Blaine Anderson is probably the person with more self-control that you will meet. Yes, he may do a few impulsive things here and there, but Blaine always likes to take control of the situation. He likes to be in control of everything. He is very charming and confident, but he also likes to use those traits as some sort of mask to cover his insecurities. He is temperamental and reserved. Even if he is very composed, Blaine can also lose his temper very fast, even more, when something goes against his very own will, his own rules. He never liked to try too hard, but he did like the idea of fitting in, in general. Blaine likes to be the center of everyone’s attention. He is also very needy, maybe because he feels like his parents always paid more attention to his older brother than to himself. He now feels like he deserves all that type of attention to himself too and doesn’t mind showing that side of himself when he has to. Even if that can show a different side of Blaine, he is still a very sweet, passionate, and caring person, and loves to show love and care to the people in his life. Blaine is also dramatic, especially when he is stressed out, and very fun, even more, when he is a little drunk, or with the right people, he likes to lose his compose and show that special trait.

Why do you draw some Hashira's skin WAY more darker than they are? Like, Giyuu has pale skin and you draw it way way darker. Same with Mitsuri. Isn't that blackwashing?

i understand the concerns but i must assure you there is no such thing as blackwashing

the reason i draw some hashira with darker skin tones is really just based on headcanons & what colors i think look good. theres nothing wrong with giving characters darker skin tones so long as you aren't erasing their race/culture in the process

(when you do the opposite-- like making a dark skinned character white-- that's an entirely different story. whitewashing comes from a place of hatred and serves to erase one's culture)

so for example, when it comes to mitsuri, i like to hc she's blasian. the main reason i hc this is because i have a blasian friend who LOVES mitsuri and its kinda my little way of expressing love for my friend through her fave character. but i see ppl draw her with a darker skin tone all the time and i think she's just gorgeous

when i give these characters darker skin tones i in no way erase the fact that they are asian and japanese. i just add to it so theres more diversity. i imagine this is the same for majority of artists even so, if you leave out the hcs and such, not all asian people are paper white. i may give characters tanner skin tones just because i think it looks nice. gyomei, genya, tanjiro, tengen, etc...

ultimately i do understand the concern and the confusion, but there's truly nothing wrong with darkening a character's skin tone-- what is wrong is recoloring people's artwork to lighten people's skin tones or make extremely racist jokes and comments regarding the dark skinned character

the fact that bioware wrote in a line from harding mentioning sera by name about her being part of the inquisition despite the fact that you can choose to not recruit her which effectively overwrites a player's canon and establishes a bioware canon that sera joins the inquisition????? meanwhile zevran cannot even be mentioned by name at all !?!?!?

“it's okay,”

your soothing voice rang out, assuring the man beside you.

slowly, you place your hand on top of his, then give him a small smile. despite your attempts to soothe his worries, you notice his eyes crinkle with worry.

his tiny fidgets from his free hand against his clothing, and the tiny, barely noticeable frown on his lips.

earlier, the anxious man himself, despite being the size of a bear, had stammered out that he did not know what to ask nor how to act when buying things for himself.

apparently karhan wanted to buy jewellery but did not know how to ask for a specific one since one, everyone is afraid of him, and two, he generally looks scary and does not know how to seem nice to people.

so, you gave several advices to karhan as always. after a few encouragements and having to forcefully push him into the shop, karhan had managed to order personal jewellery without absolutely terrifying the worker (the worker was, unfortunately, terrified at first, much to karhan's dismay).

though, karhan was initially proud of himself for being able to push through his comfort zone— it did not take too long for him to have doubts about himself.

which led to the situation now, with his downcast self slumping against the bench and you attempting to soothe his insecurities and worries.

“karhan,”

your voice tried to reach his ears, and it fortunately managed to gain his attention. his eyes lit up, though a little with him still being anxious.

he quickly averted his eyes, to which you responded slowly and gently, placing your free hand on his cheek.

you brought his eyes to yours and once again, gave him a reassuring smile. his anxious expression melted once he got accustomed to your gentle eyes.

“you did well,”

you whispered softly to him, the hand on top of his slowly intertwined with his fingers. you slowly move your other hand from his cheek to the back of his head.

then, you led his head to rest on your shoulder. as if magic, you felt him slump. his body almost relaxing as he pressed his weight onto you.

not that you mind, if anything, you were happy to support him.you slowly patted his head as he buried his face onto your shoulder.

you cooed several praises in a hush tone, only for him to here and compliments solely for him. suddenly, you felt him bringing you into a tight hug, as if he genuinely needed it.

you heard him sigh as his head remained on your shoulder. he definitely needed the hug. the comfort and the support, to know that he is not alone right now. not that you would let him be alone, ever.

you rested your head against his shoulder and whispered to his ear,

“i'll always be here for you,”

you felt his fingers gripping your outfit tightly, yet you did not mind. you smile at how adorable he is and pat his back. his voice mumbled back to you, in a soft, assured tone.

“thank you,”

you could hear his small smile from those two words alone. you took the serene silence as a chance to place a gentle kiss on his cheek.

he stiffened, and his cheeks flushed red almost immediately as you heard awkward stammer from him. you laugh at his reaction, patting his cheek with pride.

who could have known such a bear-sized man could be this cute?

in two weeks, you received that jewellery karhan ordered as a gift. you had wondered why he ordered personal jewellery back then.

so that was what he was doing.
