this one is my rewritten version of charlie, her name now is Cisic Royal Pride, I change her name because she is meant to be the representation of perfection so what's more perfect than a palindrome, I tried not to change it too much.

this two are me figuring out the hair, face shape and colors so I will not fall into the pit from before.

I really like the first one ngl.

now this one is just me figuring out her design as a whole, I like this, really like this, I will just alter some details and stuff.

so as you can see she have a peacock veil in her clothes, that I will change later, but why? well is simple, peacocks can be associated with pride and since I wanted to give my designs my own twist with the mythos and the concept of a good place and a bad place I decided to put peacock elements on her.

she's more peacock inspired than a peacock demon but her more infernal form is basically a purple peacock with various eyes.

and the other deadly virtues/deadly sins will be also inspired by the animals that represents them and of course that the animals that represents them changes over time so some will have more than one animal *cof* *cof* mammon *cof* *cof*

Idk how tf I will make his design tbh.

And also the deadly sins and other demons that are nobility in hell, are just close to the deadly virtudes or are their childs will have flowers that represent the deadly virtude in their designs! and even tho my heaven is the one that is suppose to have this flowers symbolisms, wich they have, in hell will be their dried versions or a hellshi version of them so it will not look like heaven :D

also I thinking of making a proper blog for the after tale (my hazbin hotel rewrite) but I don't know if you all will like it so...

just to remenber everyone and warn to those who don't know, my hazbin hotel rewrite is for pure fun, I do not claim I making it a gazillion% better than the og, I simply making my own version of it so I can train my writting and character design and also show it to anyone interested in.

Vaggie Redesign and Charlie Re-redesign! I love the girlfriends<3 but anyway, yeah, I changed Charlie to look snake and goat like- goat features will be coming from Lilith and snake features coming from Lucifer. Also, Vaggie is indeed still an angel, which is why her "wings" (wings she can turn into a cape thingy) are golden looking, with stitches. (Placement of stitches might change in the future)

i wanted Charlie to normally look soft and friendly, so I gave her a softer body (chubby cheeks, tummy, and thighs) and a fluffy pixie cut, but i wanted also to convey the tucked away anger and fear within her by showing pieces of her more demonic form in her claws, horns, and chaotic eyes. she was given four goat-like ears and a long, serpentine tail to show that she was more than any sinner, and rather a being far more powerful and ethereal than at first glance.

for her clothing, she has a style reminiscent of the 1960s and 1970s, as those decades were huge in the act of political and social change and their aesthetics are very warm and nostalgic.

Charlie has been alive for a long time, so while she was growing she used that time to educate herself on many topics. She has ten Ph. D.s in Psychology, five degrees in Architecture, and five in fine arts history. Despite Charlie's clear intelligence, she isn't always the most confident in herself, often letting others use her under the guise of being kind.

expanding on my take for Hazbin Hotel; basically Charlie and Vaggie are angels helping sinners get redeemed, Charlie moreso than Vaggie but yk

•Charlie might be a bit too small? she's cute nontheless. anyways, Charlie is probably just going to be a regular angel and not a seraphim. though, as interesting as it is, i just didnt think about that beforehand so she's probably just being regular. i could maybe work in the seraphim aspect in some way but im not sure rn

•Vaggie is an exorcist but is being forced into Charlie's bodyguard/assistant by Adam, though that's the only help he'll be giving Charlie and her project

•im thinking of making all of the exorcists 80s rock inspired harpies cuz it makes some sense i guess 🤷 just thought it would be cool honestly. hopefully Vaggie doesn't look too out of place?

•Angel is their first resident, purely on accident cuz he just planned on crashing there for maybe a night or so but somehow got dragged into actually participating; maybe he has a soft spot deep down or its his secret desire to redeem himself to see his twin sister? who really knows

•Alastor is only there to cause chaos really, in some way im not entirely sure of yet. but Charlie allows him to stay and "help" because she believes he actually has good inside him; spoiler alert: he does not!!

•back to Vaggie really quick, but im thinking about having her pull out her weapon from like her body or maybe her halo or maybe even her wings cuz that's so much cooler than her just carrying around the thing

•i didnt add Nifty or Husk mainly because i didnt know how to fit them in, Nifty could possibly work in the future if i thought about it more but idk. i dont care much for Husk personally so that's another reason

•the opposing forces against Charlie and her rag-tag group will be the three Vees. Vox and Al have their beef, Angel and Val also have issues with each other, and for Velette: im thinking she could butt heads with Charlie, and Vaggie by extension because she's Charlie's obligatory bodyguard, but mostly Charlie.

•Sir P might play a role in the future but that would be when we would know more about the main characters and the Vees. Cherri might too, but she'll stay just as Angel's friend for now who shows up every once and now to try to ruin his progress, not because she doesnt want him succeed but because drugs and alcohol are the only things she knows that makes him happy, and she usually takes him out after he vents to her about Val and work

Some thoughts for reimagining hazbin hotel-

First Charlie (lemme know if you want pics)

Charlie character info:

Charlotte (Charlie) Morningstar, daughter of Lucifer and Lilith, Charlie has a pretty skewed view on sinners. Her dads disdain for them and mothers kinship made her see them more as animals to look down at and pity. She didn’t get much attention from her father but learnt about strength and democracy through her mother. In any case interactions with her fsther in public were the only time she could talk to him. And in those times emphasis on punishment and redemption were spoken to her. She took on a very “matronly” (like in sisters of a nunnery) way of taking care of sinners. But the public and her fellow royals of hell barely cared about her. To fix her image she decided to set about on a business venture to “redeem” sinners. Not actually caring about their redemption- more so to look like a good person. She has sway with the angels and most she meets are willing to cave so as to keep the extermination going. She’s pleased with this but when the next extermination happens after she negotiates with them she meets Vaggie. Taking her in, and slowly getting more swayed towards her and the idea of actual redemption. (She starts acting more like herself the closer she gets to Vaggie.)

-Reimagined/Redesigned The king of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar OR Lucifer Dawnbringer as imma call him, from Hazbin Hotel. Saying it now I don't like the show that much, or the creator at all. This was me creating him how I saw him. Especially after I found his character goofy in the sense he was a lil guy who liked ducks. I decided he was my first character to recreate - I already did Vaggie and Alastor idk who to do next maybe Angel or Charlie

-To put it simply he looked so young. If I didn't know who he was l'd think he was Charlie's brother. He also didn't scream "the big bad king of hell" to me. So I made him older, and ginger haired referencing the paintings of the guy. A Halo like crown and wings. Made his hair longer, and kept him relatively " animation friendly " according to some Stan's of the show. And I gave him a beard. Whenever I see the redesigns with a beard I do a flip. I’d think of him as of course a bit brooding, has realistic thoughts with his daughters hotel. However I’d see him as someone who’s interested in the creations his daughter creates. As well as those serious people who find the silliness shit funny, but hides it with a straight face.

(Note) so I went back and looked at it and this design and the redesign from Loveart23 do have some similarities- And some people asked if I got inspired. No not really actually 😭. I used some concepts from my old persona outfit into his clothes and went for a rouge priest look???? And added colors from the show and colors I added - I think a few changes a few outfit elements could work because I think that looks the most similar. So expect a change in his outfit with his daughter soon.

Morningstar family redesigns

I kinda wanted to expand on my choices for my redesigns for fun

So first, Lucifer. I really don’t have a lot of issues with his original design, I think it’s fun and fits within the Hazbin universe! I just wanted to reimagine him.

I always liked the idea of Lucifer having curly reddish hair, something about his fall turning his hair red (this design isn’t 100% biblically accurate as it is just for fun), but I toned down the red to be closer to his original blonde since I also like blonde Lucifer, and I figured he’d liked to keep his hair neat so I decided to put it up and take away the hat

I wanted to keep the ring leader theme in his outfit, but I wanted to further incorporate the snake element in his design since I think he’d be proud of his fall (hence why his suit looks burnt and torn, and he shows off his burnt arm, I figured he’d do this intentionally to remind others of his rebellion)

Lastly I changed the entire family’s main colors to purple, as biblically out of the 7 sins Pride is purple and since he’s supposed to rule pride in the show I figured he’d be more purple themed then red, pretty simple🙏

Next Lilith, I think she was the only one out of the three where I didn’t really like her original design. Not only because she didn’t have much going on, but she also looked really similar to Lucifer, to the point where they almost look blood related.

I think Viv’s choices for Lilith were a bit odd, as she had SOO much potential that just wasn’t used.

I kept her blonde hair but I gave it some tan undertones and I put it up into a semi-low slicked back pompadour inspired by some hairstyles you might see young women have in the early 1900s or late 1800s, but I gave her a little down section that fades into a dark purple and looks somewhat feathery due to one adaption of her describing her as a “screech owl”. I kept the purple theme somewhat like the original and plus she technically rules over pride as well, I would have loved to have given her a red theme if pride was red.

Based on these different adaptations of Lilith a took inspiration from each, giving her a flame-themed dress and the upper body of a beautiful women yet still somewhat demon-like, I also put some fluff at the bottom of her dress since I thought it looked kinda like smoke puffs and clouds. Her stomach is covered with gold rings that look somewhat like a snake belly, and I gave her a necklace with a style inspired by some eastern jewelry, the jewels on her necklace are each the color of one of the 7 sins which I thought would be a fun touch and a little bit of a “showing off” of her role as the queen of hell.

lastly I kept her horns since she is meant to be a succubus, but I stylized them a bit to look less like those big ram-like ones since I didn’t really like how odd they looked against her head. I also gave her long slender fingers that faded to a black naturally as in biblical lore she steals babies from mothers and I thought making her hands that she stole the children with look creepy and eerie yet still beautiful was a nice touch.

Lastly, Charlie! Again, I didn’t really have a problem with the original design. I changed her suit color and theme to prides color, put I made her hair curlier and more red/orange like her dads, and I wanted some parts of her suit to resemble his a bit hence the buttons and the back of her suit going out like her dad’s (but a bit shorter for convenience.)

I imagine her being a bit showy so I kinda decked her out in silver, I thought it’d also be a fun mirroring of how her mom is covered in gold. Her shoes are pretty similar to the original, I put a little split at the front of the shoes in the dark purple since Viv has said she has little hooves which I’m not sure is true but I thought it was a fun idea so I kinda hinted at it with that

I changed her irises (is that what they’re called?) to look more snake-like like her dad, and I gave her little horns since I thought they were cute and I wanted her to maybe show them on purpose because she wanted to blend in more with the citizens of hell so they might feel less intimidated by her presence as the princess, that’s also why I didn’t give her a crown :]

Overall this was just a fun little project I did out of curiosity and boredom, these designs aren’t made to criticize or taunt vivziepop since like I said I love her designs already

The more she can can, the more likely someone’s a good person, she’s managed to hear at least a little bit in the people around her, even in Hell…she was surpised when she couldn’t hear anything in Valentino when she first met him…

🐍 Sir P loved to invent since he was a kid. His inventions and ideas weren’t as…considered back then. Atleats in Hell he’s been able to accomplish a lot more.

🐍 Sir Pentious was around during Alastor’s takeover as Radio Demon. In my take I imagine he tells the gang the story Mimzy told them in ep 5 while my Mimzy would instead share who Alastor was, alive!

🐍 Sir P gets a lot of his material from Hells junkyards, pawn shops, thrift stores and whatever he can scavenge from the doom district. He's pretty smart with costs. His stuff blows up allt so he's gotta be dareful not to go bankrupt.

🐍Keeps up with all the Overlords and other high power Hell people. Learned the importance of branding from figures like Alastor and Vox.

🐍 Sir Pentious and Charlie often do high tea now and then🫖🍰🍪

🐍Made his arm prosthetics himself!

🦌 Alastor before getting into the radio show business, worked as a busboy back at the speakeasy club Mimzy used to perform in, hence how they knew each other.

🦌 Despite the front he puts up about television…has some guilty pleasures, likes vintage style shows, films, especially involving murder mysteries. He also likes “The Twilight Zone”….Used to watch it with Vox📺💔

🦌Had to deal with a lot of prejudice for his heritage, especially for his aspirations. Had to fight a lot to keep his show…

🦌Back alive, he talked about his killings on his radio time. What made him popular…unfortunately he was beginning to slip a bit more than he meant to and people were starting to get suspicious and eventually the authorities set a trap 🪤.

🦌Enjoys cooking 🥘 🍳. Learned most of his recipes from his mother.

🦌Loves to talk about his mother…his fathers a completely different story.

🦌Pretty dependent of Husk emotionally. Deep down he knows…their relationship isn’t healthy.

🦌His biggest fear…is to turn out like his father.

OKAY!!!!!!! TEENAGE CHARLIE (Going by Charlotte at this point still)

FEATURING A MORNINGSTAR FAMILY PORTRAIT‼️‼️‼️‼️

So I know everyone and their mother thinks Charlie being an emo teenager is HILARIOUS (just me? Ok) BUT I think, at least in this sorta rewrite/reimagining, it can be tweaked.

From what we've seen from the little of Charlie's backstory, she's never been.... BAD. Like, I understand she's not a bad person but what made her believe that people could change???? What was her reason for thinking that???

And what better proof could she have than herself!!??

(and ofc maybe the show DOES have an explanation as to why she thinks the way she does but I think the best reason for her to believe that people, more specially SINNERS, could change is if she HERSELF had changed!!)

So what I imagine is that Charlie didn't start going by Charlie until AFTER she decided to make a change for herself.

So Charlotte Morningstar is the only child of the Devil, Lucifer and the first woman, Lilith, as well as the sole heir to the throne of Hell.

And she was a total sleazebag.

She did all kinds of drugs and partook in all of the Hellish virtues that eternal donation had to offer, that also includes the infamous hunting trips that she and Lucifer would go on together (as mentioned in this post)

She was aggressive, violent and unfaithful. I imagine that Charlotte was a total shit ass kid who got into trouble all the time (which was basically encouraged by Lucifer and so long as she did what Lilith told her when it came to meeting advisors and ruling, Lilith didn't care how she was either)

Charlotte still dated Seviathan like in canon. I wanted to lean into the Eldritch part of his name but something that isn't too complicated LOL, so I made him have a whole bunch of mouths all over him (his right eyes, his ears, and there's a LOAD more that are just usually covered up by his clothes). He's like a mouth themed vampire-demon thing to me <3

He's pretty arrogant and mean, a huge jerk like Charlotte, that's why they were together. They were both really similar at the time and just enabled each other's bad and violent behaviors.

Then eventually Charlotte realized that hurting people and being super evil was NOT GOOD and began to change. (This change is noticed in her physical appearance (no longer showing her horns) and starting to go by Charlie :)

This caused a LOT of rifts and tension between her, her parents and peers tbh (this was expanded on in this post)

And have a little bonus for humoring me with my insanity.

I think once it's revealed that Vaggie was an exorcist angel, Charlie's gonna fucking FLIP (obviously). Her biggest reason is still how it was in canon, how Vaggie had lied to her and kept the whole thing a secret BUT!!!!!

She's also gonna feel conflicted BECAUSE she ALSO did bad in her past and she doesn't wanna look like a hypocrite if she's crucifying Vaggie for doing the same! But she's mad! But she also did bad!!! She's just gonna be super mixed up and conflicted and confused LOL

Charlotte M. Morningstar is the Antichrist and the sole heir to the Demonic Throne! She is a polite, energetic demoness, but be careful not to anger her too much. She is the Princess of Hell after all.

Charlie is intersex but uses she/her pronouns and sees herself as a woman. She is bisexual with a preference for men. She is very extroverted and friendly but struggles with anxiety and being a chronic workaholic.

Charlie is a bit of a chimera, having many goat and serpentine like features, the opposite to her Christ counterpart (whom she is actually good friends with.) In her casual form, she stands at 6'10" ft and with the added height of her tri-pronged horns she is 7'4" ft. She has a long, muscular tail with three fins at the end and four pairs of droopy goat ears, two on each side. She has somewhat droopy eyes with a thick set of lashes, the bottom lashes are very long and have a red colour to them. Charlie has hooves similar to that of a goat, and wears special shoes to accommodate them, they don't add to her height.

I had two main ideas for Charlie: 60s working woman and devil kewpie. I gave Charlie a 60s-inspired haircut (that way, Vaggie stands out a bit more, too, with having longer hair) with some curled fringe to be reminiscent of mountain goats. A big complaint I have with the original designs is that there is little shape diversity in Viv's characters, so I decided to make Charlie a bit on the chubby side, she has a lot of muscle concealed by that chub though! It was also inspired by Hot Stuff the Baby Devil and Kewpie in his devil outfit, as the roundness makes her seem friendlier and more approachable, despite her towering height and demon features.

Give me some ideas for her final design or the other characters! I'd love to bounce ideas off of others, I'll be posting her final design, backstory, and playlist soon as well as sketches and finals for the other characters!

The boy is here! The most ever! The Fallen Star’s very own Starboy!

So I lied and don’t have the finalized designs for King Maggie or Queen Ams yet soooooo *throws confetti at you* take this Starboy reimagining in the meantime!

Eugh boy the name gave me trouble. I didn’t want to use Aster since that’s the name of a a couple popular Starboys already (@annymation/@gracebeth3604/ @mythartist21) and while the Greek name is cool, I wanted something a bit different.

I was heavily considering choosing Estrella and making Starboy a Stargirl, and then we’d have a gay romance. But this is supposed to be SOMEWHAT of a homage to early Disney. This may not be KoW, but… idk. Cielo is a gender neutral name. Literal manifestation of light. Go ahead and draw them as a female-presenting figure and it’s still TFS!canon~

Aaaaaaanyways. Here’s the actual rewrite!

First of all! Cielo is NOT the Northern Star! He’s a baby star like… in the bottom right

However, the Northern Star? Evangeline? Yeah, she’s gonna be in my rewrite

For now I’ll just say Evangeline is sort of a mentor-figure to Cielo and leave it at that

So not all stars are wishing stars, and similar to Kingdom of Wishes, a wishing star is born when first wished upon

Once a wishing star fulfills their first wish, they become Stars (capital S), and are free to help anyone that needs it

The more wishes a Star fulfills, the more powerful they become

Idk maybe it’s like a Rise of the Guardians thing, where the more people that believe, the stronger your magic is

Sparkles and hope and glitter and shit

Until, as explained in my rewrite… the Stars grew bored and started simply granting wishes

Then people grew lazy and started demanding wishes

And all this belief made the Stars go overpowered

Basically it became Wonderland, everything coming true, kingdoms burning and villages destroyed

Redesigning/Reimagining Hazbin's Characters-1 (Charlie)

I tried y'all, I really did, but I didn't have much to work with. Sorry about the cut off, the shoes did not go as planned.

So- How'd I do? Tell me your thoughts!

(I'll go in depth under the cut)

Okay, so, where to begin..

Well, first, I'll start by stating the obvious.

I don't like Charlie's design. If you like it, fair enough, but it's just not working for me.

There's thr usual problem of- you guessed it- Too. Much. Red.

Red eyes, red background, red details, red clothing, red cheeks, red Bang style, red under sleeves (even though the shirt is supposedly White when you look at the chest area, but then you see around her wrist and it's a dark red for no reason. I'm willing to bet that the animators just forgot which color goes where because the color palette is just red, pink, white, and black. Over and over again.

Next: I get that she's supposed to be bubbly, and happy-go-lucky, all that stuff. But to be honest, I feel like it would be more interesting if she actually wasn't that nice.

I feel like one thing that would be fascinating is the idea that she wants to help people, but she's out of touch. She's one of the most powerful things in Hell after all. She doesn't understand the point of the lower class People. Plus, she's never been out of hell, she doesn't know what Earth is like, or what heaven is like.

I feel like a version of her where she is trying to do good, but is ruthless or harsh in the way she does it, could both be entertaining- and provide character devolopement as she learns how nuanced proper care is.

Also, if she's the second / third most powerful thing in hell, she shouldn't be scared of Alastor. I don't mean that he can't be in the series or anything, I feel like there would still be plenty of uses for him. But with her being a high class royal, and as powerful as she is, she shouldn't need to rely on him for his power or his money for that matter.

I understand the idea that maybe Lucifer Cut Her Off from funding because he basically disowned her or whatever, so maybe funding could be an issue, but even so, she should not be afraid of Alastor.

I like the idea that she intimidated people into going into her hotel so she could "fix" them, not realizing that the fear of her wrath is the only thing keeping people there.

Or maybe the whole hotel thing could be an act of defiance against her father fitting, as "history repeats itself" (referencing Lucifer's defiance of God in biblical lore)

Perhaps she does good things, but isn't all that nice to begin with. But she attempts to be friendly and relatable without understanding how to ACTUALLY relate to or approach others.

How does all of this tie into my design of her?

A few things:

1. Viv said at some point that Charlie was meant to look like a porcelain doll, which... She doesn't look like at all. (I do like her new ponytail. But other than that I don't like the design.)

To me, she just looks like Ellen DeGeneres with long hair and clown makeup.

So, I made her more doll-like. But it wasn't enough. It was too simple.

Then, it hit me: in a lot of movies with demons or ghosts, oftentimes a doll gets possessed by said demon/ghost.

I'm not even afraid of dolls personally, but I know a lot of people who are

So What if, Charlie did the same? Maybe her true form is something really scary, so in an attempt to come across as more approachable, she has some sort of doll-like shell? (But, unbeknownst to her, most people are very afraid of dolls. So it does very little to actually help. I think that's some decent comedy potential.

Plus, imagine her having stiff or janky movements, like she doesn't actually fit that well in her body.

2. The horns.

I actually kind of liked her weird demonic form, at least I liked the horns and the moving hair, but since I decided not to give her a crown, I gave her those weird 4 horns with decorative string tied between them, as a way to make it appear *similar* to a crown. Plus as a reference to the whole 'demonic' thing

I kind of used Sofia from "Harmony and Horror" as a reference. (Btw, great analogue horror series on YouTube, highly recommend it)

3. I did make Charlie's hair a bit darker, but just a little. That was in reference to part of Lucifer's lore, which said that when he fell from heaven, not only did his feathery angel wings burn away into bat wings, but his once golden hair burned into a dark red. So I decided that for Charlie, her hair is darker, but since she's trying to do good, it turns lighter.

But yeah, I'm honestly not sure about her outfit, I'm probably going to experiment with that in the future. But overall I'm okay with how this turned out.
