#Chaos gremlins

Have been trying really hard to work out the logistics of a crossover fanfic between Fangs of Fortune and My Journey To You in which Zhuo Yichen and Gong Yuanzhi replace each other in their worlds at the most inconvenient times and there are so many scene stuck in my hand but there is one that is not getting out of my mind:

Zhuo Yichen (masqurading as didi cause Gong Shangjue was not going to let everyone know his didi gets replaced by another version): awkwardly but politely trying to smile at everyone in the banquet, using all the correct terms, not throwing pot shots and being respectful to everyone

Everyone: (shuddering in fright) what is he planning????

Gong Shangjue excusing early and dragging him away: what was that??

Zhuo Yichen: you told me to not cause any trouble and bug anyone!

Gong Shangjue (feeling a headache): next time, bug as many people as you can

In the other world:

Gong Yuanzhi to Chongwu camp: you rats think you are better than me??? I am the worst person in this place! How dare you try to take my position??

Chongwu Camp: run its that madman!

Wen Xiao: proudly standing behind to see the feral chihuahua she gets to dote over as an aunt whenever he replaces Xiao Zhuo is burning everything Chingwu Camp had rebuilt many times over past years. Because of the same feral chihuahua.

She feels very proud. She may not have raised him but she certainly... contributed to some of it.

(And yes, Chongwu camp gets disbanded so many times they are not the biggest threat by the end, their leader poisoned too many times. Biggest threat is Gong Yuanzhi without his Gege leashing him. He is the final boss.)

so this idea struck me while i was collecting eggs from my chickens and ducks. then spiraled when sebastian mentioned that they used to do an egg toss with rotten eggs.

so ali while hanging out and getting high with sebastian, sam and abigail, gets the idea to egg mayor lewis's house bc hes a shitty mayor and person all together.

sam and abby are obvs all for it bc chaos gremlins stick together.

i feel like sebastian would try to be the voice of reason but also really wants to egg the mayors house y'know

so thats the story of how on spirits eve, a few months later, while everybody was busy with the event that mayor lewis's house was egged.

Yeah Alison had to be the "mum" whenever Robin and Julian were causing trouble and pretend not to laugh her ass off, but you can bet that as soon as she dies in the hotel, no matter how old she is, she is gonna be joining them haunting the shit out of everyone for shits and giggles, she'll most definitely get her own ghost power and they'll be the three dead stooges (good luck to Cap and others trying to control them).

The M9 and VM both had these massive world shaking adventures and now these randos are just dragging aaaaaaaaaall that up again out of fucking NOWHERE.

Like they’re just. Wrapped up in so much shit. And not to mention the fact that the M9 and VM might finally meet—and there’s a LOT of potential there—because of some literal (literally) embodiments of literal chaos that happened to meet ‘cause of some dude called Bertrand who, oh yeah, helped save a VM member’s soul once.

Like i love this for them.
