With the exceptions of North Korea and Cuba, the communist world has merged onto the capitalist highway in a couple different ways during the twenty-first century. As you’ve read, free-trade imperialism and its cheap agricultural imports pushed farmers into the cities and into factory work, lowering the global price of manufacturing labor and glutting the world market with stuff. Forward-thinking states such as China and Vietnam invested in high-value-added production capacity and managed labor organizing, luring links from the global electronics supply chain and jump-starting capital investment. Combined with capital’s hesitancy to invest in North Atlantic production facilities, as well as a disinclination toward state-led investment in the region, Asian top-down planning erased much of the West’s technological edge. If two workers can do a single job, and one worker costs less, both in wages and state support, why pick the expensive one? Foxconn’s 2017 plan to build a U.S. taxpayer–subsidized $10 billion flat-panel display factory in Wisconsin was trumpeted by the president, but it was a fiasco that produced zero screens. The future cost of labor looks to be capped somewhere below the wage levels many people have enjoyed, and not just in the West.

The left-wing economist Joan Robinson used to tell a joke about poverty and investment, something to the effect of: The only thing worse than being exploited by capitalists is not being exploited by capitalists. It’s a cruel truism about the unipolar world, but shouldn’t second place count for something? When the Soviet project came to an end, in the early 1990s, the country had completed world history’s biggest, fastest modernization project, and that didn’t just disappear. Recall that Cisco was hyped to announce its buyout of the Evil Empire’s supercomputer team. Why wasn’t capitalist Russia able to, well, capitalize? You’re already familiar with one of the reasons: The United States absorbed a lot of human capital originally financed by the Soviet people. American immigration policy was based on draining technical talent in particular from the Second World. Sergey Brin is the best-known person in the Moscow-to-Palo-Alto pipeline, but he’s not the only one.

Look at the economic composition of China and Russia in the wake of Soviet dissolution: Both were headed toward capitalist social relations, but they took two different routes. The Russian transition happened rapidly. The state sold off public assets right away, and the natural monopolies such as telecommunications and energy were divided among a small number of skilled and connected businessmen, a category of guys lacking in a country that frowned on such characters but that grew in Gorbachev’s liberalizing perestroika era. Within five years, the country sold off an incredible 35 percent of its national wealth. Russia’s richest ended the century with a full counterrevolutionary reversal of their fortunes, propelling their income share above what it was before the Bolsheviks took over. To accomplish this, the country’s new capitalists fleeced the most vulnerable half of their society. “Over the 1989–2016 period, the top 1 percent captured more than two-thirds of the total growth in Russia,” found an international group of scholars, “while the bottom 50 percent actually saw a decline in its income.” Increases in energy prices encouraged the growth of an extractionist petro-centered economy. Blood-covered, teary, and writhing, infant Russian capital crowded into the gas and oil sectors. The small circle of oligarchs privatized unemployed KGB-trained killers to run “security,” and gangsters dominated politics at the local and national levels. They installed a not particularly well-known functionary—a former head of the new intelligence service FSB who also worked on the privatization of government assets—as president in a surprise move on the first day of the year 2000. He became the gangster in chief.

Vladimir Putin’s first term coincided with the energy boom, and billionaires gobbled up a ludicrous share of growth. If any individual oligarch got too big for his britches, Putin was not beyond imposing serious consequences. He reinserted the state into the natural monopolies, this time in collaboration with loyal capitalists, and his stranglehold on power remains tight for now, despite the outstandingly uneven distribution of growth. Between 1980 and 2015, the Russian top 1 percent grew its income an impressive 6.2 percent per year, but the top .001 percent has maintained a growth rate of 17 percent over the same period. To invest these profits, the Russian billionaires parked their money in real estate, bidding up housing prices, and stashed a large amount of their wealth offshore. Reinvestment in Russian production was not a priority—why go through the hassle when there were easier ways to keep getting richer?

While Russia grew billionaires instead of output, China saw a path to have both. As in the case of Terry Gou, the Chinese Communist Party tempered its transition by incorporating steadily increasing amounts of foreign direct investment through Hong Kong and Taiwan, picking partners and expanding outward from the special economic zones. State support for education and infrastructure combined with low wages to make the mainland too attractive to resist. (Russia’s population is stagnant, while China’s has grown quickly.) China’s entry into the World Trade Organization, in 2001, gave investors more confidence. Meanwhile, strong capital controls kept the country out of the offshore trap, and state development priorities took precedence over extraction and get-rich-quick schemes. Chinese private wealth was rechanneled into domestic financial assets—equity and bonds or other loan instruments—at a much higher rate than it was in Russia. The result has been a sustained high level of annual output growth compared to the rest of the world, the type that involves putting up an iPhone City in a matter of months. As it has everywhere else, that growth has been skewed: only an average of 4.5 percent for the bottom half of earners in the 1978–2015 period compared to more than 10 percent for the top .001 percent. But this ratio of just over 2–1 is incomparable to Russia’s 17–.5 ration during the same period.

Since the beginning of the twenty-first century, certain trends have been more or less unavoidable. The rich have gotten richer relative to the poor and working class—in Russia, in China, in the United States, and pretty much anywhere else you want to look. Capital has piled into property markets, driving up the cost of housing everywhere people want to live, especially in higher-wage cities and especially in the world’s financial centers. Capitalist and communist countries alike have disgorged public assets into private pockets. But by maintaining a level of control over the process and slowing its tendencies, the People’s Republic of China has built a massive and expanding postindustrial manufacturing base.

It’s important to understand both of these patterns as part of the same global system rather than as two opposed regimes. One might imagine, based on what I’ve written so far, that the Chinese model is useful, albeit perhaps threatening, in the long term for American tech companies while the Russian model is irrelevant. Some commentators have phrased this as the dilemma of middle-wage countries on the global market: Wages in China are going to be higher than wages in Russia because wages in Russia used to be higher than wages in China. But Russia’s counterrevolutionary hyper-bifurcation has been useful for Silicon Valley as well; they are two sides of the same coin. Think about it this way: If you’re a Russian billionaire in the first decades of the twenty-first century looking to invest a bunch of money you pulled out of the ground, where’s the best place you could put it? The answer is Palo Alto.

Julius Scott’s legendary study tells [...] of the unrest of “masterless” communities, as he terms them, in the late eighteenth-century Caribbean and its implications for the Atlantic World. This unrest was undergirded by what he terms a “common wind” of seditious political news circulating through an increasingly mobile and interconnected region. He deftly sets the context [...] to imperial tensions that culminated in uprisings and revolutions within [...] the French, British, and Spanish Empires. [...] He builds what is this field-defining work from a triangulated analysis of three central hubs of the colonial Caribbean in terms of [...] prosperity in the plantation economy, and political importance to these aforementioned empires: Saint-Domingue [Haiti], Jamaica, and Cuba. But he also explores similar occurrences within [...] Martinique and Guadeloupe for the French, Venezuela and Trinidad for the Spanish, and Dominica and Grenada for the British. He also includes [...] the engagement of the newly formed United States in this network, reinforcing the broader Atlantic impact of the common wind’s radical currents.

Chapter 1 explores the upheaval afoot in the mid-1700s colonial Caribbean through a closer look at the movements of a range of actors including enslaved runaways, military deserters, contraband smugglers, free people of color, and poor whites hustling in the islands’ urban centers and surrounding countrysides.

A variety of settings - including the fringes of plantations, maroon settlements, town-based markets, taverns, hospitals, barracks, and wharves - might presumably, if read with the archival grain, illuminate the map of state control. Instead, in Scott’s analysis, these represent the contours of the working class’s unlawful movements and ultimately their fraying of the colonial order, anticipating what Stephanie M. H. Camp [...] would aptly name [...] the “rival geography” of slave society.

Chapter 2 shows how sailors’ illicit forms of mobility [...] blurred the bounds between land and sea in this narrative of popular dissent. Their movements [...] as social beings and political dissidents bled into and helped sustain similar kinds of illicit commerce and socializing [...]. Chapters 3 and 4 demonstrate how the common wind consistently blew subversive ideas into and around the Caribbean, much to officials’ chagrin. Scott here homes in on the politically volatile era from the late 1770s through the late 1790s, which saw declarations of war, drastic changes in slavery policy [...] and the emergence of U.S., French, and, most significantly, Haitian revolutionary uprising. [...] [E]nslaved communities everywhere in the region followed as intently as they could as the campaign of the enslaved rebels in Saint-Domingue began in 1791. [...] Political news, no matter how hard officials in the colonies and the metropoles tried to block it, spilled into all levels of society [...]. What flowed through all of these channels animated questions about master-slave relations, mercantilist policy, individual rights [...]. Scott carefully traces the influence of the unfolding Haitian Revolution on well-planned but eventually thwarted uprisings of enslaved people in the Venezuelan port city Coro, the Dutch colony of Curaçao, and the parish of Pointe Coupee in then Spanish Louisiana, all in 1795. He also illuminates the multiple instances of inspiration in the 1790s evidenced in enslaved communities throughout the United States [...].

Essentially Scott reveals that the Age of Revolutions cannot be understood without comprehending black resistance in times of war and peace. The tale of Phebe, one of many enslaved Jamaican female runaways who became an itinerant higgler hiding in plain sight in urban spaces like Kingston, or the story of the 1790 mutiny of four enslaved sailors who overtook the Saint Kitts sloop the Nancy with respective origins in the Caribbean, West Africa, and the U.S. South, which Scott called a “microcosm” of the Atlantic, are but two of multiple narratives he includes to show that enslaved people [...] actively built and sustained those circuits via their multilingualism, their savvy, and above all their dedication to achieving a state of masterlessness [...].

This could be achieved not just through formal manumission processes, but through running away and re-creating new lives and livelihoods [...]. The [...] knowledge that these dissidents obtained in their labors allowed them to escape to lives not “off the grid,” but rather in the centers of commercial and state activity, ensconced in communities of opposition and poised to obtain news that prepared them well for their next moves in their albeit precarious existence. [...]

Scott complicates earlier framings of the oppositional working class as strictly of European origin [...]; [...] Scott’s unpublished dissertation [...] influenced the interventions made in Linebaugh and Rediker’s The Many-Headed Hydra [...] years later. [...] He centers enslaved people within the revolutionary Atlantic not just as workers [...] but also as strategic thinkers, and he does so long before it was popular to do so in this field of history. [...] [H]e demonstrates how so many ordinary enslaved women and men regularly engaged in quotidian forms of fugitivity across various imperial territories of the Caribbean [...]. The dissertation also came several years in advance of the still pivotal call advanced by Michel-Rolph Trouillot’s 1995 Silencing the Past, about the denied centrality of the Haitian Revolution to the Age of Revolutions in its time and in retrospect. Havana, May 11 — The Cuban Conga Against Homophobia and Transphobia took its message of “Love is the law” to the central avenues of the capital’s Vedado neighborhood, along with demands for a free Palestine and against the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

Representatives of Cuban LGBTQIA+ activism and friends from other countries joined the parade that called for “All rights for all people,” convened by the National Center for Sexual Education (Cenesex) from May 3 to 18 within the framework of the Cuban Days Against Homophobia and Transphobia.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep (but I have promises to keep)

With the war between the Galra and the rest of the Galaxy over, Lance has been living back in Cuba tending to his farm, spending his days talking with kids, and telling stories about the late Princess Allura and the Paladins of Voltron. When one night he gets a miraculous opportunity to sleep, he is hopelessly desperate in his longing for a different outcome after the war. The question now, though, was what would he do if he actually had a chance to change everything?

A Time Travel fanfiction centered around Lance coming to terms with his situation and trying his best to change things for the better!

This is just the first chapter out of many, I promise! It will be canon compliant for a while too.

It will have past/current(?) Allurance (Lance still having his feelings for her), then later developing into Klance for endgame!

It's no secret that America is an Imperialist Nation but it's sad how often times people tend to look over and forget why immigrants are coming into America in the first place.

After the raping and plundering of their land and goods, people have to always try to make a better living and of course , they come over where they think things are better, in hopes for the supposed American Dream (which was already D.O.A since the U.S government inception i.e Native Americans) little do they know they have entered Hell's Gate dead center right in falling and failing empire.

America must “pay the price for peace,” said President Harry Truman in 1948, or it would “pay the price of war.” The ghastliest moments of the 20th century came when autocratic aggressors ruptured the Eurasian balance of power. Standards of morality went by the wayside in conquered regions. Autocratic spheres of influence became platforms for further predation. Countervailing coalitions, thrown together under dire circumstances, had to claw their way back into hostile continents at horrid cost. This is why Truman’s America, having paid the price of war twice in a quarter century, chose to continuously bolster the peace after 1945.

There was nothing simple about this. Preventing global war was arduous, morally troubling work. It required learning the apocalyptic absurdities of nuclear deterrence. It involved fighting bloody “limited” conflicts, going to the brink over Cuba and Berlin, and preparing incessantly for a confrontation the United States and its allies hoped never to fight. The long great-power peace of the postwar era didn’t just happen; it was the payoff of a decades-long effort to make the military balance favor the free world. An important lesson, then, is that a cold war is the reward for deterring a hot one.

As the citizens of Ukraine can attest, high-intensity warfare is not some artifact of a receding past. As Israel has rediscovered, technological superiority is no guarantee against the most lethal forms of military surprise. In a Western Pacific menaced by Chinese power, the peace grows fragile. Don’t assume that revisionist states won’t simply try to seize their objectives—or that democracies must always prevail in tests of strength. The price of peace, in the present era, will be another long military competition.

Deterrence on NATO’s eastern front will require well-armed frontline states that can put up a real fight, forward-deployed alliance forces that can slow a Russian onslaught, and a NATO that can surge power into hard-to-access areas while keeping the Kremlin from using nuclear coercion to impose a settlement on its terms. That’s difficult but doable for the mightiest, most experienced alliance. The situation is more daunting in the Pacific, where the United States has no region-wide alliance, and where China’s buildup is threatening to confront America with a choice between fighting and losing a war to save Taiwan, and simply not fighting at all.

“Taiwan is like two feet from China,” President-elect Donald Trump remarked during his first term in 2019. “If they invade, there isn’t a fucking thing we can do about it.” Fortunately, securing the peace in East Asia isn’t as hopeless as the map might make it seem. The fundamental asymmetry favoring China is proximity. The fundamental asymmetry favoring its enemies is that denial is easier than control, especially when control means projecting power over large bodies of water. Forcibly seizing Taiwan, with its oceanic moat and rugged terrain, would take one of the most complex military operations in history. The outlines of a strategy for defeating—or better yet, deterring—such an assault are readily apparent.

They include turning Taiwan into a prickly porcupine, bristling with arms and ready to fight until the end; flipping geography against Beijing by making the first island chain a series of strongpoints stocked with anti-ship missiles and patrolled by lethal attack submarines, backed by a second island chain studded with U.S. air power, logistical capabilities, and long-range precision-strike aircraft; ensuring that the Pentagon has ample magazines of the torpedoes, missiles, and other munitions needed to decimate a blockade squadron or invasion fleet; and preparing to cut off China’s imports of energy and other key materials through a blockade centered on distant chokepoints that the U.S. Navy can control.

They include, also, knitting Washington’s regional relationships into something more capable of, and explicitly committed to, a coalition defense; readying, with other advanced democracies, severe economic and technological punishments should Beijing attack; and integrating allied defense industrial bases into a 21st-century arsenal of democracy that can sustain a long conflict. Finally, and most uncomfortably, deterrence requires possessing a credible ability to fight a limited nuclear war in the Western Pacific, if only so that China doesn’t feel emboldened, as its own arsenal matures, to use nuclear coercion to prevent the United States from intervening at all.

This formula can deny China an easy victory, while exploiting U.S. advantages—alliances, global power-projection, economic and technological leverage—to make the conflict devastating, destabilizing, and existentially dangerous for the regime of Chinese President Xi Jinping. It all sounds awful, but preparing for the unthinkable is the best way of ensuring it never occurs. It is heartening, then, that Washington and other countries are making real, in some ways historic, progress in all these areas—and terrifying that they often seem to be moving in slow motion as Beijing races to ready for a fight. “For almost 20 years we had all of the time and almost none of the money,” U.S. Army Chief of Staff George Marshall wrote as Adolf Hitler steamrolled Europe. “Today we have all of the money and no time.” The United States will eventually pay to keep key regions out of hostile hands. Far better to balance early than to balance late.

Any balancing effort begins at home, so it has become obligatory, in discussions of foreign policy, to say that America must get its own house in order. Like most clichés, it’s partly true. One thing the anti-interventionists of earlier eras got right is that America’s power is no greater than the vibrancy of its economy, society, and democracy. The twist is that if the United States had insisted on perfecting itself before going abroad to fight two world wars and a cold war in the 20th century, the world would be run by regimes less paralyzed by their imperfections. Global involvement can, in fact, be an impetus to domestic renewal: Having enemies at the gates concentrates the mind on weaknesses within the walls.

This effect endures. Washington’s turn toward great-power competition has already produced historic outlays in semiconductor manufacturing and other strategic priorities with domestic payoffs.

There is, however, a less-noticed aspect of the notion that foreign policy begins at home: The Western Hemisphere is the forgotten, vital theater of Eurasian competition. Alfred Thayer Mahan, the great American naval strategist, understood that the United States had to secure the Panama Canal and the Caribbean before it could patrol the oceans. Or, as international relations scholar Nicholas Spykman put it, the United States eventually accrued “power to spare” for intervention in distant theaters because it was supreme within its own. Hemispheric immunity and global activism went hand in hand. America’s enemies understood this, too; from the Zimmermann telegram that offered Imperial Germany’s support for a Mexican invasion of the United States in 1917 to the Cuban missile crisis, every struggle of the last century saw Eurasian powers stir the pot of political instability and anti-Americanism in Latin America, in hopes of putting Washington off-balance by putting it on the defensive in its own backyard.

Today’s Eurasian powers know the playbook. Russia and Iran have supported illiberal populists around the Caribbean basin. China is inserting itself into Latin American economies, infrastructure, and technological networks, while laying the groundwork for a larger security presence from Argentina to Cuba. One doesn’t have to think it is October 1962 all over again to understand the implications. Just as countries that dominate their home regions will have greater scope to reach into the Western Hemisphere, a presence in that hemisphere can distract and hobble a superpower used to ranging overseas. The logic of the Monroe Doctrine—the idea that the United States cannot let hostile powers or hostile ideologies hold sway in the Western Hemisphere—remains as valid as ever, even if the language needlessly offends sovereign states to Washington’s south.

Another epoch of competition foretells another effort to keep U.S. rivals from setting up shop there. Don’t be shocked if Washington eventually uses some of the same sharp-edged tools, from economic coercion to covert intervention, that it deployed in the Cold War; even enlightened democracies resort to hard measures in hard times. Yet the more the United States can pursue a negative objective—strategic denial of the Western Hemisphere to its adversaries—with a positive program of regional cooperation, the more effective it will be.

A degree of deglobalization vis-à-vis China creates opportunities for deeper regionalization of trade and manufacturing in the Western Hemisphere. Investments in sustaining the region’s strained democracies and rebuilding long-neglected relations with its militaries are good value amid intensifying international tensions. Most ambitiously, a stronger North American community—in which the United States, Canada, and Mexico are increasingly fused together economically and technologically—can counterbalance China’s forbidding heft. That’s an imposing and politically challenging agenda. But the tighter the bonds of integration within the Americas, the greater the power Washington can wield in a fragmenting world.

Much of this paints a grim portrait of the future—a future of high-octane rivalry as far as the eye can see. The Eurasian supercontinent’s vital regions and adjoining seas will see contests in “containment and counter-containment,” as China’s defense minister said in 2021. The global economy will be reshaped by the threat of war and the pressures of competition. Proxy conflicts and crises will become more common; the United States and other defenders of the prevailing order will look to punish their rivals’ missteps. Foreign policy will become a starker, more remorseless enterprise, as democratic societies rediscover that the only way to preserve a system that is liberated from the worst patterns of geopolitics is to master the ruthless practice of geopolitics in dealing with those who would bring about its demise. That may not sound appealing. But remember: Eurasian struggles are opportunities for creation.

The 20th century was a monument to humanity’s worst impulses. It was also the cradle of the freest, most flourishing age humanity has known. The worst of times led directly to the best of times; the creation of the liberal order was how a global superpower and its allies wrenched history off its destructive path. Today, old dangers are reappearing in new forms. The world no longer seems so safe from great-power war, autocratic ascendancy, the deliberate and large-scale victimization of civilians, and other scourges that characterized a long era of conflict. Keeping these specters at bay will demand another era of creation.

Most international orders are “orders of exclusion”; they suppress those on the outside by building norms, institutions, and architectures of cooperation among those within. Whether the problem is deterring aggression, defeating political warfare, or foreclosing a future in which technology entrenches and empowers tyranny, the solution involves adapting and improving the existing system that has served so many countries so well.

A coalition that holds the line in crucial theaters will be one in which a globe-spanning group of countries has buttressed the norm against territorial conquest by pulling itself together—militarily, economically, diplomatically—as never before. A free-world alliance that outpaces its enemies technologically will be one that has reached new frontiers of innovation by pooling its resources and creativity in unprecedented ways. A group of democracies that defends its values will be one that has forged better methods for tackling transnational corruption and repression. A coalition that has competed effectively for global influence will be one that has embraced innovative forms of institution-building—of the sort seen with the Quad, AUKUS, and other initiatives—that adapt the architecture of international cooperation to match the most pressing modern challenges. The presence of enemies, as the British geographer Halford Mackinder once wrote, can ultimately have “stimulative” effects. The proper response to a world riven by conflict is not to junk the liberal order. It is to strengthen that order against the actors trying to bring it down.

Achieving any of this means heeding a final lesson: There is no such thing as destiny. The history of the modern era might make one think Eurasian gambits are doomed to fail—that seeking hegemony is tantamount to committing strategic suicide. After all, from Mackinder’s time onward, every Eurasian challenger was defeated, because every challenger provoked a pack of enemies that killed its prey. The 20th century led not, as Mackinder worried, to a nightmarish “empire of the world” but to a brighter existence for much of humanity. The moral arc of the universe may be long, the saying goes, but perhaps it does bend toward justice.

It’s a pleasing and profoundly dangerous notion. Each fight for Eurasia could have gone differently; the good guys didn’t have to come out on top. In World War I, a determined German Empire might plausibly have defeated the Allies and remade the system. In World War II, there were many moments when a different decision or personality might have changed the course of events. In the early Cold War, it wasn’t fate but urgent, improvised policies that saved the day. There is no law of nature that expansion must fail and tyranny must be vanquished. There is no guarantee that history takes the path of progress.

Indeed, the idea of progress would have seemed absurd for much of the last century, when it appeared that modernity had produced ever worse forms of warfare and ever more toxic types of tyranny. Progress is the product of power, deployed for constructive purposes. The moral arc of the universe was exactly what America and its allies made of it—just as the outcome of the current Eurasian struggle will hinge on their choices and commitment in years ahead.

There’s no inherent reason that they can’t find the winning formula. Eurasia’s revisionist powers are already running into resistance; they are suffering from the pathologies of their rulers and regimes. The prospect that these countries may be traveling a road that ends in encirclement and exhaustion isn’t lost on shrewd observers in autocratic capitals. Even Chinese military analysts admit that countries that take on America and its many allies typically pay an awful price. “Don’t think of Imperial America as a ‘paper tiger,’” wrote Dai Xu, a senior People’s Liberation Army officer, in 2020. “It’s a ‘real tiger’ that kills people.”

If Washington and its friends can consistently stymie this set of Eurasian ambitions, if they can bolster the order their enemies aim to weaken, if they can show that rivalry brings more pain than profit for revisionist regimes, then perhaps policies or politics in Moscow, Tehran, and Beijing will eventually mellow. As the resolution of the Cold War reminds us, countries—even ideologically radical ones—do sometimes reconcile themselves to realities they cannot change.

But don’t take anything for granted. Outlasting the Soviet Union required a 40-year struggle pervaded by threats of Armageddon. Other aspiring hegemons did dreadful damage before they fell. Today’s Eurasian powers will try to smash, subvert, or seduce the countries around them. They will hope an overseas superpower that has settled three prior confrontations stumbles in a fourth.

History suggests the odds are against them. But history also shows that surprises happen and democratic dominance is not assured. Geography shapes but strategy decides: That’s the most crucial insight the Eurasian century offers.

Marina Núñez del Prado (17 October 1910 – 9 September 1995) was a celebrated Bolivian sculptor.

Marina Núñez del Prado was one of the most respected sculptors from Latin America. Núñez del Prado based many of her sculptures off of the female form as well as taking inspiration from animals and landscapes native to Bolivia. Her work is highly sensuous, with rolling curves. She carved from native Bolivian woods, as well as black granite, alabaster, basalt and white onyx. Perhaps one of her most famous works is "White Venus" (1960), a stylized female body in white onyx. Another celebrated work is "Mother and Child," sculpted in white onyx. Indigenous Bolivian cultures inspired much of her work.

Marina Nunez del Prado died in Lima, Peru on September 9, 1995, where she had spent the last twenty-five years of her life working. She left behind a legacy that significantly enriched Bolivian art and culture but was also a significant contribution to the practice of sculpture and Latin-American art. In her lifetime, she had traveled and accomplished so much and became as well known as the artist she was inspired by like Picasso or Gabriel Mistral.

Her physical legacy is the Museo de Nunez del Prado which was her family home. It now houses over 1000 of her works including drawings and sketches. The museum preserves the work of Nunez del Prado as well as contributions made by her sister who was a gifted goldsmith and painter and her father. Located in the center of the El Olivar Forest, the museum is a National Cultural Heritage site. Admission to the museum is free, but international visitors require personal identification such as a passport. Visits are guided by the curator.

Nunez del Prado’s non-physical legacy far extends beyond the borders of Peru. Her work has significantly impacted the field of sculpture both in Latin America and internationally. Her work has been a great influence in the collective identity of South American art. She has also been a subject in literature like work by the Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni, Uruguayan narrator Juana de Ibarbourou and Spanish poet Raphael Alberti. Since 1930 her work has impacted and been the source of admiration in countries such as Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Germany, USA, Brazil, Spain, Italy, France, Cuba and Mexico.

Rita knowing this tricked Robert into marrying her 2 days before he left. His mother, Mrs. Malcolm Booker, was highly upset for her son Robert.

Rita and her brother Wesley Anderson were both born in Cuba to mother, Miss Cynthia Beda Jarret. Rita’s Father Mr. Leroy Anderson was a tenor sax player of Jamaica, then also living in Cuba, finally died in Jamaica on January 18th 1997 under the cruel administration of Rita his own daughter. Rita’s mother Cynthia Beda Jarrett passed away in Canada June 17th 2013, abandoned and not acknowledged by Rita as how she chose to abandon her own children, creating that dark abusive Jezebelic character the world has come to know!

On May 11th 1981, Bob Marley died from Radio Active Ash given to him by Rita. This drug was given to Rita by Lloyd Christopher Blackwell to commit murder. This in the facilitating environment of 1976-1980 when the CIA placed an unusually large station in Jamaica, destabilizing the Government of Michael Manley and his supporters through the music that would have had

‘The Wailers’/Bob Marley as a target.

It was again Rita on September 11th 1987 who again joined with Dennis “Leppo” Loban to kill Peter Tosh, Free I and Peter’s doctor along with injuring Carlton “Santa” Davis, Peter’s drummer, Marlene Brown and Free I’s wife respectively. This occurred as the pressure grew on her around the New York case, where she took from Don Taylor $30,000,000 U.S dollars of Robert Marley’s money and was tried and found guilty of fraud along with David Steinberg, Marvin Zolt and deceased Louis Byles respectively.

What would the motivation be? Contemporaneous Court documents and Companies Office Of Jamaica correspondences will show that this was the time 1986/87 when she was looking to cover up her fraud charges in the New York courts by assuming ownership of Tuff Gong Records Ltd., owned by Robert Marley, Peter Tosh and I, Hon. Bunny Wailer. Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailers, stood in the way of this as she was looking to be charged for fraudulent conversion in signing away Wailers rights and Tuff Gong Trademarks and accepting funds in millions of dollars from Lord Christopher Blackwell.

Was it again Rita who killed her own aunt Ms. Viola Anderson; stopping her aunt from giving her house to her nephew “Vision” respectively. Who the Hell is Rita? Could Rita be “Jezebel” reincarnated? Continually charged and protected by Don Taylor on tour with Robert Marley as the I-Threes, she was acknowledged as a known Kleptomaniac.

Was it Rita who again along with Blackwell, smuggled a precious stone from South Africa for the thrill seeking high of a Kleptomaniac? Was it Rita again who robbed the African brother from Ghana of his families’ Legacy causing him to commit suicide? Not content on Robbing The Wailers she and Blackwell built a $20,000,000 studio in Ghana, stealing the name ‘Studio One’ to pass off selling that classic catalog of The Wailers. This would have to have burned down to the ground as it had!

Was it Rita again who killed the Japanese warrior at the Nyabhingi center Scotts Pass, Clarendon because she was condemned by the Rastafari Community for putting the Red, Gold and Green Rug on the floor for her special guests to walk on? She would later bring bulldozers to intimidate the Rastafari Elders there.

Who the Hell is Rita?

I, Bunny Wailer, am going to make quite sure that Rita and her accomplice Lord Christopher Blackwell pay for their vicious crimes in the court of law. Sela!

Three years prior 'The Wailers' career, Robert, Peter and I, Bunny didn't know Rita, as we were already a family of Father, Mother, Sons, Brothers, Sisters, Nieces, Nephews, Uncles; as we presently still are with the exception of Robert, Peter and Mother (Malcolm) Booker, killed by Rita and her accomplices, Lord Christopher Blackwell, Leppo and Dianne Jobson!

I am the survivor of ‘The Trinity’ ‘The Wailers’ from ‘Simmer Down’ on the Coxsone Studio One label up until ‘Catch A Fire’ and ‘Burnin’ albums on the Island Records Label respectively. The ending of ‘The Wailers’ catalog revealed Bunny Wailer to the international market place with the ‘Blackheart Man’ , ‘Protest’ and ‘Bunny Wailers Sings The Wailers’ albums in and around 1975-77 also on the Island Record label.

As Bunny Wailer, my involvement with Island Records officially governed and administrated by Lord Christopher Blackwell was only based on advances being paid by Island Records or Chris Blackwell regarding those three Bunny Wailer albums, and no royalties, up until presently herein 2013 respectively.

Since and around 1989 U.M.G. bought Island Records, and from then up until presently I, Bunny Wailer, have still not received any form of royalty payments or statements for all such albums from 1973 up until presently in 2013. I have also not received any payments regarding the sale and distribution of all the related albums from the manufacturing and distribution thereof.

Robert Nesta Marley in 1981 was pronounced dead by Radio Active Ash donated by the CIA to Lord Christopher Blackwell who passed the drug on to Rita who organized to put it in Robert’s food that killed him. In 1987 Rita again organized with parolee ‘Leppo’ along with Gangster ‘Yammie Yowie’ and his crew to go to Peter’s house where they killed Peter, Free I and Peter’s bush doctor injuring Peter’s drummer, Santa, Free I’s wife and Peter’s consort Marlene.

It was then afterwards, Robert’s mother Mrs. Malcolm Booker, who was the third killing, organized by Lord Christopher Blackwell and executed by Dianne Jobson killing Robert’s mother in her sleep. So between Rita, Blackwell and Dianne Jobson both Robert, Peter and Mrs (Malcolm) Booker were all killed by the organization and execution of all three accused murderers.

Now with these three killings, I, Bunny Wailer will be seeking Justice for and will never stop until all three killers are brought to Justice. And as for Robert’s $30,000,000 USD (thirty million dollars) that he Robert had left with Don Taylor for his children, that Rita somehow retrieved from Don Taylor, for this she along with David Steinberg, Marvin Zolt ad Louis Byles, who died during the USA court proceedings, were all tried and Robert Marley’s funds were retrieved and depleted by the USA Courts.

Neither of these three offenders and killers, Rita, Blackwell and Jobson have yet been penalized for these vicious crimes of murders and robbery, but I, Bunny Wailer, brother and son of these victims will be seeking the kind of Justice that will punish both Rita, Blackwell and Jobson for these their vicious crimes, done to my brothers and mother respectively. One member of these killings have already been imprisoned, ‘Leppo’, leaving three others to be charged and tried and convicted for their crimes by the Law and Justice.

If after Rita being tried in the USA for receiving from Don Taylor and denying Robert’s children, yet spending, Robert Marley’s $30,000,000 USD amongst murderers and crooks like David Steinberg, Marvin Zolt, Louis Byles; that only wanted her dead, how could Rita be involved in any of Robert Marley’s business when she Rita wasn’t even a Marley, because Mrs. Booker, Robert’s mother had already filed for him to be with her in the USA, prior Robert’s marriage to Rita.

Again in 1967-8 when Bunny was doing his false imprisonment of an 18 months sentence, his name was mentioned of being the father of Cedella, that could have caused the death of Rita and although Planno was suspected, it was a Rastafarian brethren named ‘Daggu’ who has been and still is Cedella’s father. Ask them both!

With this being the facts, why then isn’t Ziggy or Steve involved in the business surrounding Tuff Gong Records Ltd. instead of Cedella? Because Ziggy and Steve are sons of Robert Marley, while Cedella isn’t the daughter of Robert Marley, or Planno but of “Daggu”. Therefore if Rita has anything to do with Robert Marley, other than Ziggy and Steve, let this be seen because Rita is not a member of Tuff Gong Records Ltd. that is completely owned from start, and up until presently by Robert Nesta Marley O.M. and Hall Of Fame, Winston Hubert McIntosh O.M. and Neville ORiley Livingston OJ, CD and no one else.

These are just some very serious matters, that has to be accounted for surrounding ‘The Wailers’ and Tuff Gong Records Ltd. respectively.

It is quite obvious that Rita having killed two members of ‘The Wailers’ would be quite certain to try and do the same to the survivor ‘Bunny Wailer’. But let it be known and acknowledged that Rastafari guides and protects those who put their trust in H.I.M. and in only H.I.M. do I serve. I will not be afraid of the terror by night nor for the arrow that flieth by day nor the pestilence that trodeth in darkness nor for the destruction that wasteth at noon day, for a thousand shall fall at I side and tens of thousands at I right hand, for with I eyes shall I behold the reward of all evil doers! Do you want to know what I, Bunny Wailer, think about Rita? Rita represents Jezebel, a known and noted demon mentioned of in the Holy Scriptures. What has become of Rita’s aunt, (Auntie) and father (Daddy) Roy Anderson, that Rita is supposed to be related to as Aunt and Father. When the demons were claiming my brother Robert Marley in his final flight to Jamiaca on the plane where he died and didn’t make it back to Jamaica alive, what was Rita doing, not to be by the side of ‘her man and King’ the great Robert Nesta Marley O.M. and Hall Of Fame, instead she Rita was killing her own aunt (Aunty) because Aunty wanted to give the house that she inherited and lived in to ‘Vision’ her nephew and Rita’s supposed cousin, that sung with The Soulettes and The Wailers in the 60’s respectively.

Why did Rita try to make the man that was supposed to be her father, Daddy Roy’ a talented tenor saxophonist of those era when Rita was yet a child to think before he died from frustrations and from Rita’s wicked and vicious neglect concerning the musical brother ‘Daddy Roy’ the father of Rita. Who the F_ _ K is Rita? Jezebel?

With Rita, Cedella and Blackwell celebrating Bob Marley’s documentary at the Emancipation Park on April 20th, 2012 and putting the colors of the Ethiopian Flag and colors of the rainbow on the ground, when all of the world’s tours that Rita has been a part of in Robert Marley’s name, hoisted the Red, Gold and Green, yet Rita and companions in celebrating Bob Marley, placed the colors Red, Gold and Green on the ground! If Bob is, or means that Robert isn’t, then who naturally is Marley? A member of The Wailers?

The name “Jezebel” recurs in the book of Revelation where Jesus says this to His church, “I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality [whoring] and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways (Revelation 2:20-23).”

Revelation 17:1-2

1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

In Revelation, John writes about his vision of the last days. In his vision, he saw a great whore whose goal was to bring about the downfall of kings.

THE THREE KINGS

The Wailers consisting of Robert Nesta Marley, Winston Hubert McIntosh and I Neville Oriley Livingston entered into an agreement with Island Records Ltd. owned and administrated by Lord Christopher Blackwell. The said agreement was signed by Bob Marley, Peter McIntosh and Neville Livingston. It is therefore acknowledged that two of the three members of The Wailers did not sign their official signatures, yet the said agreement was administrated by Chris Blackwell after The Wailers had done the ‘Catch A Fire’ and ‘Burnin’ albums after receiving 4,000 Pounds Sterling from Chris Blackwell as an advance that was questionable, yet The Wailers delivered the first album ‘Catch A Fire’ and on touring and promoting the first album, The Wailers recorded the second album ‘Burnin’ respectively.

It was approximately two years later that I Bunny Wailer received only 6,000 Pounds Sterling from Chris Blackwell which related to royalties from both albums and there has never been any other royalties from both albums relating to those two Wailers albums up until presently. In 1975 Solomonic Productions entered into other agreements with Island Records Ltd. relating to the Blackheart Man, Protest and Bunny Wailer Sings The Wailers and receiving from Island advances of 45,000 Pounds Sterling for the first two albums and $100,000 USD dollars for the third album mentioned.

From that time in 1975-6 Bunny Wailer has not received any forms of royalty from Island Records then owned and administrated by Lord Christopher Blackwell prior him selling said company to UMG in 1999, that have done the same up until presently in 2013, approximately 38 years later.

From that time all three albums has sold millions of copies that have not been accounted for to Solomonic Productions by either Island Records, Lord Christopher Blackwell along with UMG respectively.

It is therefore understood by Solomonic Productions Ltd since then that the only thing to do was to sue both owners and authorities of Island Records Ltd. so as to get the justice for royalties earned from all there albums up until presently.

Solomonic Production Ltd. along with Bunny Wailer who is presently Hon. Neville Oriley Liivingston OJ CD along with receiving three keys to the cities of the US, will therefore be suing Island Records, Ltd., Lord Christopher Blackwell and UMG for hundreds of millions of dollars for the period of time they have both been distributing the related products. Let this therefore be acknowledged and understood by Blackwell, Island and UMG that seeking the Justice thereof will be the focus of Solomonic Productions Ltd. presently and futuristically.

THE WAILERS CONSPIRACY

PETER AND ROBERT SUFFERED INTENSELY

It is absolutely impossible to get anything positively done surrounding The Wailers having to do with the likes of Rita who after receiving thirty million USD ($30,000,000) from Don Taylor and after being directed by Bunny Wailer on behalf and in the best interest of Robert Nesta Marley’s children, refused to do as she was told by Bunny Wailer in that meeting, which further led to the court proceedings surrounding Robert Marley O.M. and the sums which her Rita had received from Don Taylor, leading up to her very serious court proceedings that almost sent her and her associates Zolt and Steinberg to prison.

Though Rita and her associates were not imprisoned the sums that she had received from Don Taylor along with properties and other assets bought by Rita afterwards were judicially confiscated and up until presently, approximately thirty million USD ($30,000,000) and values have been confiscated by the USA respectively, with no clear understanding of the loss other than Robert Nesta Marley’s Estate had to be sold to Chris Blackwell for less than 1/3rd of this sum.

It was after all those happenings surrounding Rita, that she again became the evidential witness for Chris Blackwell in the case against Island Records Ltd., Polygram and himself Chris Blackwell brought in Britain by Neville ORiley Livingston C.D. pka Bunny Wailer respectively seeking to defend Tuff Gong Records Ltd. and The Wailers recorded assets from being caught up in this highway robbery and collusion. This judicial encounter by one member of The Wailers on behalf of all three members of The Wailers against Blackwell and Island Records Ltd. did not in any way whatsoever involve Rita, therefore after escaping her first crime, relating to Robert Nesta Marley O.M.’s wealth, that actually belonged to Robert’s children and not Rita in any way or form, because Rita was long ago divorced by Robert Marley O.M. in 1968, she allowed herself to be used by Blackwell as a diversion in the case.

Instead of judicializing and convicting Rita, Bunny Wailer chose to cease from prolonging with the related judicial matters surrounding Chris Blackwell’s and Island Records Ltd. wrongs, that they still are therefore guilty of, based on Rita and Cedella’s disrespectful administration toward The Wailers in a Settlement Agreement which also includes Robert Nesta Marley O.M. pka Bob Marley, Winston Hubert McIntosh pka Peter Tosh respectively.

If that amount of time have been wasted and have passed without any performance surrounding The Wailers recordings and Intellectual Property that are affiliated in and under the settlement agreement signed by Bunny Wailer and Cedella, surrounding all related Wailers recordings mentioned and agreed to under said agreement, then what must there be done to protect The Wailers rights and interest in said agreement?

FALSE SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT

It must therefore be understood by Chris Blackwell, Rita Marley and Cedella that all business transactions surrounding Tuff Gong Records Ltd. administrated by them will therefore be taken over and administrated by the surviving shareholder of the related company, Neville ORiley Livingston C.D. pka Bunny Wailer on behalf of and in the best interest of Robert Nesta 'Bob' Marley O.M. and Winston Hubert McIntosh O.M. pka Peter Tosh respectively.

Based on these non performances, all-previous administrations done by Bunny Wailer, on behalf of The Wailers respectively, will be in no other form of Settlement other than Tuff Gong Records Ltd. becoming the sole and exclusively owned company of The Wailers respectively.

This must therefore be acknowledged and understood by Island Records Ltd. and U.M.G. respectively, that both The Wailers and their company Tuff Gong Records Ltd. will be the defensive method and measure for restoring all related rights to whom and where they belong respectively. It must also therefore be acknowledged and understood that all Wailers recordings and related compositions and rights will all be restored and returned to the musical legacy of The Wailers respectively and there will and must be no other situations surrounding the legal and legitimate rights to all related Wailers recordings respectively.

84 MILLION US DOLLARS + CURRENTLY OWED TO THE WAILERS UNDER SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT

Bunny Wailer is the only survivor of The Wailers along with Beverly Kelso and will therefore, on behalf of Robert Nesta Marley O.M., Winston Hubert McIntosh, Junior Braithwaite and adopted members Cherry Smith and Constantine Dream Walker, respectively be defending the rights and privileges of The Wailers in every way that is necessary to accomplish the benefit thereof. Bunny Wailer will therefore make quite sure and certain that every and all violators, which includes, Chris Blackwell, Rita, Cedella and Dianne Jobson, be quite aware that Bunny Wailer is quite sure that The Wailers rights and justice will and shall be realized now and futuristically.

BACKGROUND & MOTIVE

In The Wailers first encounter with Rita in and around 1965 after The Wailers had been established with hits like Simmer Down & Hurts To Be Alone, she was a woman that just had a girl child still on her breast, yet on the first time of her knowing The Wailers by them going to Coxone’s Studio where they had to pass her home, where she seemingly prostituted herself already with her having a baby, Sharon on her breast, which is later learned was one of Bunny Wailer’s childhood friend’s Brucie’s child instead of a member of twins whom she claimed she was pregnant for. She indulged Peter of The Wailers into her unholiness of actually having a sexual affair with him while she had Sharon as a suckling on her breast.

Peter at that time had just come to the city from where he was born in SavanaLaMar, a parish in Jamaica, where he was trained to be an electrical welder, the same as Robert was doing at South Camp Road along with Desmond Dekker respectively, prior along with Bunny Wailer, becoming members of The Wailers.

After Peter’s mistake of starting and ending a relationship with Rita, being a youth born in the country as also was Robert, who was then a ‘Nine Miles, St. Ann born youth as well, Rita after already having an unholy encounter with one member of The Wailers went ahead in having another relationship with Robert, still giving a mother’s treatment to Sharon her baby as well.

After a period of time of Robert going to Rita to see the guitar, he was told by Rita’s cousin ‘Vision’ that no such guitar was there and that the bicycles weren’t theirs , Robert retreated from Rita.

With Coxone robbing The Wailers and Rita playing her filthy sexual game on both Peter and Robert, the members of The Wailers were surprised to learn from Robert that he had gotten married to Rita and without any other member of The Wailers present at the wedding, it was an unknown measure for The Wailers, as youths to have been experiencing.

On returning from the Richmond Farm Prison where Bunny Wailer did time for possession of Ganja starting in July 1967, after recording other hits such as ‘Nice Time’ ‘Hypocrites’, ‘Thank You Lord’ etc., he came back to civilization to see not only Sharon but also a very young baby, Cedella, born two months after Bunny Wailer was imprisoned in August 1967, bearing the name of Robert’s mother, which was being spoken of as being Bunny Wailer’s child, but wouldn’t the baby Cedella also have been Mortimo Planno’s child if she was neither Bunny’s nor Robert’s respectively? Or it could even be Daggu?

The point is that Cedella was not accepted as Robert's child, but was imposed under Jezebelic emotional confusion, which can be seen in Cedella's non-Marley behavior. At the same time Bunny Wailer came home to see the Wail N Soul M label in disrepair and its recorded assets holed up in Rita's Aunty's outside toilet. He restored the business, while babysitting Cedella with, Robert, Peter and Rita caught up in the cobweb of Mortimo Planno's introducing and incorporating them individually to the deadly scorpion pirate Danny Simms.

Rita prolonged her evil and wickedness upon Robert by again becoming pregnant for another man named Ital Stewart within the marriage, with her Rita having a twelve fingers child for Ital Stewart, like Cedella Robert continued to live with Rita having this twelve fingers baby.
