Personal thoughts on chapter below cut (Contains Spoilers)

Tears poured down his face in a rush. Casey choked on a sob. “Master Leonardo.” He lifted his hands to grip his mentor’s wrist, grinning with relief. “You’re here! You’re alive!” Master Leonardo snorted, rolling his eyes. “Well, of course I’m alive! It takes a lot to take me out, you know!” Then, in a gentler tone. “Did you have a nightmare? I’ve had them before, too. It’s, um…” He looked away from Casey, suddenly unable to meet his gaze. “They’re hard to deal with.”

Oh this is so interesting. I love the changes in scenes, where it went from Casey cataloging everyone's snores, to suddenly this confusion of Future Leo being alive.

“You told Mikey to open a portal through time. You— you threw me back into time.” Casey gripped his scarf like a lifeline. “And… I fixed everything.” Tears ran down his face. “I met Raph, Master Leonardo. He was…” Master Leonardo looked at him with horrified eyes. “He was protective and kind… just like you.” “You met Raph?” His voice was odd. “And… Mikey… I wouldn’t…” 

The only thing to make Leo believe that it isn't just a dream, is Casey talking about Raph. And its not just because Raph is dead in the future. Its much more complicated than that. I'm assuming Casey would have usually avoided talking about Raph as he saw it was a sore spot for his Sensei, and often made him cry. Casey being Casey, hates it when his Sensei cries, of course. So naturally, he just avoids the topic of Raph all together.

Master Leonardo smiled, rolling his eyes. “Well, we’re not doing an all-out attack anytime soon. We’re gonna try and get to their Technodrome and—” “Close the portal on it?” Casey finished. Master Leonardo scoffed, raising his hands dramatically. “Aw, c’mon, how’d you know? This is a brand new idea! Never even thought of doing it before!”

Oh my gosh, the parallels!!

Casey blinked up at him, wiping the blurriness from his eyes. Why weren’t they at the base? Why didn’t he have Master Leonardo’s scarf around him? “Master Leonardo?” Casey groaned. “What’s going on?” The turtle patted him on the shoulder, grinning. “Well, first of all, it’s your turn to be awake. Then, in a few hours we’ll be meeting the rest of the resistance for a big attack against the Kraang. You must be really tired if you forgot. You were so anxious about it earlier!” Casey stared up at his mentor. How was he here? Why did he keep waking up here? Why couldn’t his happiness last? “Okay, sensei.” Casey agreed easily, stepping out of the bed to allow him to slip into the spot he had been laying just moments ago. “I’ll wake you in a few hours.”

Poor Casey... Having that happiness with his newfound family, then having it transition to feeling like he can save his original family, only to have it yanked out from under his feet. What a shame, poor boy. A bolt of energy went straight through his stomach. It hit the ground behind him, exploded, and sent the two of them flying. Originally, it had hit Master Leonardo. Originally, it had killed Master Leonardo. Now, the world had hope. Now, Casey Jones II was going to bleed out on the battlefield.

My jaw just DROPPED when I read this!!! Oh my gosh, I never would have expected this to happen!! Casey really is a lot more like Leo than anyone would like to admit.

Master Leonardo stared at the blood on his hand for a long moment before shaking his head. “I’m going to pick you up. This is going to hurt. Probably a lot…” His eyes lit up for a moment. “Oh! I’m going to wrap my scarf around your wound. That’ll” — Master Leonardo took a shaky breath — “that’ll keep you alive till I can get help.”

Ohmygosh, the pure amount of emotion in this scene is just, augh!! Its so good!!

History liked to repeat itself, Casey realized.  Master Michelangelo died creating a portal through time. Master Leonardo threw him into said portal. Only, this time his mentor jumped in alongside him. After all, a corpse couldn’t save the world.

Just, what??? What??? What the heck, this is crazy!!! Though, Casey is right, after all, Leo would never do something so rash, unless it meant saving someone he loved. Before, he was able to throw Casey through, and then stay behind to help out the remaining people. This time, he went with Casey. Also, before he stayed behind to ensure that the Krang wouldn't follow them through the portal, and he had already been shot. This time, he's in full(ish) health, and he's no longer thinking clearly.

(Raph had jumped in front of an attack meant for his mentor, after all. It was no surprise why that wound in particular may be hurting right now.)

Auuugh not the parallels again!!! Oh gosh, its so good!!

As he was dragged away, he heard the younger version of Leonardo speak up.  “He calls you master?” Casey fell asleep not long after.

Oh man, this is so interesting!! Did he travel back again? Is this an alternate timeline? I'm so curious as to what caused this!! Will this keep happening, with more and more Casey's and Leo's showing up?

It was the familiar presence in the room. It was the soft squelching of something inhuman walking toward him. It was hissing laughter. “They left you behind?” The Kraang taunted, body contorting as she spoke. “Ha! Easy prey.” Casey’s last thought before her tentacles wrapped around his wounded stomach was of Master Leonardo. I know he can save the world without me.

*Dies again from emotional whiplash* What??? Oh shoot, I hadn't thought of that.

“A trade, then. The human for the key.” Casey blinked his eyes open, looking through the odd, clear liquid. Below him stood five green shapes.  All of the turtles were here. Casey smiled. That was nice. His sacrifice had allowed his mentor to connect with the younger versions of his family. “Yes,” Master Leonardo’s voice echoed through the room. Casey watched him step forward, key held in his hand.

Nooooo this is even worse!!! Nooooo not all the horrible decisions!!! Oh gosh, everything just keeps getting worse the longer it goes on!!

“I wanted to fix things, but I think I just made it worse. Just, um, just know.” Casey met the eyes of the greatest ninja the world had ever seen and smiled as tears ran down his face. “I love you.” The monster burning under his skin flared up at the words, jumping out of his skin and consuming his limbs. Casey took a step away from his mentor, screaming louder than he thought was possible. It burned, it ached, it hurt.

I wonder, does the krang react to the words themselves, or the emotions caused by the words? Because all emotions cause different reactions in the body. If the krang are fueled by power, I wonder, what hormone, or emotion the krang are triggered by? Just some thoughts.

“Casey! It’s your turn to take watch.” Casey blinked up at his mentor, his memory oddly… blank. It was like there was a fog covering his mind. Something had happened… (“Casey! Casey, please!”) Something bad had happened, but he couldn’t remember it.  Why couldn’t he remember it?  He remembered Leo begging him to close the portal with him inside, he remembered waiting for his mentor for hours, he remembered being shot by the laser, but what had happened after?

I think he's stuck in a time loop of sorts. Man, poor Case.

“Casey! It’s your turn to take watch.” Casey lurched up, grabbing onto Master Leonardo’s shoulders. “I’m about to tell you something insane. You have to believe me.” His mentor laughed. “Uh, sure?” “I’m from the future. The attack today is going to lead to the death of the entire rebellion. April, you, Mikey— everyone.” Master Leonardo gave him a considering look, nodding along. “You’re going to ask Mikey to open a time portal to send me back in time to stop the invasion.”

Y'know, this is really sad. He gets yanked back, regardless or not if he succeeds. I can imagine, that after failing, this would feel like a second chance. But after succeeding? I can't imagine how much that would hurt!! To have victory, the thing you've dreamed about your whole life, given to you, then snatched away. I wonder, how long until he becomes numb?

Casey met his mentor’s gaze. “Can you think of any way I can get out of this?” “Do you mean a time loop?”  “A what?”

Called it!!

“Who are you?!” Leo demanded. “Why do you have my markings? Why’d you steal that thing? Why do you have my markings?!”

I find it hilarious that out of all the things to worry about, Leo is most worried about Casey wearing his trademark markings on his mask. Not where he came from, not what he's doing, none of that. Only, the markings.

Master Leonardo… A spark of blue energy traveled from the sword to his hand. Casey opened his eyes, grinning as Leo’s swords recognized him. Inches from the pavement, Casey opened a portal to the only place he could call home.  In another world, it was a warzone.  In another world, Master Michelangelo had sacrificed himself to open a portal through time here. In another world, Master Leonardo had died here. But, in this one, it was a meadow.

I'm crying!!! This is so precious!!! Oh my gosh, all of Casey's hard work!! Please let it be worth something!!

“Hey, my biggest fan,” Leo said, sounding oddly unnerved by Casey’s tears. “Are you— are you alright?” And, Casey— Casey had never felt worse. “I’m so tired.” Casey took the key from his satchel and placed it on the grass, surrounded by blue lilies.  “Do whatever you want with it. I don’t care anymore.“ Casey walked away, holding the blue lily close to his heart. “Casey! It’s your turn to take watch.” As always, Master Leonardo threw him into the portal.  As always, Master Leonardo died in a red pulse. Only, this time, Casey didn’t shed a single tear.

.... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm crying, what the heck??? Nooooooo this is so sad!!! oh my gosh, the poor boy!!! Augh, my heart!!! T^T

Big Ol' Rottmnt Fic Rec List

Hi, I've needed to do this for a while, so here's a big bundle of fic recs from me !

I've broken it down between one shots, chaptered fics, and series. I'll try to mention what the character focus is along with a brief summary and some personal thoughts. If you need more details I encourage you to check the fics summary and tags for yourself! I will only include an author's tumblr account if it's easy for me to find haha

One Shots

Mama's Boy - ashtreelane: Technically two chapters but it feels like a one shot. Casey Jr. angst, involving him finding out that maybe you can fix kraang infections and that he failed to save his mother. I love when people really pile the grief on Junior after all the fighting is over and the fic does it so well.

Forget-Me-Nots - GibbousLunation (AKA @klunkcat ): Hi, oh my god??? Leo and Mikey centric angst, in which saving Leo from the prison dimension has an insane ripple effect. Mikey dying? Nah he's going to start getting erased from every timeline and Leo slowly watches it happen (and refuses to do nothing about it). I utterly adore how this fic handles this concept. You see almost all of it from Leo's POV, noticing the little changes but writing them off as memory failures, because of how subtle some of it is.

Fight or Flight - pickledcarrotsandradish: Leo centric, post movie, Leo keeps waiting for his family to start lecturing him about all the dumb stuff he did during the invasion, and they aren't, so it's getting to him. A very neat narrative about how self loathing can warp our perception of how others see us. A++++

The Friend Zone Sounds Pretty Good, Actually - Cryptvokeeper: Eating this, eating this. You probably already know I love aroace Leo and this fic is an INCREDIBLE exploration of that. Even as just an ace person it hit SO many notes where I was just like "Oh god... I've been there buddy". And as a bonus the dynamic between Leo and Yuichi is v sweet. Love this a lot I've read it like five times.

Pink in The Night - unnamedmystery: Incredible April/Sunita fic. Like seriously this author wrote April's crush so well I think I was starting to fall in love with Sunita. Just incredibly cute all the way through, and great April writing, adore it.

《 until then, matriarch 》 - chiangyorange: HI OH MY GOD A nice chunky oneshot about Karai, about her being a leader, and it's phenomenal. It hits and hits and does not miss, really going in depth about her emotions involving her father turning into something wicked and having to destroy him, and how it ruins all of her good memories.

The Kindness of Collision - SpoonerizedSwiftness (AKA @splickedylit ): Hi I still remember the fic and the art suddenly showing up in the tag and then I was thinking about it for the next like five weeks aslkdjf A very interesting idea that when the turtles reach the age they were in the doomed timeline before things got reset, all the memories of their other life more or less hit them like a train. All of them have to comb through that information and it's a wonderful and emotional ride.

Chaptered Fics

Hamartia - Punable (in progress): Hi this is one of my all time favorite rise fics, mainly because in a way, it helped me come to terms with my chronic pain. It's Donnie centric and smack full of angst in all the best ways. Shorthand summary, an explosion in Donnie's lab almost takes him out (or kind of DOES take him out) and the recovery is not only long and agonizing, it may only go so far, and Donnie doesn't cope well with that.

Kick It Up a Notch - Brokenpitchpipe (completed): Hi this is my other all time fav rise fic. Donnie centric separated AU in which Donnie is raised by Draxum. My love for it stems a lot from the characterization of Donnie though, and even Draxum in this case. Not to mention that in a lot of cases it matches the vibes of the show. And in spite of all the humor, there's a few really gut wrenching moments. 10/10 will re-read.

Lightning in Our Fingertips Today - DaFlangsLairde (AKA @daflangstlairde-art) (completed): Leo and Donnie centric, mostly angst, with body swapping between the twins which results in Donnie finding out that Leo's ninpo hurts him. Love love love the character writing in this, and also how the swap is written.

Under Pressure - ParvumAutomaton (completed): Not sure this is a single character focused fic, but basically April goes cave diving and is out for a while, and the turtles get worried and go looking for her. This might be personal bias but as someone who gets really into caving stories, this fic hits the spot for so many reasons. A really great emotional ride, and if you wanna see April go through it then I super recommend it.

Nothing Haunts Us (like the things we don't say) - mad_and_thick_as_theives (completed): A lot of great fics by this author btw, but this one personally stood out to me. It starts of silly and light only to sweep in with the emotional weight. Turtles are all cursed with a truth spell, basically, but I think my favorite bit is who gets out of it first (and why). V sweet.

Creation of a Philospher's Stone - IgnisCanis (completed): Whoooo boy, if you want some Draxum centric character exploration this is a great one. It really fleshes him out as a morally grey character and also does a fantastic job at writing Mikey when he finds out.

The Ol Switcheroo - radishhqueen (AKA @radishhqueen) (completed): Haha not going to lie I have a few by this author (so I'll only tag them once) but MAN. Hands down my favorite take on future leo coming to the past, and maybe I'm biased because I like when those fics actually explore Junior's character in the process buuuuut I love it. Junior's already struggling to adapt himself to the present, and after getting caught up in a foot clan spell which summons his sensei to the present too it really doesn't get any easier.

Vigilantism for Fun and Profit - radishhqueen (completed): The Cassandra Jones fic ever. Zero contest. If you're uncertain about writing Cassandra because she had so little development in the show I encourage you to read this for inspiration (I know it inspired me a lot). It does such a great deep dive into her character post show and a bit of the movie too. Honestly anytime radishh has a Cassandra fic I am clicking.

Tried to Grow Up Good - Sroloc_Elbisivni (AKA @sroloc--elbisivni )(completed): The Casey Jr. fic ever. CRAZY in love with this post movie take on him. It's messy, it's fun, it's so so real and you get a good chunk of Casey Sr. in here too. Adore it.

Hold On (Or Three Times Donatello's Soft Shell Almost Killed Him, and One Time it Saved His Life) - dunk_on_em (AKA @spockazilla )(completed): If you ever want a bit of angst involving Donnie's shell this is my go to. Every chapter has an emotional swing, even the positive ones. And shows something most people might see as a disadvantage as a good thing, actually.

Atlas, My Brother - swampcryptid (AKA @the-name-is-rizzotherat)(in progress): Get your Raph angst, specifically involving him always shielding his siblings, this time via a curse. My guy is already going through it and I think it'll get worse if a solution isn't found.

I've Got You Under My Skin - Cass_Phoenix (in progress): More Raph angst, and some Donnie, a truly chilling exploration of the possible consequences to connecting with the kraang. This fic constantly has me on the edge of my seat, and constantly stressing for Raph.

What We Leave Behind (How We Start Anew) - iam57311 (AKA @iam-57311)(in progress): Any Baronjitsu fans here? An alternate take on canon in which Draxum and Splinter co-parent the kids since they're first born (made?) Hilariously while I love the Baronjitsu content in here, I think some of my favorite parts are actually with the sisters, Big Mama, and Draxum's sister who is so so cool I love her.

Proof of Redemption - iam57311 (complete): Another one of theirs! A short and sweet lil close to canon fic about Draxum steadily gaining the trust and affection of the Hamatos, with each chapter focused on a different character. I love how they're all paced out from each other, really hits how some are much slower than others to trust Draxum hehe.

No Crime* Only Brooches - OllieTheScribe (AKA @olliethescribe) (in progress): Well I have to get THE HypnoWarren fic in here. Such a fun take on these characters, I love love love the backstory they built up for Warren too, plus the dynamic between these two and the turtles after (eventually) become friends haha.

Minor Interference - bambiraptorx (AKA @bambiraptorx) (in progress): What can I say? This fic is delightful. Between the hilarity of the turtles going with Draxum just to mess with him, the lore additions for yokai and the Hidden City, HoH Donnie, and their slowly building dynamic, always eager for a new chapter with this one.

Series

A Butterfly with a Mechanical Wing - Amethyst_Goldenwind (AKA @amethystgoldenwind ): Donnie centric series about being a non-verbal autistic. I'm always fond of non-verbal/mute explorations of characters, and so far I really like how, because his family has grown up with it, all of it is very normal for them. The various forms of communication are delightful. Excited to see further entries.

Analogous Hues - alwerakoo (AKA @alwerakoo): It's a separated AU with similar titling themes as my own, needed to check it out. The titles are just about all they have in common though! This AU focuses a lot on the turtles (Raph and Leo with Splinter and Donnie and Mikey with Draxum). I love how this explores not only the dynamics of the two groups and how different they are, but also the dynamics between each of the siblings, also how some magic sibling connections can influence that. Not to mention the different home life in more ways than one. If you're into separated AUs that really dig into the turtles dynamics try this one out !

Which TMNT Write Fight fics were your favorite to write/read?

Well I gotta start off with the attack I received from @yellowhollyhock

Resemblance was SOOOO cute and funny I cannot count how many times I've reread it at this point.

I also really liked Snow Day by @phoebepheebsphibs. I'm a sucker for a good Casey Jr centric post movie fic. I love seeing how he adapts, what's familiar to his world in the future, what's different. And his relationship with Raph was super cute. We stan Raph being protective over a kid he barely knows but still considers family.

Another one I liked reading was Eggs, Oranges, Ice Cream by @bambiraptorx. The interactions between Splinter and Draxum were so funny.

Those are probably my top 3, though there were plenty more AMAZING fics. Write Fight was super fun, and I 100% plan to do it next year if it happens again.

There’s a fic I read ages ago, I can’t remember the name of it only the general plot :((

Basically it takes place post movie, it’s kinda Casey Jr. centric, it’s like running through how each of the turtles from his timeline got their ‘titles’ like how Leo became Sensei, or Mikey became Master Michelangelo, or whatever. The whole fic is like ‘oh what was Raphs title, what was Raphs title’ and then it ends kinda sad where it’s like ‘Raphs title was dad’

I was reading a mikey-centric fic, and mikey was being very parental to Casey Jr.

So I had a headcanon idea that if leo is Casey's father figure(you can take that headcanon of my cold, dead hands), wouldn't it be very cute if michelangelo was like a mother figure?(in the sense that he gave Casey a lot of comfort and guidance)

One of my rise headcanon is that mikey is genderfluid and since another popular headcanon is that Casey's lost Cassandra when he was very little, it would kinda work?

One Shots

Don't You Care? – Donnie and Leo centric, post-movie. Donnie isn't always great with feelings, and when he fails to understand Leo's, he tries to find a way to fix it. Doing so forces him to unpack some of his own thoughts on their victory over the kraang as well.

To Bridge a Canyon of your Own Design – Splinter centric, post-movie, a bit of a retrospective on his relationship with his sons, his depression, and him trying to move away from his unhealthy coping mechanisms.

I Didn't Vote for You – Leo's the leader now, and Donnie always finds ways to argue with him about it. Leo wants to find out why Donnie has such a problem with how he's trying to lead the team, but it turns out that isn't the problem. It's simply the fact that Leo's the leader at all.

I'd Give Anything – Donnie-centric. A slightly alternate take on the movie's ending where instead of just firing a drill into the portal, Donnie jumped in, and ends up losing an arm in the process. But he has to kind of piece all of that together as he recovers in the med bay, talking to each of his family members.

Grappling With Things Beyond Your Control – Gift fic for my friend Bat! Donnie-centric, post season 2. Suddenly getting ninpo with no prior training causes Donnie's powers to start to run amok, and on top of that he has to help his family not only find a new home but move into one. It's a lot to balance, maybe too much to balance.

Four Turtles in your Corner (Store) – A silly fic about April being out of supplies for her period, and in desperation sends the boys to go get her some. I'm sure four reptilian mutants have competent knowledge on what humans need for things like this.

Now Lie In It – Big Bang fic! Takes place during season 2. Leo won't sleep, and ends up getting on Donnie's nerves. The softshell's solution to the problem is a simple sleep potion, but when he pours too much into Leo's tea his brother won't wake up. Time to force April and Draxum to go find an antidote while he hides his mistake from the rest of his family. (it sounds angsty but it's comedic, actually)

What Will You Leave Behind – Big Bang fic! Doomed timeline, Raph centric. Raph is the first of his siblings to die during the war. And while he does everything he can to be their ever present pillar as they eventually follow after, he can't help but loathe the fact that the ones still down there are suffering and he can't do anything to help.

My Words Died With You – Gift fic for Bat! Doomed timeline, Donnie centric. Donnie quit speaking when Raphael died, months later he still isn't. His family tries to help him cope with this, even Raphael does from the afterlife, but it may not be enough.

Hardcoded Conduct - Gift fic for Bat! Post movie, Donnie centric with a lot of Mikey POV. Mikey thinks about how Donnie is, at his core, a good person. And this opinion doesn't falter even when Donnie reveals a terrifying new power he has. And while Mikey might be right about Donnie, sometimes Donnie's care and concern is exactly what causes him to make bad choices.

My Roommate the Troubled Time Traveler (One Shot) – Casey and Draxum centric. Casey Jones Jr. isn't coping too great with being in the present, and trying to live in the lair isn't helping. So Mikey has the GREAT idea to convince Draxum to let Casey be his roommate. The alchemist thinks this is a terrible idea, but he might be able to help the kid far more than he realizes.

Violet Hues and Holly Blue (Completed) – Donnie centric. 8 months after the kraang invasion and Donnie's been the reigning champ in the Battle Nexus for a while, in his attempts to improve his mystic abilities. But this draws the attention of a business focused wasp named Holly Blue who offers to help sell his tech designs in the Hidden City. Donnie ends up agreeing, having to keep that secret from his family too, but eventually they're going to find out. (This is only a partial summary haha sorry, fic is heckin long)

Missing Pages – Just some VHHB extras, but hey it features Big Mama being herself, Lou Jitsu maiming some people, Donnie dealing with past blood on his hands and uuuuh Leo and Holly becoming friends (what a mood whiplash)

You Are Loved (Completed)– Two-shot fic about the Caseys (of the Senior and Junior variety). Casey Jr. wants to know why his ninpo sprung up so suddenly, and in his search to find out discovers his family is much closer than he realizes. Meanwhile Cassandra is struggling with her place among the Hamatos, it doesn't help when she finds out they're keeping a pretty big secret from her. Hopefully they can make it up to her.

The Sun and Icarus (Completed) – Mikey-centric. He's been doing pretty good at developing his mystic abilities lately, but now they're starting to explode, pretty violently. And it turns out if this keeps up the whole ordeal could just kill him. Better find a way to put a cap on it, or something to that effect. (Wow more power overloading fics from ME)

Girls' Night (One Shot) – April centric one shot, also April/Sunita. She's just trying to have a fun night out with the girls, inviting Holly Blue along for the ride, but maybe that was a mistake because in her attempts to playfully tease the wasp, she's suddenly forced to confront her own crush.

And For my Next Trick (One Shot) – Leo-centric one shot. Leo's getting frustrated with his lack of progress on his mystic powers, and with Hueso's advice decides to shift his focus to a different kind of magic, stage magic. With Hueso Jr.'s help, he plans to put on an entire show, which should be fine if some other magician doesn't show up to steal the show.

Look Up Hero in the Dictionary (Completed) – Raph centric. Raph's feeling a bit too idle in the city lately, with only minor crimes going on, but in his wish for something exciting a strange explosion happens at an apartment building. He attempts to help everyone escape, but a yokai holding the building together stays behind, and on top of that charges Raph with the task to take care of her child. Have fun taking care of a powerful psychic seven-year old, Raph.

What You're Made Of (One Shot) - Casey Jr. centric. Casey is getting frustrated with discovering weird things about his body like skin problems and peanut allergies. Draxum suggests he find out who his other parent is to get an idea of his genetic history, but when he finds out who it is, he's kind of ticked off that his family never told him. (this is a bio dad Raph fic for the record).

The Knight and the Dragon (Completed) - Jasonnie centric. Episodic chapters about Donnie and Jason learning to be friends and then becoming more than friends. Very sappy, a bit of angst, a lot of me making up lore about Jason.

Why Does Casey Call You Babygirl? (One Shot) - Raphael centric. Raph and Cassandra start dating and after Casey calls him a certain nickname by accident, Raph starts questioning his gender a whole lot. At least he's got the fam around to help.

Here's To You Holly Blue (Completed) - Grief fic, OC, Donnie and Leo focused. Takes place roughly 17 years later when Holly Blue's health takes a drastic drop and she won't be coming out of it.

Off Colors AU (Separated AU)

Off Colors: Contrasts (Completed) - Covers season 1. Leonardo's spent most of his life believing he's an only child because his little brother was kidnapped when they were only toddlers. But a rescue mission to the Hidden City with his best friend April results in him finding out he actually has three siblings. And in the span of a couple of weeks he finds out all of them are alive and, unfortunately, working for bad guys. He's going to try everything he can to stop them and convince them to come home, but it may be a fools errand.

Off Colors: Analogous (in progress) - Covers season 2. Leonardo now has his siblings living in his home, but it's more of a nightmare than a dream come true since he only gets along with one of them. Still, maybe with time they can all start working things out, and the sooner the better since there's still a threat on the horizon.

Other Chaptered Fics

An Alien Invasion Happened but That's Not Really What This is About (Completed) - Long ass title. Jason-centric. Hi I wrote a novella sized fic about what happens to this kid during and after the events of the movie. Watch him attempt badly to cope with trauma while also fixing his relationship with his very queer dad who loves him a lot.

Artificial Phoenix (Completed) – Lou Jitsu died in the arena but then Big Mama said no no no! So Draxum brings him back to life while mutating four turtles so Lou Jitsu said NO NO NO! And he took them and ran. Alternate take on the events of the show, where Splinter is undead and unmutated, and unfortunately does not keep his soul in his body the entire time, leaving his sons grieving and desperate to get him back.

Jasonnie things

Not Part of the Plan (One Shot) – Donnie centric. Despite knowing time travel exists, Donnie is still surprised to find his future self in his lab. But his excitement at the possibilities is swiftly crushed as his future self has an easy time embarrassing him. He hopes he can at least gather some useful information in the process, but he slowly begins to wonder if he even wants answers to all these questions.

You Have to Let Him Go (One Shot) – Donnie centric also sad as hell. I literally just wanted to write about how Donnie's husband hecking dies. Read this if you want to be miserable. (or if you hate Jase I guess ??? alskdjf man got char grilled (I have to make jokes to keep myself from being upset shh))

I'll Put the Knife in Your Hand (Completed) – Well, now that Donnie heard about his possible future husband, he's determined to at least get to know the guy. Unfortunately his family is far more cautious about this than he seems to be. AKA Four times Donnie's family believes Jase is planning to stab him in the back, and the one time he actually does.

ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND (One Shot) - Donnie is messing around with his mind machine again, and in the process ends up erasing part of his memory. Specifically the memories about Jase, and Jase is barely handling this well. Good thing Donnie's brothers who totally and absolutely are on good terms with Jase are there to help. Maybe.

Dual Dragons (One Shot) - Collab fic with @there-wolf ! A fic in which our versions of Jason end up encountering each other and even switching universes temporarily, giving them a window into how their life could be different (for better or worse).

I'm quite a small artist, duh, and I draw cartoons ^^" I also enjoy animating/animation and writing. For the past year, my art has consisted of the ninja turtles, mainly the 2018 iteration. I hope to come up with an AU because it would be an absolute BLAST to make a comic out of, but alas, all the cool ideas that come to mind are taken. Hence my asks, if you wanna give me your AU ideas but don't feel like elaborating on them yourself... which is understandably unlikely.
