gohan’s basket. Gohan: “All right. I need to take her tomorrow. I am an old man, I can’t be taking care of an infant.” 2 months pass… The baby is laughing hard as Gohan tickles her. Gohan then stops realizing he had gotten attached. Gohan: “… Well, it seems that I am going to have to name you. How about Buddy? Son Buddy.” The baby shrieks in laughter.

And that was how Gohan gained a granddaughter.

It would be a couple months later that he would also gain a grandson.

Son Goku.

A rowdy baby that mellowed out after his fall and bumped his head.

The strange boy loved being with his sister.

Always wrapping his tail around her foot or hand.

Buddy loved feeling the tail close.

When the babies came of age, he made sure to train them.

Both siblings had different types of training.

Goku had more traditional training comparing it to Buddy’s.

Since Buddy couldn’t see, she had started to develop heighten senses and some self-defense.

Though there was something that Gohan found a bit peculiar about Buddy.

Her sense of knowing where someone was.

The death of their grampa was hard on them both.

Especially Buddy who woke up screaming after not ‘feeling’ her grandfather and Goku being so far from home.

A couple of years would pass before Bulma would show up and their adventures would begin.

From meeting new friends.

From summoning Shenron.

From defeating the Red Ribbon Army.

From spending years away.

From the defeat of Piccolo.

Buddy stayed by her brother’s side.

Until he got married to Chichi.

Buddy had decided to travel to give her brother and new sister-in-law space.

Chichi hugs Buddy tightly. Chichi: “Are you sure you want to leave?” Buddy: “Its not like I’ll be gone forever Chichi. I’ll be back.” Goku: “Do you really have to go?” Buddy goes to hug her brother tightly. Buddy: “You need time with your family.” Goku: “But you are family.” Buddy: “Your new family. I promise I’ll come back. When have I ever broken a promise?” Goku smiles and hugs Buddy again while pressing the Power pole in her hand. Buddy smiles, slightly wishing to see her brother and sister-in-law’s face. They felt sad. Goku’s usual fire had dampened a bit. Chichi’s wasn’t as dampen but the shift was noticeable. Buddy: “Okay. I’ll be off now. Nimbus!” The yellow cloud zips over and helps Buddy to sit on it. Buddy: “Bye!” Goku and Chichi: “Bye!

Buddy had spent her time making friends and visiting new places.

As she said, she would return.

Though returning so soon wasn’t planned.

She had been flying on the Nimbus cloud when she felt a sudden spike of energy.

She didn’t know what it was but the last time something like this spike was on the day Grampa had died…

Meanwhile on Poazuo Mountain… Chichi is holding her swollen belly. Goku, the Ox King and the mid-wife are getting ready for the newest arrival of the Son family. Goku is holding Chichi’s hand. Goku: “I got you Cheech. I got you.” Chichi is breathing heavily and gripping hard. Chichi: “It *huff* too bad *gasp* your sister couldn’t be here.” Goku: “Yeah—” The door kicks open. Chichi screams in fright as the Ox King and Goku get into fighting position. Buddy is breathing heavily and looks frantic. Buddy: “What’s going on?!” Goku and Chichi: “Buddy?!”

And that’s how Buddy found out that she was going to be an aunt and had a nephew.

She isn’t afraid to admit that hearing that his name was Gohan brought some tears out.

Gently tracing her fingers across his face to ‘see’ him.

What caught her attention was how he felt.

There was something deep within this boy.

But it could all be in her head.

Buddy ended up becoming a permanent resident of the house.

Chichi didn’t mind it one bit.

Though she was worried that the baby would cause her trouble.

But that wasn’t the case.

In fact, Buddy was always the first one to know when Gohan was getting fussy and how to calm him down faster than his parents could.

Goku was thrilled to have all his family together.

It was a happy 4 years.

Until the day Goku took Gohan to kamehouse.

Buddy was supposed to go but decided to stay and give Chichi company.

They would go meet the others the next day.

She had been practicing training with the Power Pole when she felt Goku disappear.

Chichi jumped up in fright when she heard Buddy sobbing loudly.

The women would later find out what had happened to both Goku and Gohan.

Buddy made sure to stay by Chichi’s side.

That doesn’t mean that she didn’t go looking for Gohan either.

She just looked for him at night to not scare Chichi.

One night after weeks of ki searching, she found him…with Piccolo’s nearby.

Buddy floats by Piccolo’s side. Buddy: “Piccolo.” Piccolo: “Son.” Buddy: “You have exactly one minute to explain what is going on before I jam this pole down your throat for murdering my brother and taking my nephew away from his family.” Piccolo: “Please, you don’t have the training—” The Namekian is caught off guard when the Power pole appears a mere couple of inches away from his face. Buddy’s face held determination. The same one that her brother held, whether she knew it or not. A minute of that days events are summarized as well as Gohan’s training. Buddy: “…Fine.” Piccolo: “Fine?” Buddy: “I know Gohan has great potential and to be honest, you are probably the only one who can teach him without breaking an arm. I would but…” She motions to her blank eyes. Buddy: “But I have free access to visit him when I want.” Piccolo: “You’ll be coddling him.” Buddy: “He is just a little boy alone in the forest. I was in his shoes once upon a time Piccolo, and if I’m not mistaken so were you.” Piccolo: “What point are you trying to make Son?” Buddy: “Didn’t you ever want someone around when you were alone?” Piccolo: “No.” Buddy: “Your ki says otherwise.” This comment caught Piccolo’s attention. Buddy: “I’m just visiting Piccolo; I am not undoing your training. Now are you with me or against me?” Piccolo: “…Only if you tell me more about you sensing my ki.” Buddy: “Deal. Now if you excuse me, I have a nephew to go see.” Piccolo: “But you can’t?”

Gohan barreled straight into his aunts’ arms as soon as she stepped off of the Nimbus cloud.

Buddy felt so horrible leaving him alone, even if he tried to reassure her.

She took time tracing his face and arms, noticing the changes of being out in the wilderness for so long.

Telling Chichi about the training was probably one of the deadliest things she had to do.

Both women held each other knowing there wasn’t much they could do now.

Soon enough the year had passed and the Saiyans had arrived.

Buddy had arrived to Kamehouse the day before in preparation.

It wasn’t the reunion that she had hoped for, she would need to make it up to them afterwards.

It was agony hearing what was going on through the tv and feeling the battle.

Apparently the Saiyans had lied because there was one more Sayian with them and not what had been told.

Grasping to her friends for dear life with each ki disappearing, holding hope that Goku would arrive soon.

Buddy jumped for joy feeling Goku’s amazing ki.

Helping Goku, Gohan and Krillin best she could at the hospital.

Sneaking into the Namekian ship.

She was not going to stand by for this one!

Bulma: “Hey Krillin, can you go to the closet and get the bucket?” Gohan: “I got it!” Krillin: “Don’t worry Gohan I got this.” Krillin opens the door. Krillin: “Lets see, clothes, shoes, suit, Buddy, bags, ah here’s the bucket!” He closes the door with the bucket in hand before freezing. He drops the bucket and opens the door again. Krillin: “Buddy!?” Buddy: “Hi Krillin!” Krillin: “Why are you here!?”

Buddy has officially joined the crew!

Gohan was thrilled to have his aunt with him but also worried for her.

Back on Earth…

Everyone was slightly panicking hearing that Buddy was in space with Bulma, Krillin and Gohan.

Goku tried to keep them calm, but he was worried as well.

Buddy remained with Bulma for most of the trip.

Meeting Vegeta and this other Saiyan.

What was his name?

Table?

No…

Tarble!

He was much more polite than this Vegeta character.

Vegeta felt a lot like Gok’s ki but at the same time different.

Spikier, angrier, more compressed.

Tarble was similar to Vegeta’s but calmer.

The only time she was separated from Bulma was when the entire planet started shaking.

Next thing she knew she was back on Earth.

Smiles a bit hearing Vegeta and Tarble stumbling on their words when Bulma invites them to stay at capsule Corp.

Holds onto Chichi and Gohan once they are all together.

Tight hugs to all her revived friends.

Absolutely slaps Roshi on the back of the head for making a rude comment about Chichi being the reason Goku didn’t come home.

Soon enough the news of Frieza and King Cold arriving to Earth made it to the Z warriors.

Buddy and Bulma hitched a ride on Yamcha and Krillin.

Buddy turns her head around. Tien notices first. Tien: “Buddy?” Buddy: “Someone’s here.” Vegeta rolls his eyes. Vegeta: “I am not taking advice from a blind woman.” Tarble: “Vegeta.” Buddy: “It’s coming from over there.” Cue Future Trunks finishing of Frieza and King Cold.

The newcomer, someone who felt very familiar for some reason, was the one who told them of Goku’s return.

Goku returns brings in the future threat of the Android’s of the future.

Time for the 3 years of training.

It’s during this time that Buddy starts coming over to Capsule Corp more and more.

All thanks to a certain someone.

Tarble, Vegeta’s younger brother.

Buddy is sitting on the sofa with Bulma while Tarble sits on one chair and Vegeta on the farthest one. Buddy suddenly turns to Tarbles direction. Buddy: “Tarble? Can I see you?” Tarble and Vegeta raise their eyebrows. Bulma: “She means that she wants to feel your face.” Tarble: “Umm, okay?” He stands up and sits next to her. Vegeta raises his eyebrow in disgust. Vegeta: “Are you really going to—” Tarble: “Shh! Buddy, I’m here.” Buddy slowly and gently traces his face. Tarble just stares at her face. Buddy smiles when she finishes. Buddy: “Thank you. I’m guessing that Vegeta wouldn’t let me do this right?” Tarble laughed a bit. Tarble: “He left as soon as you were done.”

Bulma and Vegeta’s relationship was not surprising to Buddy.

What was surprising was the baby.

The baby felt almost exactly like the stranger from the future.

Once the day of the Android’s arrived Buddy stayed at capsule corp.

She figured since she wasn’t going to be much help during the fight, she might as well help Ms. Brief in making a big feast.

Buddy was not accounting for the number of times she nearly fell to her knees feeling her friends, her family’s ki nearly disappeared.

Enter Cell.

Buddy demanded to go to the Lookout.

Happy reunion with Dende.

Sadly, under these circumstances.

Enter Cell Games.

Buddy didn’t leave her family for anything.

She couldn’t explain it, but she somehow knew something bad was going to happen.

Buddy is laying by Goku and Krillin’s side. Buddy: “…You promise me you’re going to be okay.” Goku: “Hmm?” Buddy: “Don’t do anything dumb on the day of the Games.” Goku: “Don’t worry about it Buddy.” Buddy: “Krillin you’ll look after him, right?” Krillin: “I’ll do what I can Buddy.” Timeskip to Goku throwing the Sensu Bean at Cell. Buddy straightens up suddenly. Buddy: “Something just happened…”

Buddy felt the exact moment Gohan went Super Saiyan 2.

The ki going off was almost overwhelming.

Screams feeling Goku and Trunks ki disappearing.

Poor Dende does his best to comfort her.

The final Kamehame wave was so great it overwhelmed her senses from the Lookout.

Buddy couldn’t feel or hear correctly, not even Dende’s healing powers were doing much.

Buddy is gripping on the tile floors the moment Dende’s hand left her’s. Mr. Popo tried to hold her’s but the shaking wasn’t helping. There were tears going down her face as everything still felt numb and out of place. Gohan sits up after being healed and notices his aunt on the ground. Gohan: “Auntie!” He tries to move but Piccolo and Krillin hold him down. Tarble had sent down Trunk’s body and ran to her. Tarble: “Buddy? Buddy its me!” He placed his hand in hers, firmly lacing it in his. Buddy blinks as her senses slowly start coming back. The ki… Buddy: “T-Tarble?” Tarble: “I’m here Buddy… I’m here…”

Buddy was grateful that Tarble’s hand never left hers, especially when Goku announced he was no longer coming back.

When the message was sent, she grabbed Gohan’s hand and held it.

Telling Chichi was one of the worst things she had to do.

It only made her feel worse when realizing that Chichi was pregnant.

Buddy made sure to stay by her sister-in-laws side.

She had surprised her by actually creating a large farm and cultivating many vegetables to sell.

The boys eventually helped once they figured out their aunt was doing this alone.

Buddy was there to help Gohan control his anger and help him grieve.

Babysitting Goten, which soon automatically included Trunks.

Making sure that Chichi took a break every now and then.

Both women ended up becoming maids of honor at Bulma’s wedding.

Everyone saw how close Buddy was dancing with Tarble at the reception.

Krillin told Buddy first about his relationship to Android 18.

She made sure to send a clear message to the woman about even considering on hurting Krillin.

18 had to give respect to the blind woman.

More respect was earned when she seemed to be the only one to ‘sense’ her going into labor and demanding Krillin get the midwife ready.

Marron was added to the list of kids to babysit.

All the women have a monthly mandatory Girl’s Night.

Buddy, Bulma, Chichi, and 18 are having their girl’s night at one of Capsule Corp’s lounges. Chichi: “Buddy. There is something we want to tell you.” Buddy: “Hm?” Bulma: “Its something we’ve been thinking about for a while.” 18: “And not to beat around the bush.” She gave the others a pointed look. Chichi: “We’ve decided to make you the kids Godmother.” Buddy: “…Really?” Bulma: “Of course!” A wobbly smile appears on Buddy’s face as she tries to cover it. Sniffles start coming out. 18 raises an eyebrow, not expecting this response. 18: “Buddy?” Buddy: “I-I’m fine. I—I—I just never expected—this.” She tries wiping her tears but more just keep coming. Buddy: “I just don’t know what to say…” Bulma: “Well maybe if you go and date Tarble you can make it up to us.” Buddy: “Tarble is my friend.” Chichi: “Your future boyfriend.” Buddy: “He doesn’t like me like that Chichi.” 18: “He always stares at you from across the room.” Buddy: “How am I supposed to know that 18?”

i’d actually like to know what you think of Goku. give me your rant; i want to know everything. how you think he thinks, what he thinks of his friends/ enemies, his relationship with Chichi, his sons, everything. what his motivations are, how he handles negative emotions… yeah. everything.

People always think goku is “selfish” but honestly he’s not anymore selfish than anyone else in dragon ball. Toriyama says he’s not a hero and he isn’t he does love fighting and fights for himself (and gohan at times) but he also helps people when he can like upa. Goku loves his friends especially krillin his best friend the first time krillin dies is the second time we see goku cry in the series. The second time krillin dies is enough for goku to turn super saiyan out of anger bc krillin couldn’t be brought back to life. People say goku is a bad friend because he doesn’t visit his friends but they could visit him. His enemies are just that he would give them a second chance sometimes but I genuinely don’t believe he would let frieza be brought back to life. Despite what most people think goku does love chichi even dbs made him really angry when goku black kills her and goten in another timeline and the dbz anime gives him flashes of her when he’s in trouble. In the manga (from what I seen) there isn’t much of chichi so that’s what people base goku off of but there isn’t set canon just because toriyama says/ draws something it makes it canon. Also that goku doesn’t kiss his wife was a dumb joke please let it go. Honestly I have no idea why people think goku is bad father like he was literally dead and even piccolo says gohan was spoiled. Dying for your son is something many fathers wouldn’t even do (I know mine fucking wouldn’t) but he did it twice. The sensu bean thing is overblown it was him putting faith in gohan and him leaving earth was him giving gohan and everyone else peace he even says this himself. I’ve even seen people give him shit for not hugging goten in the manga but if people read it piccolo interrupted them. I genuinely believe if goku knew chichi was pregnant he would’ve stayed. His motivations are to find strong opponents and fight them it’s simple but like goku said himself he can’t just let people be destroyed. I think goku bottles up most of his negative emotions mostly his sadness I know he misses his grandpa and is devastated that he’s the one that killed him

Ayoo! This is just a little introduction and lore-dump post about Chiseaux

Everything will be under the cut!

Chiseaux is a very old fairy that acts very awkward and sucks at socializing but he is very very sweet especially if he feels comfortable around you.

He is the son of one of the first ever Spring Fairy Royal Families together with his brother that was very dear to him. Back in the days there were multiple royalties that ruled over the land and instead of working together they fought about the land and started attacking and slandering each other since they could never agree with each other.

Chiseauxs brother and the rest of the family got tragically killed while he was the only one that was left alive, but only for one reason.

He was used a dartboard for shame and humiliation. With this way the new king would show his triumph over Chiseauxs family. Parts of this humiliation were that he got his wings ripped out and having to live in a disgusting Jail were he ended up spending most of the time, starving, and never seeing the beauty of the sunlight outside for years. He starting to grow an inhuman amount of hatred against other fairies for everything they did to him and his family.

This blind and raging hatred gave power to a weird being, a bodyless form of darkness that came up to him and offered him powerful magic and a new pair of gorgeous wings to show everyone that they messed with the wrong one. In exchange, the being wanted that they could take control over Chiseauxs body sometimes. Since Chiseaux was at the most sad point of his life he agreed to this and revenged his family, killing the new Royals in cold blood with the new powers he was having.

After his blind rage was satisfied,  he quickly noticed that this was surely not the right decision and ran away from the spring kingdom to a place where nobody could hopefully find him. During that time he didn't knew what to do with his life anymore and traveled around for many many hundred years and noticed after all the horrors he has been through, how beautiful the world actually can be. He saw people helping each other, supporting each other, creating beautiful inspiring things!!

From that day one he never wanted to feel the feeling of hatred ever again, he wanted to enjoy life, wanted to create beautiful things to share happiness to others and make the world even more beautiful. So after many hundreds years of traveling, he got back to the spring Kingdom which is now the  beautiful place that we know today and became a Designer for clothes and many other things. He also became the counselor of the Spring Royal Family and is sometimes seen in the Spring Castle.

But even if he learned that hate is never the right way to base your actions on, the evil being still lives inside his mind and takes control whenever he suffers a breakdown, gets sensitive or feels vulnerable.

As much as Chiseaux would love to have friends, he hides himself often in fear that the monster in his head takes control and hurts the other person that he likes since he can never remember what the evil being did when it takes control of his body. It often lead to very awkward and shameful situations already. He actually needs a lot of help but is ashamed to ask for it..

Chiseaux usually calls the evil being that is with him "Hate" or "Hatred" since it doesn't have a name.

Hatred is a devilish and manipulative formless being that got born from black magic and the hatred of fairies that they have towards each other. The more someone hates something, the stronger this evil being will get. Hatred's  plan is to kill Royal family members or even innocent people, it wants that fairies start to hate and distrust each other so it becomes more and more powerful. But do not worry. Chichi does everything so this won't happen! But maybe... just maybe...he could need a little help with that. He doesn't know how to get this devil out of his head so hopefully time might help and someone has an idea.

Funfacts: 1.Chiseaux can't fly, he is too weak for that. He can only move the wings a little. 2. Hatred can fly tho. 3.Chichi is his nickname shsh, poor guy is very touch starved and unloved for many years so any appreciating comments or physical affection make him explode (in a positive way) 4. He loves discovering different traditions. He uses it for inspiration. 5. he only goes out at night when he is in the summer kingdom. He can't bare the hot sun XD. 6. The vampire teeth aren't naturally, he got them after the pact with hatred. 7.he stopped aging after the pact with Hatred. 8. He can use the magical walking stick and the magical needle around his waist as rapiers (these swords can create poison at their tips so be careful)

🐉 Next Time On South Park Z 🐉

The couple of all time 💝

Here it is, the true (super belated) Valentine’s Day picture. Yet another cringe crossover absolutely nobody asked for yet I deliver because I can. Apologies if I’ve been posting way too much South Park stuff, it’s yet another franchise that I’m currently unhealthily hyper-fixated on. Enjoy some more Randy and Sharon appreciation art from me, because these two dorks are just everything to me <3

This was also made as a small tribute to Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball after I found out that he passed away earlier this month on March 1st. Even though I’m a casual fan of the series, still makes me sad that he’s no longer and that we lost another anime/manga legend.

This whole art became a thing based on a phone call between me and one of my older brothers. We were just talking about random dumb stuff and he jokingly asked me to draw Cartman as Naruto and Kyle as Saskue (which is an art project that y’all know damn well I’ll be drawing in the future so look out for that lmao). I just started laughing to myself, but then I thought to myself, “What other anime could I cross over with South Park?” then Dragon Ball popped up in my head all of a sudden, and that’s how this cringefest came to be.

I can kinda see some connections with it, tbh. Both Goku and Randy are dumbass but funny as hell dads (they also have black hair), and both Chichi and Sharon are no-nonsense moms who are often exasperated by their hubbies’ idiotic actions, but do love them deep down and have shared some wholesome cute moments together with them. Both series also feature a lot of fighting and deaths too lol

And since it is the year of the dragon, this pic is pretty fitting :>

I thought I would take forever with this picture because a. I’m total garbage at drawing realistic-ish, non-animal guy characters, and b. I don’t draw side-view faces that much, but surprisingly it wasn’t too hard. I did get kinda lazy with the lower half of Randy’s body and didn’t draw it, but besides that, the whole art was pretty easy. Minus drawing the hands. Because Jesus tap dancing Christ, the hands took me lightyears to get right 🙃

All in all, this might be one of my favorite 2024 pieces of art I’ve drawn so far. Again, these two are special to me, and I finally got the chance to cross over some of my favorite things, cartoons and anime. Maybe I might draw Stan and Wendy as Gohan and Videl in the future as a little follow-up ^^

Also, the mental image of Randy going Super Saiyan is just the funniest shit to me, istg someone needs to make fanart, an animation, or some other sort of meme of that 💀

UlquiHime fans rise up😭💖🗿🙏🏽I tried drawing the two in goth outfits and thought it’d be cute if Orihime tried out Ulquiorra’s fashion aesthetic. Also I rly loved thinking of Ulquiorra as an angel and Orihime as a demon but I’m not gonna finish it lmao.

Unrelated sketches I made based off references with the pink backgrounds, I feel like my unfiltered style really shows through with those sketches.

Kaiba but with a Cubone concept. I thought it’d be sad and cool if there was an au where he was raised by Blue eyes white dragons or along the lines of being so intrigued with them as like a scientist and ends up bonding with them and mourning. He uses a blue eyes dragon skull as a helmet and given that the canon dragons are way bigger it makes the context of the drawing a bit sad since the only kind of dragons skull that would fit him like this is that of a baby or younger dragon.

Lastly a mini color study I did with Angelique Boyer in Lo Que La Vida Me Robo. She’s always been iconic to me bc I grew up watching her in telenovelas, she’s so pretty😭😭💖🎀😔✨🙏🏽🗣️

Character ask : Anya Chichi

Anya Forger

First impression: Oh she looks cute. Hope she doesn't turn into a plot device. Impression now: My adorable chaotic gremlin who has more agency and control in the story than her spy and assassin parents <3 Favorite moment: I think I'll choose the moment where she rescues the drowning boy in episode 11. She's kind and selfless enough to risk her life to save him, and she didn't even hesitate to jump into the pool like how brave is that kid! And since she didn't want to expose her secret she took it all upon her to act and save him herself. Idea for a story: I think it'll be wasted potential if we never learn about the scientists who created her and their motives, so I think a story of her being taken by them will be interesting, albeit sad, until at least her parents come and kick ass to save her. Unpopular opinion: I don't ship Damιanya and that seems to be quite the unpopular opinion in this fandom... Even if they're aged up and Damian actually treats her decently, I still don't think they'd make an interesting couple. Favorite relationship: Anya with Papa and Mama. Don't make me choose! Favorite headcanon: I genuinely wonder if Endo is ever gonna explain why she has those little hats on her head, and I think it would be hilarious for them to be just hair clips that she wears literally 24/7. So my headcanon for that is that Anya is just stylish!

Loid Forger

First impression: LOL that's a way to break up with your girlfriend. Is he just gonna be one of those boring protagonists whose only character traits is past trauma and being OP? Impression now: If anyone hurts him I will commit several felonies. But please hurt him I want the whump :3 Favorite moment: Bench scene after Yor kicks the living daylights out of him. The vulnerable moment of him remembering his mother and opening up to Yor about that because we know it's real and not for the mission is unparalleled. Chef's kiss. Idea for a story: Okay okay hear me out. We know that he's a very disciplined spy so if he's ever caught he has to be caught in the act. Mere evidence won't do because he'll deny any involvement to hell and back and be pretty convincing about it. So he has to be caught red-handed. And an idea for that is, he's disguised himself as Yuri because for Reasons he has to infiltrate the SSS offices, but then for some reason the actual Yuri appears there too. "Yuri" and Yuri fight, and an incompetent officer finds them, aiming his gun at them. Twilight is silent, but Yuri tries to convince the guy that's he's the real Yuri and he should shoot the fake one. The guy says that "Only a spy would act like that" and shoots. While that happens, within a split second Twilight thinks "I have to let him die. I have to get out of here. I have to let him die." But he just cannot do that because he knows how much it would devastate Yor to lose her brother... so he pushes him out of the way and takes the bullet instead. Maybe not anywhere too dangerous, like his arm or something. But it's enough to slow him down as he tries to escape, and he's finally caught while still wearing a mask with Yuri's face. You can imagine Yuri's shock and horror when he realizes it's "Loi-Loi", who is a spy and tried to infiltrate the offices and also saved his fucking life. Because as many lies as he's said, Yuri has absolute proof that this man really does love his sister. I want this to happen so much you have no idea. Unpopular opinion: I've yet to read the manga and anything that explores his backstory but I think it's easy to think he'd abandon his spy work after he realizes he loves his family and wants to spend his life with them. Which yeah it's what we want for him but I think his desire for peace tops even his love for his family. He'd rather break his own heart along with theirs and leave if it means he can keep working as a spy and protect the fragile peace. Which is why I feel that the story cannot end without Ostania's government falling, and the new, more democratic government either signing a secure peace treaty with Westalis or uniting under one nation. Favorite relationship: Loid and Anya. Look I love twiyor as much as the next shipper but the father/daughter feelz was one of the things that hooked me into the show so it's the one I want more of. Favorite headcanon: I once read a post talking about how people from Westalis may have a different accent than people from Ostania, and now I cannot get that idea out of my mind. I think it would be interesting to see Twilight suddenly drop all pretenses and start speaking with the accent he grew up using, allowing himself to connect with that old part of himself he kept hidden. I doubt they'd do that in the anime (and since I watch the Japanese version I don't think I'd notice the difference) but it's still a very interesting headcanon.

Okay, I'll give you a third, fourth, fifth, EVERY REASON to never watch Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball anon was talking shit, the car episode is no different to the rest of the series, which is actually fucking horrible. Not only is it boring as fuck (yes, they really do stand around and power up for like 20 episodes at a time with maybe one badly animated punch thrown in every now and then), but has introduced some of the worst characters and tropes in fiction. Master Roshi is a rapist pedophile who started the pervert trope in anime, 16-year-old Bulma is drawn with her vagina and tits out for comedy (and don't even get me started on ChiChi), Mr. Popo is THE most racist depiction of blackface in media (which they STILL haven't fixed, yet fans love him) and Vegeta... oh dear lord Vegeta... Vegeta is a NAZI who crosses the moral event horizon tenfold yet is given an instant redemption because Akira Toriyama wanted to give him an "uwu edgy sad boi" backstory (guess who's also a fan favourite). You know all those shitty redemption stories we have nowadays, like why Rebecca Sugar forgave literal nazis? GUESS WHICH SHOW ALSO HAS DRAGON BALL REFERENCES!

Speaking of Akira Toriyama, the man is literally a disgusting piece of shit. He penned the "Lady Red" comic (where the joke is a woman gets raped and becomes a sex worker, yes, really) and said in an interview that he wishes to become so senile when he's older that he ends up raping his granddaughter. He also said in regards to comedy that "any humorous work should aspire to not be like The Big Bang Theory, but regardless it's more important to worry about high stakes over fun".

I know you said that you weren't interested any way but I IMPLORE you to let your fans know too and take an active stand against this nightmare fuel. It's literally the Birth Of A Nation of our modern age, and I'm disgusted that not only does cartoon fandom hold it in such high regard, but it's becoming popular with zoomers too. I nearly broke down when I saw Dragon Ball toys at my local toy store.

Dragon Ball fans over the age of 13 are truly fucking evil, and we need to punch them like the nazis they are.

you know i dont think the ox king was necesarily a Bad parent but when you think about it i think it makes sense that chichi turned out so fucked up. like the ox king loves in the middle of nowhere with a reputation of being super fucked up and dangerous and was willing to threaten bulma and goku with death for trespassing so like. i think chichi was never necessarily mistreated but also had no basis to form a normal moral compass you know. and like they live so secluded in the middle of (1/2)

(2/2) nowhere but she already has such strong and rigid cisheteronormative, almost FAIRY TALE like ideas of what love is and whats important in life. and i think in the absence of a proper understanding of the world she just modeled her whole everything on emulating her fantasy ideal of a housewife. and like the ox king is chill and all but he is just incapable of recognizing his daughter is going to grow up to be just so fucked up.

I want to let you know that I agree entirely and that I like what you've said here and the way in which you've said it. She was isolated as a youth and her notions of the world are ABSOLUTELY fantastical and unrealistic. Despite her father coming around and having a big sociable palace by the end of dragon ball, Chichi still wants to get her own place far away and live in the middle of nowhere with Goku and to raise their kids there. This isn't good for any of them. They have no money. She beats her kids

Chichi is so fucked up and unaware about it ... It makes me sad like I WISH that we had proof that she gets out and socializes often at least !! But she's too busy COOKING which is CRAZY because again she could have stayed at her father's palace or at least nearby and had other people help her cook. Madness

I don't know why she's like this ... her patterns of insanity and insecurity are mysteries to me ... I did notice that when she was a kid when she was scared she would absolutely fend off the attacker perfectly but she would also be crying for help and cowering the whole time. And during the Piccolo Jr v. Goku fight Chichi was just begging the whole time "somebody do something." Like she just wants HELP she wants someone to do it FOR HER. Like she was neglected or something. Like there's some wound that she hasn't recovered from. The Ox King was good to her but he's still only one man.

I don't know what's going on with Chichi but I do know that she is explosive and lets herself be a victim to grief. Beyond that she is so detached from herself that she is delusional. She's modeled her life after all that she could - the stable, secure, strict, and promising ideals of matrimony and mate loyalty. That's the only grasp she has honestly and she melts every time her husband leaves.

Very compelling character tbh. We need to get various people's psychoanalytical perspectives on her stat

chichis mindset is fun to walk around in because like she's Polite as a rule and cares a lot about being respectable and living up to a certain standard, and yet she is also a woman who lets any emotion she has flow utterly freely whether its joy, sadness, or blistering fury. if you incite her wrath she will shout and scream at you but she'll never call you a fucking dipshit because well that would just be untoward...
